Do the new rates apply right from the start of this round/term, i.e. March, 17? Cool

Yup, sorry I wasn't clear on this. Thanks for asking.
2262  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: April 02, 2014, 04:28:57 PM
Prices were raised all across the line. Mainly there is a lot more incentive if you are a senior/hero member.

Primedice 3 is going to have an affiliate program as well, I'm still undecided on whether I will allow personal affiliate links for paid signatures.

If anyone disagrees with any aspects of this program or payment please voice your concerns and I'll do my best to make everyone happy.

So what if I have a total balance a 1mil coins in primedice? I know there's a tiny chance to do it but will you be able to pay out within 15 minutes as well?

Our current max profit on win is 20 Bitcoins. If we lost all our Bitcoins, except 10, our max profit will change to 10 instead of 10. You can't win more than the amount of Bitcoin PD currently holds.

So I was thinking if stunna will revise rate or will stick to it.?

Rates will be updated later today. What I'm interested in gauging is whether or not people are interested in getting paid a fixed rate based off activity or if they prefer post count.

Site is under ddos attack or heavy load, we're working to get it back up to speed.

EDIT: should be working smoothly.

Why Jr Member is not allowed? I mean I can guess why newbie is not allowed but why not Jr Member?

Simply because of abuse/spam from jr members.

On April 1 Ritz pays out for his signature supposedly. If he scams everyone I will be reducing my rates, if he proves he is legitimate I will consider increasing rates.

For those of you who are enrolled right now, your rates will not decline this month regardless of the outcome.
2267  Other / Meta / Re: BFL bringing down the trust rating? on: March 30, 2014, 08:31:09 PM
I don't see why people whine so much about the trust system, really all it is meant to do is serve as some sort of general guideline when dealing with new users. It's extremely sad that Inaba is bribing people to leave negative feedback for no reason. BFL has been unethical at best from day one but this sort of behavior is honestly just childish.

I'm only comfortable keeping the site up if I can insure/back all deposits/balances with my own personal funds. Not interested in that level of risk for both myself and PD users.

As a side note, any ETA on PD3? Really interested to see how it'll turn out.

We're going to try to set a release date by tomorrow, ideally for next saturday.

We will probably keep PD2 up for 1-2 weeks on a separate url so users can withdraw funds.

PD2 had quite a few bugs/issues and we're trying to fully test this before we release.
2269  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 999Dice is a scam on: March 30, 2014, 07:11:36 AM
The post you linked and the casino are very weird because there are a ton of bets but a bit shady infos about the bankroll, you can get a max profit of 40BTC which is huge for a 0.1% edge casino

The thread only has 2pages which is weird for a casino that is supposed to have operated more than a billion bets

Their bankroll was fake, I'm 100% sure that their total bets/wagered is fake as well in an attempt to draw in investors.

It is too bad that nobody can invest in PD, was it possible before?

No it is still not currently possible to invest into PD. If you want somewhere to invest JD would be the best option at the moment. I'm not too sure if Stunna has plans to implement investment options at the moment - you'd have to ask him yourself.

I'm only comfortable keeping the site up if I can insure/back all deposits/balances with my own personal funds. Not interested in that level of risk for both myself and PD users.
2271  Other / Meta / Re: Authentication/2FA desperately needed 1BTC Bounty on: March 29, 2014, 06:15:56 PM
Here's a friendly bump again, as it's really a nice idea.

"Authy" might be usefull here. Cryptsy uses it too. By Authy, you get a code on your smartphone which gives you the right to log in. This coin is only valid for 20 seconds.

So, if someone wants to hack your account, they need your password as well as your phone physically.

Theymos wants some sort of custom implementation made exclusively for this forum version.

i proposed someone write software to do this which i was told is a no no ;-) lmfaoooo

There's some sort of misconception that we're against software/personal scripts. This is not true, as long as you aren't doing something that is putting significant stress on our site we're fine with it .

I'm posting this just to give my honest experience and opinions so please don't bash me.

Backstory - I started playing at primedice a few months ago, lots of fun and nice people in chat. Got to over 1btc last week, lost it all in single bet. Not primedices problem I said, fair bet fair loss. So I started playing again and was a hair away from 1btc until...

First of all, I don't understand why you insist on claiming you were "cheated". When you hit bet all the information was in front of you. There's no reason to assume that elements of our site would be exactly the same as another. Essentially this argument reminds me of people who are upset when they refresh the page and roll and notice that the roll over is reset back to the 49.5 default rather than what they had set prior. I'm pretty sure someone complained to Doog about the same issue claiming that PD resets the roll over and JD doesn't which confused them.

If you have any understanding of statistics you would understand that refreshing the page 1 million times would change your odds of winning. I've sent you over 10 replies via emai/PM and gave you a small refund despite completely disagreeing with everything you said. At the end of the day had you won the roll or rolled the other direction you wouldn't think twice and wouldn't be offering me a refund. I understand how frustrating it is to lose your money and I strongly urge users not to bet anything that they cannot afford to lose and play for fun instead.

I've responded to you a variety of times and marked your case as solved on email, if you decide not to use the site again that is fine but I will uphold my opinion that ensuring fair odds rather than magical seeds is what matters. I'm not interested in debating this matter further here. Ultimately I'm sorry about your loss but I don't feel the fault is mine and thus cannot return the entire bet in good conscience.

Any small issues like that are worked in PD3. We're finishing achievements right now and sorting out a bit of jquery work and general testing. We'll probably announce an official date of launch this weekend so users can begin withdrawing funds from pd2 accordingly.

Does this mean that PD2 will coexist with PD3, at least some time?

Potentially for a very brief amount of time (few days).

Stunna, You looking for beta testers or is it a open Beta?

We'll have some sort of soft launch for a few days which will act as an open beta of sorts.

That is a lot of negative comments for a casino that had 1.2billions bet, I don't find an other thread with more pages

I like the autobetting option that gives you the result immediately

They are fake bets.

Can you elaborate

I think there is a lot of bets because you can do 200bets in one sec

A casino with a 0.1% edge only is interesting

They are known scammers. I wouldn't trust anything they claim.

Hello!
Tonight my PrimeDice account was hacked and 0.71 BTC stolen by anonymous bad guy. He changed password someway and cashout my bitcoins.
Is any way to restrict password change on my account or make it possible only from my e-mail?
Sorry for my bad English!

Hey,

Please email support and we will try our best to help out and recover any stolen/misplaced funds.

Thanks

Please be wary of new campaigns. We are now dealing with fairly high level of BTC, and when newcomers to the community offer higher rates, it is not certain you will be paid out.

With PrimeDice you will always be guaranteed payment. With that being said all other services are obviously legit until proven otherwise. Whilst I like to keep up with competition, when newcomers offer increasingly higher rates with low levels of trust, I do not see this as viable.

Happy posting Smiley
