1341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin vs XRP? on: June 27, 2023, 11:42:59 AM
Didn't they win already the case? I thought that they've won already the case and that's why a lot of XRP supporters have came out to suggest this again to the others as it might cause a pump soon. But still, I wouldn't have it as an asset.
They have not won yet but they are expected to and some say it will be announced in weeks others say months.
I see, I thought that the case was done and they're already cleared with their case against SEC. Perhaps, this is the reason I'm starting to see people getting crowded on discussions in many places talking about XRP.

They will likely win which is why I am betting on them and hopefully it sees a good pump - I am then planning on putting most of the profits in Bitcoin.
I'm not a fan of theirs but those that have invested on it a lot and waited for a long time including a friend of mine, I just wish that all of you will get the profit that you deserve from it.

trust no one this space, everyone tends to put themselves first and that's okay, I'm my number one priority.
Not just in this space but everywhere and as a whole cyberspace.

If the lady's so eager to help, let her share the platform with you, you make your research too to be sure you're not been mislead even though your story says so already.
If a stranger lady comes to suggest platforms that are unknown, don't be sure about that and even if it sounds and looks like a legit platform. Check out the platform itself because it could be a phishing platform that just copied the official ones.

Be careful, women are not an exemption of scamming activities this days.
Everyone is a target, and scammers don't choose what they will victimize and don't be gullible as scammers comes in all forms.
1343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin vs XRP? on: June 27, 2023, 07:27:56 AM
Bitcoin is the king of crypto so when it's compared to XRP I don't think we need to doubt it anymore,
We can't stop people from comparing Bitcoin to XRP and any other cryptocurrencies, we do get that a lot.

Regarding investing in XRP, I think that with the current conditions it is certainly too risky,
we have to see more and hope that XRP can win against the SEC.
Didn't they win already the case? I thought that they've won already the case and that's why a lot of XRP supporters have came out to suggest this again to the others as it might cause a pump soon. But still, I wouldn't have it as an asset.

1345  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May Mga Influencer Ba Tayo Na Tutok Sa Cryptocurrency? on: June 27, 2023, 05:37:30 AM

1346  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin trading be my sole source of income? on: June 26, 2023, 10:46:55 PM
For yourself, you should understand that no one and nothing will solve your problems, except for yourself. If you approach the work responsibly, then you can really achieve pretty good results.
If it works for him then it works. But coming up with the idea of quitting jobs for trading, you have to make sure that you're doing well and you're making a profit that's enough or more than enough to your needs. Why not do both of it while practicing and if you think that you're good to quit your day job for trading bitcoin and dealing with this tough market, you decide. There have been traders that are jumping from market to another one if they think they're not profitable with the first one. And the logic is just the same on it where you'll look for the market like the topic we've got, bitcoin. That you know you can dominate it and even if some losses may come, that's pretty normal but you've got higher percentage of wins to your trades than losses.
1347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guilty of promising not to gamble for specific days but back next day on: June 26, 2023, 10:28:25 PM
The addictions that come with gambling when someone becomes addicted are not something that can be quit with only a simple "will not do it again" statement. The ability to stop gambling requires a lot of discipline.
Taking it from those words will just give you the courage but it's not enough for you to quit. Right, it requires discipline and a lot of it should be applied if you truly desire to quit. But then if not, you're one of those that will be back eventually.

Anyone who continues to bet after making a pledge not to do so needs to work on finding something else to occupy their thoughts. Even if it's to engage in some exercises or something else that will keep his attention off gambling because most people who are addicted to gambling started out of being bored and greedy to the level that they can't go a day without getting themselves engaged in it.
Greed is one of the reasons why they can't quit. It's ok to do it casually but when it is too much, that's one of the hardest things that a gambler has to deal with.
The idea of putting the attention into something else will help, many gamblers I have seen did this that they successful get to quit and control their addiction.
1348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: June 26, 2023, 09:54:58 PM
The influence that this fight can make on the stock market is by just having it emotional. But I don't think that there will be a direct impact on each of their own companies' stock prices when this fight happens. We don't know, since every single news that comes does affects the market just as how the crypto market is affected by the news, good or bad. With Elon and Mark, this is just a like a game of billionaires that they want to have a pastime. Nothing influential but just having pure fun to them unless they want to put some betting personally to each themselves wherein it's gonna put more interest on it. Well, this fight itself is totally fun already and more attention to it when the actual match happens.
1349  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Submarine missing ^Titanic disaster 2023 on: June 26, 2023, 01:09:33 PM
That is mankind. Always trying to conquer the world or some aspect of it. Sometimes doing it carelessly.

Cool
It cannot be stopped. I did see some footage of it with those first explorers, I think it was two or three groups that got to the sub first. The first group that I've seen did dive for a few meters but discontinued for some others. If someone is interested with that video, I just saw that on Facebook and likely it's also in YouTube. I just forgot the name of that content creator. While many keeps on doing things for their own sake and glory, this is a tragic way of exploring and getting into adventure not knowing what you'll be ending up.
1350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't gamble if you don't have patience on: June 26, 2023, 10:37:42 AM
It is quite unwise to play with unstable emotions or physical fatigue, because when we gamble in such circumstances we will lose our logic and tend to gamble without considering our own financial condition.
Actually unwise wholly when you're being pushed by your emotions and if you're in the right mind and you think that you've got unstable emotions, you better not touch any of your balance if you've got plans of withdrawing it. Gambling is also a mental game when you're out of it whether you're just waiting for your withdrawal and you find yourself wanting to enjoy, just do your own thing of keeping yourself retained.

So there is no need to be surprised that most of the gamblers who lose are those who are emotionally and physically exhausted, either because they keep losing or because they are tired after coming home from work or other health problems. That is why gambling must be ready physically and mentally so that in this way we will be able to achieve good performance in our games.
But if someone insists to gamble knowing that he's into that status of mentally and emotionally unstable, you know what you might get for the results.
1351  Economy / Economics / Re: How billionaires are really affecting the economy. on: June 26, 2023, 09:16:20 AM
Only few billionaires are ready to help.
That's why those billionaires that are also philanthropists are given recognition for what they're doing not just for giving people jobs. But also for doing something in return for the success that they're getting. I think that it's their part to do their share if they're mostly impacting negatively some space especially in natural resources, carbon emissions and other factors that affect people globally. Nevertheless, it's going to be said that they have no obligation in helping.

👉👉Wide-ranging increases in taxation of the super-rich, and we call on world governments to tax multi-millionaires and billionaires
You know what, this is what these super rich people are great and that's to exempt themselves from taxation or at least reduce it legally.
1352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie Crypto Advice on: June 26, 2023, 12:54:39 AM
Hello I am looking to invest my 20,000 dollars for retirement but I don't know the best crypto for me to put into to save myself from inflation.
Steven, hello and welcome to the forum. That $20k is the lumpsum of your retirement fund, right? We don't advise you to put everything of it on crypto not because we don't want you to be here but because you need to start it out by knowing it actually through your own understanding. We all want to defeat inflation and that's why investing in bitcoin is one of the best hedge against it. Despite that, we don't want you to walk into shadows or being blindfold having that lot of money.

I'm 64 years old and don't have the time to learn the ins and outs of this crypto stuff so if anyone can give me advice I would appreciate it.
You can contact me through the forum or via email I appreciate the help
Work on it, if you don't have time of learning it. At least know the basics of it and you're all good. That's all what we want you to know first before investing that hard earned money of yours. But much better that don't all in of it since you're already 64 and we don't know your sources of income and this could possibly be your last money.
1353  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing and trading in crypto: can make you or mar you. on: June 25, 2023, 11:58:45 PM
The whole point of this is that you never know for sure whether the price will go down or up. You should always remember that if someone has lost money, then someone else has earned it.
That's the logic in trading and that's why we do see huge institutional companies slaughtering the retail and small traders for their personal gain. And they're all doing that with the start of sending FUD to the market.

This is the first rule of trading, don't trade with money you can't lose.
While many newbies think that trading is a gateway to riches. The time of making them realize that this is a brutal market, especially for them that shall teach them the hardest way is that they're willing to lose money at set in the beginning. But then, they should limit themselves in spending because they'll all learn these lessons along their way upon being familiar to this market they're in.
1354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 25, 2023, 11:26:15 PM
I don't know what is up with the Phoenix Suns lately because they kept on changing their rosters instead of keeping them intact to have a much deeper connection and bond with each other to improve their rhythm. I'd say that the Suns are so thirsty to have that chip on their franchise and having those rush decisions just because of their thirst will just lead them into another unwanted road. I mean, Tobias Harris in-exchange for Ayton? C'mon man!
They're not just comfortable with their current roster setup and they think that changing a lot will make them stable and get on a better finish this upcoming season. Honestly, I think that they should have just kept their roster and just make a few changes if it's really necessary. These set of trades and firing that they've made changed totally a lot on them, a lot of money also spent but we will never know until the season comes if they're well spent or not. Anyone looking to the Rockets that these trades should be on them to take actions? Or any rumor within the team and about the trade offers that they're getting and offering to other teams?
1355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: June 25, 2023, 10:56:58 PM
The same stereo is being done for those males that are into gambling. People in my country will think of them as people that are not good in finances and they have no future. So, there's no far difference from the stereotype that both genders are having. I guess it varies from the cultural setting and the span of the gambler on how long he's been gambling. I know people, females actually that are in gambling and the reality on what's being said on them were true that they've got crap finances and they can't help themselves on many situations.
1356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When is the right time to buy bitcoin before the halving? on: June 25, 2023, 10:19:50 PM
So the price of bitcoin will cross the value of 40k in this July month.
You can't be sure about that as it can go stagnant and stay on the $30k mark for several months. But I'd love to see it again back in $40k and so $30k-$35k could become the support.

It’s essentially to hold for the longer period,So it help us to earn more money from it.July month will going to be a huge rise in the price of bitcoin. It’s essentially to hold till this year end for more profit.
I am not this confident but after the halving, that's where my confidence is going to grow. So July is still a good time to buy without any expectations that by that month if it's gonna be fine and nothing unusual could happen.
1357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next bull market comes in June on: June 25, 2023, 09:47:22 PM
Well... You were right but I expect bull run this July, I saw lots of new projects delayed their token sales to July...
All of the alt coins will be pumping this summer, we'll see the rise again
Before with all projects, it doesn't mean that there are a lot of projects that are good to have, and delaying their tokens by July doesn't also sound good. I just don't like to hear a project that's coming up with the idea of slowing their tokens. You will know that if you're an investor of a project and it happens to announce that there's a delay on what they're doing and you also have invested and bought their tokens too early. Another thing is you can't have accurate market timing predictions, it's hard but no one can stop anyone from doing so.
1358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you find it offensive to be referred to as an addicted gambler? on: June 24, 2023, 03:02:59 PM
This is so on point.

If you really care for someone, you will point out their shortcomings so that they can do better. It will help them address the things that needs to be straightened in order to be the better version of themselves. But of course, it is needed that we do it in a caring and concern manner, not in an insulting and condescending way that they will feel bad about themselves.
There are times that we take it personally even if the person is just caring for us and telling us what we're at. Although the concern of those that addresses people who are really addicted in gambling and needs some control should be taken into account.

Because instead of helping out, you may come off as aggressive and bully to them that they have to avoid.
That's right, people are aggressive when they're being addressed but I think if I'll be called that, I can't also deny that I may feel the same thing as what the others feel that way.
1359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 40 Twitch accounts for gambling advertising on: June 24, 2023, 12:57:06 PM
I remember when it was like that there's the news from Twitch that they're gonna be strict with streaming channels that have content of casinos and gambling.

One more thing that i can`t understand. As for me it is just a waste of time. I can`t say nothing bad about these people - they find a way of easy getting money playing for fun. And i can understand when someone watching it for 15-30 minutes for relax. But lots of spectators watching it all day long... I can`t understand it.
It's entertainment to those that are watching it. Like we're into poker, we will look for live games that do play poker. Otherwise, this is pure fun to watch people get to gamble whether it's a sponsored one or not.
1360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We All Know, The halving time will be full of drama on: June 24, 2023, 11:08:31 AM
Let's hope that people out there investing in Bitcoin can stay calm as per your advice. The problem is that many of them can't calm down but panic when they see the price changing constantly.
That can't be helped but by going through with more experience. Most of these investors don't have a say in their emotions and only see the market based on how they look at it.

It seems they need to learn more to manage their emotions.
I agree, many don't manage their emotions and this will continue to keep going on until they panic sell or lose hope when they sell too early.
