1721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will Be 1M$ if all countries Ban it on: October 18, 2019, 10:09:20 PM
I remembered some posts in the pasts where bitcoin can't be really banned but the OP stated that if the "whole world" banned it so I think there will be no demand here. No investors, that means no price. No price means no demand, and even if this will be sold in the black market, what for? It has no value and since no one will be using bitcoin, that would just be as a collection.
1722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymity VS tracing transactions. on: October 18, 2019, 03:35:33 PM
if I would definitely choose who to discuss user privacy because in bitcoin itself we really need privacy and security like using a bitcoin wallet then with privacy maybe our bitcoin cannot be stolen or used by people who are not responsible, while differences in currencies fiat and digital currency, fiat currency is the currency that is controlled by the government and the central bank while the digital currency is the only currency decentralized by the blockchain.
Confidentiality and anonymity will not be widely used in the future in the cryptocurrency market. I think that on the contrary, 90% will be only visible transactions in the field of cryptocurrencies.

How can you say that? In the future, we will be dealing with pieces of information straight out of the internet. Blockchain will be a great asset in that future since we will be able to be anonymous in the world that will be full of stalkers, scammers, hackers and maybe a group of people will emerge and will be only recognized in that new era.
1723  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC- When it back to 20k on: October 18, 2019, 02:38:14 PM
It's hard to assume when it will be back at $20K, but by the end of 2020 a lot of things could change. If you are not in emergency situation, I would suggest keeping them at least for a year longer. Also think about investing in other currencies, maybe trading, etc. It's hard to talk from this point of view, but stay strong fella!

Trading is hard if you are new to it. With the volatility of these crypto currencies, it is hard to keep up. Better hold your bitcoins for now and if you have money to spare, maybe you can do some small tradings too so you will be able to experience that cruel market. At least you will be having an idea of how great it is to trade.
1724  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: People Empowerment on: October 18, 2019, 01:22:28 PM

Bitcoin controls people as people control Bitcoin. Funny but that appears to be true to a certain extent. It is actually both, Bitcoin must be appreciated the way it is and the way it should be, but most are still stuck to appreciating Bitcoin as a source of money. But this will eventually change as they mature in the Bitcoin world. They might sooner see the real message of the project. Bitcoin is multi-faceted after all.

I think it will stay the same as long as it is a decentralized crypto currency. Mature? A lot of people are mature here and we all know that we are all being practical. Using bitcoin to what it can give efficiency to us while also earning profits while the price increases. People will not change, they might mature but people will still abuse the profitability of crypto currencies especially bitcoin.
1725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If Gambling Doesn't Ever Exist, What Will You Be Doing Right Now? on: October 17, 2019, 10:27:04 PM
For me, gambling is something that you put anything into it, it will be at risk. Our lives are full of risks every single day so if gambling is not really a thing, let's say it does not exist. I guess we will be living in a world full of carefree people. Since we are not really thinking that something is at risk, that there is no gamble in life, there will be a lot of happy-go-lucky type of person in this world. Just imagine how bad that is. It might look like a fairy-tale world with no worries at all and we all know that it is impossible to happen in our world.
1726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to be profitable in sports betting? on: October 17, 2019, 12:15:51 AM
If you want to make a profit from sports betting then I will suggest you focus on one game. Suppose you like  Cricket match.  Then you need to see all of the match happen in real life. You need to know which player can play so well. Then try to bet with yourself. Finally, start gambling use your experience to make your winning chance higher.
Most of the successful gamblers do focus on one game and that is the reason that they always win the betting in that specific game, But I will admire those gamblers who are all-rounder means to say that they must know the tricks of betting in many different sports and those are the Best Gamblers because they can make profit on any betting.

I think if you really are a fan of the sport, you will never have a hard time betting on these teams. When it comes to those all-rounder gamblers, I guess they do not do it by themselves, they might have some help or tips from the bookmakers.
1727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin moving on the pathway of Gold on: October 16, 2019, 02:33:26 PM
I am disagreeing a lot of statements that say bitcoin is the next gold but seeing this chart really amazes and surprises me. I might consider what may happen but I don't think we should also think that bitcoin will be the next gold. It is not that I am close-minded about this, it is just that we all know that cryptocurrency, an intangible digital currency like bitcoin will never be the same as Gold.

they are very different, let us say, people have their bitcoins and gold with them, the main difference is that, many people accumulate many bitcoins and it becomes much more valuable, while with gold, the value doesn't depends on the number of people using it, but to the number of years it takes for its value to increase based on their common characteristics which is the less they become, the more they cost in the market.

That's what I said. The reason I said cryptocurrency since we all know the price depends on the demand for it. I think you misunderstood my statement. I did say they are different.

1729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What needs to happen in order for bitcoin to replace gold on: October 15, 2019, 11:34:08 AM
Ok. So let's say bitcoin did replace Gold and now we are having a price dump. If we will all be replacing gold reserves to "bitcoin" reserves, then it will all be falling down. Another thing, it can still be manipulated by a whale, and since bitcoin replacing gold is a big thing, we are not just talking about "whale" but "whales".
1730  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat currencies on: October 14, 2019, 11:59:22 PM
Dollar would always be the most dominant fiat currency there is. Price is not always the best support for this statement. USD is the most used currency in the trading market, whatever market we are talking about, USD is there.
1731  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC- When it back to 20k on: October 14, 2019, 11:42:20 PM
A lot of people would say that buying at peak is bad but we never know when that would ever happen since we can't really identify a peak in this volatile market. It is unfortunate that your time of investing matches that price but I think all you can do now is wait. If you are confident of your trading skills, you can also do that. Despite your losses, if you know how to move your money, you will be able to get a profit slowly that can even get back your loss. But the best for now is to be patient, good things come by for those who wait.
1732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: October 14, 2019, 11:26:37 PM
Another one? We are looking at another Ricky Hatton if this will ever happpen. Even if I don't know this boxer, if you will all be referring him as a kid, then I can certainly say he is the next Hatton Manny Pacquiao fought. We are looking at 2-4 rounds at maximum though I will never expect this fight to happen.
1733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling risk is higher when we are on Bear Market? on: October 11, 2019, 10:57:36 PM
If I happen to be John I will hold some bitcoin because the price might just rise again but if I happen to need money urgently and have to resort to gambling I would bet on low risk why?  Because am not a fan of high risk gambling

Can give us some example? Usually bitcoin is used with high risk gambling games like dice. It is true that there sports betting but if you will be that scared od betting it on high risk, better save it and trade it with other crypto currency. This low risk may not be as scary as high risks but those games would eat you alive really slow.
1734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to be profitable in sports betting? on: October 11, 2019, 03:58:32 PM
Because despite the fact that you are still betting on it using your money, you can't really say that you will be able to win since it has a risk and having a risk means that you are gambling.
1735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If You Win Big Will You Remember Your Losses on: October 06, 2019, 10:56:24 PM
At least when a win big can recover all previous losses and add some profit. It's useless when winning doesn't count how much money has been lost, it's the same as losing.

Recover all previous losses? Add some profit? I don't think it is that easy. There are many gamblers that lost in gambling and winning once just can't recover your losses. If that is just how it works a lot of gamblers would just gamble all over again not worrying about the losses they can get.
1736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: October 06, 2019, 01:18:20 PM
~snip
~
I'm a Warriors fan for a long time already but to be honest, I don't see them to reach the NBA Finals anymore with their current roster. They're more focused on the offensive rather than the defensive. Just my opinion.
Warriors seems confident that they were able to replace Iguodala and even Livingston's defensive capabilities.

I know that they are no longer the favorite and I also doubt that they can reach Western conf. finals even if they have Klay but I still want to see what their young squad can do. It was only a few years ago when Steph was dubbed as the baby face assasin there. Now, he is the oldest in their roster.

I know that this is just the pre-season but I think GSW will not be really a big of a deal this season, unlike the recent one. Steph is still great, I mean 18 minutes in the court with 18 points,3 rebs, and 2 assts, that is just amazing. But as a whole, they are not that scary as a team. We don't know still, it is just a prediction and I might be wrong.
1737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice - A small mistake emptied my wallet. on: October 06, 2019, 01:53:02 AM
Oh no. Sorry for that loss, that is really hard not only because you lost but because it is a mistake you've done. You know, that thing that you just think you had a time machine so you could just do thing right you did wrong. Never experienced this mistake but I think the worst I made is wasting my money in the past in this thing.
1738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: October 05, 2019, 11:35:57 AM
It depends on the person. Why did I say that. It is for the reason that if you are a short tempered person, then obviously it is a mistake for you. Investing in bitcoin requires patience, all succesful people here have waited for years, even their frustrations pile up, they still hodl. Look where are they know.

It is true that as an investor, you should be really patient. But if you are just patient and no nothing of what will happen and what might happen, you might just wait until you want to but you should also earn yourself knowledge about what you are investing in. A lot of people made mistakes and they really regret that and that is when people would be blaming bitcoin, they will be saying that investing in bitcoin is a huge waste of time and it is a mistake putting your money in there since it gave them a huge loss but it is not bitcoin's fault but his.
1739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Cryptocurrency? on: October 04, 2019, 01:10:01 AM
I read that bitcoin wasn't the first cryptocurrency in this business. There were other alternative coins that were created and established to serve a particular purpose. However, they all failed and are not in existence anymore. So for now, I can say bitcoin has been the first to stand and survive for quite a long time now.
absolutely right, because bitcoin is a decentralized currency and is the mother of every crypto. and everyone believes in bitcoin and becomes a decentralized payment tool that makes it easy for every businessman to make transactions. for me bitcoin is the first currency that has survived until now

We can't say that it is the mother, maybe Blockchain technology is the mother since it is the reason why there are a lot of crypto currencies nowadays. Bitcoin is the most popular since it is the crypto itself, without its technology, it will be included in many other failed digital currencies made in the past. Another thing is that it did not survive, it dominated the market.
1740  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen to banks? on: October 03, 2019, 10:46:36 PM
Banks are the worst place to go in aspect of putting your money because once you put your money in the bank then you are losing the value of your money because of the very low interest and with the inflation, it will just be eaten by the inflation rate. It is indeed good to just put your money in cryptocurrencies since they have a higher yield of opportunity for your money to grow.

Not all people would be putting all of their money into crypto currencies. We are all aware of how volatile these are, and you should have a place or a way to keep your money safe, and you can't always do that on your own. I am talking about the money you will be needing in the future, the one you are saving, some would say that they invested it in crypto but I didn't. I saved that into my bank account, not because I am hoping that it will be giving me profit but because accidents and emergencies don't pick a time, they are unpredictable and inevitable.
