New permanent node at 193.8.21.38
New SPT pool at sptpool.digsys.bg Zero pool fees Vardiff stratum only Full block rewards (sorry to see superblocks go)
If you guys want them to stay, I don't have to remove them. Then the reward would stay at 49 instead of 48. Removing the superblocks should help price in the short term, but have no affect on the long term because of the 1 coin reduction to keep generation on track Either way doesn't matter to me. The difficulty and network optimizations are what I am most concerned with changing I'd be in favour of keeping the superblocks, lots of people like having the chance of winning big! (Those that don't won't be invested in alts anyway) Everything else sounds great, it should make it much easier to mine, invest in and actually use.

I love rhetorical questions. Why not just post: Hey everybody, please buy Pennies so that I can get rich!

Frozen works with cloud mining, on linux you do exactly the same as if you were mining Quark, except point it towards a Frozen pool. I too like frozen, it was the first quark clone to combat the fast mining and percieved unfair distribution of QRK. I have nothing against molecule, it is a fair coin (though only because someone removed the Devs Pre-mine!) Atom is a premined coin, as is Dime coin. They can advertise lots due to this but they will also be dumped like crazy if they hit cryptsy. I believe Grain is fair, but don't quote me on it.
I have been offline over the last 2 days, so have missed about 9 other Quark clones. If everyone got behind one CPU coin it would fly. Quark seems most likely, but mining is not so profitable not the block rewards are low. Prime coin is good but very difficult too. I personally wouldn't bother with the very Quark coins that offer no innovation, they are just get rich quicks. Someone could make 100 of them tomorrow, actually at this rate they probably will!

i find it aggravating, it's a solid coin but almost last on coinmarketcap. It could and should be up around $2mill but due to a crap client no one can get involved with it. I hope there is a hard fork to make it stable and functional, then when it's back on Cryptsy the often promised projects can get the coins price moving..

lots of talk, little visable action.

Everything is looking great with this coin, the website, lots of miners, fair, no premine etc. It's a shame no exchanges have picked it up.

|

37 billion, he can afford to give away a few million so everyone forgives the pre-mine!

I was balls deep in Spots last night and am considering a hard fork to get rid of that litecoin shit for good and possibly slow down the giant jumps in diff
Now you're talking. Get all the bugs out then it can get to a fair price.

I really hope scrappy deleted his post from 17:39, censoring complaints is BS.

can anyone setup a pool so that I could point the GPU miner at it? solo mining is really taking a while on my cards and I dont want to waste time
I dont think the gpu miner works on pools, unless there is a new one doing the rounds.

For 14 days or 30 days? Will you use escrow or prove you have the funds? Lots of people have been scamming around here recently and this absolutely stinks of being a scam.
|
|

Why isn't it automatic though? Someone should be able to unzip and go... Lots of people will just give up if they download and it doesn't connect, especially when they try add nodes and it isn't a recognised command (for some strange reason!)

For earthcoin and catcoin, it went from being evaluated to added in less than one day. It looks pretty good for frozen being soon/today.

Difficulty is going up again, back over 2000...

A few good pieces of news, yet the price is falling from its already very low level...

Frozen is currently being look into according to their Twitter, so there's that.
Do you have a link to the tweet?

Yeah a lesser exchange should add frozen if cryptsy won't. It's a shame that joke coins, premined coins and instamining coins get added almost immediately but fair coins aren't.

Spots is pretty close to being the most profitable scrypt coin to mine, so I expect miners will be jumping on and difficulty will rise.

I like it. Have you considered trying new alts too? Doge and cat are crazily popular, I am sure people would like the physical coins while they are still hot.
(I wouldnt personally buy doge or cat, Internet memes aren't my thing, I like fundamentals, that's why spots interests me)
Ideally, the plan is to do several other coins, but we will have to see how the Peercoins go. I'm not into the flavor of the month coins. We'll only do coins that are well established. Most likely will start with those in the top 10 market cap These are the type of scratch offs I'm talking about, but they would be circle I'm not big on them either, but "the community" are. They will be the ones that buy the coins too. I reckon Doge, quark and cat would be the biggest sellers now. If any thread readers agree with me, then reply!
