Sorry i did have it reversed. It wouldn't help sprouts though as there is no buy side. It would also be manipulatable as you could just say i'll buy 210 trillion of the coin at 1 sat and have that as a buy order. It'll be a huge btc amount but if the coins volume is low and normal buys at 100 sat it'll be a fake buy wall that will never get hit and ensure a coin never delists.

The only true metric is volume as the exchange makes some money from keeping a coin listed. They are in business to make money so it makes sense.

How would buy side btc submitted make sense? I could list 1 sprout for 10000000 btc so buy side gets high value? Bittrex didn't cause it.. sprouts eroded from 600 sat down to 1 sat due to hyper inflation... the delisting came about due to inflation and community not wanting to buy its not the market the coin was flawed.

Bittrex have raised daily requirement to 0.3btc a day... i think by december they are aiming for 0.4btc per coin to stay listed... we might face a delisting again unless more volume. Wish poloniex would pick it up as more exchanges means more cross exchange volume. Have others put a request in to poloniex?

Out of curiosity what makes gravity awesome? By awesome do you mean good for their work or awesome as in awesome game full stop. The videos i saw were just a platformer shooting some metal alien things. I'll be impartial and honest here but i didn't see much in the video that would sway me platformer wise compared to whats out there now platformer wise. Care to share why you think the game is awesome or specific parts that make it fun / long term commitment.

Kinda makes sense to me. 0.5btc is $300 in trade volume a day thats chicken feed if its a decent coin. They have to follow the coin and really do we want a sea of shitcoins? If eggman goes and makes 10 coins all lame ass attempts like sprouts do we really want them all on there if they aren't performing? In the end the community interest in a coin if strong enough (300 people spending $1 a day) then its safe.

In the grand scheme of things when you have 10 team members, events, flights etc it really doesn't go that far. Its not a large sum of money. For 1 person yes it is but for teams its not really when you take all expenditures into consideration. Compared to lots of other coins and ico's etc e.g. dao the funds raised on dgb for $250k really isn't much.

The truth is that any coin can pump. The available supply doesn't dictate a pump potential. Potcoin i believe has less but did you see it pump? Its the groups that acquire slowly then rapidly raise it that cause concern.

These groups however would hold no power if owners of other coins and those without any didn't succumb to greed and try and ride this wave and fall into their trap.

If pumpers pumped but normal buy/sell processes continued without this greed then the pumpers would make nothing and spend money to raise it for everyone. Thats the harsh truth of it.

Investors simply need to look at the graph of the past 6 months and find the normal levels and NOT buy when its rapidly raised. There is no such thing as a free lunch so don't try and get one. Just buy at normal rates and use the coin as a currency and you'll be fine.

Those whinging that dgb lost them money (or any alt for that matter) are likely those that tried to ride a quick wave to riches and failed, and rather than blame their greed and foolishness would rather vent it in a public forum like its no fault in any capacity of theirs.

If i was an ion investor now i'd be hitting their slack channel and asking strongly why all their projects for the ionomy don't seem to involve "ion" in any way. They should actually rename to atomonomy or electrononomy. I'd be pretty disappointed in a team that told me ion was going to be the go only to invest in it to realise that the ionomy doesn't actually really use cryptocurrency at all other than giving your btc to them so they can sell it.

Huey doesn't want ion anyway.. there is no market depth to sell so btc is more valuable to them. And besides they have enough premine in ion to stake more anyway so why would they accept ion? I was 2 days behind on the sync with new wallet. No compatibilty mode needed worked fine took me around 7 minutes max to sync up the 2 days and it staked straight away. Looking good to me great work. Now i don't need to worry about non 2.5 nodes and excluding them.

It depends on what peer list you get for how fast it downloads the chain etc.

When you say slow do you mean the actual wallet starting or the chain download? If the chain download its not going to be a database speed its going to be the peer to peer file propagation.
