Dude was apparently in a coma for the past 20 years.  Companies do actually.. go checkout whirlpool telstra, tpg and other isp companies have staff that do reply to customer complaints on a public forum. IBM actually produces technology thats revolutionary. after following this thread for a few weeks its plain to see that about 6 people seem to have a real issue with this ion project and have put a lot of effort into trying to associate it with gaw, paycoin, scam etc.
there's a few unanswered questions from the ion team, but apart from that, this thread is just full of crap from these same 6 people.
its a shame because it means the ion team didnt spend much time to answer the questions as the point is, the people asking the questions dont seem to want to know the answers. any answers would be quickly buried with the same crap from the same 6 people.
in my opinion this project looks like an honest effort.

When they answer questions such as the ones i posted and address the stats i put about potential masternodes then i'll give them more time of day. There is nothing honest about premining coins making masternodes and trickle selling on the exchanges. You just invented free currency which you don't want that you convert to btc and usd to fill your pockets. You can sugar coat it with lies about increasing the platform but this fact stands. Inventing free money and premining makes you exactly like the banking system... inventing free fiat when you feel like it. |

When questioned by a loyal follower on slack about the potential scenario of the ICO not selling out, Matlack reluctantly explained that any remaining ICO coins would be used to incentivise developers for future games. I'm sure that'll work out well for them.
In other words making masternodes etc or selling themselves or paying themselves. They didn't mention this little thing about left over ico coins being used in their whitepapers or faqs.. just more deceit, especially if it takes a loyal follower to reluctantly get it out of them |

Which means absolutely nothing. I work in a $400+ billion/year industry but that doesn't make me qualified to take other people's money. How about the actual ionomy numbers? How many games are they going to produce? Timeline? Expected number of downloads? Expected amount of spending per player? How did they come up with those numbers? Google up "prospectus" if you need help with what kinds of disclosures should be provided by companies soliciting investments. Don't forget just working in the $400 billion industry doesn't mean you'll be competitive and even make $1 million. These ion supporters seem to think that because its a $33 billion dollar gaming industry team ion will automatically make money. |

How did team ion prove they were going to have it usable on mobile markets to get around apple, google etcs terms of service? Or is it only going to be the games they have on the site? They state 1 game per month... so in 12 months which is decades in computers you can play a grand total of 12 games with ion. Can you provide some hard stats and proof from what team ion has provided you to show us your method of thinking and getting into this? Its your chance to also show others that might be wanting to invest with some positive appeal. You can't say they seem genuine and nice... thats not a fact. |

If you care about motivations you should try to figure out why a presumably legit project would go to such lengths to look like... uhmmm... not very legit? Another day, more ignored questions by the ION team.
Questions have been asked and asked respectfully. The questions that were asked were legitimate concerns every investor should have. The fact that they continue to choose to not answer said questions should give anyone a great idea of the operation they are getting into.

These BTCs are from wallet where hacker put BTCs he obtained from selling stolen altcoins of Cryptsy on different exchanges. Last transactions he made yesterday - he used TOR trying to conceal them,but in fact just by following blockchain txs you can find exit nodes.Cant conceal blockchain. All his exit nodes were in Nederland. Is there any statement or connection that MrCoins is part of their team? If so, this would be new for me. On other side, why do you expect him sitting on chats to reply questions that he even couldnt if he wished, I am not getting it probably or do you post everyday too on bitcoitalk? I didn't suggest he should respond to all those questions, but for several days he was here more than any other representative of the XPY community defending the teams plans and intentions. Josh garza released paybase, and that amazon integration platform though remember. That functioned fot a while until people here reported to amazon that it was against their TOS. Adam Matlack and ionomy actually haven't delivered. They are claiming that ion will be in mobile games on ios and android market yet those markets use only their instore purchase. Adam and the others haven't addressed the questions of how they are going to get around this and honor this statement yet. There is also no available wallet yet so there is no delivery there yet. There is also no transparency with them stating on the record they aren't like josh garza and are an open book so no delivery there yet. The ionomy handle stated they would provide business registration details but none of that yet so lack of delivery there. The ionomy team hasn't answered many of the questions that cryptobud and others posted in the slack channel so there is no delivery there yet. I'm not trying to be a fudder but im trying to show you they really haven't delivered. Ionomy site is basically at present a cart system that allowed you to do purchases. One can do this with wordpress/bootstrap and some themes and plugins. Honestly nothing is delivered as of yet so i would hold your thought of saying they deliver. The transparency or rather lack of and their refusal to answer questions that which if done would silence the people here is reason for you and others to seriously question their investment. You mention that this forum helped you avoid garza... i would strongly recommend you take your past experience on this and question the ion team in the same way. If this forum helped you in the past it would be prudent to question the current team as people here are questioning them again. History repeats.... learn. |
