2221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Leaked statement about digital asset from Secretary Janet L. Yellen on: March 09, 2022, 06:17:37 AM
There's a deleted article from the Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen in regards to digital assets. Good thing they got archived by the web archive here: https://web.archive.org/web/20220309014601/https://home.treasury.gov/news/press-releases/jy0643

What do you think about this executive order? Was this the reason in regards to the recent pump in the market? I mean the EO was a positive thing for crypto, so it might be.
2222  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas to pilot CBDC project on: March 08, 2022, 09:55:28 PM
Ano sa tingin nyu? Long term effect mabuti ba tong CBDCs sa Pinas?
It depends... Maganda ang impact nito sa government as a whole, pero hindi ito makakabuti sa end users in the long run dahil lalaki lalo ang influence nila sa atin [e.g. any time pwede nilang i-freeze ang wallets natin].
- I wonder bakit biglang nag "U-turn" sila?
I think nasa last paragraphs ng article sa OP yung sagot, maybe the recent BSP-AFI Virtual Knowledge Exchange Program-3 (KX3) na just conducted last March 1 and nag trigger sa BSP na gumawa ulit ng hakbang para mag announce ng pilot testing sa nasabing proyekto. In the long run talagang magkaroon ng CBDC kasi ang ibang mga nasyon ay ganito rin ang ginagawa, we can't deny this fact.
2223  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $40000 resistance on: March 08, 2022, 09:33:49 PM
What are you people suggesting, is this time to buy bitcoin or a time to just to have sold and wait for another bull market because this time will be more of the bears than bulls while the bulls are turning to bears making the market not to favor the upside.

Please, give accurate information as you are think it can be, we all still know that bitcoin price will rise and reach ATH again.
We can't say if it's bulls or bears are dominant this time, a trap is most likely just on the other side of the story. No one can predict a very volatile market as it's hard tbh, I can say that DCA is the best thing to do for the most part of where we are right now, that's literally what I am in.
2224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 08, 2022, 09:14:18 PM
They've just lost the second spot to the Memphis Grizzlies, but it's going to be a wire finished between this two teams.

Yes, they almost tasted victory against the Nuggets, if they were able to sustain their run on the fourth. Actually at the start of the last quarter they are in front by 7 point lead and Poole had a back to back 3's. But the Nuggets comes back, lead by Jokic, push the ball in the last 7 minutes and eventually got the lead.

Jokic was really extraordinary, the team can rely on him when it's winning time. Not a bad loss for the Warriors as they are not expected to win, but hopefully sooner they'll be able to stop their losing streak, it's not good going to the playoffs.
Jokic reminds me of the old Dirk. Though they are not the same but in terms of reliability, you can count them

to be there when the team needs them the most. Jokic continues playing as MVP he just making a point that he really deserve that

award and continue to bring enjoyment to his fans and the entire fans of Denver. Maybe while the playoff is nearing, he's adding good

numbers to his individual stats, it will give him the chance to win another MVP.
I get it though I think Dirk was way more than of a shooter type and Jokic was more on the assist and the penetration thing. I wonder if he can get that MVP award later this year or Embiid will be the one to get it since he's getting hotter and hotter as the league goes on.
2225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Currency Game on: March 08, 2022, 02:00:33 PM
Crypto currency game is a game plays by two or more players, and the means and Objects (Items) of the game are own by the individual players, that makes the game decentralized game.

The game is different from the traditional game in which the programmer ( the producer) own the products (items) and give it to the players.

But yet I don't know how to play the game in practical.

Please someone teach me how to play the game.
I don't think a cryptocurrency game is only for two or more players it can be a single player for example a dice or a slot, you don't need any other players for that. I think you're referring to an NFT play-to-earn kind of game, there are lot of articles explained how you can earn them but it vary from game to game since they don't have the same gameplay and set of rules.

You can share it here onwhat specific game you're trying to tell maybe there are other forum members here that are familiar with what you want to learn.

2227  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: March 07, 2022, 06:18:13 PM
Well done to Russia. It's Biden's fault
How is it Biden fault for Russia invasion of Ukraine can you give out more information to support that claim, why are some people blaming US for this Rusia Ukraine war are.you guys expecting Biden to pronounce war against Russia for Ukraine invasion?
Can't say for sure on who's at fault over it but we don't know the real thing since they hide it publicly, some say it was just staged. I don't think that's what LEVSKI7 trying to portray for US to announce a war with Russia, it has to have a process and it wouldn't be just Biden that will say the word, this has to be decided by the Congress and not just solely by Biden.
The news flying every day on tv are all just destructions in Ukraine like its something new. We've seen alot worse destructions in the wars of middle east. No one bats an eye, no Reuters or BBC coming even to just flash images on tv.

No news these days talks about the nevotiations before the war. People will not seek the reason any more or whos fault. No tv station explains why Ukaine wants to Join NATO and why Russia oppose it. But some TV stations reports how many brothers were established overnight because of many sexy Ukrainian runaways.
Because if it's America that trying to invade a nation it's called a liberation but if other country does it's an act of aggression. Yosemite (pun intended)? You would just mbe surprised how media these days operate, we may never know how to spot the right from wrong.

2229  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Paymaya will launch their crypto-friendly “Maya Bank” in Q1 2022! on: March 06, 2022, 03:00:17 PM
Anu sa tingin nyu guys? Alam ko may mga sariling opinion kayu tungkol dito, so feel free to express it here. Salamat!
1. GCASH
2. PAYMAYA
3. COINSPH

Just my thoughts pero mukhang kaya naman nila to compete as an e-wallet na crypto friendly rin.
2230  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scalpers and day traders - Never lie, be realistic. on: March 05, 2022, 09:51:32 PM
I guess I'm not making money from scalping as it's hard for me but perhaps day trade was more manageable on my end. Though I'd say we're really getting into the vibes that at the end we will gonna be all love swinging a trade, scalping and day trading was just too tiresome.
2231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask "decentra-lied" to us? on: March 05, 2022, 02:12:10 PM
The response I was hoping was Metamask dropping Infura since they actually blocked some regions but NO. They are also saying they are following those sanctions imposed on some countries which I find alarming. I guess it's a call to dig deeper into these "decentralized" wallets which actually uses centralized infrastructures.
The more we dig the more shocking it becomes, at first I thought it's just a normal issue with the Infura node but after I did more research it turned out the Metamask itself participated in sanctioning and blocking a few countries to comply with the law.
I mean as one of the "decentralized" blockchain dapps, something like this should not happen. What is the difference between a normal bank account and this then?
Decentralization that uses centralized infrastructure equal to centralized, why mask it if that is the truth.
This could pose some risks and privacy concerns if Metamask itself isn't worthy to what they're achieving in the first place. Can we tell that it will only be Metamask that will do this in the future or other apps as well that can be controlled by the government? Can't tell the difference now between a centralized and a decentralized one tbh.
2232  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: looking for: exchanges fastest withdrawing on: March 05, 2022, 06:44:24 AM
I've got no issue on using Binance or either Kucoin and by using USDT (Tron chain) as it's faster base on my experience. I think for XMR and BTC on the exchange I just said will vary on the network and the transaction fee you've put, base on experience as well especially for BTC.
2233  Economy / Gambling / Re: Join a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms on: March 05, 2022, 03:32:36 AM
Your list has sites that deserve to be boycotted due to its bad reputation. As for the Ukraine crisis with Russia, I do not think that imposing sanctions on Russia would be the most appropriate solution. Rather, other peaceful ways must be sought that satisfies both parties in order to resolve the conflict without bloodshed and the return of water to its courses. I hope to see this is not a war between two countries, but rather a mutual understanding and peace.
Most of the list of casinos in the OP aren't that good and popular so it's looks like it's being boycott in the first place. Some of these casinos really have bad reputation especially 1xbit. Always hoping they'll come up with peaceful resolution, most of the people around the world does.
2234  Economy / Speculation / Re: No FUDs will win the market on: March 04, 2022, 11:46:12 PM
The only winners are those people who buy when the weak hands panic.

FUD is only applicable for those who easily panic because they lack knowledge on what they are doing, that's not good for them but good for us who know it's an opportunity to buy. That's why the words "whales manipulate the market exist" because, with our ignorance, they can take advantage on that by shaking the market so we will dump and they'll be very happy to accumulate.
And, if they wouldn't paper hand it as well when market gets chaotic and their reasoning behind that catch won't dismantle because of their trading behavior. It needs a rock-hard resolve if you need to win, a realist approach. Whales manipulate the market but it's safe to note that even whales don't have crystal balls in their hand on when the market will top or bottom, they can just shake the market.
2235  Other / Meta / Re: techearn17 BAN APPEAL on: March 04, 2022, 02:27:47 PM
Nonsense, you're still a plagiarist and wanted to cheat in order to earn merit https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5382917.msg59402840#msg59402840

You deserve to get permanent banned, as you don't even contribute anything with your second account, only become a hunter to earn worthless coins.
And, a nonsense ban appeal thread. I wonder what do they brought to the forum, I wouldn't be surprised if somehow in the future the Bounties board wouldn't appear anymore here. If most of its post history was only POA and bounty report and they've been caught  by evading a ban or plagiarizing, that's totally a permanent ban and no exceptions even by appealing.

To OP, mind that your wish will not be granted even for a few percent, that is the reality you're in right now.

2237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: According to Bill Miller, the collapse of Russia's currency is good for Bitcoin on: March 04, 2022, 12:14:05 PM
Can't say right now on what Russia is strategizing but it's likely a win-win situation for Bitcoin if they legalized it considering how low the Rubble got. We don't know what's Putin plan ahead of all these because somehow we know that he'd expect sanctions over his actions, better be it for the best of all.
2238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever subscribe to any tipser giving sports betting premium picks? on: March 04, 2022, 09:30:35 AM
So the question here is, does anybody here actually subscribe to any tipster who gives sports betting premium picks, and how much is did you pay?

What was the experience, is it profitable or do you feel you got scammed?
Somehow I stumble upon a tipser but all I have to do is to join and take the opportunity to take the free picks and if somehow it ended and the owner wants to pay those picks then I'd leave or the owner will just kicked me on that group. Haven't been onto any paid tipser in my gambling journey since it's likely not my type or I just trust my instincts and judgement upon what I bet, especially on sports betting.
Sometimes the platforms allow their users to get a community chat mostly I saw this kind of feature in e-sports gambling and they are giving their thoughts like do bet here because good win of course at the end of the day it's your decision to make a wage on that team or not. Better to make your own research preventing losing too much money because of the gut feel of other people having their own research is the most ideal thing.
Exactly, even if they are giving any tips somehow at the back of your mind there are doubts on those bets. I've been there tbh and I feel that way and I really did my own research and decisions these days, may it a losing or a winning bet, luck is having a few percentage on that instinct.

Tingnan natin ano mangyayari dun sa Economic Meeting kailan lang involving the President and his cabinet staffs on how to solve the issue of oil price hike which is in the first place, di naman natin kontrol.

Some things they are looking at is to revised*** or review the Oil Deregulation Law but since it's election period sabi ng ilang Senators the debates may instead be influenced by politics

I doubt it mostly kasi lahat kakandidato. Sana ipagpatuloy and diplomasya kasi ibang mga 3rd world countries talaga ang nag paid ng prices sa ganitong mga kaguluhan.
