Besides that, some bad decisions from the govt like forbidding tp importation of fertilizer to produce organic foods create food shortages in the country. Mostly covid and govt is to blame for this current situation in Sri Lanka.

Note: Neputism is very common in srilanka and most of the important ministry is occupied by brother and relatives of current PM.
The countries that are suffering economically did not just happen just because of the pandemic, it played a part but the most important aspect is the constant bad decisions by the government for several years that have taken them to a situation where they want to depend upon other countries to restructure their loans, in the case of Sri Lanka, they have taken huge loans from China and if China decides they can restructure their loan. Inflation has caught up big time and we understand that Sri Lanka is struggling really bad at this moment.

Muhammad hasnain bowling action was test in Pakistan and found illegitimate but Pakistan don't have capacity to check bowling actions of its domestic players and that hurting them badly. Once you are in international cricket and reported its become very difficult to go back and start from scratch.
This happened in February when Mohammad Hasnain was playing in the BBL when his bowling action was reported by the umpires and the test took place in Lahore also found that he is flexing beyond 15 degree. I have seen his clips and i do not see that he was bending the elbow but bio mechanics test conducted says that he is flexing beyond that.

Good thing is that the PCB has appointed someone to rectify his bowling action and i wish to see him make a great comeback.
1263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: FURY vs WHYTE - CONFIRMED on: April 21, 2022, 10:54:53 PM
I know Fury has said he's retiring, and for those that are taking that serious, it might just be a plan to try, and make the above happen, since we've all wanted that fight.
He probably will not retire until he unifies the belts and becomes undisputed heavyweight champion and defends the belts at least once.
You never know what kind of decisions Tyson Fury is going to take, he once ended his career after becoming the champion after defeating Wladimir Klitschko who was dominating the boxing world for decades and Tyson Fury was an underdog coming into the fight and he dominated and became the champion and then he retired for good and when a person like that says he is retiring after the fight against Dillian Whyte i do not think that he is bluffing unless he feels he needs to prove something else.

I can't understand how a country that is practically closed and undeveloped like North Korea has a team of hackers who are very good at computer security
North Korea is a secretive country but that does not mean everyone is a puppet without any education. We were hearing about state sponsored hacking team for decades and now we have solid evidence that majority of the hacks was done by North Korean hackers and we are able to pin point only because they hacked cryptocurrencies where they are not able to delete the logs and the money trail will follow them. There are numerous hacks in the banking network for decades without any concrete evidence.

There was fair chance for CSK to win this match, but sadly Jordan last two overs give them this defeat, and now they are still at 9th spot after facing five defeats in six matches which is surely a terrible performance from them in this season with change of captaincy is also having not good impact on them.
It was a really close match and i thought Chennai Super Kings was a few runs short with the way they were going and ended up at 169 runs. Jordan who is a really experienced bowler was taken apart by Rashid Khan which was incredible and i did not expect him to bat like that even though i have seen in perform with the bat and if not for Jordan there was no one else to bowl those two over.

1266  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach its all-time high? on: April 17, 2022, 07:55:44 PM
Classically, a new ATH at bicoin happened after the halving. The last halving was in 2020, the new ATH happened in 2021. If this logic is followed, the next peak could be seen in 2025 after the halving in 2024. Right now it does not look like we will see a high price any time soon. I would wait a few years.
That is a fair assessment and even i am not expecting any all time high valuation this year and i will be surprised if we will be able to break the current resistance level with ease and more forward to an all time high valuation. What i really think is that the market will be trading in a range bound and the institutional investors will be booking their profit whenever there is a rally and expect for another all time high valuation after the next halving.

I don't understand why icc is crazy to include GCC into cricket despite knowing the fact that there is zero interest of cricket in native citizens. Now in current match between PNG and Oman, Oman is dominating as PNG need 130 runs in 13 overs with only 4 wikcets in hands. PNG has 100% locals but still at bottom of table.
If you really want to know the real reason, they have the resources and they have the infrastructure and countries like UAE,  Saudi Arabia and Oman are willing to spend money to increase the infrastructure and make the game more popular why would ICC get between them and say no on spending money on improving the game and moreover the ICC headquarters is in the UAE with literally no tax levied on them.

I really have to be honest that I don't find too many people in the top few countries having bowling action problems. I really can't remember when I heard about an Australian bowler or an England bowler having problems with their actions. obviously, I can be wrong but I honestly cannot remember. and we all know how ICC is towards the countries that are paying them better money.
There is a reason for that, if you are found to have a suspected bowling action you will not be selected to play in first class matches let alone play for the country and hence you wont be able to see anyone with suspected action. I do accept that Mohammad Hasnain who is declared illegal recently, i did not personally seen any issue with the bowling action after watching some of his spells and yet to see his delivery that is deemed illegal.

Also, Gujarat keeps delivering twist after twist. I never expected them to get so close to the target after 2/2. Rashid and Miller are turning up the heat. Exciting!
Rashid Khan is batting as if he is possessed and clearing the boundary with ease, he does have a strong forearm and wrist with the ease with which he is clearing the boundary, this is an expectational performance from Rashid Khan in the IPL with his bat but i have seen him bat in other franchise .

Oh Rashid Khan lost his wicket. Gujarat Titans just needs 13 runs in 7 balls and with David Miller still in the crease i think they can win this match.

Edit:
Gujarat Titans won the match with one ball left.

Regarding the captain thing, it’s really a fact.
But at the same time feeling sad for Rohit.
In yesterday’s match there was 40-50 runs extra through mis field. The commentators were even saying the same thing about MI.
And guess what for this mis field they cost the game.
It is true that they had butter fingers in the field and missed fielded many runs and their entire performance was not up to the standard we used to see him in the past as everyone is struggling in the field with bat and ball.

This time MI team doesn’t have a good balance. Like everyone i am also waiting for the next season, where Jofra Archer will join with Bumrah and they both will become the deadly duo.
They should have retained Trent Boult to open the bowling along with Jasprit Bumrah and it was one of the best bowling pair in the IPL as long as they played together and they did not retain him which was a stupid move.

~
So does it mean that there is something wrong with the captaincy or does it mean that it's absolutely the management's fault?
To be honest I really think it's a bit of both but I think the management is the main culprit here. The team needed a lot better players and players with a lot more potential rather than the players that they have got right now, and they did not get those players, that's why they are suffering right now.
The other thing is if actually the coach and the captain had some say while the team was being decided I think it is also their fault. It is undeniable that the result it is just reflecting that.
May be the extra pressure, i was just making an observation i saw, when Kohli was the Indian captain he was not doing well as a captain in the IPL even when they had the best team available and now Rohit Sharma is the Indian captain and he is struggling as a captain in the IPL.

Utility and of course the People behind the project(the Team) because aside from everything it is their work that will bring the project into success
So look at the team instead of everything mate
.
Team is important and the way they are able to respond to queries is paramount. I know projects that will not respond to basic queries for a while and if you see projects taking time, then it is time to move on rather than expecting them to change.

to OP? just Buy the ranking coins because that will save you from completely losing .
This is not a benchmark you can choose because the ranking keeps on changing, projects with a real use case should be your pick rather than speculative projects and you will understand if they are able to deliver things in time or at least have a valid reason for the delay.
1272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we entering the era of CBDCs? on: April 17, 2022, 01:20:38 PM
If every country trying to introduce its own CBDC(Central Bank Digital Currency) it means these countries are finally understanding the power of Blockchain technology. And this will be the future of tomorrow's world.
Finally government understands how to control the finance of everyone using them with the help of blockchain technology and have a much better grip on the financial transactions of every individual. I will stay away from CBDC for most part and i am sure they will have the ability to freeze certain transactions and even your funds.

But I personally think about it with the specifications of Blockchain and Cryptography, as these are anonymous, decentralized, and open-source technologies, and if CBDC gets introduced then it may against the specifications of the Blockchain and Cryptography technology. As CBDC will be completely centralized, and even in control of the government. So it will be more complicated for users to access CBDC globally due to inflation, and the price.
It is decentralized but not anonymous, there is no complication in using them but valuation changes according to the forex market.

Only harbhajan was top bowler reported and miraculously he corrected his bowling others bowlers were not of world class. While players from Pakistan continue to face this illegal bowling action ban like saeed ajmal, Muhammad hafeez and latest is Muhammad hasnain.
They will monitor their on field performance once they are reported even after rectification and if they continue to bowl the same way they will get another opportunity to fix them and if they continue the same way they will get banned. Saeed Ajmal got the same opportunities and he did not rectify them and hence banned and same with Hafeez.

Ashwin do deserve mention in this list. In early his career he also faced similar charges but this fucker is engineer so he came up with the so called ridiculous solution. He started wearing freaking full sleeves to avoid any unnecessary attention in start of his career, i am not making this shit up as these are actually his own words. No wonder everyone hates his mf ethical mind.

PS : Big fan of Ashwin.
Was not aware of this, in his youtube channel he talks openly about things he faced and share everything and may be he shared this in his youtube channel. Even with full sleeves now it is easy to identify with all the cameras available  Cheesy.
1274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 17, 2022, 09:29:18 AM
Really you want to replace Rohit from captain?
A match is won by team’s effort, not on a single player.
And don’t forget people like you were cheering for him when he won 5 titles of IPL.
Looks like the captaincy curse, Virat Kohli was the Indian captain for a long time and he never won an IPL title and now RCB might win a title but he is no longer the captain and when he won 5 IPL titles he was not the India captain and now he is not able to produce that magic nor even able to win a game for them  Cheesy.

The ones who need to blame here is the MI management for not selecting potential players for the team.
Let’s all hope now, this season is not for Mumbai Indians.
Hoping next time Rohit will score a good innings without some pressure.
Sure the management has to be blamed but the captain and the coach has the ability to choose the team during the auction and they failed and hence they are struggling.

The ADA was called as the new comers coin, new traders got huge profit from it.It’s my opinion towards ADA.Buying of ADA is based on your wish after the huge investigation about the coin.
So what you are trying to tell, that ADA will become the new speculators attraction where investors will pump money in them and thereby increase in valuation just for the sake of speculation or are you telling it will be having any potential use case like Ethereum had in the initial stages where everyone thought it is the solution for scaling issues Cheesy.

There are other EVM capable projects that are used right now and i am yet to see a project using ADA.

Am speechless. They are getting close to bidding farewell to the playoffs at this rate. This is the first time that I expected them to win which screwed me. Looks like Teo was the only one who predicted successfully.

Weird thing here is that 2 players didn't vote which is why they were assigned the default pick which turned out to be Lucknow. How? Majority selected Mumbai. Superbru is broken.
Everyone expected Mumbai Indians to win this match considering they dominated the IPL for majority of the time and now they failed to win a match after playing 6 matches and no one would predict that kind of result and if anyone could predict that they could make a lot of money Cheesy.
With performance like this there is no way they will win a match.

Mumbai Indians have lost the match by 18 runs. Dewald Brevis has played well again today, but he got out at 31 runs by playing 13 balls. Mumbai would have won the match if he played for a long. Anyway, this is the 6th consecutive loss for Mumbai in this season. Only 8 matches left now for them. The chance is almost zero for Mumbai to qualify for the next round of this season.
There were many theories online how Mumbai Indians would come from behind and get in the play offs and i expected Rohit Sharma to stay in the crease for a much longer time and then start to throw his bat around but he is really struggling with his form and Dewald Brevis played a good cameo but he holed out to a good catch as he struck the ball really hard.

No idea whether Mumbai Indians can register a win in this tournament  Cheesy.
1278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 15, 2022, 10:24:27 PM
I'm aware of the story behind it all, but I haven't watched that specific documentary, did his team know about the eye? I'm surprised if they would openly admit to that, since you'd like to think there would be certain ramifications to allowing a fighter, with one eye to fight, and therefore endangering him.
Michael Bisping said these things in his own podcast or during the Joe Rogan Podcast about how many fights he fought with one eye and how he was able to bypass the doctors test, he said they were using the old method of measuring the vision with fixed alphabets and he would memorize the patterns and if the doctor checks him up close and he usually gets the help from his team and he said the testing was absurd as hell and hence he passed them all  Cheesy

I can tell you now, if I lost a eye in the UFC I would never step back in.
With both eyes it is difficult to be in a fight let alone in the UFC and then becoming the champion. He is a tough SOB Cheesy.
1279  Economy / Economics / Re: Thailand ban using crypto for payments on: April 15, 2022, 09:33:51 PM
~
Well said. History has taught us that it's not possible to ban BTC and other popular cryptocurrencies completely which is why many world governments gave up and decided to stick to regulating them instead which is the next best alternative for them.

Thailand will do the same in the near future in my opinion. Until then, their citizens can rely on P2P platforms like LocalBitcoins etc.
If there is a collective effort by the governments from US, Europe and Asia then they could restrict the market by controlling or restricting the exchanges in the country. Then their main line of target will be the miners, mostly located in large mining farms and how hard it is to identify these miners with large mining farms and if they want they can really stop them. So hypothetical it is possible to ban the usage even with regulation what happens if they impose huge tax on every transaction like India did recently.

Pakistan has a flare for cricket. And its played in every street and grounds and youngster idealize cricketers alot. PSL itself was very big success but by the time Rameen Raja has joined the PCB team has performed better and they have gained confidence as well. Pakistani team cannot afford defeat since they know there is so much emotions attached with the game.
Look at all the Asian Cricket playing countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka and you will see youngsters and seniors playing in villages or in cities where they could play the match but the trick is to identify talents from even the remote villages and right now India is doing that and hence seeing more talents than they used to see in the past and if the rest of the countries starts doing that, they will see the changes.
