2302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum whales bullish on Shiba Inu price on: February 16, 2022, 08:21:44 AM
I see a whale's play here and I think it's a risky one but if indeed it will be successful then I'd see a huge probably of profit here. If indeed a bull run will be reclaimed I think these altcoins like Shiba Inu will see a massive upside and who knows it will join the top 10 with the highest market cap on CMC.
2303  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Crypto and The Music Industry on: February 15, 2022, 09:56:09 PM
Panahon na ba for these local companies to seek out the Metaverse? Would you consider watching a live metaverse concert?
2304  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC over 50k? on: February 15, 2022, 09:38:02 PM
http://festyy.com/eaI4ss

Nonetheless, experts may seem to predict the current situation and that bitcoin will likely experience a steep drop in the upcoming months.
But is it really possible for bitcoin to achieve $50k by march? Given that the market is currently declining.
What are your thoughts on this?
Possibilities are endless in the crypto market and it may even be reached even just for a single day. I think the market isn't declining I am assuming it's just on the phase of accumulation, there are likely good news lately. In the long term 50k may act as a support and it's best to think ahead and on the long term than speculating shorter time frames.
2305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why a single bet is better than a multi bet. on: February 15, 2022, 09:12:49 PM
One good resume can be. If you wanna win big money without having a big bank, go for multibets.
If you wanna win big money and have a BIG bank go for singles bets with a ton of knowledge.

And you need to know your psychology. Why? because for example i really struggled a lot to put a big ammount of money in one single Bet. Its a thing i cant do, also if i have a ton of insurance in the bet.
Both was an option and they have a different reason to do. Single bet was more like an all-in and a side with a luck but only if you do it right. Been betting multibets in the past but haven't got a luck since your bet was spread and it decreases considering you need to get the correct guesses on all in order to win huge.
2306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto stuck in sports betting site, now they want KYC on: February 15, 2022, 01:48:16 PM
Is this a good idea and do you think it will work? Worth the $1,200? My only hesitation at this point is asking the friend and they go through the hassle but then it goes sideways and still do not gain access to my account.
I think it's not worth it even if you do the KYC they'll still ignore your request at all considering you're from USA and their T&C wasn't allow such citizen. It's a worthless initiative I guess even if you pass a KYC. If somehow you can ask some friends that doesn't care on their privacy and information as well then I guess you'll still be in luck. That amount may not be huge for a US citizen I guess, it's your call if you want to do the necessary things.
If that happened in my case, I will comply with the KYC since I'm not really concerned about these identity-related issues if the involved site is somehow reputable. But since OP stated that even complying with KYC won't clear this mess, then it will change my view that why should I still submit if there will be no good outcome later on.

That being said, OP should now try everything if the eagerness to get the amount is really important. While at the same time, OP should now slowly accepts that the issue might not be resolved.
OP shouldn't have to comply unless it can be resolved by another entity in regards to the KYC procedure. It will just be a wasted effort if OP pass it even at the end it will be rejected, that's totally a suicide move on his/her part. I think the amount wasn't that huge on his/her side considering a US citizen that enjoying the hobby of gambling.

2308  Other / Meta / Re: [Ban Request] 1xbit signature spammer. Do you agree? on: February 14, 2022, 09:17:24 PM
It's easy to click the "ignore" button.
That's easy, but you shouldn't do it often enough when you come across spam. Just like finding the ignore button, the report to moderator button is also easy to find. I wouldn't ignore it as it's not a good choice when you care about forum rules about posting spam. Report the post if you believe it is spam.
Well, I know that there's spam ongoing but what's the point if the mods deleted the spam but they can do it once again? And, we aren't talking here about 2-5 users who continue these spams, there are a lot of them. My point here isn't about deletion as it may a hassle for myself alone to report it, I do care about forum rules but if you're asking mods to purge them all at once since they do these countless spamming I think that's better rather than just delete them one by one.

I believe your point but my opinion is to just ignore them since you can't filter them all as spamming when there are rare posts who are still on topic. I'm not defending them but it's just my opinion to ignore them all.
2309  Other / Meta / Re: [Ban Request] 1xbit signature spammer. Do you agree? on: February 14, 2022, 12:57:13 PM
I agree but it should be taken into consideration on who are those users that may have the permaban tags. Been ignoring lot of them to be honest these recent days so that I may not see their posts at all. I think everyone who are allergic at their posts would do the same right now that most of them lurk here and haven't been banned yet may it temporary or permanent. It's easy to click the "ignore" button.
2310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 14, 2022, 12:44:23 PM
There is a really nice game tomorrow morning between Clippers and Warriors. And Warriors are playing against the other Los Angeles team after defeating Lakers by a close score gap. Clippers and Lakers are having a similar season now actually. Warriors are still highly the favourite to win this game like they were against Lakers too. I wonder whether we will see another great show by Thompson and Curry. Thompson was great against Lakers and I'm expecting a similar performance from him in this one too.
I'm expecting a Warriors win with this match, should be a one-sided show I guess. I think Clippers wasn't having the same season with Lakers when both of Clippers best player isn't out there making shots compare to Lakers roster that has a healthy best players. As I've said it will be a one side show and expecting some flash scores from their best players.
2311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Shiba Inu community is enraged by Microsoft's recent tweet on: February 12, 2022, 04:58:58 PM
What do you think guys? Lots of people tweeted about this topic. Is it an opportunity to go up for SHIB?
Your title was way too misleading to be honest. If they are enraged why'd it may call for an opportunity? If it will go up why would they be enrage if Microsoft will lift them up? I don't think that there's relationship on the tweet regarding Shiba Inu, I doubt it this time, but I think maybe you're one of the army of SHIB community or you can just speculate all you want. Just to burst the bubble but no intention to hate the SHIB community.
2312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 12, 2022, 02:58:23 PM
There was a visible problem when Harden was at Nets. There was more than one player who got a leader character. And this was causing some conflicts in the team. Now he can play freely and lead his new team. And I'm expecting him to make a good duo with Embiid there. Harden would play as a point guard and Embiid would score like always. This would bring an extra power to Sixers. They are already doing very nice in the regular season and they can perform better than this in the playoffs like this.
Well, the trade has been done and it can't be altered anymore seems that was the Nets wanted in the first place since they let him go, let's assume that was the reason. Hope he do feel good and lead the Sixers to a ring this year if that was also Harden wanted, and hope as well that there wouldn't be conflict anymore in this leader character.

Embiid and Harden has altercations in the past during games but wishing them well that it's all over now and they moved on.
2313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Support and Resistance on: February 12, 2022, 11:47:00 AM
Its my first indicator used when I started trading few years ago a very simple indicators yet really effective. The most common reason why most new traders who are using this is not successful is because they have NO patience, too early to buy and sell even indicators are clear, I sometimes fall for this one but proper timing and following this indicators can give you great result.
Not my first but when I learn it, it use to be my favorite since it's easy to understand. I use to identify this during breakout then waiting for a retest on those support levels I use to chart. I use to pair it with volume and Fibonacci indicator since I try not to clog my chart since it was difficult to read and messy.
2314  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rapper wins 1,3M$ on: February 12, 2022, 09:23:56 AM
i don't think he made the stake.com crash.  even though i don't have an account on stake but i'm sure they have a large reserve of funds to pay the players who win big.  despite the rumors that this is just a stake marketing trick, i just think this news is legit.
Of course he can't, just read the response above by @seoincorporation that there's another whale that win big compare to what Drake could won. Stake is a huge casino and the bet has just been made and Drake hasn't won yet so it's still a 50/50 chance. The OP title was misleading too since there's nothing has been won yet, we have to wait for it until the end of game on Monday.
2315  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rapper wins 1,3M$ on: February 12, 2022, 05:32:30 AM
1 & 2, the news source should be issued by a canadian website not ukraine, the 3rd one according to my understanding, Although Drake did post three betting pictures on the Stake site, it's still questionable if he actually did.
Just because it is published by a Ukrainian media does not make it any less credible. Moreover, if we google it, we see that numerous media from all over the world echo the bet.
Top news shows lot of credible news platform and notable crypto focused media that it's a legit bet made by Drake and I guess the world is on it by now. Seems not that of a huge deal to Drake betting that kind of amount we know how lucrative his life is.

The question is maybe he's in contact with the Los Angeles Rams or something or he's advertising Stake but in a different way like betting on their platform? We may never know, this is just an speculation of mine. Who knows? The world of advertising is known for alterations and sometimes it's hidden in plain sight.

If you really had a lot of money, would you risk placing a $500,000 bet?
Drake seems onto Los Angeles Rams and confident they might win or even if it's not he for sure can afford that loss.
2316  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on its way to $100000?! on: February 11, 2022, 09:57:46 PM
The current state of Bitcoin is much better. Bitcoin has some support levels. If these levels go down, then there is a possibility of price reduction. However, the price of Bitcoin has dropped dramatically. He also recovered in a few weeks. But I don't think Bitcoin will ever go to 10K. I think it will be 100K by 2023. I think there is a possibility of a good pump at the end of this year.
Too big to fail and go to $10k in just a short amount of time, if $100k is first to be realized I think $10k will not be seen anymore considering past bear we got -80% correction. If we gonna be seeing the $100k valuation then we need to have more market cap from here on out maybe 5x from the current market cap. The sentiment was still here and that's the 6 figures Bitcoin valuation. WAGMI.
2317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance, led by Changpeng Zhao, is taking a $200 million stake in Forbes on: February 11, 2022, 09:43:54 PM
It's a step by step process for them to be known in the industry and I think CZ is a real genius when it comes to marketing, this will get them big time. There's a lot competition in the market and having media as a main thing then it will be different, we are run by stories everyday and these news aren't just to be taken lightly.

He use to be unorthodox I guess when it comes to marketing, who knows a crypto exchange would take part on mainstream media?
Yeah in terms of marketing strategies he is really a genius one. I often read his planning in his announcements and I find that the brilliant and according to the minds of people what he plan for his project. He reads what people want and provide that all in his project.

This time his investment in Forbes is also not a small step it will make a big role in promoting the crypto related knowledge all around the world which will make crypt the mainstream.
He's likely on the customer's side and that is why his exchange was still flourishing up to this day. It's been four years but it still remain strong even though we can see some critiques that it wasn't but it's part of the business, you can take this as a criticism to do more than normal.

Binance already got Binance Academy and I think that was a success, with his move to Forbes I think it's a different one but likely you have a point there. The thing with Forbes is that if you have no account there then expect you won't read any. Not new but perhaps there could be change on how mainstream media sites likes of Forbes to be free without those subscription processes.

~snip~
I think this website explained it Aljazeera/Bloomberg

2320  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A few key points distinguishing traders from gamblers on: February 11, 2022, 01:43:36 PM
Unfortunately, most people confuse trading with gambling, When they trade(gamble) and lose money, they blame the market or blame what causes the incompetence and justify it with poor excuses.
It is not easy to be a professional trader, but practice makes you confident in what you do for a job.
Both requires focus tbh but the longer you are trading the better your chances to be profitable since you are getting real experience and knowledge over time. Compare to gambling wherein it depends mostly on luck, in trading it isn't luck that determines it but your know-how and behavior towards trading.

You got some point, but I've read so many discussion already about trading and gamblers, but their meaning depends on a person's POV. Trading could be either on a high leverage or low leverage, depends on the trader.
Others say it was kind of gambling as well but I partially agree if the person doesn't know what he's doing and doesn't take some precautions like stop-loss feature or taking a profit on a certain level.
