2161  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin change the distribution of wealth in the world? on: November 01, 2017, 06:34:59 AM
We want better education, better healthcare, better everything and yet our very money does not allow for these things. Our money, enforced by our governments, is what holds us back more than anything. Real economics is not allowed to take place in our current world. But Bitcoin is changing that. And if governments are unable to stop Bitcoin, which it will be very difficult to do, then we are in for a life changing world in the near future. Just as how the Internet removed the lies of religion and government, so too will Bitcoin remove the chains of government.

Bitcoin with all its paraphernalia of positivity as to why users adopt it like - removing the chains of government, decentralization etc, it can't distribute wealth equally but can only create avenue for new wealth creation which people who see the vision can become rich and others who don't or who still see it as a bubble and waiting for it to burst; thus people already invested losing their money , would keep being backwards in the distribution.

This is synonymous to what happened in the early adopters
Just like the usual way of life is. Those who see opportunity and make use of it, are always better.
The world is not designed for wealth to be equally distributed. No matter how you want to do it, some will still end up remaining poor and some will remain wealthy and some even wealthier. Bitcoin is just a tool and it is left to those who want to make use of it.

Do you think bitcoin gold value will rise to bitcoin value
Maybe I should ask you a question in return. Do you think a small hut on a half plot of land will rise to be a castle in the future ?

I believe that should answer your question. Isn't it obvious that bitcoin gold was never necessary and as it is, is even already messed up at its early stage. If you were even asking about BCC, it could have been better, which to me does not even have much hope yet as far as I am concerned for now.
2163  Economy / Economics / Re: Investment amount on: November 01, 2017, 03:51:07 AM
My investment advice is always buy what you can afford to lose but deep down I want to tell you to sell everything you have and put it into BTC. Only if you are comfortable doing it though.
Honestly, it is really easy to say buy what you can afford to lose but man! The situation can be very tempting. Sometimes, it just takes a huge leap of faith to take some decisions but not without considering the risk involved.

All the above, the way I see bitcoin now, it seems more to me like a great opportunity and the higher the risk you take, the better your chances of getting better in life becomes. After all, life is all about the risk and as long as life goes on if any bullshit happens, then no shit right? Grin ...

Guess I might have to start thinking of going all in, just do what people would not do, that is what makes it fun anyway.
2164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STRATIS or WAVES or ARK? on: October 31, 2017, 07:12:09 PM
I would personally invest into STRAT.
It could easily go back to ATH.
Stratis just had a pretty huge pump which came crashing right back down not for so long. If I am to pick anyway, I might have to choose the three. Strats might be good for short term, while waves and ARK would be good for long term. The choice is only dependent on those buying. One way or the other, I will have some pretty gains in the short term or in the long term
2165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [OMG] OmiseGO - Speculation & Discussion on: October 31, 2017, 06:32:11 PM
Bought at just below 10dollars what a drag..How long till 20 dollars?
when you are looking at new investments in ICO. the assets we can see people in their wallets. omisego have been more invested I think. The $ 50 price will come soon I think. may be able to see it in 2018.  Cool
OMG is obviously a very lovely project and $50 by 2018 may actually sound feasible and I will not really be surprised. It has really proved itself worth the investment and in the next few years, I absolutely believe it would surprise a whole lot of people. I still always get angry with myself for not getting in early though, but there is still time.

I invest OMG - the best team, good idea - this should be a big success.
Would really be a big success. Although I am still pretty much waiting for the few days before the 2X fork cause I have huge plans of stashing up at that dip and watching out the turn of events and profit after the dip. It seems to me more like a good bargain than the 2x. However, no one knows the future, so I might just have to play the card equally.
2166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins are dying on: October 31, 2017, 05:57:39 PM
despite altcoins price has dropped recently, many people are changing into bitcoin, but many people still keep using altcoins for transactions, so as long as altcoins still be used by us, altcoins will never die.
It depends on the altcoin being used. Some are actually coming up with good projects that would make them to be used and stay relevant in the community and if this can keep going on for them with some pretty big developments for them over time, then they surely cannot die.

But if you look at the market today, some of the altcoins dev have even dropped theirs and the few people holding are just stucked with a shit coin and no one to buy making it worthless, those sort of coins are dead!
2167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: October 31, 2017, 05:26:49 PM
I've read here a lot about "Gambling doesn't make you rich" So I thought about it, and it does make sense. So what do you feel about gambling then? Just entertainment? I think that's not everybody's mindset.

In the back of my mind, I want to be rich but not because of gambling. But when I gamble, I still always want to win. So when you always win, you become more rich and more risk will be involved. Anyway, if I would earn a winning bet that would have a lot of profit from, I would withdraw the initial bet or the bitcoins I deposited to get it back, then still gamble.

If you would have a winning bet that would give you a lot of profit, what would you do with it?
i will make a withdraw and send it into the exchange for fund my trading but it's depends on how big my winning will be. Big winnings need a high luck
That’s exactly my point. My action and decision will depend upon the amount that I would be winning in the game. If it would be a small one then I would treat it in no different way than I use to. Simply go to a nice bakery or cafe, eat and drink, enjoy the life and smile at the winning. But let’s just supposed I won a jackpot which is nearly impossible, all my money would go into bitcoin and I would wait for years to become rich without taking. Any financial stress.
2168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever lose time from work or school due to gambling? on: October 31, 2017, 03:34:23 PM
I am often late from work due to gambling. Did you ever lose time from work or school due to gambling?

I haven't been as bad as you. Can still do the job even though once, gambling poker from early afternoon until early morning. However, I still leave for work at 7 am.

Damn you sound at least as bad. Are you really playing cards whole evening and night after coming from work? How are you even awake in there? It's not only bad for your health but it's also going to slowly destroy you mentally. I hope you can wake up and get over it.
The time of school means lower age and in lower age nobody gamble in my country and especially in my locality. I had never lose my time or work due to gambling. I am not addicted of gambling. If I have the time to play some game then I play but if have no time from my work then I even do not think about gambling. Gambling is not permitted by the government in my country, therefore nobody can gamble openly.
Your society must be a civilized one or an intellectual one. They know the harms of this game and honestly, one must enjoy his childhood the way it is supposed to be or expected by all. It is better to leave this game for rich old people who have nothing to do in life. They have achieved all what they wished for and now don’t find any activity in their spare time or might desire get together with their buddies. Gambling is not for kids and youngsters who are full of dreams and energy.
2169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you learn from your gambling mistakes? on: October 31, 2017, 02:23:28 PM
Oh well i keep repeating the same mistake on gambling, i become greedy everytime i win and always doubling everytime i loss my bet. It's really hard to control ourself on gambling, it feels like my next bet will 100% win but nope you lose again and repeat.

It sounds like you are playing more for the rush of taking a risk then for profit ---> if the rush is what you are playing for then that's fine because that's what you'll get.  But, you have to understand that the rush is that feeling you get BEFORE the results of the game are realized.  Slow, consistent profit taking is boring, but it adds up in the long run.  Sometimes that "rush," that momentary feeling of elation, is temporarily worth the loss ---> but in the long run, it's a terrible practice.
I have learnt a lot from my mistakes while gambling. I am not interested in so much gambling but I think time will teach you these tricks win the game. Success is due to the experience and skills and these both need time to learn about.

I think that if someone has both of the above mentioned techniques then he will definitely win. He will mistake several times but one day he will be perfect in his tricks.
Gambling involve tricks and experience and skills.
Gamblers can win games if they have all these things. I hope I have got you right and if this is what you were saying here then I have a little different thoughts in this regard.

Skills, tricks, talent, experience and whatsoever similar things cannot bring winnings to gamblers because these things cannot give s control over random games. which purely depend up luck. This is why we don’t meet gambling made rich people very often.
2170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I try to win back my loss? on: October 31, 2017, 01:25:27 PM
Try again for winning the bet after lose. Don’t fear gambling is totally luck although some use tricks. If you are lucky then you will make lots of money with gambling otherwise you will lose continuously and may your wallet get empty due to losing your money.

So try to win your lost bitcoin is mandatory to keep gambling and to reverse your lost money. If you have no skills of gambling then you should not gamble because you will never win. Use wining techniques.
Fear gambling because it is an easy way of being bankrupt and this is what actually happens to the majority of gamblers who start playing this game for making it their income source but lose their wealth easily then they want to get that money back with the same way.

I never understand why people do this even after experiencing the failures themselves. Chasing loss in gambling brings more loss and it is damn true.
2171  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how control my emotion?? on: October 31, 2017, 08:04:57 AM
Its too difficult to control emotion. More experience you are more understand how to control it. Actually we can not control 100% of emotion.
Try to planning everything you do is one of way to control emotion.
Controlling emotion is really not something very difficult. The truth is that if you are good and you know what you are doing, you see every of your move as the perfect move to make and you will never regret them. I understand that we cannot control 100% of our emotion and there would often just be some bad days, but over time, these emotions fade off in trading once you grooming into professional trader.

Emotion control is a not just a lesson to be learned within one or two days. It must be a practice, should be heart-learned over time.
2172  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Will You Do If You Are Trap On A SHIT Coin ? Or Low Volume Coin on: October 31, 2017, 06:50:55 AM
In the world of crypto currency if you invested into a coin and it suddenly happen that the coin was dump in price all you have to do is wait for the time when the coin will pump. I could remember when I invested into cloak coin last year which it later dump in price and I have to wait till this year before I could sell it.
A whole year is really a very long time to hold a coin and not everyone have that luxury when I know I could have sold it a longer time ago and bought into a much more better coin which would have given me the profit back quicker and even better. That shows how shitty the cloak coin is and definitely must be experiencing the same fate now Wink

Oh, I can see it has been pumped recently. But nevertheless, that was a huge wait mate! Your level of patience is out of this world.
2173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: job and trading together.. on: October 31, 2017, 06:10:09 AM
If you already have a job and its make your life easy when it comes to your needs , you don't need to invest for tradings cause trading is so risky and we never know if your coins/tokens will boom . I suggest you to invest some  btc and keep it to your wallet , but if you still want to trade you can go ahead and review coins/tokens platform and once you liked it try to invest some of your savings and take a look if you gonna have some profit If you have then just continue , but then again its risky.
That is just it. Like they always say that the devil you know is better than the angel you do not know. Sure, it is good to take risk but at least it is always good to find out first before taking a risk.

Trading can be a good option for someone who is not really getting something pretty good and can at least raise something for themselves to start trading if they have the analytical knowledge and skills. However, for someone with a good job who has been doing pretty fine, they will be surprised that trading is a more hectic way of earning than the regular income they are earning.
2174  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: October 31, 2017, 05:14:25 AM
The bitcoin is not dead. Truthfully bitcoin now is in the state of growing. Each of the day the value of it keep increasing. Many people now discovers the bitcoin and it is the source of income. Bitcoin is slowly become popular in each of the country. many investors and traders here in bitcoin to earn also. Bitcoin will never end.
Even if it’s going to end (which it might) it won’t be now, cause now people believes it has value, and that’s what keeps it going till the day they will all see it as something with no value. Never rely much on media, they can kill you one day lol. Most of them are used it giving false information, though those kind of things will convince people the more as they have seen it risen several times despite all that happens.
2175  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Paying with Btcoin on: October 30, 2017, 07:32:14 PM
Yes, for sure, countries in europe, america or this kind of country where the money is stable , paying in Bitcoin would be "just for fun" , but in the countries where the money is not stable (like in venezuela for example) , paying with bitcoin can be very interesting
You have a point. However, do not forget the importance of bitcoin generally which is why most people are adopting it. Although, I understand your point about it being more fun for much more developed countries than some of these third world countries which would end up being more like a safe haven for them if they can start utilizing it.
2176  Economy / Economics / Re: BITCOIN misconceptions on: October 30, 2017, 06:16:10 PM
I agree with you some are living daily jobs just to focused on signature campaigns.Making it as priority and only source of income instead of alternative source so they could hold it for the future to earn more profit .Some also rely their dreams only through bitcoin. It could be possible but we must also be ready to deal with failures just like the volatility of bitcoin there's also a probality that our dreams will be volatile too when our only source is bitcoin. So it's better to learn and be updated all the time,do our own research and not to trust right away.If there's a decent job then give a good service while working with bitcoin at the same time. It's just like hitting one bird with two stones- reaching your dreams through hardwork and with bitcoin.
It’s hard for most people to understand, and the reason is because they don’t want to learn it. Yes, we should see it as a currency, but some of us cross the line a lot, to the extent of thinking that Bitcoin was made to replace real currencies, that’s madness. Bitcoin is money and Gold is also money, but there are things that makes them different. They’re just assets.
2177  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: October 29, 2017, 03:54:02 PM
Of course yes, maybe just for interest. That is like casino for them. One can win, one can loose.
What makes bitcoin a Casino ? Funny…yes they invest in it, but that someone is a billionaire doesn’t mean they’re into gambling stuffs like Casino.Even, I don’t think a big billionaire, running a big world industry would have time for Bitcoin.
2178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: return as soon as possible and win back your losses . on: October 29, 2017, 06:58:46 AM
What you described is known as chasing. Many people will tell you not to do it in case you chase and end u worse off but I say if you can afford to go for it then you must. Your odds will not change if you carry on or if you stop. When you resume the odds do not pause or stop. The next roll is just as likely to win or lose as the last even if you want or lost 29x in a row there is still the same odds for the next roll. This cannot be changed and is just gamblers fallacy. If you can afford it I say go for it!! Good luck!!
I think it is good to chase your lost, but up to a limit. It does not mean to lose everything you have just for chasing your small amount of lost. Because some time we remain as unlucky so in such situation we need to play gambling up to a limit we should not exceed the limit that we have fixed for our playing gambling if we want to continue gambling for a long time.
2179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Signature Campaigns on: October 29, 2017, 03:52:26 AM
Most signature campaigns are rubbish due to them paying out in their coins which are worth jack shit and in a few months they'll likely be worth nothing.
I feel this is where it is necessary to pay attention to projects that would really be of great value and not just joining any how project. Holding for a long term anyway has always paid since most times, everyone both bounty hunters and some investors usually dump their coins once it hits the market.
2180  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever be $5,000 again? on: October 26, 2017, 05:51:32 PM
I really don't think so and I'm still buying. I think $5,000 will be something we tell the next generation about  Cool

TO THE MOON!!
Anything can happen and it is still very hard to tell at this moment. Healthy amount of development coming up most especially with the upcoming contentious hard fork of 2x and in as much as the community support for 2x is dropping, we still do not know what or how it would play out.

Nevertheless, at this stage, it may be very hard to get it at $5000 and once it obviously does, it is going to have a lot of buy ins obviously.
