1321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble right after coronavirus outbreaks? on: March 22, 2020, 01:24:03 PM
After lockdown or quarantine or after this virus ends, will you go to casino places immediately or will you wait for some days before going?

In my case, I wouldn't be focussing on gambling since there will be a lot of catching up that we will be doing after all of this. I think I will wait for weeks, maybe months since I will be really busy calculating grades since there are a lot of students not completing the requirements needed. I might still continue gambling online though, not on casinos but just gambling online.
1322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CS:GO and Betting on: March 22, 2020, 12:32:27 PM
Why did they cancel the DOTA event when it is being played online ?  The coronavirus has no effect on online games and they should not
be called off. We already have very less sports left and if online sporting event get cancelled, then there will be left no entertainment with respect to sports.

This depends. As far as I know, majors and minors are usually done on LAN. It doesn't mean that a game is an online game, it also means that it would be played by the team at their team houses or certain places. They are invited to attend these events in different countries, they are also affected badly by this pandemic. Dota2 has a charity event online now though for the pandemic.
1323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's price, and mental health. on: March 22, 2020, 12:50:11 AM
The price of bitcoin directly depends on the mental health of investors. And in such cases of panic , the price of course falls.

I think you are confused here, mate. We have something we call the supply and demand. As the supply is small, the demand increases and that is somewhat the basis of the price of bitcoin. Panic is not new in this market but it is one of the reasons why the price also falls especially when there are those people that spread FUDs.
1324  Economy / Economics / Re: At which price will loose Bitcoin the dominance in the Crypto Market? on: March 21, 2020, 10:59:24 PM
In my own personal opinion, it is impossible for bitcoin to lose it's dominance because a lot of people are putting most of their money in bitcoin than altcoins and a lot of people are depending on bitcoin, so if bitcoin will have a chance to lose it's value definitely every cryptocurrency in the market will also lose it's value.
Bitcoin will sooner or later lose its price dominance in the cryptocurrency market. Everything related to technology will never stand still. Everything that stops in development goes into oblivion. Cryptocurrency will develop and its development will erase sharp edges in price and other differences.

It is losing its dominance but not the price. Bitcoin will always be the dominating crypto currency in terms of hf its price, there will be no debate about that. For 10 years, there is no other crypto that surpassed bitcoin in terms of its price. Bitcoin may lose its value in the future, but as long as there are people wanting to use it, it will never die.
1325  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc going to 2k or 3k or 7k or 9k on: March 21, 2020, 10:17:29 PM
I think you should wait a little longer. The price now reached $6.1k. I think it might reach as high as $7K since we already saw the price rose up to $6.6K. You should just be patient for now, you might wait, I don't know 1-2 months before it falls again.
It is hard to tell if the price would go down again below $6K since it is showing a good sign of recovering.
Halving is also coming soon so the price could get a little higher sooner or later.

I think it would not even drop at this point before the halving happens. The price is stable at $6.1K, it goes up at $6.2K but it doesn't go lower or higher than that for a while now. That dump is an opportunity for the people to get in again, a chance for them to ride the wave but a lot of people missed it thinking it would still fall now look at the price.
1326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19: Avoid casino, play online on: March 21, 2020, 09:59:18 PM
indeed, to many people is not taking this virus seriously, especially young people that are not that affected with it, there are parties in the night, and that is the real threat of fast spreading in the country, we should obey the rules and it will calm down after a while

So true. People are secretly having a gathering and that would really increase the chance of the virus to be passed on making it harder for the government to contain it. And that would also mean longer quarantine and longer time that we would not be able to play at casinos. I mean, why are we even breaking the policies being made by the government at these times just to have a gathering, it is for our own safety. I also want to go to casinos or places where I can gamble, not just my house.
1327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here succeeded a friend to play online gambling now that casino are close on: March 21, 2020, 09:09:04 PM
I think even before the pandemic happened, I am asking a lot of my co-teachers to paly, not invite but kind of joking at them about it and they don't like to do it though they gambled offline with me one time. They kind of visit me here, they just did the last day and we play card games with a small amount of bet, what do you expect.
1328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19: Avoid casino, play online on: March 21, 2020, 03:05:10 PM
Let us help each and everyone, by simply obeying our authority by staying at home, do not go outside. Let us start stopping the virus, it will all start with ourself.

That is so true. It will really all start at ourselves. We should not break the policies of the government right now since that could make all of this more complicated. We should not push ourselves to gamble, it is also for our own safety and for our family too. I think we should just find an alternative to gamble like online casinos.
1329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Doomed ? on: March 21, 2020, 02:14:32 PM
Bitcoin is still not dead (c) Pomp
I believe that everything will recover in the future. Keep halving in mind

Who said it that bitcoin is dead? The price of it just dropped and that doesn't mean that it is the death of it. Bitcoin will always recover and the price chart if the live proof of it. If people would be tracking the prices in the past, they would be able to see the price changes that happened where they think bitcoin is dead but it just recovered proving they are wrong.
1330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bitcoins is helping during the lockdown on: March 21, 2020, 01:02:53 PM
No jobs , no schools , no small businesses , nothing.

Here's the thing about jobs/work and school at this lockdown. Teachers are pushed by the government to find a way of teaching online. We are suffering to do that since not all of my students have access to the internet. It is really hard, and they would say that as a teacher we should find a way to teach our students, I do and teaching them how to take care of themselves right now, it is more important.

I do introduced him with the idea of bitcoins , how he can with some investment try buying , I even told him how he can earn a little through the campaigns , since something is better than nothing .

To be honest, I told this to some of the unemployed people I know and they are just happy the first time I talked about it. After that, I am checking their accounts here at the forum and they are not online, they are not even posting. You see, I know that you want to help but it is not that easy to earn money even if you say that it is a little. Okay, let's say he is interested in doing campaigns; will you stay there to teach him at this time? Is it worth it? I am not against it, I experienced this and this taught me that even you have the power to help, there will come a time that you will realize it is not enough. It is heartbreaking but it is life, we need to cope with it.
1331  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: March 21, 2020, 01:14:14 AM
there are still many technological gaps between countries...
Bitcoin won't be able to become a world currency for now because the infrastructure that supports it for use in all countries is inadequate, there are still many people who don't have electricity in various regions.

Well, bitcoin will never be the main currency of the world, I don't think a country would even do that. The obvious reasons are that it is decentralized, government would have a hard time controlling that currency and while we're at it, there is also the volatility and the anonymity it offers. The government are always against this kind of feature, letting their people hide using crypto currency.
1332  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc going to 2k or 3k or 7k or 9k on: March 20, 2020, 11:36:28 PM
I want to see coin prices dump as low as possible, so I can buy more, then make big profits when the price eventually pops way up.

I think you should wait a little longer. The price now reached $6.1k. I think it might reach as high as $7K since we already saw the price rose up to $6.6K. You should just be patient for now, you might wait, I don't know 1-2 months before it falls again.
1333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some casino gambling tips. on: March 20, 2020, 10:43:20 PM
Because of this pandemic virus so why we are recommending player to play only online which is better to do right now for our own safety.

I think they all know this, even the government already ban people going to casinos right now. And I think they are scared of the virus so, despite some addictions, I think it can stop them from gambling.

They have many players and members of this forum are shares also the tips since last few years ago and its good because the people  who this thread who are looking the tips or guide on how to not lose more money or bad happens in gambling can avoid once they follow it. I have my own tips and startegy in gambling and In happy because it is really works to me when Im playing.

It is good that those strategies are working for you since a lot of people already shared a lot of strategies here in the forum, I tried some of them and we can conclude that it is not that easy to win in gambling. We can also conclude that there is no perfect strategy in gambling so if that really works for you, I guess you should hold unto that.
1334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: March 20, 2020, 04:57:08 PM
Day trading activity is unmatched by gambling. In a day of trading you have the opportunity to win and lose according to the strategy used. Gambling allows you to win randomly. Only you choose the best activity that suits you and improve your skills and above all act with caution.

Day Trading and gambling give you two choices, obviously that is winning and losing and that do not depend on the strategy used since the price chart will be the one telling the price changes and not your strategy. As gambling can ruin your balance, day trading is better since you will jsut lost some profit based on the price changes but not all of it.
1335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: March 20, 2020, 03:46:57 PM
Now that almost all sporting events all over the world are cancelled, those wanting bet of sports events are left with having to find alternatives. What are the majority doing?

Still gambling. The pandemic can't really stop gamblers since we people will still find ways to gamble. If people will not be doing physical gamblings, they would be gambling online.

Are some giving up and trying to become reformed gamblers?

It is not that easy. You might be able to contain yourself in your house for a month but that would not stop gamblers from gambling.

Are some gambling on casinos instead?

Right now, no. Casinos are closed because of the pandemic.

What are alternatives most sports betting users are now switching to?

Right now, some esports bets. Doesn't mean sports betting are not available, they will stop on betting. They still do online bettings like poker and maybe other live bettings.
1336  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coronavirus scam email - do not donate bitcoin on: March 20, 2020, 02:53:57 PM
Thanks for sharing the information. With the pandemic happening right now, people are wanting to help other people while these people are taking advantage of those who want to help. I will also share this with some of my friends since they contacted me wanting to help other people using crypto currency, they might fall victim to these scams.
1337  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Price Halving succeed with Currently Situation on: March 20, 2020, 01:42:50 PM
If situiation is going to be worse then halving wont save us

The price is getting better and even if it continuously fell this week, I think halving will still be effective in a way to save the price from falling down. The price immediately rose, a bit surprised that it recovered so easily just after a night. It might still increase now so for the people that already dropped their btcs, you learned your lesson here.
1338  Other / Politics & Society / Re: COVID-19 teaches all of us. on: March 20, 2020, 01:14:39 PM
~snip
You are focussing on the positive but there are a lot of worst negative features of it.

Bro, I'm so fed up with this negative effects of the pandemic since we can read it here in the forum, hear it on the news, I think it is great that we know some positive effects of it in a way that it will lighten up our mood though it is really hard to save money right now since we are all hungry so easily even if we are just in the house all day long.
1339  Economy / Economics / Re: I think I Found The Reason For Bitcoin's Latest Crash on: March 20, 2020, 12:06:39 AM
I think Corona virus make bitcoin and altcoin crash with lower price, I think when fist time China announce to public with this virus many investor are panic and sell bitcoin with higher amount, today we got how bitcoin dump and crash then need long time for recovering and back to higher price again.

It's told repeatedly that bitcoin and the pandemic that is happening has no correlation at all. Despite the virus, the price even reached $10K and it dropped not directly because of the virus but there are other things that happened. I think this is the reason why bitcoin dropped,
