1481  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold vs. U.S. dollar on: February 14, 2020, 01:16:58 PM
Well, I think that is impossible. As Gold is something that is in use for every single gadget or technology that we are using, it will be so expensive in time. On the other hand, the dollar is under the government, all of the fiats are being controlled by the government so that its value will not be so slow since that can affect their economy largely. Saying that dollar will never outrun gold in terms of its price.
1482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among us here has been addicted but successfully cured addiction? on: February 13, 2020, 11:23:43 PM
I read that there are people who are addicted in gambling but they are successfully cured from addiction, I'm interested to know what are the methods they do in order to get cured from such addiction, I use the word cured because gambling is a serious problem, I call it as a disease, so please share you experience so we can also help those who might have been experiencing an addiction right now.

I think there is no cure but a way to avoid yourself from being addicted. I am addicted in the past but I am still gambling right now. The only difference is that I can control myself, I can stop now but I can't remove gambling out of my life. Some of the professionals that I talked to said that since I can control myself in gambling, I should also control myself from going to these places. I am trying for the past months to stop but it is hard. It is just like an itch that you can't stop.

My partner in life played a big role to cure my addiction. What I am doing is now is nothing to compare to what I am doing in the past. From the experience that I have, you can't really cure addiction that easily, it is been years that I stopped my addiction but until now I am still gambling, just imagine how hard that is.
1483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win a Presidential plane... on: February 13, 2020, 10:49:56 PM
...
This is definitely problematic, if the government wanted to get rid of the plane the raffle made sense, it will be a weird prize but one that is incredibly valuable, but now the plane is not part of the raffle at all, they are going to keep it and while the prizes are good this is very different than what they promised at the beginning, it is not a scam in my eyes but it is definitely a huge change, did they explained why they want to keep the plane?

I agree with you, the totally chance the rules, the prize is totally different from what they promise from the start. They didn't explain why they will keep the plain, but some rumors are saying they get a demand from Boing saying they can't sell or raffle or do something with the plain until they finish the debt with them.

I am confused here, they are wanting to sell it while they have debt because of it, why not just give that plane back? I don't know how these works but his predecessor bought a plane in his pocket or the government's pocket? If he bought it in his own pocket why is he even allowing the government to use it as a  presidential plane if it is his private plane? The president doesn't even want to ride it, he took normal flights.
1484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy for Dice on: February 13, 2020, 09:57:49 PM
Well, the usual here is Martingale though you really need to be careful when you are using that strategy. It is a strategy where you double your bet when you lose, it can get back your losses but as you get a losing streak your bet will be bigger. That means you need a huge balance. A lot of gamblers here modify that strategy, maybe you can do or modify your own martingale.
1485  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries and their own cryptocurrency! on: February 13, 2020, 03:19:17 PM
As far as I know, the printing of money is based on the gold reserve of a country. They will not be printing a lot of money that will exceed the value of the gold reserve of a country. Doing that will also be bad for the country. I think will still use fiat rather than the digital currency that they will be creating, I don't even think that it will be possible in our country.
1486  Economy / Economics / Re: How do manage portfolio efficiently while having a full time job? on: February 13, 2020, 02:48:51 PM
Easy and efficient way to mangae the portfolio is just hold leading potentioal coins,Trade coins for long term with using TP and SL. Long term trade minimize the pressure you just put a trade and look at free time the position of trade.
Day trading is not for who are 9-5 job holders because day time trading need attention and more time to get expected results.

Agree. if you dont have enough time to follow graphs and daily news, it is very risky to make daily tradings. it is better to hold good cryptos instead is the best.

That is the problem in diversifying your portfolio, you might not catch up on the quick changes in the price. I did experience where I am waiting for a price and never thought that it already reached it and the time I checked the price is already getting back to its normal price. If you have a full-time job, better minimize your portfolio to good and popular crypto currencies.
1487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Andrew Yang, a Pro-Bitcoin US Presidential Candidate Drops out of the Race on: February 12, 2020, 10:16:20 PM
it was obvoius that crypto friednly is not enough to win the race

I think that is not a problem, as get Happy code said,

I saw Andrew in two of the debates, he spoke well but didn't seem to have the natural ability to connect well with people.

As a presidential candidate, this is important especially before the election. It is fine but it is also sad since he is a supporter of what we also support, it could be one of the steps to popularize bitcoin and crypto currency more.
1488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Leave gambling, if it destroys you. on: February 12, 2020, 09:04:16 PM
For me, number 2, 6 and 7 should be in one subject. They all focus on your mindset. If you know your intention of gambling you know when to stop, you won't be greedy, you will not be emotional as you can control yourself. Even if your pessimistic or optimistic, if your mindset is just to gamble for fun, you would stay there.
1489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is easier, stop when you are winning or stop when you are losing? on: February 12, 2020, 01:20:38 PM
Do we have the same attitude or not?

In the past, I don't have that but today, win or lose, I can stop myself whenever I wanted too. At that time, I am addicted to gambling, I can't really stop unless my wife told me to. That is why I spend a lot of time with her asking her to stop myself from gambling. That is not enough since there are also a lot of people that talk to me so I can refrain from gambling. It is not an easy process and it really took time, and take note, even though my addiction to it stopped, I still gamble but now I can control myself it is just that I can't stop completely.
1490  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona Virus and The Effect on The Markets on: February 09, 2020, 11:58:46 PM

The Corona virus is spreading and is visible in the financial markets as well as in Bitcoin : https://youtu.be/DZ7Ps70of4I
If this virus takes to long to get a cure and wreck havoc all over the world, all the economy will suffer from this, the market will have an advantage because people will start converting their assets to Bitcoin, because the economy will slow down because of this epidemic that might soon become a pandemic.

Let's not be pessimistic and optimistic at the same time. The price chart is taking a good path but that doesn't mean that it is because of this outbreak. All we know is that the economy is largely affected and that is not just applicable to China but to other countries as well that is exporting and importing goods and other things into a country like Japan.
1491  Economy / Economics / Re: How regulation affects the crypto price on: February 09, 2020, 11:50:51 PM
We can't speculation with bitcoin regulation at the future could give impact for bitcoin raising to higher price or not, we don't know how respond with many people if bitcoin really get regulation from government and how they are interested with bitcoin and altcoin investment because crypto is no guarantee keep going to higher price always.

We can speculate to that. That will decide the future of crypto currencies, it is in the hands of the government whether they want to legalize it or ban it. It will not be into interesting reasons but in the future, if the majority of people are using it, even haters and other people that don't know it will use it.
Of course, a lot of nuances await the cryptocurrency market and cryptocurrency users after the cryptocurrency is legalized.  Of course, many users have a negative attitude towards this, but answering the question about cryptocurrency pricing because of its control, without going into details and not using various technical terms, we can say the following, that for many fraudsters in the cryptocurrency market their activity will end, because  control will be tight and any fraud will be punished by law.  And this is a real fact that will attract more investment in the cryptocurrency market, since today investors are still afraid of fraud.

That I would be worried about. If we will be talking about control, and it's gonna be tight? I would be really worried. One of the reasons I am using crypto currency is the fact that I am free to do what I want from it. Of course, I would be limiting myself from illegal transactions. What I want to say it, I don't want to be controlled by anybody of the government.
1492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What p2p games will you play? on: February 09, 2020, 11:46:33 PM
Maybe some online adventure games where all the things you can loot will be sold to crypto currencies. I know it is kind of hard to develop but I also think popular games such as poker or blackjack would be good too.
1493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: February 09, 2020, 11:31:08 PM
All of them are stylistically good match up for Manny, and I do hope that when Manny chooses his next fight, it will be against this fighters and not Conor. But we will see, if money talks then what can we do?

Well, we never know. But in terms of the fight against Conor, I think Manny would be really interested. It is not that money that talks, Conor likes to talk and we all know that his rival is none other than Mayweather which is also a rival to Manny Pacquiao. He can call out Mayweather after that fight to maybe end up the rivalry at their last fight, the rematch of the two which Manny would be really ready and the people would be so pumped to see.
1494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: February 09, 2020, 10:31:39 PM
Pacquiao vs Conor? This isnt different at all.
This is also considered as one but Pacquiao hasn't made a decision yet.

As far as I know, Team Manny Pacquiao will be choosing from these three fighters; Errol Spence, Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter. Errol Spence is the only boxer that I knew in these boxers since I watched him in an interview where he wanted Manny Pacquiao as his next opponent. That means this will be a fight we will be seeing next year or the next year.
1495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than your bank! on: February 09, 2020, 10:10:24 PM
Bitcoin is known since it is the first crypto currency, the problem though is that it is popular for us but for them, it is not. With the scam all over our country relating to crypto currencies, bitcoin and other cryptos are labeled as a scam by these people that has no idea of what they are talking about. With the creation of bitcoin, a lot of people have their freedom and that is the reason why some take advantage of it. Even with the legalization of crypto currencies in our country, using it is still limited and we have no other choice but to use an exchange to be able to transact it. We are still not paying directly bitcoin since these exchanges convert that into fiat.
1496  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin withdrawal fee is damn high in exchanges! on: February 09, 2020, 02:46:20 PM
Obviously so they can earn their money. I am not sure why but there are these sites where you could choose what kind of transaction you want, whether you want a fast one if you are in a hurry or a slow one that still waits for other transactions to complete. If that is a higher fee, that means that those transactions are fast yet, it is expensive.
1497  Economy / Economics / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON CHINA ECONOMY on: February 09, 2020, 01:25:06 PM
i havent expected that the effect will be this alarming and long. it should be stop as soon as possible and health experts across the region should unite and immediately find the best way to stop this epidemic. even the neigbouring countries are now feeling the impact of this crisis.

Well, Japan is the leading country that helped China. It is not just because as a neighboring country they needed it but also because Japan is also affected by the outbreak. Their economy is somewhat connected to China since they are exporting their items in China. You can read the whole story of this problem in this link
1498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running an online Bitcoin gambling website on: February 09, 2020, 01:24:46 AM
I think talking to a lawyer could really help you. Here in our country, Philippines, as far as I know, online gambking is restricted. Owning one here in our country is an illegal act so better put an exemption to our country. Other countries would be good though, as long as you talk to a lawyer.
Yes they need to consult to the lawyer to know the law to their country if they be able to create a gambling website but Im pretty much sure lawyer wants to have permit but lawyer know how his gambling site will become legit. Im from Philippines too and creating gambling here in my country needs permit or license feom the government before you operate because possible for the founders to banned if they notice that you operate without any permit I think licenses is not big so you can apply if you want.

Does that mean I could create one as long as I have the permission of the government? I thought that the government already ban making one here in our country, that is good since I am so scared for months now and I am still using VPN to access some gambling sites.

Edit: I've seen this site when I searched about this, to my fellow Filipinos, you could look at this site about these sites. https://www.legalonlinecasinos.ph/reviews/
1499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: February 09, 2020, 01:00:17 AM
Well, I got addicted to gambling in the past but I never thought of achieving the life I wanted to be with it. The feeling is that I just wanted to be able to win some money that I can use to help my family and my wife with the things needed in our house. I thought of it but not as a gambler but as an owner of a casino or a gambling site though that would never happen.
1500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would make you stop gambling? on: February 09, 2020, 12:23:23 AM
I think it would never stop. Even if I have a career, a passion or even if I have a lot of money, my gambling activity will never stop. It is not that I can't live without it, it is the one that shaped me to be me. I am addicted in the past, I think if that never happened I will not be the same person as myself today. Even if I grow old, I would surely be in my rocking chair using my laptop or mobile phone gambling online.
It actually depends on a person because we can say that there are really some people who really don't stop gambling even if they need to, even if they are kept on losing money they are still playing the game because that is actually what they want, not to lose money but to play. Their passion for playing gambling is active. Being addicted to a particular activity is sometimes bad but the only thing you can do about them is to support because nothing can stop them from playing but their own self.
I am once addicted to gambling but I never ever thought of it to become my passion. I just play because I wanted to, maybe the pressure in the past to myself because I want to help my family and my wife at that time that is why I entered myself into gambling. I also reflected on this and I think if I have enough money for my wife, if I see them so happy, not looking at money as a problem, I think I could consider myself stopping. Right now, I can't do that, everything has their own process and time.
