If you use a "throw" away just make sure you check back to the thread so when the book comes out you know to check your email. Everything has potential to be spammed however I know what you mean. This is my first attempt at a crypto currency book, and I haven't read any before. If you enjoy business you can PM me and I can recommend some good books for innovation etc. This is my first account, and I have been in crypto for a bit I just never registered to a crypto currency forum. I just used news sites etc for information. You can check out my youtube channel for some information on myself, however I will create a small little bio for this thread later today. ( Have been very busy with thanksgiving preparation ) Thank you very much for your comment  I love all the support. It would realy helpfull if you give some information about you and how long you are following blockchain technology. It just give overview which kind of content we can get on your book.

ETH is finally breaking through after $300 stagnation.

There is a certain limitation when it comes to Ethereum and the important thing is that it cannot be considered as a currency and there are a ton of projects coming out with their platform,but i am yet to see some good projects using their platform in a long time,there are good ones coming but to see the price of Ethereum reach another level of valuation we need more tokens and more usage of ETH gas.
I dont think ethereum even aims to be a currency. I agree with the fact that we need to see more projects succeed which I think will start next year when we still the original ICO frenzy projects fail. People will then see their mistakes ( hopefully ) and start to move forward. This is only the beginning. It will gain more value with time. 2018 will be the year of ethereum. I’m expecting a 3x or even 4x at least.
PART of 2018 will be the year of ethereum, you need to remember all of these projects that are receiving millions in funding that are shitcoin will start to run out of money and fail. When that happens, people are going to look around and feel as if they have been blindsided. We will see a fall out, and people will leave upset. However people will learn from there mistakes and new ICO standards will be created to help us move forward. The price keep increasing recently, and its above 350$ actually, and its going up almost daily. Ethereum is the most used altcoin nowadays and its price will be a lot higher than present, because almost all the ICO devs and investors keep trading it, buying it and of course advertising it more.
This doesnt seem to prove much of anything. ETH put on a show last night and it will continue when btc cools
Why though? ETH really doesnt have room to grow until people get passed their burned money that they have invested in ICO's. These projects that people have invested in are going to fail, and it wont be a simple " ops I made a mistake". All hell will break lose, until people start to realize that traditional investing standards and practices should be considered. You cant invest in a coin without utility, and without a MVP. Definitely ETH is mooning. Looks like it has the attention it badly needed and investors and traders are pouring money on it. But I doubt its sustainable though, I'm sure when it reaches around $400 most will sell it off. I believed in those coins long ago that's why I'm happy when it reaches its ATH like 6 months ago however, it didn't regained after that. But today and last few days increased looks like it can it again, but then again, I felt that it will go and drop again. Its like btc, mental barriers hard to control and decision to sell is always there.
It certainly will drop again, nothing will just continue a uptrend. What people forget is that WE NEED LOSERS. I want all of you in this thread to lose money. Why? Because if everyone made money there wouldnt be room for other too. We need people to invest poorly and lose money, so that the smarter investors can make money. If investing was guaranteed or safe, no one would be rich. |

Who should make these regulations? is there any team or people who can regulate ICOs? between nice point of view we really need to clear scam ICOs.
Us. Investors, crypto currency enthusiasts. We need to spread our thoughts and opinions because it is regular people that are investing in these coins without a second thought. We as investors and enthusiasts need to stick together to help promote this idea of extra layer standards. I guess we are in a transition phase from the period when people would invest in ICOs just as ICO flippers (resell immediately for inflated price) and the period where people are discovering that if the project sucks, so does their investment.
People seem to forget business investing strategies that have been around for many many years. People often will go completely against traditional investing ideas, which is why we are seeing such a painful backlash. Standardization is so much needed in the crypto world because any one can wake up in a day, create a coin and go for an ICO but if there is a standard this will reduce a lot of shit coins creation and scams by developers. It will also give the mainstream society especially those that do not have faith in digital currency a reason to belief in crypto coins . Regulation is needed for full acceptance of crypto currencies
Exactly, and these standards will arise whether we petition for them or not. People are going to start getting burned and investments that were made with the first round of this ICO frenzy are going to start coming back soon. And when that happens, the market is going to turn sour for a period of time. People need to wake up now and fix this problem before it gets worse. |

I plan to publish it in print and distribute (sometimes sell, sometimes give for free) in different places for the people who are new in this ares, with the goal of promoting crypto-currencies in masses) tenkuna, what do you mean by earn bitcoin? It's like earning money in general, just focus on what you are good in. Or if you mean free bitcoin, there are faucets, but they won't give you much I checked many faucets and listed the best ones on my site http://flodner.com/crypto-faucets/But honestly, faucets are the waste of time. May be a while ago they gave good amount of satoshis, now when the price of BTC is high, you need to click A LOT to receive something Thank you so much for the kind words! They hate the idea, and the only way this can succeed is if they host the coin on their platforms which they wont. If the team will develop what they plan to and have a good market strategy $100 million marketcap is very possible when you compare it to some projects in the space
However for someone to invest without actually knowing what the "plan" is, very silly. I dont even think they have yellow papers for developers yet ( correct me if I am wrong ) which makes this a pathetic project. I tried to warn people that developers were not interested in this, and I doubt a majority of the Enjin Community will want to implement this. |

Yes it will go way up, just give it time. Bitcoin also took its time going up and it was a pretty good year for ethereum. I think 1000-2000$ ethereum is pretty likely in the next year.
So you think that Ethereum is going to go up 3x to 6x in a single year? I’m not an expert in predicting anything but I think the chances of that happening are very low, ethereum grew a lot in this year but the market cap was a lot lower, now that the market cap is this huge we cannot expect the price to go up that much in such a short time amount of time. Yeah I certainly dont think it will jump 3x-6x, however I dont think $600 is a bad prediction for next year sometime. I think Ethereum will hit 3x or 6x as what you said but maybe it will hit next year. I can speculate Ethereum will go to the moon soon. As this is still alive in the market and I hope we can earn profit. What makes you think it will go 3x-6x, or are you simply hoping it will so you can make a profit? I also find it worry some that crypto currency users are not happy with 20% returns in a year, and that is sickening. |

Decentralized trading will be huge in 2018 and going forward. I'm investing in zrx kyber and airswap. All three are great projects with 10-100x potential. My thesis is very simple. Trading will be a big part of cryptos and these projects are positioned to grow exponentially once more people join the movement. It takes time for people to learn about btc and then alt coins.
Why will decentralized trading be huge though, especially in 2018? People are less willing to secure there own funds so I see it being a huge problem. Yes it could be the next 10x coin but it does not matter, time matters, when it will make 10x? In a month or in a year. I can't see any coin which can make 10x now in a month.
I think people are getting way to greedy in crypto and it is expected that a coin should go up 1000%, and if it goes up 20% in a year it is a bust. I cant see this coin getting anywhere close to a 10x |

At the moment, ICO as many as they are is still better than your traditional IPO! In the traditional ipo and deriavatives, you can not know the inside secret and trading taking place because that system is not open. But in crypto furrency it is not so. Everything is in the open and you can dig out the minutest secret!
What do you mean it is "better" than a traditional IPO. Are you talking about insider trading or what? I am very confused as to what you are even trying to say. I would stay away from trying to compare the stock market and the crypto currency market. |
