221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: August 09, 2017, 09:01:08 AM
not sure here why everyone is so surprised about price drops. unless user interest and adoption increases equal to coin increase rate its logical it will drop. byteball is 50% distributed. at 100% distribution at current user base i expect it to halve its current price at least maybe more due to the no more free coin factor. under current trends id expect at 100% distribution its value per 1gb to be 0.05btc. it will be higher if user ownership increases 100% of what it is today.

this is just logical. why are people so surprised that when coins increase that price decreases if user amount is the same?

it is already an illogic when you presume user amount is the same ,where do you think that 1.4 million linked bitcoin came from?

thats linking good sir and in no way indicitive of users. it simply represents "free" coin wanters. the market shows a reflection of buys to sells. more buys less sells means either a few want a lot more or a lot want a few more. price lowering indicates less userbase or decreasing userbase.

byteball has lost value from 0.3 to 0.12. this is likely going to happen because the coins are increasing but unique users arent or are and arent accumulating more.

i like byteball its great but im going to be logical. it will increase in time but it will lower in price with each airdrop its common sense unless use base and coins added to each increases proportionally with new coin amount.

your more linked coins means more users invested is false. its not a true indication. many claim then sell. they arent a user but according to your more linked stat they are.

buyers are users and sellers are users as well, your illogic here is you think that sellers are not the users, so you simply blaimed the price drop is due to no new users increase  is not a fact.

no i didnt blame the price drop i said its natural without proportional more people with amount of coins coming out each drop. if that doesnt happen it will drop with each airdrop until all coins distributed then the base value is achieved.

its not bad against byteball its just more bytes are coming out than the growth iskeeping up with understand? simples. thatsthe logical truth.

I'm just laughing at you clowns not being able to put together a coherent sentence on what it is you're shilling for. Is it gaming? Nope. Cryptography & blockchain? Nope. Faucets? Maybe. PNGs? Can't be that, can it? I mean, totally not Garza and all.

https://news.ionomy.com/ion-storm-rolling-in-7-days-of-giveaways-thunder-and-lightning/

so buzz words abound.

wildshark quit your shit you have no idea what the ionomy vision is and if you did you'd say it.

Be careful with bittrex if you are an unverified user. They just dropped their withdrawal limit from 1BTC to 0.025 BTC without warning.

It's time to switch to https://cryptox.pl
No limit, very low fees and nice GUI.
When trading bots are active, prices are similar to Bittrex.

Yes I think I will also return to cryptox.pl after the customer support experience I just had in bittrex.

BITTREX SUCK, don't use it. They have moronic withdrawal limits and they stubbornly demand 2FA that requires you to install additional software. Their IT guy clearly is delusional and does not have an idea how to achieve information security without compromising customer experience. They require you to have a smartphone and they go absolutely draconian on any customer who refuses to buy a smartphone or use Google's products. Bittrex is done, DEAD. Was fun when it lasted but now they have messed up. Time to move on to exchanges that don't treat their customers like shit.

right.... so you're so smart on information security how would you do it without 2fa? 2 x passwords? grow up its not draconian passwords are cracked and emails havked. texts can have phone number hijacked.. proper 2fa works.

You posting shit is such a mandate for me to post Smiley

Wonder if the price will hit $2 before the timer ends..... is storm a game, is it a weather forecast app, is it a marvel tie in, is it..... speculate bullshit away the ION price is not gonna hit $2 in 6 days if you stay silent

Which part of my post said anything about the price? Your comprehension problem seems to be getting worse every time you post here.

Let me rephrase it at the third grade level. Do you know what ionomy storm is?

if they kept their btc they'd have free byteball and bitcoin cash
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: August 05, 2017, 07:51:05 AM

I have the same. But there are too many linked bitcoin now. So there are just 3 more left.
i'm pretty sure that rules are going to be changed right after next distributon and we'll see more than 3 distribution rounds with less percentage for bitcoin wallets

wont change much. majority of distributed byteballs comes from byteball wallets. its compounding each time do the math on it

This is fun... SEC v. Garza is already being cited in the recent declaration by CFTC that the DAO falls under the definition of 'security'.

https://www.sec.gov/litigation/investreport/34-81207.pdf

Priceless.

Can we name a scam alert after him too?  Like an amber alert.

Garza Alert!  Scam ahead.

priceless? no its GAWSOME... remember when they were calling him Gawd. i dont think anyone but his wife called him hashking so not sure where that moniker came from..

233  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-07-26] SEC: Initial Coin Offerings Must Be Regulated on: July 27, 2017, 08:08:56 AM
Is it necessary for the SEC to poke its nose in to everything? What if the ICOs are based outside the United States? Do the SEC still believes that they have the right to regulate them? First, let them allow the listing of the Bitcoin ETF. After that we can consider whether to regulate the ICO or not.

there is no problem if you dont sell to us citizens or is that the problem you want to do what you want to us citizens? the sec has control on that for the us. if you want to sell in the us you follow the us rules like all other countries with their own rules.

i welcome it. how many icos have actually made money or a difference. people on average are stupid and do need protecting because parasites prey on them. of course its parasites that oppose regulation stating people should be free to be conned by us.

Well my byteball wallet has taken like  3 weeks since the last drop to get to 7/10/17....it is now doing ONE day PER day

gonna be damn hard to catch the wallet up at that rate

suggestions....

it seems to work ok..I put in the latest wallet up grade... I have a buddy that also did this last drop and he also is in my boat

so...it is damn hard to spend byteball...if you can never get the wallet updated before the next drop Sad

suggestions

I have an I7 laptop 8gb ram......windows 10......and it runs 24 hrs on this thing.. I have a 60mbps cable..with no background downloads etc

er confused

thanks

brad

ssd hdd and hispeed net? im betting you have a mechanical hdd and its queue for operation is maxed. use the light wallet or get an ssd

my comment on the other thread
Quote
and I'm guessing by the report https://www.sec.gov/litigation/investreport/34-81207.pdf that any coin that had an ICO that was US based or sold to US citizens can't be sold on normal crypto exchanges until they are registered as a securities exchange

so could get ION delisted

prolly still grey areas. shit will hit the fan if sec says masternodes are that too

i think a lot of money will bleed once regulation comes in. alts will drop and with lightning it'll end up regulated bitcoin, litecoin and a few others.

I wonder if they declared the income from the ICO to the IRD (or what ever you call it in the US). or are they gonna try say it was from the singapore company that didn't exist and the seychelles company that didn't exist at the time (does it exist now?)

i wonder if they paid tax in the other countries lol. doubt it. they'd just tell the irs company confidential or trust us we did. such smart guys

wow wildshark care to comment

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2047995.0

seems icos are securities. not sure 100% but i think korvas didnt see them as that either. doesnt matter if you have an offshore company if you sold to us citizens. pretty sure xpy and ion was sold to us citizens in that phase.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: July 26, 2017, 11:19:17 PM
One technical question: Every wallet that we create inside the Byteball app has its own new private keyes, or there is one only private key for the app, this means for all the wallets ?

We use BIP44, there is one root key per app, and all wallet keys are derived from it.  The derivation paths are:

m/44'/0'/a'/c/i

where

a is the wallet number: 0 for the first (small expenses) wallet, 1 for the next wallet, etc
c is 0 for receiving addresses, 1 for change addresses
i is address index

tony any thought of having automated wallet updates in future versions? still people getting issues that are versions behind. theres already a prompt for new version available but for those less tech minded an auto update would be great

o noes... hope they didnt sell to us citizens. maybe wildshark can show the sec the errors of their judgement.

https://www.sec.gov/litigation/investreport/34-81207.pdf

Took them long enough but it looks like the ETH shittoken wave finally caught their attention. It was silly to expect a free pass on security laws by calling it an ICO instead of IPO, or by using a Seychelles address.

BTW Garza gets a mention in the document... his dream of stardom coming true, albeit in a criminal way.

so mr coins was right? sec approved for lawsuits?

im sure ion will be fine because even though huey lives in usa and sells to everything hes very clever and thought of everything.. that incorporation outside usa foiled the sec. such business peowess!
240  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should paid sig accounts be negd on bad campaigns. on: July 26, 2017, 01:45:57 PM
just an update to prove a point.

skincoin ann has been locked now by mprep. this is because the bounty thread had provisions for posting in their ann to keep it current. it was against forum rules and shady practice. sig campaign still progressed, ico finished and devs have their eth. ann was locked at end but who cares already over. those in sig campaign posted mainly in the ann for skincoin and took payment even though against rules.

that to me shows untrusted. they all released signityres and profile pics.  do any own skincoin? unlikely. have people been suckered in due to them? likely. this is an example on untrustworthy in my books. if they promote something they themselves dont believe and many will never mention skincoin again then is that not something that should affect trust? skincoin like eboost will go nowhere.
