In the first match, Germany underestimated the Japanese team, as it turned out, not only they did, but this mistake became fatal for them. In the match against Spain, everything was more difficult, but the draw was a fair result, well, in the last match they were good, but it was already too late. Germany was really not in the best shape, but they could reach the playoffs, if not for the selfless game of Japan, and perhaps if not for this scandalous out.
Yes the German team not only did not have the best results but apart from a flurry of attacking football in their final game, they really were not in the best shape physically or mentally.

I agree only about Belgium. After I saw the defeat of Brazil, Portugal (and before that other favorites) I was disappointed in almost all teams, so Germany was no worse and no better than other tops. I would not say that the departure of Germany was logical.
As for Belgium, everything was natural - a team with internal conflicts where some players do not talk to each other has no chance.
It seemed the German teams arrived here and showed arrogance as though they had a right not to only be there but also to stroll through to the next stage.

Round of 16 result. The USA are out of the tournament, it is the Netherlands who go through to the quarter-finals :

Netherlands 3-1 USA

The next game being played today is: Argentina vs Australia

@JollyGood honestly Germany and Belgium player’s need to ask themselves are they even worthy enough to play for their respective countries, because their performances were terrible and if possible both countries should change their entire squad for the next World Cup. Furthermore Japan is one team that’s stunned me, and if they go on to win the World Cup then I’ll truly regret not wagering on them when the odds were insanely high.
Belgium and Germany deserved on performances along to be sent home at the group stages. That Belgium golden generation was not so golden after all and as for Germany, it was inevitable because they simply were not good enough over the course of their games even though they won their final game comprehensively.

I have to say, Morocco stunned me.... This World Cup has featured some of the biggest upsets in history! ...and it totally messed with my multi bets... it's red all over for me.  Roll Eyes  Japan, topped the group with six points from their two upset games.  Undecided  Huh

So who do you think will cause some upsets in the knockout rounds, because I cannot afford to lose much more? Will the best teams in the world assert their dominance?
Morocco will probably go all out in their game against Spain with attacking football, I am expecting Morocco to win.

Ecuador had a disappointing run...... they have themselves to blame
Well, they celebrated like crazy when they beat host nation Qatar in the opening game. If they had celebrated a win it would have been fine but for them to have over-celebrated akin to humiliating the host nation - for that a lot of people thought Ecuador unfortunately deserved to be knocked out.
No, you can't blame them for celebrating their first win in such a big way. It was a big game with a lot of media attention, and everyone thought Qatar would have an advantage because they were the hosts, but we all saw what happened. I guess the celebration was also because they broke the long-standing record of the hosting always winning the first game. But, to be honest, they deserve it be eliminated because they failed the other two difficult tests.
I still feel they over-celebrated and that was a mistake on their part.

Morocco has been the most surprising team for me so far. I never trusted them because they were in a tough group and their chances of qualifying were slim. It's a feat that they went on to win Belgium and Canada and become the group leader; I'm sure no one saw that coming. Belgium is so unlucky to have Lukaku as their top striker; he had six sitters and missed them all in one of the country's' most important game; I can't believe we paid such a high price for him last season. He hasn't changed much. The team is, without a doubt, old, but he had the opportunity to send his country through but failed. So far, Belgium, Denmark, and German have been my biggest flops.

Kai Havertz prevented the most embarrassing scene last night... spoiled the party for Costa Rica
Belgium, Denmark and Germany have all disappointed but Morocco I think will beat Spain, I think they will do it. Morocco and Senegal are the only African teams left in the tournament and they will go all out to win as they are knockout games. In an otherwise meeting Senegal would stand very little chance of beating England but this is the world cup and anything can happen. The same goes for Morocco, Japan and South Korea.

It would be great to see nations other than the regular successful ones going far in the tournament too.

Results from the games played:

Ghana 0-2 Uruguay
Korea Republic 2-1 Portugal
Cameroon 1-0 Brazil
Serbia 2-3 Switzerland

From Group G, even though Cameroon beat Brazil today it was not enough because Switzerland beat Serbia to go through to the next stage. In Group H Portugal and South Korea are though whereas Uruguay and Ghana are knocked out.

Here are the final Group G and Group H tables:

Well, at least he bothers to come out to explain his side of the story, As everyone is entitled to their opinions. so I guess its about whether you trust and experienced the project to determine if its legit.  Personally I have been using HunnyPlay.com for the last few months and have been satisfied with the experience thus far. Again this is my personal experience/ opinion. Best is to give it a try to for yourself.

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

The newbie account, which registered at 05:02:33 AM and after 6 minutes immediately found the right topic and, by an INCREDIBLE coincidence, turned out to be a happy client of the HunnyPlay.com service. OMG, it's such a cheap shilling, why even do that? Obviously this is a "paid" comment in support of HunnyFinance, and I would not be surprised that he (HunnyFinance) wrote it himself, creating an alt account to create fake support.
Surely this is much more than coincidence right?  Shocked

I just made my findings and came up with the conclusion that, for the fact that "Hunnyfinance" was inactive for 11 months, Just woke up, dropped his/her first post not up to 150 words, and got 34 merits in less than a minute, while the sender going dormant 3 minutes after till this very moment, is enough reason for suspicion and a clear indication that both accounts belong to one individual.

I see no reason why such a post should be given 34 merits, if not alt nor traded because it's not worth

Well there is a visual staring right at the screen showing possibilities of an alt-account but it is not conclusive but yes you are right about the merits and we have read what HunnyFinance has had to say about it too.

I have explained my side of the story here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5416930.msg61344886#msg61344886

I do understand this merit system is looked upon seriously in bitcointalk forum, and followed strictly by everyone, as I do now. Because of these merits, I have already been heavily reprimanded. These incidents are cast in stone and @HunnyFinance gotten lots of penalty for this.

That doesn't meant I am a scammer or I am running a shady project.

To me its about constant learning and progression. Having to face so much adversity on this issue in this thread again yet again, I am slowly learning the ropes of doing things right. Whatever has been done can't be changed, but I am doing what I can trying to fit in. Many have given advice and I am very grateful for it. Here's what we heeded and done from some advices given by the community:

1) We got a copper ranking nevertheless.

2) We are paying above market rate for signature campaigns, which I believe not only benefit my business, but also boost the economy of the community in bitcointalk. More will come. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5424288

3) Through my hunnyplay thread, I seeked advice on how to run a casino properly in bitcointalk. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5422950.0

4) I have also started a thread to try find people in the community to be ambassadors and affiliate in their countries.

If possible, instead of having to drill down on this issue again and again with the same pointers, let me know what other constructive advise can be done to explain myself better, to improve my account, to improve our casino business, or even benefit the community of bitcointalk.
Right now the only thing I can conclude is that you genuinely probably did not understand how the merit system worked in that you wanted merits to rank up and to provide a sense security for those associating your account with the website business you operate but you probably were unaware of this being looked upon in a negative way within the forum.

You gave your side of the story, whether it is 100% factual or not I see no reason why it should be held against you by members as long as they see nothing to be alarmed at (even if it is highly suspicious that coldice is an alt-account) as long as there is no more merit being given between the two accounts.

Having said that, I hope over time you manage to move away from the alt-account and merit issue and have your own stand alone position within the community. I wish you success in your business and hope you contribute to the forum with constructive posts as and when you are able to.

I think there could be another Brazilian World Cup victory. Brazil's team is exceptionally strong in every line, and they balance their offense and defense quite well that makes them more threatening and can aid in their fast development. Their defense can reverse the game even with or without the help of Neymar, they have a lot of attackers and playmakers, that make them a perfect team.
In a game against Switzerland, we witnessed the iconic players like Ronaldo Nazario, Robert Carlos, Kaka, and Cafu. They helped the team to win the 2002 World Cup in Japan and Korea.
I have to say, it is possible but the way they just about managed a win against Switzerland did not give me a lot of confidence in their display. They will be able to demonstrate their skills in their final group game and that might be enough to convince more people they are serious contenders to win the tournament.

I personally tend to adhere towards camp B. The reason being that if a lottery would have led to another schedule, meaning that France would have first met Tunisia and instead Denmark in the last game, chances are high that Denmark would have made it to the next round. But a world cup shouldn't involve moments of luck in that regard. The best teams should qualify. Imagine Tunisia would have made it if Australia vs. Denmark would have been a draw. I really think that changing 9 positions and letting players play where they usually never play is too much of so called "deserved luxury". When Dechamps sent his stars onto the pitch, the game took a turn and it was 9-0 attempts in favor of France whereas in the first half I believe it was 11-1 in favor of Tunisia. Although I get the point of deserved luxury and reducing risk for star players to get injured, I do see distortion in competition when Tunisia dominates France as if France was only half as good as Faroe Islands... Watching that game even hurt my eyes.

What do you guys think?
Do you think Deschamps was being disrespectful to Tunisia by fielding an over the top weakened side or he was just resting some players and giving a chance to others? The Tunisians deserved their victory overall because the French did not play with a sense of urgency until it was too late. They were strolling and it was not impressive which allowed the Tunisians to play strongly and win. I think Deschamps did disrespect Tunisia by fielding that starting eleven. Even the Faroe Islands would have played better than France that game  Shocked

If theymos had used that slogan it maybe could have been perceived as an endorsement of that particular website therefore maybe he decided to use something else. I would prefer your approach of mentioning exchanges too as it might be more effective but at least some sort of message is being put out there as a warning and that is a good thing.

I am actually glad theymos didn't use the standard slogan we keep hearing all over the place. Those who know what it means, are already not keeping coins with custodians. Those that don't, either don't care or are thinking it's (hopefully) not going to happen to me. Displaying it all over the place will probably not change things too much.

"Don't keep your money in online accounts" is OK, but If I could pick a message, I would be more specific and say: Don't keep your money on cryptocurrency exchanges. The same can be said for any other centralized services (like casinos), but it's the exchanges that cause most of the problems.

2391  Economy / Reputation / Re: REQUEST FOR ATTENTION OF: All 1xbit Signature Campaign Participants on: November 30, 2022, 10:48:53 PM
From what I can see, they have been focusing on their World Cup signature campaign. They are trying to lure new customers to their website by using the football tournament as a means of attraction but as long as members across the forum counter them by posting in their threads, it will have a negative impact on their plans. Add to that the tagging of accounts that promote their services then it somewhat works as a deterrent too.

I will update the OP then ~exclude and tag the accounts promoting 1xbit/1xbit1 within the next 48 hours.

Only two days before December and this is the month that they are most active in promoting their platform with their Christmas giveaways so expect them to launch a massive signature for this, if I remember they have 2 or three campaigns last December, and right now they have a campaign for the World Cup besides the regular campaign they could have 3 to 4 campaign this holiday season because this is the season where gamblers play the most.

The FIFA World Cup is the probably the biggest opportunity for local high street betting shops and online betting platforms to make a huge amount of money. It seems evidently clear 1xbit will be taking every opportunity to maximise their income by launching new promotions on their website, just as any genuine online casino would do but the difference is the reputation.

1xbit/1xbit1 have basically very little to no chance of getting any customers from here therefore the question arises why are they running signature campaigns?

Australia vs Denmark
Tunisia vs France
Poland vs Argentina
Saudi Arabia vs Mexico

Australia 0-0 Denmark
Tunisia 2-1 France
Poland 2-2 Argentina
Saudi Arabia 2-1 Mexico

In Group C Argentina and Mexico could be out if Argentina will fail to defeat Poland and Saudi Arabia defeat Mexico. In Group D what are the chances Tunisia will beat France to go through to the next round on goal difference? It is possible as long as Australia and Denmark draw their game.

I think it is very difficult for Manchester United to finish the season ahead of Liverpool. Because I don't see a more impressive game by them comparing to Liverpool. Yeah, Liverpool have had a really inconsistent run so far as well but they have a bigger potential than Manchester United anyway.
It is possible because Liverpool are playing mediocre football. Manchester United have played much better football than Liverpool this season.

First of all, Liverpool are more productive than them in the league right now. Manchester United's main problem has been this for a long time period. They just waste too many goal opportunities and this causes them to suffer a big hardship indeed. I expect to see Klopp making a good progress in the rest of the season. Liverpool had this kind of times before and they know how to deal with it as well.
You are wrong, Liverpool have not experienced this sort of form and league table position before since they signed Salah, this is the firs time in years Liverpool are playing so bad.

What do you mean difficult?  Man United is up by 4 points against Liverpool in the league.  It could be the other way around imho, as Liverpool has the UCL to worry about and getting top 4 in the league and the couple domestic cups.  United isn't in the same kind of pressure Liverpool is in judging from how much each of them spent on transfers during the summer.
Yes you are right. I have no idea why he would say something so obviously untrue.

It's not going to be that hard for Newcastle, looking at the current of Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham and United.  Lol.  Eddie Howe good, Newcastle good, Saudi oiler money good.  Wink
Well, Newcastle United have been playing exciting football therefore would we be surprised if they managed to finish in the top 4? I am expecting them to drop to around 6th at the end of the season.

Qatar and Ecuador are knocked out of the tournament. Netherlands and Senegal qualify for the next round. Here is the final table for Group A:

My prediction on these two matches of Senegal and Ecuador and Netherlands and Qatar. Senegal will win Ecuador 2-0 while Netherlands will also win Qatar 2-0.
The Senegalese and Ecuador have line up to kick start the match.
Ecuador team looks very serious in this match. If Ecuador win this match they might declare public holiday like Saudi Arabia. Qatar will like to have point today because since they are the host of the tournament. Therefore, they (Qatar) will play well today and the match will be interesting.
A very good attempt  Smiley

Cameroon vs Serbia was a brilliant match to watch but that was followed by another great match when Ghana defeated South Korea. The best part of the Brazil game was to see how well Switzerland played. As expected, Portugal have gone through to the next round.

Belgium 0-2 Morocco
Croatia 4-1 Canada
Spain 1-1 Germany

It would be fair to say Japan was expected to win the game and qualify for the next stage but they lost to Costa Rica, that was a surprise but a bigger surprise was Belgium losing to Morocco. Canada cannot qualify for the next stage after losing both of their opening games.

Since you posted back here, I would like to mention some things.

First, I was disappointed with your conduct when you posted previously because you stated you received a lot more than $8000 and you stated you were very happy with the outcome. That confused several members including me because it seemed you were claiming $85,000. When you made your allegation you received a lot of support. You should have provided a better explanation.

Second, we still do not exactly what you signed up to, that includes the amount of money you received and the actual clauses that you were supposed to adhere to. You should have come back to the forum and told us what was offered to you by Owl Games and we could given our opinion on the way forward, maybe if had done you would not be facing these issues now.

The next logical step is for the forum Owl Games representative to post here. He did not present himself or Owl Games in a good light previously but we have to wait for them to post back with their version of events before commenting further.

Update:

I think OWL.games cheated me anyway,

I have even more proof.. Their compensation for me was not even 10% of total win.

A contract was signed in which I undertook not to disclose the terms of the contract.

However, next day I immediately consulted a lawyer (unfortunately, contract was already signed) and immediately informed OWL.games that I wanted to terminate their contract and would immediately transfer all their compensation back.

Why was the contract signed? I waited longer than 13 days for my winnings and I didn't expect to get anything back, so ...

Official answer from bgaming where they specify the maximum deadlines for reports - https://i.ibb.co/SPrkdt0/Screenshot-2022-11-27-at-04-01-00.png (updated)

I understand that by continuing this thread I risk legal action. I am ready, I have enough proof that OWL.games is deliberately cheating their customers.

A little later, I will provide more evidence.
