1701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs. Donaire WBSS Bantamweight Final on: November 08, 2019, 11:10:35 PM
I think this fight is amazing and as said by the other posts, well-matched fight. Donaire fought hard with this great boxer, and I don't think that knockdown is the only reason Inoue won, there are other factors too. The score of one of the judges is 117-109, maybe he looked at the knockdown while the other judge's scores are not that distant, Donaire did well.
1702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How BIG will the crypto market be if China legit cryptos? on: November 08, 2019, 02:14:39 PM
I don't think we should even talk about this since, despite the ban, I am sure a lot of Chinese still use crypto currency but not in the way that they will be caught since we all know bitcoin is decentralized. There is a difference when they unban it but I don't think it will still the same as now.
1703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If everyone in the world owned bitcoin each would have 0.003btc on: November 05, 2019, 11:18:11 PM
I think if that is the case, bitcoin is always used and since a lot of them had it, then there is a big chance that the price of bitcoin is so expensive, it makes the price nowadays so cheap. And that is the reason why I think we don't need to look at the denomination if that even happens, we should look at the value of it and I think that is so expensive since all of the people would be using it.
1704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A rising number of Americans own crypto and nearly 13 million women says study.. on: November 04, 2019, 02:42:53 PM
I think this is normal since, with a lot of technologies out there and the internet being mainstream, bitcoin will always be introduced to anyone increasing the awareness of them about these currencies. Though there are a lot of them there are still those big population that don't want any part of this and they even call crypto currencies scam.
1705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Capacity to Kill Bitcoin! on: November 04, 2019, 10:19:57 AM
- New people discovering Bitcoin - fear, and greed

Well, people would be really interested in bitcoin on how they would be earning money by investing in it. In the past years, they are not believing how many people are earning a lot of money because of it and they decided late to board the ship. What they should be fearing is their greed since with the volatility of bitcoin, that could be their dead end.

- How to not get caught up in the day to day Bitcoin price movements

I think this is patience and experience since it is really hard to cope up with the sudden changes. I will not be denying it but I am one of those people that immediately regret investing quickly on bitcoin, I should've known better.

- A world denominated in Bitcoin

If this is a thing of the future, I think the internet also dominated the world. With almost public information all over the world, people would really need a secure way of holding their money and I guess that is where bitcoin and blockchain goes in.
1706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is difficult to accept in countries on: November 02, 2019, 11:24:42 PM
Because Bitcoin is anonymous, Bitcoin cannot be controlled by anyone, Because the price of bitcoin is volitile, Because it is too risky to invest here because of the threat of hackers and more, which prevents bitcoin from being recognized as one of the most beautiful inventions of this era.

From all of the things you've said, I guess the accurate one why it is difficult for countries to accept it is the fact that it is decentralized. No one controls means the government will be having a hard time supporting it. We don't need to talk about investment here since the acceptability of bitcoin circulates to it being decentralized.
1707  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is not that good as currency? on: November 02, 2019, 10:46:09 PM
Grin Good, for people who do like Bitcoin and he has a lot of money and is not good for people who have no money to buy bitcoins  Sad. Bitcoin is an asset or can also be a saving and I am very happy to play, invest, trade Bitcoin and Altcoins Cool

It is really bad for someone to invest in something and they can't afford it. That would really bring them down but for me, the bad thing about bitcoin is that it is a decentralized crypto currency. Despite the big pumps and big profits, they are getting. Even if it faster to transact than other currencies, it will still be decentralized and that means it would never be a currency.
1708  Economy / Economics / Re: You Can Now Keep Your Bitcoins In A Bank on: November 02, 2019, 05:06:23 PM
I also not preffer to hold bitcoin on bank, i don't have any reason to do, i hold my coins on hardware wallet for over 1 year and i don't have any problem, is better to hold bitcoin on wallet where you have private keys.

Obviously. Despite bitcoin being one of the most secure program of this world, if you do not know how to take care of it, that is useless. A lot of hot wallets are hacked nowadays that is the reason most of the people nowadays use cold wallets to store their bitcoins and other crypto currencies. Keeping your bitcoins in the bank just destroy the reason of crypto currencies, it is decentralized and we don't need other people to keep it for us since we can do that part ourselves.
1709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If You Win Big Will You Remember Your Losses on: November 02, 2019, 03:18:20 PM
Even if one day we win a large sum of money, we still cannot forget our losses. And this is not surprising. In the end, our losses and gains - this is what gambling gives us.

To be honest, we can forget our losses when we win big money. Some even thought that their past losses are done and they get all it back with that win but what they did not know is the losses they have are far greater than they can imagine. Also, I don't think we have those gains since most of the time, we are losing a lot of money in gambling.
1710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: November 02, 2019, 02:56:59 PM
Yes, they are looking really good. I think they are surely in the top 5 favourites going into MDL Chengdu Major in November. Waiting to see some other teams with new lineups how they will preform.

Some fans are saying that they won the tournament since there are no tier one players but I disagree since they really proved that they can be tier 1. Congratulations to TNC and their new Teammates. BTW,  I am excited to an Astralis taken down by MIBR facing NaVi.I don't know what is happening but it seems NaVi can face Astralis now with Guardian in their arsenal.
1711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to restrain yourself at a small loss and not spend money. on: November 02, 2019, 04:30:28 AM
Greed, most of the time that is the shortest answer. Some say because of efficiency since earning money in gambling is not that hard but the thing is that it is not that easy to get a profit, it is just easy to do it. Discipline is the first answer to the problem. Self-control is another thing but I just hope all you people can afford the money you are gambling.
1712  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020? on: November 01, 2019, 02:00:23 PM
A lot of people are saying these but there are a lot of people that are not really interested in using it despite them knowing what is it. They just say things like it is amazing, that it is the future but in reality, they use it since it is profitable. There's nothing in it but profit that keeps them on using it.
1713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how i can protect offline wallet ? on: October 20, 2019, 12:13:22 PM
Did he click any suspicious links? Any suspicious emails or messages? I am also wondering if that happened while he was chatting or it might be happening for a while now and you just noticed today? I don't really know what happens but one thing is for sure, you need to secure not only your wallet but also your PC as well.
1714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cryptocurrency is better than fiat currency? on: October 20, 2019, 01:56:21 AM
Corruption factor could give positive for bitcoin where many country will adopt bitcoin with transparent payment sending system, using bitcoin we know how public can access with looking for on bitcoin transaction history, public now where and how much bitcoin sending from one wallet to other wallet, fiat currencies look hidden for every payment proof and look not transparent for using as payment system for sending or receiving money.

It is true that there are a lot of good things that will happen if crypto currency is our fiat but I don't think that will ever happen, ever. Bitcoin and crypto currencies are digital currencies, they are volatile and there is no way that governments will not be controlling fiat in their country. We all know that if that will happen, whales will be controlling the value of currencies, just imagine a whale controlling a country's economy.
1715  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is not that good as currency? on: October 20, 2019, 12:05:56 AM
For me the reality is Bitcoin cannot be a currency just for the fact that people using it are after the gains ,having profit as a top reason.
But i guess that is just for now ,Bitcoin will undergo phases to be accepted as a currency in the future.

I don't think it will be considered in the future but for sure, it will be the basis of what the future's currency look like. The future is going straight to digital currencies and we all know that bitcoin will not just sit in the sideway, it will be in the top and not as a currency but with the same position as it is right now but with massive users and high price.
1716  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy on: October 19, 2019, 11:25:21 PM
It is necessary to make certain proposals on how Bitcoin can help the economy, and not just speak for or against.  The fact that we have the opportunity to improve our financial condition does not mean that the state will be able to correctly use the opportunities of cryptocurrency to improve its economy and replenish the budget.

Many people say that if we use the bitcoin in their economy that would help the country. I think there should be a plan on it on how can it will help the country's economic position. Only making bitcoin legal will not help the economy.

I don't even know how bitcoin will be helping these countries with economic trouble. I don't understand how would bitcoin do that. In our case, we can earn a profit in our investments since we are investing in. In terms of other people, there are a lot of them that don't prefer using those that is why I don't think it would of help in that certain country.
1717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crowded Casinos - Play or not? on: October 19, 2019, 10:25:57 PM
I hate playing at a crowded casino with 1001+ distractions, and where I have to push in between gamblers to place a bet on the Roulette table. I don't mind being there if I'm not playing and am just walking around observing the games. Crowded casinos are also a safety hazard because it's hard to tell if someone is watching you and might follow you and rob you in the car park afterwards.

I don't think of these people like that. I've been in a lot of gambling places before with massive gamblers and I never had a problem like that despite people losing a lot of money. The only problem with these crowdy gambling places is that sometimes, with a lot of people you face and know, you might be controlled by emotion since you could see a lot of people having fun, there are drinks and you will also have fun, and know some friends but just at that night.
1718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: October 19, 2019, 02:35:53 PM
That is a good point. Gambling, as we all know, is very uncertain and you are right when you said that even when you have skills, there is still no guarantee that you would win. It would be a better idea if our money would be allocated on investment which we can monitor and we can do something about, somehow.

Well, we can't really control the drive of these gamblers to not gamble. It is hard to stop them from gambling since let's be honest, even though we can stop 1 or 2, there will still be a lot of people out there that will be addicted to gambling. It is true that we are risking our money into gambling, there are no secrets to it, so I hope we are all just enjoying it. For me, winning money is the bonus of it.
1719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: October 19, 2019, 01:07:05 AM
With that streak I think I will be following this thread for a while now. Hope this continues. Been finding good tips for CSGO and Dota and this really gave a good timing.
