1581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 22, 2020, 11:43:21 PM
I can't wait to see Zion straight up dominate the NBA this season. I hope he comes on today and kicks it off positively. I think he will hit the ground running and probably score over 10 points in his first game. The pelicans are a lucky team to have this kid on their team, he is an absolute monster. He is going to mark his debut with a win! At least, in my opinion. This guy reminds me of young Lebron tearing it up in his first couple seasons with Cleveland. Maybe, he is even better.

We don't know. A lot of people are pumped up with Zion's debut, they are all waiting for this since the start of the season. We saw some moves in the pre season but after that, nothing. We still can't compare these two players right now since we don't have that much stat to compare to. Either way, Zion is said to be one of that players who play the least games in a season.
1582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win a Presidential plane... on: January 22, 2020, 10:33:35 PM
Well, if you read the article, the government of Mexico needed the money so they are selling the plane. The money they will be getting will be used for the development in their country. As I said, it is not just for the chance of winning the plane but also a chance to help the country. Obviously you did not read the article the OP posted, the president will give the maintenance of the plane for year free. He also thought about those people that might win the plane and don't have the money when it comes to taking care of it. It is true that people can just hog all the lottery tickets but that is not worth it. Even if it is a plane, it is not worth it.
The other guy might be considering it in terms of a "selfish" kind of perspective. I mean, some people wouldn't know what to do with a plane tbh, and if it just sat there doing nothing, even if you got it for a few bucks, it'd still seem to be a waste right? And a year of maintenance, it ain't like you're gonna fly the plane a hundred times per year, so yea. If the Mexican Airport could accept a rent kind of thing with the winner though, it might be much more worth it/helpful.

They even consider the maintenance so I think they can also consider the release of it. If they have a problem like that, they can just sell that immediately. $10M to $20M, no problem since they got it at $25. Don't you think that that is a huge profit, right? And why would it be a waste? You got a plane for $25, that could be his fortune, we are all an investor here, think like one.
1583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win a Presidential plane... on: January 22, 2020, 04:07:39 PM
It seems like a worthwhile investment, to spam tickets and hope for the best, but really. Who the hell would even hope to get a plane? I mean, its nice and all once you get it, a sense of satisfaction immediately hits you, but in the end, its a PLANE.  Hell, if you get it, maintenance already takes up a lot of money, and if someone actually wanted to get it, they'd join the raffle instead, since they have the money to buy it from another party, so why bother doing that when you can guarantee a win by buying out the tickets right?

Well, if you read the article, the government of Mexico needed the money so they are selling the plane. The money they will be getting will be used for the development in their country. As I said, it is not just for the chance of winning the plane but also a chance to help the country. I would love to buy a ticket. I read the article and I think it is not that the government of Mexico is wanting to earn money from it, it is just that they needed it. It is not the chance of winning a luxurious presidential airplane but the chance to help the country in a small way. I think the lottery tickets will be sold out because of that.
1585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do cryptocurrencies diversify each other? on: January 22, 2020, 01:56:14 PM
No one knows really how the market moves. It is not always that when bitcoin falls, other crypto currencies will do too. Remember last year when bitcoin is expected to pump but it did not and while bitcoin is falling, the price of ethereum is increasing creating another ATH at that time. They are different and it depends on the user of that crypto currency not bitcoin.
1586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [VIDEO] Bitcoin is a fraud where a gift record is presented as a market item on: January 22, 2020, 12:27:16 PM
very strange if there is someone who hates bitcoin but still likes being in the bitcoin community, Your place should not be here, I'm sure almost every bitcoin holder already knows the benefits and risks when using bitcoin, maybe you are a person injured because of bankruptcy in bitcoin  Grin Cheesy

Well, I've seen a few more people here talking about the bad side of Bitcoin but they are still here in the forum. Looks like they need to be educated since they don't know what they are doing.

Well, let them stay here the way they want it. The more they stay here, the more they will be convincing themselves that they are fooling themselves. There is no perfect program, there is nothing in this world that is perfect, and if bitcoin has a bad side, all of the other things too. The thing here is that the haters always look at its bad side rather than its bright side.
1587  Economy / Economics / Re: Big risk ,big results. on: January 22, 2020, 11:24:12 AM
The very best way to earn a huge amount of profit is to make a risky decision. Because big risk can also give us a big profit. I believe that people on crypto feild always know that crypto is always risky and we know that we need to be more careful.

Well, we can't do anything about volatility, all we can do is to reduce it even in a small way. I can leave a link here I read last week, it may not be that effective for you but, it is worth a try. You can just read it and if you don't like it, it is all on you.

1588  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoin is enough? on: January 21, 2020, 09:47:27 PM
There is no fixed amount.

Exactly. It is natural for a human being to be not satisfied. I say any amount is never enough. We will still want more and more, now it may sound as if mankind is greedy (well it's true for the most part) but at the same time, it's hard to stop especially if it helps us in our daily lives.

We are human, we are subjected to have this sins because of the original sin that is committed. Even if there is a lot, it isnot enough for the freedy. Even if he had everything, it is still not enough. Also, it is not the thing that it can help, even though it can't help, people will not stop.
1589  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC to GOLD on: January 19, 2020, 07:16:19 PM
As the poll question states, in your opinion, is it a good idea to buy (stack) gold?

Feel free to elaborate your answer.
I think it is not yet. In my opinion, gold is very good as an asset commodity and gold rarely gets negative news. But in 2020 this is a good time for bitcoin. So this year is not yet the time to pile up gold.

I would love to buy Gold or maybe a stack of it if I can. These metals especially gold are so popular right now since technologies are always using it, the same as copper and silver. If I can pile up a lot of them, and sold them in the future, that might double up or just give me a good profit. On the other hand, bitcoin also give good profit, it is just that you don't know what might happen.
1590  Economy / Economics / Re: Do Not Blame Bitcoin, No Government Want To Make Its Citizen Millionaire on: January 19, 2020, 06:34:42 PM
So government are not our enemy but we will have to remain determined about our investment

Well, for me, the government is somewhat our enemy even if they accept or legalized crypto currencies. They want to control the system in the country but with crypto currencies, no one controls it since it is decentralized. I think it is legalized in a lot of countries since people can get a profit out of it and we don't know, maybe the government are taking advantage of it too.
1591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: January 19, 2020, 01:46:37 PM
-snip-
I will only wait until Nigma meets another big team like team Secret or Vici Gaming. And only after that game, I will have a better prediction on Nigma.

It looks like that TNC has lost their sparkle after winning a major and they've become a Major Fluke  Grin
Yeah, TNC lost with 2nd and 3rd team.

They really are the kings of best of 1 because they are good with best of 1 matches. But they are still not yet out, let's wait if they can beat Aster later.

Its a bit dissapointing, I know that they have a good spot in the next TI but they still need to prove they are a premium team. The time they won has no a-team in it. This time, it has a lot of good teams and yeah, they're there. This might show that their new coach is not working out.
1592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tricks and tips for esports betting on: January 19, 2020, 12:21:51 PM
ESports is a very wide-ranging issue, and if you want to bet on it then you should choose a game that you fully understand, I have some tips for you and this tip is the core part of what you need to know before you place your bets, when it comes to betting, you should always know what's better and what's the advantage, in eSports you'll never know who's going to win, MOBA games are one kind of game.

"A game that you fully understand". This quote is from fravia, it is what should remember when we are betting in Esports. How are we going to win if we do not fully understand the mechanics of the game? I also betting in Esports but I always making sure that I know what I am doing. Team play and individual skills of the player are also important and we should consider it.

You right , so if we know what game and what team will we bets on its easy
And sometime we have can take a good market odds when machine just predict with underdog match

It is really easy if we really know what we are doing, knowing where we need to put our money. There are some unexpected results, still the possibility is not that high of it happening every time. The first time I bet, it is usually on CSGO matches and there are a lot of upsets at that time, I usually bet on team with higher odds, unless the team I am supporting has the lower odds of winning.
1593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: January 19, 2020, 01:51:23 AM
The bottomline of course of this match is about the money. But yes it is true, McGregor and Pacquiao will give a better fight in the ring as they will really give what they've got. Unlike Mayweather, which is always playing safe, counting technicals and others. And if this will happen, I think boxing fans will still watch this fight with enthusiasm.
Of course! Because I can't see any reasons why they are thinking about this idea except for money Roll Eyes (What's happening in the sports industry nowadays *sigh). But the real question is Manny will agree on the deal? Yeah we all know that he is a "Yes Man" when it comes to any fight but this one is very different thing. I don't think he will not fight a fighter without a pro boxing career just for money.

I think he can think if a reason to fight and at the same time help his people. If this will continue, Manny can look at this fight as an exhibition match and the percentage of his earnings can go to the people who are affected by the eruption of Taal in Batangas in our country. It is for money but it is for the better of his people.
1594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Truth That Will Eventually Kill Bitcoin on: January 18, 2020, 10:28:30 PM
I don't know if this video is made by you or not, I don't know if this is really your purpose but with the years and support bitcoin gathered through years, can we still call it a fraud? There are a lot of people like on the internet and I don't know why do they hate bitcoin so much.
1595  Economy / Economics / Re: Thoughts on the World War 3 and its possible impacts on future? on: January 18, 2020, 09:41:13 PM
To be honest, I am really confused.

It is said that this is Trump's fault, some say it is really Iran's fault and they are really plotting something to America. I don't know what to believe in and I know for sure, winning aside, something is also fueling this war, get it?
Everything is now different actually. Even the delivery of news is on social media and they are trying to spread a fake news. Actually it is impossible for the USA and Iran to have a war. This is not the old days where in you can just start a war. Today is completely different. We have so many things to consider like UN and laws that assures that war cannot be declared in just a snap.

Now, both countries are silent and calm but we don't know what will they do in coming years because they have a lot of issues not only the death of one of their Generals. Although US just killed a certain person but Iran really did something brutal other than that. They shot a Ukrainian plane and it is much worst than the killed General. But if the war continues, it will really destroy a lot of agricultural society that will leave people dying and they can encounter famine.

So who's at fault here? If this will not be a war then someone is bullying someone and that might not spark a war but something that will be passdd and might start in the near future. It is also said by my coteachers that a war is inevitable, it might not happen this year but no one knows, it might start in the near future. I am not asking for any wars, I don't want that but the possibility of it happening, is it that high?
1596  Economy / Economics / Re: Say Goodbye to Banking as We Know It on: January 18, 2020, 08:33:10 PM
Perhaps China will indeed become the first country to launch its own digital national currency. But I think this is not a reason to say that America is lagging behind China in development. In the United States, technological progress is much more versatile. And I think that the leading countries of the world are also able to launch their own digital currencies, if the economic situation requires it.
Having their own crypto or digital currency is not easy to get but I have heard that China is planning for it. Talking about America is not good as crypto is about technology and America is one of the most developed countries so it will bring new revolutions in the crypto world. Bank system is itself involving blockchain in their system so I think both banks and crypto making each other stronger.

The blockchain, yes but I don't think it does with crypto currencies. In some altcoins, maybe since there are a lot of altcoins out there that can be applied by a developed system and if seen very well it might applied to some popular cryptos especially bitcoin. China might lead the change, they're already going into that, I just hope it went well.
1597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: January 18, 2020, 07:51:35 PM
With the easiness of the internet connection, people tend to play gambling in their homes or in any place they like. They feel that they are free to choose the casino, and they don't have to go to the real casino. They found that they can play gambling without any restriction, and with crypto, they don't have to fill KYC like what they did in the real casino.

There is still a restriction and a lot of people doesn't like about it. There are still KYC in other sites, it may be fiat or crypto currency. In terms of not having KYC, online gambling have a limit of deposit and withdraw which is sometimes so annoying, then the fees that is so high sometimes. For me, it is better to gamble with fiat offline though that doesn't have anonimity like cryptos do.
yes some casinos often ask for KYC but you are not bounded to gamble only on those casinos which ask KYC. There are many other casinos which do not ask for KYC and which are also very legit, you can gamble on those sites if you do not want to show your identity and want to gamble. These casinos which do not ask KYC do not have any limit and high deposits for the users.

I doubt that there is a casino without a limit. For example, a site wikl not let you withdraw a certain amount since there are rules for them for a minimum withdraw. If we will be talking about online and offline gamblinf, I prefer offline but it will be bad for me to be seen gambling since I am a teacher so I prefer gambling with cryptos since I have no choice. That is why I talk about the limitations.

1599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can we overcome our gambling addiction! on: January 18, 2020, 12:54:32 PM
Application, willingness and will power is a must if someone wants to overcome gambling addiction.

Easy to say isn't it but if there's no application and there's no action being done, forget about the goal of overcoming the addiction. You actually don't have to quit, you just have to minimize and reduce the exerted time.

No application would happen if the person is not willing for a change.
The saying is correct that is "no man is an island" because without other people an addicted person will not realize his mistake.

We have the plan but we dont have the willingness to put it in action, its like a business plan without implementation.
The help of peers will certainly do.

But there are addicted gamblers that managed to overcome it on their own.

I don't about that since addiction is not that easy. If they can stop it by themselves, I can day thay it is not really an addiction but something like a vice or a past time. If he is really addicted to it, I don't think he can do it in his own. Its been years but I still can't stop gambling, though I can control myself now, I still can't stop gambling.
1600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: January 18, 2020, 11:57:46 AM
He just want to compete for the people he says. I don't know, he just want to fight these big names because he wants the money behind it. I don't say this often but I don't think he would be wanting to face this boxing superstars without the money he will be getting after this. I think it would be better for Manny to have a rematch than fight McGregor. It would be a good match for him before he retires.

I think the fight against McGregor and Pacquiao it takes a long time before will be consider as a good battle because we all know that those sports professional takes a lot of time to conquer on their field even McGregor is good at kickboxing and Pacquiao is good at boxing there is a lot of disadvantage for the kickboxer because one of the most thing use in boxing is the use of the arms. However, still, martial arts is considered in the world of kick boxing. Even we think it is just fair for both parties, nevertheless, it depends on the managers and teams of both teams if they continue the fight. If this may happen, I will go for Pacquiao.

What do you mean? I read an article and if this will be agreed on, the weight will be talked about and if that continues, maybe we will be seeing the fight september or later months. I am just speculating but I don't think Pacquiao will prioritize this fight, maybe he can face other boxers before Connor and Mayweather.
