2281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Circulating supply matters to you? on: March 29, 2023, 09:07:42 PM
When the token circulation is large enough, then you need to have a large amount of liquidity to avoid falling prices, no one can control the price of tokens in the market, but too many tokens are not good for the price of tokens in the future.
Falling prices for every project are unavoidable. You will not know when they are about to fall but having these factors like the circulating supply and its market cap will give you an idea of whether to proceed to invest and hold it.

therefore tokens need to have a max supply
Except the meme coins that has unlimited supply and that determines the price for each of them because if a project has a limited supply, how much it got can easily be computed and you'll project the future price of it, market cap and your potential profit. I am sure that many does that before they invest.
2282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Laszlo Hanyecz see it as 10,000 BTC or as $41? on: March 29, 2023, 08:48:49 PM
It's true that many of us see our bitcoin tied with USD but what we can do with that? Since its value is depending on that, it is what it is and that can't be changed.
But these days, it's important to look at that matter to see of how much bitcoin we've got and that should be looked at, like btc/btc or btc = btc. And that's how we're seeing the importance of it on these times because in the future, the price, the value itself will increase and that's the reason why we're looking at with that valuing because soon we may value anything by just having it through satoshis and not depending on dollar value.
2283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a casino ever run without the government's awareness? on: March 29, 2023, 01:49:47 PM
Yes, it's possible.
You know that the government will just intervene when the company is quite big already. They'll do all the means to track the owners down and make the business at risk by applying such laws that haven't been seen by the developers.
If the law states that they can't do it then that's questionable because they didn't enforce it when it was just launched. But it's because the company was too small to be considered and apply the law on them. That's mostly the status of many startups and even new casinos, it's like a test and dry run for them. If it's a success, they'll be recognized and too big not to be noticed.
Decentralized gambling might not be profitable because it will attract fewer customers. This is because people might not trust these gambling platforms, because they don't have a license to operate in a particular country. Gamblers will always want to deal with casinos that are registered in a jurisdiction in case of litigations.  CBDCs are centralized and controlled by the central banks of these nations and if the government mandates these casinos to use them, they don't have any option but to use It. The truth is that people will always prefer cryptocurrencies to using CBDCs.
That's for real, most consumers, customers, and gamblers prefer the centralized one. It's hard to gain traction with the decentralized type of gambling of how flawed the system is for those that have tried it first. And another thing is that we're just used to the common centralized type of gambling. Another factor is about the news that have been made all about these decentralized things like exchanges and even in gambling, so that impression is hard to be removed from those that have heard a lot of how not friendly they were.
2284  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: ETH - 1ST QUARTER PRICE PREDICTION FREE (2023) on: March 29, 2023, 01:17:03 PM
$1800 na Ethereum at mukhang si Johnyz ata magwawagi ha.  Grin

$1,700.00 - julerz12
$1,759.00 - crzy
$1,888.88 - Johnyz
$2,000.00 - blockman

2285  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [CHISMIS] Lapiña’s JML Capital on: March 29, 2023, 12:24:54 PM
2286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoins to Buy During Dip on: March 28, 2023, 11:57:57 PM
I'm buying algorand, flow, Arbitrum and secret network right now,
Secret Network? Do you mean SECRET(SCRT)? (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/secret/)

my altcoin portfolio is more than just one, I have good numbers of altcoin that I believe in, if one can do 10x I have already recover all my capital back, the rest are free money, if you diversify your position you will be fine.
That's a good explanation and you don't have to be too greedy about it. You're doing just fine but it's much better if you also include bitcoin on your portfolio even you're having a lot of altcoins already.
2287  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best time to buy bitcoin. on: March 28, 2023, 11:27:41 PM
Thank you bro, and if investing in short term there is definitely something to think about. Because one of the roles to play in trading is to buy when the market is down and sell when the market is up, so I have to adopt a different strategy. Where I have to take trading action based on the market.
Remember to do it when you're prepared and ready. People blame themselves and those influencers that they're seeing sharing and telling that it's the best time to buy bitcoin now. Even if this is the best crypto of all, still can't deny those people that have been too reliant on others' influence having no decisions for themselves. You buy and blame yourself on whether it will end up good or bad based on the decision you'll do. Because no matter what happens, buying bitcoin is the best decision that anyone can do. And most favorably, to the long term holders that do believe that its price will rise after the halving.
2288  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is more profitable trading ETH/USD or ETH/BTC on: March 28, 2023, 11:04:24 PM
If you're into accumulation then pair with other altcoins and not with a stable coin but if you want your trades to have a based form like in fiat (USD) then it's best to pair it with a stable coin or fiat.
Talking about what's more profitable depends on how you're closely taking a look at the market because either is profitable. And only you alone can approve and verify that based on your trading activities and style.
You trade in USD so you'll have the structural form of your trades and you've got the idea too easy because you're all relying to the value of your pair on USD.
2289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Raccoin Crypto Mixer (USDT TRC-20 ONLY) [raccoin.co] on: March 28, 2023, 10:22:42 PM
Welcome to the forum there have been a lot of mixers lately after the biggest competitors were seized by the authorities. But I have never thought that USDT can be mixed. Well, maybe the idea starts with the tornado cash that happens to be available for ETH transactions.
@OP, if it's getting the attention of everybody. I think you need to add all of those details on your first post so that it can be quickly seen.
2290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is crazy on: March 28, 2023, 10:02:18 PM
Something crazy is going on, I was watching some price predictions of my favorite altcoins on Youtube yesterday and I was a few videos about some women that claimed that God revealed to them that a certain amount of crypto projects will bring huge amount of money to those who invest in them, are you ready for this?

Shiba inu was predicted to reach 50$ per token, this woman said God revealed this price to her, another channel which is also a lady claimed that God said Shiba inu will be the new wealth transfer for people in few years to this time.

I read some comments and I saw how many people belief in this prophecy, has anyone seen something like this before. What do you believe?
That's shilling to the next level and whoever will buy that vision is totally unbelievable. I also believe in God but when it's come to this, I doubt that there's an actuality of those specific projects and prices. But then, it's their belief and only they can verify if it actually happened or not.
Always try to check both sides of telling the truth and if it's sort of a lie. Don't be too gullible with ways of advertising and shilling the projects and make sure that you're DYOR before following someone's opinion about the project that they're talking. Always take it with a grain of salt.
2291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Skill Based Slot Machines on: March 28, 2023, 09:23:30 PM
I have never tried it and don't even know what a skill based slot machine is like because as far as I know, slot games are just luck based. And if you are unlucky, you lose. But if something could offer the perks of getting a spin bonus like @OP said, I suspect some gamblers are willing to try it. Gamblers will always look for something new that can provide an opportunity to win from gambling because they have often experienced defeat. Since I didn't know the type of skill-based slot machine yet, I still favored the traditional slots found in online casinos.
I don't also want to go too deep with that. Slots are better to remain as luck based and if there have been some changes made by the slots providers or any developer to make it just as skilled based game, I don't think that it will click. There's already the belief that it's a luck based game and that's the fun starts. I have not known any casinos that do have it but if there's the reinvention on this, those who wants to try, may try it if that's what you want. I'll just stick to what I've used to.
2292  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we experience $80k this year? on: March 28, 2023, 08:53:30 PM
With this massive pump few days ago, you still doubt if the price will reach $80 before the end of this year. Since the price has moved to $28 in this month of march show that investors will surely experience high price that will make them to start releasing BTC for sale soon because, the price will increase higher than this current price in the market. Based on what is happening in the cryptocurrency market made many long term investors to believed that they will sell their coins when the price of their satisfaction come before the end of this year which it will surely come any moment from next 5 months.
The time will truly come for everyone to sell their bitcoins and even I, I've got my plans to sell when I see the price go high. And $80k is just one of the targets of many and that's close to the $100k line that everyone is thinking. If we've got a DCA strategy in accumulation, there's also the DCA type of style in selling. So, if it hits $80k then it is no doubt that many will sell at that price before it reaches to $100k and because many don't want to miss that as how many have missed selling at the peak of $69k.
2293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Tether crash to $0? on: March 28, 2023, 08:19:42 PM
Come to think of it, before this whole FTX and Binance drama begins people already have it in mind that USDT will go to zero, some are speculating that USDT will bring the next bear market to crypto, instead it started with FTX and now the banks, other stable coins are the ones affected, no single touch on USDT. This is  Cheesy Cheesy laughable.
It's a speculation but likely that it can happen if things got crumpled for Tether. With what happened to UST and Luna, the stablecoin that it has got went down to zero until there's a new launching of its new stable coin. While for Tether, it's been the most known crypto in terms of stable coins but anything can happen on it as the US dollars have been more in the circulation and there's still the issue for USDT that it have about printing issue as well.
2294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is the next altcoin season? on: March 28, 2023, 03:05:36 PM
Do we have any idea when the next altcoin season is due?
It's most likely before the pump of bitcoin, you'll hear people say that it could happen by the end of this year but nothing is certain for this year. But what's certain is that by next year bitcoin will have its halving and that will lead again for the price of it to pump which will lead to altcoin season again. The cycle sometimes isn't being followed and we don't know if that's going to be the exact time that it will pump.
Once the bull run is activated, all of the efforts being done during this phase through accumulation will be paid off.
2295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 28, 2023, 11:59:31 AM
Finally, a win for Dallas Mavericks.
I like what Coach Jason Kidd did there, use McGee if you need some height, he is in their roster for a reason so better use him. Don't just stick with Powell especially if they are up against a team whose strength is using the paint. Without Haliburton and Hield, the Pacers will surely attack the rim to get points.
Credits to Jaden Hardy too for helping out the Mavs on the offensive end.
Yeah, those outside shootings that have been done were perfect. It was most of them that have outside shooting and if they become consistent in doing it, they'll also get the shot and win against their next opponent which is against 76ers.
That was also an advantage for the Pacers that it was under their homecourt but still then, they've been blasted with outside and three-point shooting. Luka sent a lot of threes there.

Meanwhile the Joke posted a monster triple double ( his 100th ) with 25 points (8-11 FG), 17 rebounds, and 12 assists.

Well Embiid always complains he can't get MVP but if you dodge the big players all you get is 2nd place sometimes.

LOL, I also saw this one a while ago.  Grin

2297  Local / Pamilihan / Re: 5 Steps to Cash-in to Philstocks with Coins.ph on: March 28, 2023, 09:33:22 AM
Oo si gcash, may gstocks na din. (https://www.yugatech.com/news/what-is-globe-gstocks/)
Hindi po ata lahat pwede mag GStocks no?
  • Gstocks PH
  • Gstocks Global
2298  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Epekto ng AI on: March 28, 2023, 08:56:19 AM
2299  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 1$ per day crypto investment plan any good ? on: March 27, 2023, 10:53:46 PM
The only thing that you'll be worried on this strategy is the fee. Transaction fees, makers fee and other types of fees when you're already in the exchange.
It's discouraging if you're going to calculate it but since you just want to be consistent on it, nothing matters as long as you're eager to do what you've planned.
We'll get more bitcoins in terms of satoshis and that's much better than having nothing. You don't know how each bitcoiner is struggling to make ends meet and if someone is doing something for his own portfolio, it should be acknowledge any strategy he does.

In fact, the plan may not be effective because transaction fees and other types of costs will indeed be a challenge for OP if implementing this strategy.
But you are right, everyone has their own way of owning Bitcoin whether it's by trading or investing or whatever way they have Bitcoin and of course each person will have a different nominal amount that will be used, the most important thing is that it must be adjusted to their abilities and it's better if they already have the desire to get started rather than have no plans to start at all.
But here what I'm focusing on is the OP's intention to want to start even with a low nominal, this is an intention that we must appreciate.
If done consistently it is good because it will build a good consistent habit of investing, while OP starts investing in small amounts he has to learn more to find more effective ways before increasing the nominal amount to be used to invest.
Right, the initiative that OP has shown is more than already for someone to have the courage to invest in bitcoin. The matter is that he's willing to do it in every way that he can and depending on his capacity. That's why if there's his will wanting to buy, he'll do everything he can based on the budget that he's got. But he has to consider those that we've said about this strategy like he needs to save all of it first before buying and it's okay if it's not going to happen on a daily basis and like maybe after a week or two or more, as long as he keeps the money on his hand and buys it bitcoin. As you've said, he has to do it consistently and he'll see the difference why we're telling people that they all have to buy bitcoin and they'll see the reason why when it goes up again.
2300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about this? on: March 27, 2023, 10:16:15 PM
I am also a Christian but our church strictly prohibits all forms of gambling because the reason is that people who become gambling addicts will only commit crimes to gamble and not everyone is able to control it
All if not the majority of Christian churches don't allow gambling, it's a sin for all of that types of churches.

however, if the church in Uganda makes sense of what the priest is doing then they really go too far, and the domino effect that will occur will truly be unstoppable, many other priests will become gamblers and close their churches
It's an act that can't be removed too quick and that's why people go to churches for them to remove vices like this. But if the pastor is the one that has it, how can those members hope to remove that vice of them if the one that teaches them also has it? It's a sad situation for those members that have been left by him but also, it's better to be seen that situation too early before it's too late.
