2181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Elon musk launches his own coin? on: May 14, 2021, 05:44:59 PM
What if Elon musk takes this opportunity of popularity and influence to start and launch his own coin to the market?
There is no point in releasing another coin for the sake of releasing something in crypto. If he is having any innovative drive and can develop something which is not yet released then it is a different story.
I do not think he will come out with a coin if there is nothing substantial to offer and I never felt he is serious about the crypto market and I always felt that he is trolling the market with his constant tweets.
2182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: May 14, 2021, 04:08:30 PM
43 years old ex UFC fighter Brandon Vera is fighting with Arjan Bhullar in One Championship main event in May 15 and I couldn't found any website for betting on this fight but Bhullar looks like favorite and has only one defeat so far.
Arjan Bhullar is training in the same gym as Conor McGregor as he posted a picture of him in his social media profile supporting India as well.
Brandon Vera is a veteran but I have not seen his fight for a long time.

Interesting thing is that Dan Hardy started to work with One, and may start to fight again after he was released from UFC.
Hardy last fight in UFC was back in 2012 and he was working as UFC commentator but he is now free agent, and he may see him fight again.
Dan Hardy showed interest to return to fight for the past few years but Dana White was not interested to see him return and when GSP returned Hardy was hoping he could get a final opportunity for the rematch but that was also turned down and now he had his difference with the company he might fight again.
Hardy had a serious medical condition when he was forced to retired not sure the situation now.
2183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 13, 2021, 11:59:30 PM
I am not sure about this. Nowadays, the coach has become a nominal role within the Indian team. Previously it was not so. Damaadji (the coach) manages to hold on to his job by keeping the captain happy. I don't think that he has any other contribution to the team. Kohli doesn't prefer anyone else as the coach, as he don't want to listen to others and undergo rigorous training routines. Perhaps India is the only team which doesn't have a real coach.
So you think that Ravi Shastri is not a good coach and Virat Kohli is not undergoing rigorous training routines, check out historically and i would say this Indian team is the fittest and each and every member spends a lot of time in the gym working out and it is evident in their performance.
Team India is having the best players and the bench strength is really good and historically we never had these talents in abundance.
2184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance is investigated by the IRS - BNB fell sharply today from $660 to $540 on: May 13, 2021, 11:16:43 PM
Keep on unederstimating the US government or other governments around the world.
And this is your explanation for the huge falls in Crypto today - whilst the Cardano network is rising because investors want an alternative.
It is possible that we are experiencing a correction because the Biden government is after Binance and the US justice Department and the IRS are investigating and their rise to the top of the cryptocurrency space also happened in a short period of time and they almost have complete dominance in the market as they are purchasing services that relates to cryptocurrency and when you rise to the top in a short period you are expected to get audited by the government.
Will see how it goes and whether this will change the market forever.
2185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elom Musk is farting, the whole crypto suffocates! Is Elon working with SEC? on: May 13, 2021, 10:39:04 PM
The attitude of Elon Musk seems to be as stupid as can be. Of course some will say that when he manipulates the markets with big announcement like Tesla will accept Bitcoin, then Tesla will temporary stop accepting them, and soon Spacex will accept Bitcoin, this seems like a kid playing in a sandbox with friends.
However, this also enlight how crypto can be manipulated and needs some kind of control from the government.
If you are following the drama related to his market manipulation it is not restricted to the cryptocurrency market, for years he is doing the same in the stock market where some of his tweets will make and some will break the market and it is going on for years and he is aware of his market influence.
I think you are assuming too much here and if he is controlling the Twitter handle he has the power to influence the market and there is nothing that can  be done against that.

What surprised me is that the correction in the BTCitcoin market boosted the stock exchanges which means the money is flowing out from one market to another.
2186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins or Tokens with a good potential like SHIBA INU. on: May 11, 2021, 11:59:28 PM
The entire meme market is booming and was surprising in the past but it looks like all the shit coins in the cryptocurrency market will rally as the investors are looking for coins that can be pumped and so is the reason coins like SHIBA INU are having huge rallies and expect them to be dumped as well.

Here is the list of some of the meme coins that had insane rally in the past week
  • Dogelon Mars which rallied a crazy 1135%
  • Pig Finance rallied 7472.18%
  • Akita Inu 1031 %
  • Australian Safe Shepherd rallied 4252%

2187  Other / Politics & Society / Re: India records another 3,980 convid-19 death in one day on: May 10, 2021, 10:53:25 PM
The surge in convid-19 death in recent days is quite alarming which calls for the distribution and equipments of medical aids from international bodies. The country reported 412,262 new Covid-19 cases and 3,980 deaths on Thursday alone.
Most of the Northern states are under reporting the deaths, the situation is really pathetic than what is displayed to the public and recently they have discorded 40 dead bodies in a lake washed up and it is not a big surprise that these are COVID patients that died and it landed in Bihar but the authorities are reporting that these are bodies from other states that reached them, it is hard to identify the truth and who would do these kind of inhuman activities.

The ground reality is much more pathetic than it is shown in the public, so stay safe and the in capabilities of the authorities will kill you if you are venturing out during this phase.

2189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto analyst who nailed ethereum's climb to $3,400 says $10,000 is next on: May 09, 2021, 08:34:25 PM
It is not that hard to analyse that the price would reach those valuations because the market could pump at any time and sometimes there is no logic about why the rally happened in certain coins. When it comes to ETH the EIP-1559 upgrade that takes place during London hard fork will make a considerable change in the transaction fees structure and that is one of the main reasons why the market is rallying expecting huge changes in the coming months.
2190  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID advanced the world into the future on: May 09, 2021, 07:47:49 PM
If it would have been a zombie apocalypse most of us would have been dead.
People are not following the protocols and there are many devastating outcomes of that.
It is almost like a Zombie apocalypse, anyone in contact with the virus is infected and you have no idea where it comes from and then it depends upon how your body reacts whether you will be surviving the virus affect or succumbing to that.

But when we are talking about the positive effects of COVID. I do think the following can be taken into consideration:
1. Small business are taking over and people are appreciating them more.
If you look at the overall statistics it says the opposite, may small and medium businesses shut their business forever even during the first wave of the virus.

2. People are getting more connected to their families.
Again there are positive and negative aspects of this. There are many differences during this period as well and the amount of divorces cases are steady even during this period.

3. The institutions are realizing that they don't have to call people to work everyday which might be used in the future.
4. The higher institutions are combining the offline and online form of education which might take off a lot of work load from the students.
5. People have time to focus of themselves and change their lives.
I do agree with these three, people now understand what it means by work at home and the multinationals were able to save billions of dollars globally because their workforce are working at their comfort of their homes.
The educations system has also opened their minds about learning from homes and hopefully it will continue giving the option for everyone to choose whether they want to be physically present in school and college or they can be doing their studies online even for primary education.

I would have picked KL Rahul in the place of Shikar Dawan or Prithvi Shaw. Also, Kohli is for skipper.
What are your choices?
Shikar Dawan played really well this season and scored some match winning innings and so does Prithvi Shaw as he was in great touch in the IPL as he is continuing his great form from the Vijay Hazare Trophy. If you want to include Virat Kohli as the captain which i never had an opinion that he is the best captain as he never perform as a captain when things are not going in his way i would replace Sanju Samson as the wicket keeper because ABD can be the wicket keeper and hence replace him with Virat Kohli .
2192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The price of Dodgecoin since 2020 in 34 secs on: May 09, 2021, 04:35:58 PM

Very good thinking, Dogecoin has reached its highest price this May, It will be very risky if you enter at a time of high prices. Regret always happens to people who miss the ship, even including me. Who would be thinking Dogecoin could reach the highest number, but that's the cryptocurrency cycle, prices can change at any time.
No one in the right sense should increase after the price rallied, today the price of Dogecoin had a huge correction because of the comments from Elon Musk and he literally killed the hype he created and i am sure many burned their valuation as many invested in Doge after the hype created by Elon Musk and the price corrected over 25% after his comments today and i think we will see more correction.
2193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 09, 2021, 02:06:15 PM
i would like to see Donald Cerrone winning this bout and i expect Marina Rodriguez and Michelle Waterson going the decision.
Donald Cerrone lost his fight once again and this is his fifth straight loss and it is time he needs to retire from MMA as he had many fights and there is no point in coming back and get a huge beating at 38 years old but in the post fight interview he said he is not going to retire with a loss like this, either Dana White has to step in a say him to stop fighting if not he will keep on going and keep on rising his loss column.
2194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Metromile plans to adopt Bitcoin on: May 08, 2021, 07:01:13 PM
Metromile, Inc., a leading digital insurance platform and pay-per-mile auto insurer, today announced it will soon allow policyholders the option to pay for insurance and receive payment for eligible and approved insured claims in bitcoin or dollars. Metromile will be the first insurance company to both accept premiums and pay claims in cryptocurrency.
It is good to hear when new companies starts adopting BTCitcoin as a payment and then plan on paying them with BTCitcoin if they requested. We will be hearing about more companies adopting cryptocurrency because of the hype and the momentum the entire cryptocurrency market is getting at the moment and it is a good promotion that they will not get even if they spend hundreds of millions for advertisement.
2195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 08, 2021, 05:36:22 PM
But aftre the success of IPL 2020, I guess the BCCI bosses got overconfident. It was the mistake of their lives to schedule IPL 2021 in India. I just hope that they will not repeat this mistake anytime during this year.
It is not the BCCI that was overconfident about the situation but the political system that was overconfident that the situation is under control and if you listened to the boasting of Modi you will understand he was thumping his chest for defeating the virus and he even went on to say that he turned India as the vaccine hub to help the world Roll Eyes. When you have irresponsible leaders like these what is the issue in conducting the tournament under a controlled environment.

PCB also considering hosting remaining PSL games in UAE. They got something 20ish games left in the tourney. Cricket fans are seriously hungry for the some sort of T-20 entertainment so hope its gets the green light asap.
That is the only solution right now and will there be a clash between PSL and IPL if they both plan at the same time to resume the tournament  Grin.
2196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance CEO CZ Defends Binance Smart Chain's Ethereum Copycats on: May 08, 2021, 03:11:24 PM
I expected a similar defense from Binance and CZ when they are called out about copying ETH and creating their version of BSC which is actually centralized and they will claim that they borrowed the technology to make it even better  Cheesy. The audacity to defend the claim by telling that ETH copied the blockchain from BTCitcoin is priceless  Cheesy.

I am skeptical about Binance trying to take control over the entire market as it is not a good sign that a single company is trying to have a monopoly on the entire cryptocurrency market.
2197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH sheep, buy now? on: May 07, 2021, 11:47:30 PM
I'm looking at the ETH graph and I'm unsure if I should buy now. But its at an all time high, and I was taught to buy low sell high. I really don't want to be a sheep, but what if the price keeps going up? Should I just wait for it to go down and just buy the dip?
ETH is one of the biggest gainers this rally and i never expected the price to reach above $3k let alone it is breaking multiple resistance with ease and i will not dare to enter the market when it has already rallied a lot. I will rather wait for the market correction to invest in any coin as i am not too confident to invest in any coin at this price range.
2198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mixing your Bitcoin might become illegal in the future on: May 07, 2021, 10:43:01 PM
Do you think there's a possibility this will happen in the future? If not, why? What do you think will happen once mixers (both custodial and non-custodial) are banned by the government? Will this force people to use privacy coins more thoroughly? Or will everything remain the same?
It is not a huge surprise that the government will ban any services that would help in maintaining your privacy and mixing services are a target for a long time and some of the BTCitcoin mixers were either forced to shut down (Bestmixer) and some ceased their operation due to fear of retaliation by the government (BitMixer) and we know about cases where the mixers were fined huge amounts (Helix, Coin Ninja).

So it is not a big surprise that  BTCitcoin or any mixing would become illegal in the future and they might even force the exchanges to reject mixed coins and that is the case with privacy coins as well, when legalization kicks in they will force the exchanges to remove privacy coins from their exchanges and we have already seen that initiative in some the exchanges registered in the US.
2199  Other / Off-topic / Re: Slapping Tournament on: May 07, 2021, 04:04:46 PM
For others, this tournament is pretty brutal for them but UFC, Wrestling, and other martial arts sports are pretty brutal as well.
There is a major difference between martial arts and other sporting events and these kind of slapping and punching tournaments which is available in Youtube, in normal competition everyone has the opportunity to defend themselves and hitting in the head without giving any option to defend themselves should not be considered as sports and the most brutal one is bare knuckle fight as you need to have some nerves to watch those fights and i do consider it as the most brutal form of competition as all the fights becomes graphic for the faint of hearts.

I have the same question, Is there any betting site catering to this kind of event/sport?
I do not think any betting site will accept these events as these events does not have a sanctioning authority and usually conducted as fun events streamed directly to Youtube.
2200  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigeria will overtake India in P2P on: May 06, 2021, 11:40:24 PM
Nigeria do not have a small population neither. I get that India is probably either the most populated nation in the world or second, it is a head to head between them and china, however Nigeria also has 200 million people as well. That is not something small to handle and that is a big deal. I do not know the laws in both nations very well, I can't speak on what is the situation in neither but I think if Nigeria went full p2p they could overtake any nation and be at the head, as far as I know India hasn't totally banned crypto payments just yet.
There is no ban in India but some of the banks are rejecting cryptocurrency payments, some of the exchanges were forced to change their banking accounts recently and ICICI bank recently started to reject cryptocurrency transactions and if that happens people will turn to P2P trading and India does have 1.4 billion population and billions in daily trading volume and if everyone shifts their focus on P2P trading because of the uncertainty from banks even though there are no ban right now the volume will explode.
