2181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin can't be banned on: April 26, 2019, 10:15:41 AM
Reading this made my day. I mean I know that this is not possible and the people posting about this are really scared of it. I even remember someone posting about it that if their country banned Bitcoin, they will be getting out of that country and live somewhere else where Bitcoin is already regulated and accepted, it might a sarcasm but it is really funny remembering that after reading this post.
2182  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin went from $5420 to $5117 in 2 minutes! Bubble? on: April 26, 2019, 04:24:17 AM
When the price of Bitcoin falls, it is the best opportunity for us to own it at this time. Smart people take advantage of falling prices to buy more and sell when the price increases. Good luck!

It may be the best time to buy but for the people that are starting to panic, we should not always deduct a bad thing to a certain price decrease since we all know how volatile our investments are. Bitcoin and most of the crypto currencies are usually volatile.
2183  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin be worthless? on: April 21, 2019, 09:41:46 PM
At this rate and adoptation, seriously? I don't even think about it. That's too far to happen and nearly impossible. It will never go back in worthless because of widely spread adoptation. Even a 3-digit price is almost impossible to see again the how come it will go back to nothing. Btc has done and survived such scenario already.
although bitcoin price go down again it will never be worthless.bitcoin technology was breakthrough in new payment system.and also its not only about currency but bitcoin technology about effectiveness in every system.and also much institution developt and trying adopted bitcoin.

The bitcoin repeats its pump and dump cycle but you can never say that bitcoin will be dead or of no value. This can never happen as we can see the future monetary system being controlled by bitcoin.

It might happen though I am not saying that it will, but still evev if the chances are low, the possibility is there. Also, don't say thay the future monetary system will be controlled by Bitcoin since we all know that the government will not accept a volatile and decentralized crypto currency, if that happens though, the whales can control countries and economies, you don't want that.
2184  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Beat Banks? on: April 21, 2019, 04:14:20 PM
Yes. Bitcoin will be beat the bank. Coming future bank will be change the digital process. So bitcoin use all country for digital transaction. It help to future saving and growth.

And how can Bitcoin beat banks? How will we compare these two so we can say that Banks lost to BTC? It is true that in the future, it will all be a digital currency transaction being used but I don't think that will be Bitcoin or any other crypto currencies in circulation these days. It might be that certain country's fiat.
2185  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: April 21, 2019, 02:10:08 PM
Crypto must have a role from the government, I mean the government must support legalizing crypto and encourage people to use crypto. The role of the government here will be very large and very influential.

Well in our country, Bitcoin is legalized and they are supporting Bitcoin and crypto currencies. The problem here is that Bitcoin is still a new technology for some of the people here and they are scared of it because of the news of people getting scammed because of it. Yes it is true that they should know better but the thing is that, first impression is a very important. Whenever you say BTC, they will always relate it to scams.
2186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some unique advantages of online gambling ? on: April 21, 2019, 01:29:50 PM
Keeping your identity private is probably possible only with blockchain gambling. I doubt if centralized gambling have a way of preventing governments from attacking them in any way

What do you mean by attacking them? Some gambling sites can't protect your information anymore, or what we actually call anonymity since there are gambling sites or casinos that need KYC. I know that it is important information we are giving and I know they are taking good care of it but there is always a chance that a hacker is lurking around looking at these pieces of information we are giving. I guess it is just really efficient for us not going outside to gambling, we can just sit in front of our computer.
2187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does convince people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea? on: April 21, 2019, 11:38:16 AM
Convincing people to enjoy gambling is not a wrong idea, it does help them, however if we say gambling the main reason why people are gambling is because they want to win money and not to lose.
It helps them to lose money. Trying to convince them to enjoy gambling is not good at all, you should try to explain them why gambling is bad idea, why house always wins and other bad things which come from gambling (addiction, sickness, family trouble).

Well, there are a lot of other things you can spend your money on and gambling should never be one of them unless you own a gambling site or a casino and you spend your money there via maintenance and upgrades. Gambling is a good way to entertain yourself as long as you know what you are doing, it will be really bad for someone that can't afford gambling get addicted to it.
2188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could be used to pay for Bills, load and for travel in the Philippines on: April 21, 2019, 10:49:30 AM
According to some information published in online newspapers, you can pay most of the costs in this country. Now that the Philippines has installed the first Bitcoin ATM in this country, you can convert Bitcoin into pesos and vice versa. The Philippines is a great country, and this is where we should travel in the future.

Yes, with this exchange wallet if you have Bitcoin to use for travelling in our country you don't need to bother going to banks changing your money or fiat into PHP. Instead, you can just send some BTC to your coins.ph wallet and cash it out on banks and money pickups. It is easier here if most of the tourist spots are accepting Bitcoin, that will be more efficient to tourists that want to spend their BTCs.
2189  Economy / Economics / Re: Things I learned through the years of Buying and Trading Bitcoin on: April 21, 2019, 12:22:54 AM
for me I learned that you need lot of patience for trading bitcoin whatever the trend . and prices of bitcoin can rise again to 18000usd per btc like it can crash under 1000 usd per btc

Well it is a possibilty that it will happrn but I don't think it will sink so low at $1K. Patience is really needed as an investor, it is not a joke since we are dealing with a volatile investment. Bitcoin can go as low as $3K from the price of $8K, if that happens you don't want to sell them so quickly, you need to wait. It is a virtue and it is essential for us investors.
2190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The problem of getting bitcoin in the future on: April 20, 2019, 11:00:39 PM
Bitcoin can go alongside with a country's currency. Since Crypto currency is decentralized, no one has control over it even the government so there will be no problem even though it exist the same way the currency of a country exist. The only problem would be, if government will apply regulation over Bitcoin, they could not control it but certainly they could regulate it.

Well, it is decentralized so the government has no control over it but they can control its legalization in the country. They can ban Bitcoin and other crypto currencies in the country, they have the power over it. I think the only problem Bitcoin has in the future is its price and volatility and also the support from people and the government.
2191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason mining was banned in China on: April 20, 2019, 10:28:30 PM
I don't think China will do it. I mean what will be their aim for that? Efficient transaction? China is a big country and I don't think that changing their fiat into crypto currency will be that easy. Some people might know Bitcoin or how to use it but not all of them will be accepting the fact that easily that they will be using crypto currency as a currency for life.
2192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Versus Traditional Gambling on: April 20, 2019, 10:09:09 PM
On traditional gambling people can play if there is an gambling house but those who has no nearest gambling house they have to waste many more time. But on online gambling we can take part on any time from anywhere we don't need to move to take part on gambling.
Well, that is one of the advantages of online gambling site compare to traditional gambling which consumes a lot of time when you go to the gambling house. I think the majority of the gamblers now must choice on online because it is a convenient time spending. Indeed, traditional gambling now is quite many people did not join on this.

Some people do like the walk or drive to the gambling casino, rather than staying at home and playing the casino games.
Both the online and traditional ways of gambling has their own advantages and i really can't conclude which is better of the two.

Well, that will depend on the gambler himself whether he prefers online gambling or gambling on casinos. There are a lot of gamblers out there and we don't know how they behave or think. Some don't want to go outside so they gambling online though as you said, there are disadvantages and advantages to these two and for me, I prefer gambling in the casinos.
2193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Capital on: April 20, 2019, 09:44:10 PM
I usually use the expected money since it is the money I can gamble because I know I can get that the other month or another week, I mean 15 of the month. I gamble this money because I can't expect unexpected money right off the bat, right? I mean you don't know when will they come since they are unexpected. If I accept an unexpected money, that will go to my savings, obviously because that is what I am doing though it ends up being used in gambling so, I think I don't need to explain that.
2194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling securely and sensibly online on: April 20, 2019, 09:28:37 PM
Online gambling has a different risk which in my opinion will be easier to lose, because whatever you do online will happen with just one click. It is still dangerous if you are not careful and unfocused when placing your money on every bet you make.
You can't say that unfocused and not careful is just dangerous only in online gambling since it will happen too in real life and not just in online gambling. Both have their own pros and cons it is just for the user to choose which is better that will suit them. If you like to gamble anonymously you can choose to gamble online but if you like to gamble with your friends, you can go to any casinos near you.

There are a lot of ways to gamble online with your friends. You can't just say that you want to gamble in the casino because you want to gamble with your friend. I gamble with my friends too but we don't usually do that offline, we do it online. When we do it on the casino, it will not only be a gambling time, it will also be full of liquor and liquor again of course.
2195  Economy / Economics / Re: Who controls the market? on: April 20, 2019, 04:10:18 PM
I'm not sure that everything is decentralized. I think that big players can influence the market very much. And indicate the direction of the price.

They can actually but there are a lot of other investors in the market and even if they have a small amount, with a lot of them maybe selling and investing, it can also affect the price of Bitcoin and other crypto currencies. If I will be answering the question, who controls the market? That would be us investors.
2196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could be used to pay for Bills, load and for travel in the Philippines on: April 20, 2019, 03:34:53 PM
I’m with you in this OP. I’m also from the Philippines and sometimes I also use bitcoin to pay for some bills when I’m short on fiat. I’m using coins.ph for my Philippines account and I’m using Bittreo for my international transfers.
Not many exchange sites provide that service that can pay bills, load and for travel with cryptocurrency. I think it's very good for crypto users. In my country, the exchange site is just a trading place, to pay for these fees, we can only use third party services.

Well, it is really great having these exchange wallets in our country. We can even transact our BTC to our saving account in banks here in our country though the banks will receive it as a fiat and not a BTC but it is fine since it is free of charge. No fees being paid to them. The only fee I know in coins.ph is converting BTC to PHP and other things like load and buying money for steam wallet and other gaming platforms. Some money pickups also require fees.
2197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not about ''get rich fast'' !! on: April 19, 2019, 11:53:10 PM
Here in crypto world we can do what we wanted to do. Beginners should understand that this is not all about the value of bitcoin and its future value. They must see the great idea of it and how can it help to many people in the future. Especially when fiat money totally crashed.

Bitcoin is a decentralized crypto currency unlike the Fiat so I think there is a low possibility that Fiat crashes. I don't even think that the government let this happen to their currencies right? It will greatly affect their country. Bitcoin has a great amount of price unlike fiat the reason a lot of people are hoping they will get rich faster when they invested here, what they did not know is that despite it's high price, it is so volatile.
2198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest Crime in cryptocurrency on: April 19, 2019, 11:13:14 PM
It might be the Mt. gox. I mean it don't just made a history on the book of crypto currencies, since it is the biggest decline of price of Bitcoin in the books it also left a big impression and realization to people. We can take care of our Bitcoin and other crypto currencies we just need the knowledge and it can be acquired, we have the internet, if you don't like it we have the books.
2199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you gamble? Please voice your opinion! on: April 19, 2019, 08:41:12 PM
How can I say this. Well, I want to earn money through it but I am not that desperate use to be rich because it is close to impossible. I am addicted to gambling in the past and I thought I can do it, but happily I stopped my addiction after a year and a half. I still gamble but it is like a part time to me where in I put my money, I bet and just let it there for a while. If I feel it again I bet again.
2200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Strategy to overcome losses .. on: April 19, 2019, 08:16:16 PM
For me I do consider it as a strat but sometimes when things get unexpectedly awful I would likely to take a long break to ease my mind off, sometimes I watch videos on youtube to relieve my stress and sometimes I study the game more to overcome my losses and make a comeback, simple as that and it is indeed effective.
Agreed, myself used to follow the same strategy. From my personal experience when when you get into the winning streak you'll get more wins and less fails. Same when you start with a losing streak, the same continues. To avoid this I prefer a long break which will get us back into gambling providing with good wins.

That don't usually happen you know. Most of the time, gamblers tend to stick in playing even if they have a great profit and a great chance to stop playing but they insists to continue playing and end up losing. Resting doesn't change anything if you are playing luck based games, if that will be skill based, I guess I can say you really need to rest.
