1681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Games that everybody likes on: December 07, 2019, 11:20:04 PM
In the past, I am betting on cockfighting but after stopping from it, I am now betting on some of the games in esports most commonly Dota2 and CSGO. I think a lot of gamblers are also doing that now since there are a lot of people now that loves esports.
1682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi should be in Time's influnetial person of the decade list on: December 07, 2019, 01:30:12 AM
I think a lot of people would agree to this but I don't think Time Magazine would do too. Despite his influence on this community, he is unknown and no one knows how will they depict Satoshi Nakamoto in that magazine. I guess that makes him not qualified for that. If I would be including him, I guess it would be focussing mainly on the anonymity on the internet.
1683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons to be thankful than hate him on: December 06, 2019, 11:27:59 PM
I don't know if he' receiving any hate lately, all I know is that a lot of people that we don't know hate bitcoin. The proof of it in my case ia not that long ago when this forum just celebrated its anniversary. To post my manipulated photo, I posted it first on imgur where I saw this hate comment about bitcoin. I just shrugged it off since obviously he don't know a thing.
1684  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Vs Cryptocurrency, which would you choose? on: December 06, 2019, 10:19:40 PM
I will not be choosing these two since I am using these for a long time now. We can't solely depend on crypto currencies since there are still a lot of people that do not want to use it or don't know what it is. You can trade crypto currencies and to get out your profit, you convert it to fiat and use it.
1685  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: December 06, 2019, 02:54:14 PM
I completely agree with this, so I think the same. But many people don't understand this. And even when you tell them about it, they still don’t want to listen to you..

What? bitcoin is circulating on the internet for 10 years now and you will agree that it should be spent when it earned its rightful trust? I don't get it. People are earning a lot of money in these crypto currencies, that is not just a handful of people but a lot of people. You are saying that it won't be spent as long as it is trusted, it can be but it should be moderated since we don't know when to get a profit or not.
1686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 30th South East Asian Games on: December 06, 2019, 12:16:57 PM

the results until this day and I'm surprised with Timor Leste.. to date they haven't even gotten one medal, the quality of their athletes is still very poor.

This may be true but I don't think we should judge them. They may not get anything but they are trying, and as an athlete, that is amazing. Passion is what drives them and someone with a passion for what they are doing is unstoppable. Let's not judge and support our country, I am not bragging but I am proud that some of the players are from our province. I am from the Philippines By the way.
1687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can never be a means of making money. on: December 06, 2019, 11:22:44 AM
This is true though but it is been told for a thousand years that gambling will not take everyone to be rich. Yes, some gamblers won their fortune out of gambling but most of them are usually called in our country "biglang-yaman", that refers to people who suddenly got rich. They don't know how to manage their money so they end up spending their money without earning from it. There are somehow knew how to handle their money and raise themselves but not all of us can be that guy.
1688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Satoshi hides his identity? on: November 30, 2019, 03:59:41 PM
Almost every day a new person comes up with the claim that he/she is the real Satoshi. The real satoshi surely does not want any kind of fame. If he/she/they want fame he could have disclosed his identity earlier. But what could be the possible reason that Satoshi still hides his identity? Does he have a big plan for the future?

I think this is a major thing, not just because he has a plan but because he wants it to take longer in this industry. If a lot of people know his identity, I think there are a lot of people that would also try to destroy it through using him. That would also mean, for example, he is a from country x, the government might join the debate and might try to centralize bitcoin.
1689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe satoshi is dead on: November 30, 2019, 03:08:05 PM
I don't know, some of the people here knows but most of us do not know who he is or where he is right now. All we know is that he left us a brilliant invention that we should keep on going since this technology will be revolutionized in the upcoming future. Also, there are a lot of ways to get information about Satoshi and my idea was surrounding the first members of this forum, I think that is a bad idea though since even though some of them talked to him, they do not know who he is.
1690  Economy / Exchanges / Re: another crypto exchange hacked on: November 30, 2019, 02:07:15 PM

Exactly! we have to hold our assets in a secure place ( local wallet ) and we can't trust on exchange's security

This is a warning, a piece of advice for a long time now and people still don't believe in this? Then after these people will again doubt the security of bitcoin and other crypto currencies even if those don't deserve those blame. Exchanges are not really a great place to store your balances, better keep it in a cold storage.
1691  Economy / Economics / Re: Crimes involving crypto have risen on: November 30, 2019, 12:02:51 AM
What made the involvement of cryptocurrency with crimes is that, the anonymity attained from using cryptocurrency secures the disclosure of one's information to its system only. You might ask "What information?" not personal infos, only the time, date and amount that is why it is commonly used to pay for international crimes like smuggling of goods obviously to avoid being caught by the authority. There is nothing for us to do with it since the system was born decentralized. But a middle-man (exchanges) can interfere someone elses action under their hand, they have the right to freeze and investigate when something unusual happen especially when talking about long numbers.

That is right, and that is not the only problem, there are also these scams. But I think these problem is not the fault of the system too but our fault as investors and users. If we have enough knowledge about how things work, we don't need to worry about being scammed or being tricked. We should be really careful since we are dealing with crypto currencies.
1692  Economy / Economics / Re: Crimes involving crypto have risen on: November 29, 2019, 03:06:09 PM
it is true that there have been many crimes involving crypto, criminal acts and terrorism. I think this system must be fixed so that investors continue to believe.

And what is wrong with the system? I don't think there is something wrong or something that needed to be fixed in this system. I don't think the system is the problem, it is the people. Crypto currencies are obviously decentralized, these criminals are "terrorists" are just taking advantage of that, what do you want to be fixed? make it centralized? The problem is the security of these exchanges, not the system.
1693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why are you gambling? on: November 29, 2019, 01:50:42 PM
1.Enjoying- How much money does it go to weekly?

To be honest, I can look at those histories and that will all be painted in red so I don't think I am getting any profit so to minimize the money I am using weekly, I slowly reduce the money I am using.

3.Hope for a win- How much did you earn in one day?

As I said, my history is painted in red so I don't usually earn a profit but I do enjoy and continue to hope that I can still win but I think I am so far from that so I just enjoy the game.
1694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever done to experiment to determine percentage of winning? on: November 29, 2019, 11:07:49 AM
I did experiment every online gambling site I've tried looking if there is a pattern to it. I know that is stupid but hear me out. My friend told me that these online gambling sites have a pattern and so I did try it. The pattern he is talking about is not how the number roll or the result comes, I told him this and he just burst out lauhing, he never told me what is that pattern though.
1695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use betting tips? on: November 20, 2019, 02:09:28 PM
From my personal experience I used, I paid about $ 70 a month, and I got a ticket every 2 days with odds 3-4, I was not satisfied, I guessed poorly (more precisely that tipser), out of 15 tickets, the hits were 7. which is very bad for that odds. I lost a lot on that, so I'm interested in your experience?

Some of the great people here post or share their tips without any payment so there are a lot of members here where you can get an idea where to bet or what to bet. That ends up to you if you will be using that tip or not since for me that is just an idea and it will still be me in the end that will decide whether to follow that bet or no
1696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: November 20, 2019, 12:58:13 PM
I will not accept that offer in the first place despite me playing or gambling for fun. Why? Because obviously, in our country, there are a lot of people that will talk about you all day long not even knowing that what they are saying is not true. Despite me not really addicted to gambling, people will say that I am and I don't want that to happen since I can't stand those kinds of people that feel they know it all but in reality, doesn't know anything at all.
1697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coca cola bottlers use Blockchain on: November 10, 2019, 02:23:35 AM
This is what I am saying. Bitcoin is not the only thing being popular these days but there is also the technology behind it. I am talking about this to my friend and all they know is what bitcoin can do in the future, they don't think that the Blockchain technology will be relevant in those days. That is why I told them that the Blockchain might survive longer than bitcoin. This is just the start, and I know a lot more companies will be using this technology in the future.
1698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Impact on gambling on: November 10, 2019, 01:10:30 AM
Mostly which affect in gambling is lucky. I think gambling is game when you are rely on your skills, and luck. Although have much money, if you not luck with a little percent win,you still can lose if not luck. For me, anything that you do in gambling, if not luck you can't win easily.

It all comes down to your luck. I mean you can still rely on your skill, on your experience but it will all come down in your luck at the end of the day. That is why even if you don't have a skill or any experience, you can still win. That is why we have the term "Beginner's luck", despite you being a gambling beginner, you can still grab a lot of profits.
1699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Break You Have On Not Gambling on: November 09, 2019, 07:31:12 AM
Well, it is really hard to not gamble especially if gambling is a part of your day and it will not be complete without making any bets or gambling related. I think that the longest I have is a week. Since I am not that addicted to gambling anymore, I could make these rest days sometimes, most of the time, I will be breaking that week in 3 days or something.
1700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to restrain yourself at a small loss and not spend money. on: November 09, 2019, 02:41:32 AM
True self control and discipline not to spend much money in gambling. Without discipline within ourselves, we could experience more losses in gambling. Even they understand martingale in playing it needs luck to win the game.

It is not that gambling needs luck but that is the basis of almost all of the gambling games out there. Without this and a sprinkle of skill and experience, I don't think you would be able to win your bets. It is true that there are these strategies like martingale and other strategies being modified, that may win you some games, some profits but I don't think it is that effective most of the time. You want to gamble but don't want to lose your money? Download gambling applications into your mobile phone, you can be a billionaire in those games.
