Yeah, the Pelicans just don't stand a chance of winning the Suns in the first round of the playoffs. However, I would note Valanchunis' phenomenal performance in this match as the Suns couldn't handle him and allowed him to grab 25 rebounds, including 13 offensive rebounds. It's crazy stats! So this guy will most likely surprise us in the upcoming matches, and I guess the Pelicans will be able to win at least 1 game in this series, thanks to him. It is too unfortunate for them because they got the spot of facing the Suns on the first round, I'm not underestimating there talent but it's just impossible to happen that they could defeat them in this series, but yes maybe they can have that 1 game in their favor. Yes, it's impossible not to see Valanciunas where he did 25 rebounds. That man is a true warrior in the center and the Suns is struggling to guard him whenever his at his spot, maybe there will be some other teams that will offer him this summer as he will be a good asset to any team he will belong. |

I'm not saying that he waited for GGG to get old, but with no potential fighters except LHW, but it won't give him the money that he could get from fighting an old GGG in a trilogy? Why not? And after this fight and he declare as a winner then he can tell everyone that he is the best fighter in the world right now and stop the discussion about their infamous fights.

It's because Cruz or Pitbull is a regular boxer on Showtime while Garcia is on DAZN and that's the very reason why the fight didn't happen as they both don't want to share on one platform. Under four minutes remaining in the Suns vs. Pelicans game but I'm calling it now as a win for the Suns. I'm just waiting if they win by double digits for my bet  CP3 was just too good for them from scoring, assisting, and then stealing. I hope he gets a triple double (1 assist short at the moment). Add to that the support of Booker and the rest of the team. edit: he got his 10th assist. They did cover the spread if I'm not mistaken, 11 point win and the initial handicap for them is -10.5. CP3 though, is the X factor in this game 1, when the Pelicans are making a comeback at the end of the 3rd and start of the 4th, he hits back to back 3's, has an assist, steal and had some intelligent play that caught his defender off-guard. That's what CP3 can bring to this team, experience and basketball IQ. It was a great game for Chris Paul when he took control in the fourth quarter scoring 16 of the Suns 21 and went on to dominate in the paint. If he hit that last shot of the match I would of cashed some good bets as I had the -12.5 on mine. Phoenix were up double digits the majority of the game and Booker who had most of his points in the first half wasn't really needed and was on the bench most of the time. Pelicans have to figure out a way to solve whatever issues they might have, because to be honest they looked quite weak compared to the Suns even without their star player in the last frame of the match. Sun's role players are good enough to match with the Pelicans, sorry to say, but that's also what I have noticed here. Putting all the stars of Suns inside and with CP3 dictating the game, Pelicans will be having more hard time in competing with the solid defense and offense of the Suns. Let see what adjustments Pelicans will try to do to tie this series, though it's not that bad as they, really trying to work it out but Suns are too heavy for them. Congratulations to Errol Spence what he have shown inside the ring a while ago is definitely a great fight that was worth to watch for. And indeed, Spence is far different to Pacquiao and he shows us a solid performance that leads to his victory via knock out against Ugas. I mean for me there's no point of comparing the two fighter between Spence and Pacquiao both are good fighter in their respective timeline. Now, I am very sure that this is a great milestone to Spence career, however, I must think that Spence vs. Crawford is kind of an anticipated fight if given a chance. Nah, they're not just a "good" fighter, they are one of the few "best" fighters. And "Spence is far different to Pacquiao", that's basically comparing lol. But I could be wrong by what you meant by that statement. On the other hand, I didn't expect Errol to deliver such a great performance. I was expecting that this is going to be a close fight, but no. However it is quite entertaining, but It could've been more entertaining If Ugas didn't held too much of his punches, but Errol's punch is really punishing him and it's very evident on his face lol. IMO, it was a close fight because there are some times that Spence gets hit hard by Ugas, at some point he was even almost KO if the refs did not play a dirty game. At this fight, it was pretty evident that Spence has better stamina and he has move volume punches compared to Ugas. I can't even imagine if it was Spence who fought Pacman, for sure Pacman will be KO with the way he fought with Ugas. I can completely understand why Spence was so aggressive even if it was still on the 1st round, he is trying to gas out Ugas by giving him a barrage of punches either on the body or face while Ugas is definitely hurting even if he is covering his face. Spence tried to get as close as he could to Ugas to avoid counter punch as he know that he cannot land a solid good punch if he's keeping his distance because Ugas's have the reach advantage. Although Spence was hurt badly on the 6th round but he bounced back well. I can't even imagine if it was Spence who fought Pacman, for sure Pacman will be KO with the way he fought with Ugas. I also gave a thought about that, what if Spence didn't got injured last time? He could have badly hurt Pacquiao for sure or worse a KO. |

I do not think it makes any difference, if Canelo were to lose to Bivol would GGG be less interested in fighting Canelo at that point? I do not think so, and what about Canelo? He may even need the fight as a way to recover some of the reputation that he would lose under that scenario and then challenge Bivol again, this is why the victory of GGG was the key for the fight to happen, as a defeat at that point could have allowed Canelo to avoid him by claiming GGG was a shadow of his former self.
The point is not that GGG is less interested, but Canelo sees no point of making a third fight against GGG. For Canelo, GGG is already a beaten opponent. If Canelo looses to Bivol, I dont think fighting against GGG will be a recovery. Some might disagree, but I think that will be a step back for Canelo. Canelo would have gained, fame, if he would fight GGG if not same year, but at least in GGG. I think GGG will box for next few years only, maximum till 43. Only fans are interested in Canelo vs GGG third fight, but not both boxers. Maybe Canelo thinks that way, but the fans do not and the fans matter, there are many fans that saw GGG winning at least one of those fights against Canelo and many are not happy with what happened with the judges, if Canelo did not cared at all about this then the fight with GGG would be completely out of his mind, but since that is not the case then we need to wonder why is that the case? And the most likely answer is that Canelo wants to show the fans that he can indeed beat GGG without leaving any room for doubt. The fight is very controversial and for many years, Canelo has been haunted by it. Boxing writers continue to ask him why he didn't want to give GGG a third fight. And maybe he wanted to show who the real winner is but facing him in the trilogy. But we can talk about it later once he settled and win against his tougher opponent in Bivol next month. Maybe Canelo becomes sick of everything and now finally decided to face GGG in a trilogy to end their saga. Much especially now that GGG won against Murata and added some titles on his, Canelo has no choice but to face GGG for the third time. You are right that before we talk or discuss the trilogy, Canelo should be the winner first of his upcoming fight against Dmitry Bivol. His opponent is also in his prime, the same as him. Canelo winning this fight will be the key to the trilogy with GGG but if he loses this, no more trilogy. We should focus first on this fight before anything else. Bivol is not an easy opponent but Canelo should be able to handle him. Canelo have no other option as well because for some reasons his fight against Ilunga Makabu has been cancelled and now that he's been offered a fight against a champion in Light-Heavyweight who also have a clean record but that deal also includes GGG on the contract and if he doesn't want to fight GGG for a trilogy then he also won't fighting Bivol. I don't want to give some negative remarks on Garcia but it's really hard to deny that his movement recently is different. Nevertheless, he still have a lot room to improve.
He is a boxing superstar with an undefeated record, he was just off for more than a year due to some mental problem but his return is not so impressive despite the fact that he won the fight. Well, let's give him a chance, he'll fight again this year probably, so expect a tougher and more exciting fight. Maybe we are just expecting too much from Garcia even the fact that he came from a long break, well winning via unanimous decision is not bad at all, that only means your opponent is strong as well that matches your skills. This can be a big win for Garcia and most probably he learned a lot of lesson from him, his next opponent should trained more, Garcia is not an easy opponent and big threat to every boxer. Garcia was able to landed good punches as well, he may not able to knock out Tagoe but still, he won the match and yes that is what matters here. Luckily, I was able to bet at least a small amount, Garcia is still undefeated as expected, Tagoe also proves that he is not an easy opponent. Garcia still have a lot of time to improve himself and be better again, his next match will be exciting as well, I heard that it can also happen this year so let’s see. Well in my own opinion, neither of them is impressive on that particular fight. Maybe we have just put too much expectation to the fight and about Ryan Garcia that's why we ended up disappointed, I mean this match is supposed to make and lift Garcia's name again after a year of lay off. And for Tagoe? Yes, he tried his best but it really don't amount on something on the end and I thought he would atleast make the fight entertaining because it is his key to make more fights in the future from being an unknown boxer. This is not going to be your usual boxing match this is a grudge fight both fighters hated each other mock each other show real hatred to each other, I have this feeling that they will come to blow in one of their face-offs so those around there should be quick not to let it happen.
There was hype on their first meeting way back and it continues and the hatred grows, even more, I will not be surprised if they engaged in dirty tactics when they face inside the ring, just to hurt each other.

Two amazing games.  A lot of players stepped up their game to gain the win. Pelicans first, Larry Nance Jr. dominating the paint in offensive rebounds. With the Clippers playing small ball there's no one to stop him. 14 and 16 for Nance. Then the rookie, 17th pick, Trey Murphy III, made crucial 3-pointers. 4/6. In the East, the Hawks may have won it with Trae Young's 32 points in the 2nd half but now they have a big problem with Capela injured. Hunter will be their rim defender as they play against the Miami Heat on Monday. It will be hard to fill the gap that Capela will left at the Hawks center position because of his injury. A very difficult task at hand for the short handed Hawks against a complete line up of the Heat. We have Bam that they have to contain in the middle and then of course the ever reliable Butler as their leader. As much as I love the Hawks, but I'm not seeing them advancing in the next playoff round here. Let's hope that Capela will be able to play in the playoffs. We have to wait for the MRI result first. I went with the Hawks -2.5 as well, even though the Hawks have been struggling on the road this season I still think they'll somehow come out on top since these guys are more experienced when it comes to the playoffs. On the other hand, it'll probably go down the wire given how the Cavs manage to keep it somewhat close against the Nets even though they were trailing by 20 at some point in the game. The over seems juicy given their head-to-head results but the unders are the trend so far in all four play in matches. Also leaning on the Clippers but i'll skip that one for now since PG is out and tbh they're still in a good position to win at home though. Congratulations if you place the bet for -2.5 Hawks. What a nice close game for both Cavs and Hawks. Trae Young is unstoppable on there match with a 38 points. Cavs slowly decrease there aggressiveness at the start of 2nd half until the end of the game, It seems they already control the game on the first half but Hawks bounce back and recover the gap and seal the game with there strong momentum. Clippers is in good condition too, They can give a close fight to Pelicans even without PG. Shame to PG that he is not protecting his health especially on this crucial match. Same here, I had the Hawks for -2.5 and it's a big win again for us. As I have said before, Trae will not flop in this game and not even Garland can guard him. So congrats to those who ride on that bet. For the moment, I thought the Cavaliers will get the win as they have an early lead and Tray wasn't productive in the 1st half. However, I realized that Tray was something special, he makes his teammates better even without Capela who was injured in the game. No shame for Clippers fans, I mean the Pels lead at the end of the first half and then they came back strong but they just fell short because PG is not there. It might be a different outcome if PG is in, unfortunately, things happen.
It was an up and down game, 1st half, the Pelicans were leading but in just one quarter only, they come back and even take a good lead, but they gassed out in the 4th and that's where the Pelicans took over. |

I can see that Inoue will try to be less aggressive on the early rounds and will look to make the fight long. Yes, a trilogy is bound to happen if Donaire will make this fight into his favor.
Hopefully, Donaire can win and will strip Inoue of his belts. I am sure Donaire will be obligated to give a trilogy in case he wins, so let's see if we have a different outcome in this rematch.
