1661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: December 26, 2019, 02:20:28 PM
Since i started to invest my money in cryptocurrency and i knew about crypto casino. It will be better if i just used my cryptocurrency in playing gambling because i can used all of winnings as an investment. I know it will be a risk if i will gamble them, but it will be good if i gain all of my crypto in gambling.

It is a great risk and it is not good to earn your money in gambling. Not because it is bad money but because you tend to usually lose your money. Hoping that you could even earn a good money in gambling will already make you lose.
1662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much Money You Need To Win To Stop gambling, Is This Possible. on: December 26, 2019, 12:10:55 PM
I think if you gamble it is not to really win money ... so even if you have a good amount you will continue to play just to have fun.
After if the question is "how much money are you gonna save and gamble after just for fun". I will say 50k$, it's a good number IMO

It is not a good amount but I think if I had that money, I would not be using it for gambling. I am not rich but I reached that amount that I lost in gambling. The regret I had is too much, I am just lucky to have my partner in life to support and stop my addiction. For me, there is no amount that can stop someone from gambling because even though they are winning a huge amount, they will still go back hoping that they could win again.
1663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is This Why Bitcoin Suddenly Rebounded Yesterday? on: December 22, 2019, 02:57:07 PM
I agree that this has no connection with the price at all. As an investor if the price falls down, we find a great timing to invest and seeing the price at $6K is enough to reinvest and maybe that is the reason the price rebounded.
1664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fate of Scammers if bitcoin later becomes a traceable Currency. on: December 22, 2019, 02:33:23 PM
I don't know what will I do if that happens. I mean I am with you if you want to expose scammers and maybe also hackers and criminals but bitcoin being traceable as a whole will be the worst for me since I will be having second thoughts on using it. Since to be honest you can follow transactions of your friends just by knowing its address but if you know who can recieve it and things like that, that is a different thing.
1665  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of banking industry in blockchain on: December 21, 2019, 10:25:07 PM
The banking sector does not want to play those games where they do not know the rules. And blockchain with cryptocurrencies is such a field of the game. If the government makes laws in favor of digital assets, then both business and banks will be able to more boldly introduce new technologies

Well, they can still use the blockchain technology without favoring it. It is a technology that I don't think everyone will just let it pass. This will develop the banking system and some say other crypto currencies might not stay the same as its technology. I don't know what might happen but all I can see is that blockchain being used not only in crypto currencies but also in other things.
1666  Economy / Economics / Re: Crimes involving crypto have risen on: December 21, 2019, 09:23:03 PM
Currently, fraudulent crimes involving cryptocurrency are on the rise. Cybercriminals are developing new and more sophisticated ways to upset money flow. In 2019, the total amount of damage related to cryptocurrency scams and theft has risen to $ 4.4 billion. You are investing in digital money beware of scams. Protect your money with solid Bitcoin wallets.

I think this is all on us users. I mean if we are really careful, we can avoid these hackers, these scammers, right? They are finding holes so they can get our money, if we don't show that I don't think we should be an easy target for them. The problem here is that as time passes, they have new ways to scam people so we need to educate ourselves about them.
1667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: December 19, 2019, 12:28:29 PM
I would say "LUCK". To test my luck I gamble once in a while, its not fun for me to lose money so I cant do it much but once in a while when I see signals in real life, I try to gamble on it and won more times than losing. Gambling is really addictive and people fall for it head on heels if they win some at the early phase.

Well, most of us initially bet for the same reason, to try our luck for a short period of time and see how it goes, but sooner or later, it turns into a huge addiction of repetitive gambling. I hope you will be able to stay away from the addiction part as you explore Smiley

Not all of those gamblers can be addicted to gambling, I knew a lot of people like that. They want to gamble, not just to test their luck but to have fun and hope that they can win but they are not that addicted or desperate to go back. They get upset with their loss, but they can realize that they are gambling and going back there won't help at all.
1668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will the Milwaukee Bucks Make history? on: December 17, 2019, 11:59:18 PM
Their streak is ended, it is kind of sad but I think that is fine. They can break another record as far as I know GS is holding it right now, which is in the lowest this season, hope Steph is fine though. I don't care how many records this break, as long as Giannis can prove that he can step up, I am so fine with that, and as far as I know he's looking forward to a team that I think stopped their run when he's playing with Greece.
1669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it good to talk about big gains? on: December 15, 2019, 12:39:50 AM
I prefer not talk about big gains if it still did not recover the total amount that you have lose in gambling (except winning jackpot I think). The point you have explained are already enough not to talk or brag about your big winnings or gains just to get yourself to trouble which is not good.

I do too. Despite me having fun or being excited to talk about my profits or gains in gambling, I would end up being sad since I would be also talking about big events that still gave me huge losses and how upsetting that is. I prefer not to talk about it but sometimes there are those time that I can't help it.
1670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you learn as a gambler? on: December 15, 2019, 12:01:07 AM
I learned that despite what you do, your loved ones will never, I mean ever let you suffer alone. I am so thankful that I have a partner in life where she accepts me as what I am and despite the addiction I have, she continues to love me and even helped me to take myself out of my addiction.
1671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decisions for a better life on: December 14, 2019, 11:25:26 PM
Most answers will be family despite them being addicted to gambling and just take for granted everything. I did experienced getting addicted to gambling and it is the worst. You will never see other importance of money but to take an adveture and risk it all in your bet. You lose, you just take it back next time. You went home and rest, go to your job and go back. That is not how you enjoy living.
1672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are underutilizing Bitcoin on: December 14, 2019, 10:46:34 PM
Because most of the people see bitcoin as something related to stocks. They don't focus on the purpose of it and the technology behind it. And I think it sucks because bitcoin is more than an investment that you can hold on for years and wait for it to grow while you are dreaming of a big house. May the government allow it to be used on things such as payments.

We can just use exchanges if they are not in favor of it. Government do not like these things to start with and even if they accepted it, it will also based on the people if they want to use it. In our country, crypto currencies are not actually banned but here in our place, I don't see anyone using it so exchanges is my partner here.
1673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You don't want Bitcoin, You don't want Future :-\ on: December 14, 2019, 02:54:34 PM
Your some points are effective about Bitcoin but I believe that there are more things to come in upcoming future maybe we see a true competitor of Bitcoin or more than one. Future is infinite we can only expect nothing much.

Bitcoin is been circulating the internet for a while now and if you look closely, there are a lot of other crypto currency that can compete with bitcoin in terms of their features. The only thing here is thay investors are scared because of the scams and most of them really want to use bitcoin.
1674  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin volatility here to stay? on: December 14, 2019, 12:46:15 PM
The price of the bitcoin today is still volatile. Still, the price of the coin is not good enough unlike before because the price from nine thousand dollars it falls for over seven thousand dollars still this is profitable and also a good investment or to buy coins because if the currency goes up your investment will rise too, and that is profitable,  but it takes a long time before you get income, to avoid this kind of scenario, it is better to make an alternative income like use an altcoin to earn profit daily and also try to invest to bitcoin because it has a low market price and use this as an advantage to earn for your long term trading.

You could say that is not enough but in my case, it gave me a lot. From a three-digit to 5, that is amazing. I know that is a long time now but it will never leave my memory how mind-blown I am at that time. Volatility might be a bad thing for others but for me, that gives the thrill. No one knows what might happen and if you think positively, the price can reach or maybe exceed the moon.
1675  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin volatility here to stay? on: December 14, 2019, 11:54:27 AM
Yeah if we want to earn from crypto we will have to invest in right time and sell at the right time but never panic. It's really important to learn about the right time to buy and to hold. If you will hold your coin it will give you profit that’s why I am trying to hold my bitcoin as much as possible. Having bitcoin in your savings is more than blessings for me.

This may seem to favor you but not all of us are like that. The first time I knew bitcoin, I started holding some and it did not go well. I am impatient that is why I failed. As you said, if you want to earn from it, better hold it as much as you can. We don't know what future holds so to ensure our profit, we hold and we keep on doing that as long as it is in the place where we don't have any profit.
1676  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency? on: December 14, 2019, 11:07:34 AM
I don’t think so there is any state where internet is available is unaware of bitcoin or crypto currencies on the whole. Governments will try to launch their own cryptos in order to have control over blockchain technology and collect taxes easily from people. No matter how many cryptos get launched bitcoin is not going to lose its importance at all. It will keep acting as king of cryptos because of its decentralized nature.

They will obviously run their own crypto currencies but I don't think that is to control the blockchain technology. They want to adopt the technology and the use of crypto currency so they can make the transactions easier or more efficient. We can't stop them from, well wanting to tax people out of their profits since that is how we know government.
1677  Economy / Economics / Re: Can online platforms like Youtube and Facebook really be decentralized? on: December 12, 2019, 12:53:02 PM
I can't imagine these platforms being decentralized. YouTube, for example, is focussing on their greatest and biggest content creators which is why they are earning a lot of money. If no one will be able to control the algorithm, I think it will be more chaotic for smaller content creators and that would totally destroy that platform.
1678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of your money only needed for gambling and others is for family on: December 12, 2019, 11:36:50 AM
Well, this is the worst. My wife is the reason why I stopped gambling my money instead of saving for our future. In the past, I am so addicted to gambling but with her help, I did stop my addiction. I am still gambling but I am not that addicted, I can stop myself. Here's the thing, if you can't stop gambling, just think of the future of your family. You have your loved ones in your responsibility, you should take care of them and if you can't then you are the worst, they don't deserve you. If someone will be asking me how much should be I putting my family, I would say all of it but I would be lying that even some of it will not go to myself since it will be.
1679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider gambling to be a "fun activity"? on: December 11, 2019, 10:45:26 PM
Correct me if i'm wrong but this is not about feeling after lost $100 or $1000 because if you starting gambling with those amount then your gambling purpose is clear how to earn money from gambling but different side to those who gambling for fun because usually if people want to starting gambling for fun then they will used low money or free money because if they lost it then they can ignore their losses

A gambler who uses "free money" to gamble has to do it in moderation too. It could be considered a waste of time to spend most of your time getting lots bonuses or free coins and ending up gambling with most of them in a short time with little/no profit.

If we are talking about bonuses on deposits, then for me that is no different, that is a waste of time for me. In the past I enjoy gambling but I did not gamble online, I'm usually addicted to cockfighting and usual Filipino card games. I'm sober from gambling for maybe a week now and reading this makes me want to bet some to pass time.
1680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can never be a means of making money. on: December 07, 2019, 11:56:39 PM
Of course it is not. But for some who already make gambling as their lifestyle especially those sportbettors, gambling is their means to survive. But great percentage of gamblers should not make gambling as a source of income. Because it will just jeopardize their life if they will rely on gambling. So much has been said already so I guess gamblers already know the setback on this game.

Well, these sport bettors, owners of casinos and other people that involve gambling in their life can't just not "rely" on gambling. Their lives rely on gambling, but I don't include the gamblers but the owners of casinos. A lot of gamblers know what will happen but still, they continue to do what they want and it can't be stopped. If they really care about themselves, they know when to stop.
