Yup, us "trolls" that saw how "interesting" GAW was from the beginning lurking around are definitely a reason to invest here. So you think every new coin launch is now automatically a scam? Every post you make puts this to the top of altcoins list, great publicity for free, not your intention? They probably are all scams, but the coins that are made by the people complicit in and/or too stupid to see the GAW scam for what it was especially so. Making sure people are able to see our very simple, basic, and unanswered questions is definitely my intention. It's unfair to brand people who get scammed as stupid. It happens everyday to the best of us. The paycoin links here do require attention, but it doesn't mean its automatically a scam. Many red flags were posted in GAW days and many simple easy questions were posed. E.g. - show us proof of the hashing amount. No pool had an increase in size. - show us proof of the amazon, target, wallmart deals There were many more "basic" questions. These people were scammed when there was reasonable posed questions by suchmoon and others. So in this case if there was reasonable proof and they refused to believe it and constantly attacked back calling everyone trolls and fudders i'd call that being "stupid" and a fair branding. If someone is completely ignorant and falls for the same sort of thing over and over is that not the definition of stupidity? Or if everytime you get scammed do you share no burden of stupidity? |

The business is not a new registration, it's been running the XPY.io platform (not XPY the coin) and so it was actually registered sometime in 2014, right now a name change to "Ionomy" is in progress and it is not completed or showing online yet. I'd like to answer some of your questions, I am not part of the Ionomy organisation, but i have been doing my homework, and so the following is the best I can come up with so far: 1) The BlackCoin POS + DASH Masternodes is not just an idea, it is working already and is on testnet, and has been for some weeks. 2) The ION coin dev was found a long time ago, the work on the coin code core is already complete and being tested. 3) ION is neither BlackCoin nor DASH, it is a combination of the two. It's not simply a direct fork of either. 4) Initially the coin will be used for Ionomy own-made/developed games. The reason for the new coin, ION, I suspect is: The XPY.io platform as a platform, was successful (in it's own way, not as in it made XPY great), it's just the coin it was built around, XPY, was rotten. The team behind the platform XPY.io are the team behind ION. They have been around for more than one year and have already gained a sizeable and loyal community for their efforts. This is not investment advice. Disclaimer: Never invest in anything that doesn't feel safe or is outside of your comfort zone. Only invest what you can afford to lose - not a penny more. All crypto projects are EXTREMELY high risk. If in doubt, step back and wait a few months and review if need be, or just move on. You answered some but not all. I've questioned the delays, the BCT ann is "unattended" so the time lapse is not unexpected. It being unattended is not ideal and even though slack is always there, not many people actually use it.

I didn't say anything about having to prove it to you. I asked them because they made the claim that they have established a registered company in Singapore. No one else made that claim, they did. I have asked for details to verify that claim. At this time it appears they have nothing to back it up with. It ain't rocket science, y'know :-) How about my simple question of who uses the ionomy bitcoin talk handle? Is it adam matlack? others.. can they end their post with -adam matlack etc... This is a simple quesiton. Maybe the person in their slack channel can ask this. I believe they don't want to answer it as it shows accountability. Being able to hide being ionomy as someone else gives them security. If they believe in their project say who they are. I asked, they wouldn't answer. They even had the nerve to bad mouth the ICOcountdown guy for hiding behind a handle. Yet the ionomy handle does the exact same thing. Paycoin logic at its finest. There you go such a spoon.. still unanswered and cryptobuds was the most patient, calm and polite of all of us. Ionomy should identify and they should be answering questions here. Unless the intention is just to use the place for advertising to get people to their walled controlled garden of eden? Garza did that too and it was misused. Also Ionomy did promise to provide "here" the details and search link of the site. I've just bought some Sprouts, wallet downloaded nicely but I'm now getting the "Checkpoint too old - wait for block chain to download" message even though it says it's up to date. Is this anything I should be concerned about?
ignore the checkpoint warning. The checkpoint server isn't online anymore / maintained from original dev. It won't affect staking. |

Really tempting to buy dgb at this price, but like others have said, BTC on the rise and it looks almost like a takeoff ramp...
Its going to be interesting the next 60 days up to halving. If everyone wants to jump to btc for profits the alts will tank. They will recover eventually as prices stabilise and profits taken but nobody wants to wait 100 days for that to happen they'd rather sell off as well then buy back in lower. Im not sure what i'll be doing yet maybe i just play both ways a little to be safe. A gamble like everything. Can't wait to see what the halving does to the market though since btc more adopted now. It'll give an indication of what the next halving will do if interest in btc grows or stays the same. Digibyte will bounce back after the halving, buy now for the long term. Don't listen to the trolls on Poloniex saying after the halving it will be bad for high supply coins. No i mean all alts will drop as people converge to btc. So when i said it'll take a while i think this for the majority of coins. Im just not sure if this is the likely outcome though. They could all not drop. Im wondering the impact on ltc as well to see if people will jump into that. Its all a big unknown at present which is what makes it fun. |

Ever since his days of teaming up with Garza to bash me publicly after I first called out the GAW operation SCAM in August of 2014, he has been playing BOTH sides with only one focus; to further his own agenda (whatever that may be).
In my opinion, "Mr-Coins" cannot be trusted or even acknowledged as anything other than a scammer who has learned from among the best.

IANAL but I'm pretty sure if the SEC calls him as witness he will have to appear. I still reckon this would make a ripper of a book to read the entire thing. Add in Paul revere's pictures on every second page as some humour.. have him draft some pics against the rest of the history. Are you on a "heal the world mission" or are you trying to make crypto money?
It's not possible to do both at the same time. You can get BTC by buying it from your salary, or making it, and altcoins are very efficient for that effect. Why do you think there are so many?

To make money but not do it in a dodgy way. Its possible to make money but not be out on a "harm the world to get it mission". Is ionomy out to make money or on a give crypto to the world mission? If its to help crypto then can they say who uses the ionomy account? Because it helps in the whole faith thing when transparent |

What is the relationship between this coin's devs and PayCoin (XPY) ?
The coin developer for ION has zero relation or affiliation to anything related to Paycoin or XPY. So this Adam Matlack is a different Adam Matlack? Adam helped write and edit the whitepaper, but is not a coin developer. So if Adam "Paycoin" Matlack just wrote the ION whitepaper, who exactly is hiding behind the username ionomy here? A little bit of transparency would be nice. Otherwise people could get the idea that ION is Paycoin 2.0 Adam could be it too and speaking in thirdperson about himself. Thats the problem with a multi user handle they can be anonymous with no accountability. Next question the premine set aside. Exactly HOW much and WHAT funding is being given to the ionomy core players i.e. the team. Publish what each is being "paid". |

Having hung out a little in the slack channel, my prior beliefs are pretty much confirmed. I don't believe they're scammers, and actually there appear to be some decent people (minniemouse notably excluded) in the 'community'. I wish to thank those that were reasonable and gave a warm welcome for making an effort.
However, Huey in particular comes across as a nice guy who is very naive with regards to how to run a legitimate business. Case in point, they considered an escrow for the ICO and somehow came to the conclusion that it wasn't necessary. Huey and his group of core leaders there totally overestimated the level of trust people would have in a brand new venture, let alone one that has links to something as dreadful as XPY. Likewise with the business registration. Matlack should as COO be right on top of that, and yet has failed, presumably because he's farmed it out to a third party to take care of and has just trusted that it would be done. Now that it's been proven to be a problem, he's made to look like an idiot.
There are also questions about how they will even get games into the iOS App Store in particular; Huey openly admitted this in the slack. Likewise how they reached the valuation of $0.25 per ion. The fact that things like that are apparently yet to be resolved when they are already taking people's money is again, disorganised and naive, and undermines the whole project.
All in all, while there are some good eggs (get it, Krumz), I just don't think this has legs. Sorry guys.
I would agree with this analysis. Very naive. They have an idea and need people to bank roll it. It's only an idea. There are a TON of details that have not been worked out. Very critics details at that. They don't even have the app stores worked out. They just say "there's another game in the Play Store that pays in satoshis. That is piss poor research. What about the Apple App Store? I could see them completely ignoring one platform. This isn't gonna turn out well at all. Too many unknowns that they have no plan of attack for yet. Apple lets games give satoshi out etc from games ive seen like that sarutobi etc but they don't let you use your currency ingame. ALL currency must be apple paid through their store which is understandable. Why let people release free games use your platform and reach and give apple nothing take everything from them and profit direct to yourself without apple getting a cut. So they are going to make profit .... how? By giving coin away. Apple won't let them sell coins for apple credit. Makes me wonder what they spend all their time doing? Just white paper ideas etc. Doesn't seem to be any technical work. Just pie in the sky dreams they want others to create. |

I just ask questions i don't really do the research gleb, suchmoon, thunderjet and others do. They deserve the credit i just heckle them with questions and sometimes abuse when i get cranky at their lack of proper answers heh which is most of the time. |
