1481  Economy / Reputation / Re: After Chipmixer, Is Sinbad.io Next To Be Shutdown? on: May 29, 2023, 11:17:10 PM
I think, over time all mixers are going to be shut down by various government entities. Even if they are doing nothing illegitimate, for some reason everybody in law enforcement sees them as illegitimate. I will also say, with more and more exchanges that are not requiring KYC going away I see privacy becoming more and more difficult to obtain.
I have the same sentiments, I think eventually mixing will be portrayed as being synonymous with criminal activity and that false narrative will be pushed out by those that wish to control the agenda. Yes mixers can be used for criminal activity but does not they will. but there might be some sort of radical transformation or implementations which could theoretically keep certain mixers out of trouble but it depends on how law enforcement agencies approach it in conjunction with mixers.

Tinfoil hat paranoia, the last mixer that is left standing is run by the NSA....
Shocked

Eh, JollyGood is just asking a general question that's probably on the minds of quite a few members here, and as far as criminals using any mixer service....that's similar to the argument that bitcoin or [name your cryptocurrency] is/has been used for illicit purposes and therefore is bad.  It's a silly argument against crypto, and if it were valid then fiat should be bad as well as all guns, knives, and anything you can think of that's been the tool of criminals.
It certainly was a general question and that debate is twisted somewhat by those that see me wearing a signature and overlook the question raised. You are right it is a silly argument against crypto but those that are putting out false information on a regular basis by equating criminal activity to crypto are simply hiding ulterior motives. Like fiat can be used for nefarious purposes crypto can be too but that does not mean it is specifically a tool for criminals.

Who knows what the government is going to go after and with what amount of resources?  It seems as though all things crypto are under the microscope at the moment but that could change.  I do hope there are some powerful bitcoiners with political influence lobbying for us, because the little guys like myself can't really do much of anything to sway those politicians looking to criminalize mixers and whatever else.
If those that have become super-rich because of crypto get together to put forward an alternative view that is being projected against crypto then they could help manage the way crypto is talked about in political circles including the all-important financial departments. If lawmakers get a real understanding of what Bitcoin and other crypto are then they will be far more better placed to make the safest and best decisions.

It is inevitable that most if not all mixers will be used for (or will be attempted to be used by criminals for) nefarious purposes
It is inevitable that most if not all banks have been used by criminals for nefarious activities. How many closures have we had as a result of that? Even when banks engage in scams, they just get a slap on the wrist.
That is true, either they get financial penalties or bad headlines but hardly ever are there criminal cases against banks and when there are there is little to no talk about them being shut down. The problem Sinbad faces is different to competing mixers because none have been accused of being previously associated with Blender and that makes the difference here.

Can I ask a counter question, Is Whirlwind.money Next To Be Shutdown?  Wink
You can as many questions as you like Grin

If Sinbad is operated by the Blender team but Coinomize, YoMix and Whirlwind (and others) are not, then the chances are the others will last longer than Sinbad.

This is one of the concerns bitcoiners have had so far - and of course I think it's normal and makes sense.
The government will try to put up more of a fight for any mixer and it's definitely on their watch list. Of course their main reason is to prevent a lot of money laundering cases - but actually they seem to have another mission besides fighting crypto, confiscate bitcoin for example.

The same will probably be attributed to some of the other mixers currently growing and developing, but of course it's a matter of time. Until then, I think the government will shut down any mixer service like they have done other mixers before.
I cannot add more to what you wisely posted other than my opinion that all mixers are most probably being watched by various law enforcement agencies and the moment serious criminal activity is detected they will be shutdown.

1482  Economy / Reputation / Re: After Chipmixer, Is Sinbad.io Next To Be Shutdown? on: May 29, 2023, 10:13:33 PM
Then why did you join the signature campaign of one of the mixers? No offence, I am just asking because I think you shouldn't join advertising what you think are used by criminals.

No offence taken  Grin

Unlike the Blender and Chipmixer websites, Whirlwind has not been seized or forced to shutdown. Also, to my knowledge Whirlwind have not been accused of money laundering by any law enforcement agency nor is their owner/operator the subject of an international arrest warrant. Having said that, criminals will use anything that is available for conducting (or trying to conduct) criminal acts.

As an example, just because banks can be used for money laundering does not mean everybody using their services will launder money and as long as the banks have mechanisms in place to either reduce, minimise or eliminate the risk of illegal activity by the owner/operator they will end up escaping serious criminal charges as they do not want to fall in to illegal activity. If a case was made against a bank they could fight a lawsuit against a governmental agency to show they implemented various rules to prevent criminal activity. I think exchanges do the same, they blacklist addresses that have passed on them by law enforcement agencies and are obligated to seize funds to hand over various data to those agencies.

A test case for a mixer in a Court of law will be thoroughly informative. It will become interesting if we ever see a legal defence by the Chipmixer owner/operator or the Blender-Sinbad owner/operator (if either get arrested and presented before a Court).

Mehdi is confident of his fate though and most peobably if he even get caught he will also accept whatever sentence given.

He seem to have roam around bitcointalk since he shared the link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2827109.0 emphasizing several anon services were not seized by governments.
Yes he seems confident but he refused to answer the question when it was put to him if Blender and Sinbad were related.

Relating Sinbad with Blender is mere rumors that have not been proven even the website publication used the word "may", which means that they are not sure that Sinbad is an offshoot of Blender.
The connection was made with a lot of proof, it is much more than a rumour.

Why single out only Sinbad, why not include the other mixers as well?
The article in Wired was specific to Blender and Sinbad therefore the thread however if I find one where an allegation has been made against another mixer (regardless of their name) I will not hesitate to post about it.

Maybe to run some contest or giveaway.
No

Is Whirlwind.money excluded from this dilemma even though they are engaged in the same type of business, or just because you didn't find a single article about it?
I found no article about Whirlwind that alluded to them being a criminal enterprise. As far as I am aware the Whirlwind team have not been accused of money laundering and have not been accused of being being behind Blender.

Or because you wear their signature.
No

Given that you wear the Whirlwind money signature, I assume that you are considered part of their team in some way. Isn't it a little inappropriate to negatively spin competitors without a valid reason?
Where is the negative spin? I created a thread to post a link to Wired.com

Do you know how long Chipmixer has been in business, and do you believe that it was only used by criminals in the last few months, so that was the reason for the investigation?
I have almost zero interest in Chipmixer and anything related to them including who used them and during which time periods. Also, I never used their service. I did apply maybe 3 times to join their signature campaign but was overlooked therefore stopped applying. Only the law enforcement agencies will be able to state their reasons for the investigation in to Chipmixer, I have no idea how long criminals used it for.
1483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: May 29, 2023, 09:12:49 PM
Guardiola had no choice but to save his best players for the final two games of a very long season. If Manchester City win the FA Cup final they will go in to the Champions League final with an immense belief they will win the treble.

Personally I think it will end up being a case of them losing the FA Cup final in a close game and they will lose the Champions League badly final because Inter Milan might not control the bulk of the possession but they will be more effective in front of goal.

I had Brenford and Everton to win on my slip after receiving early Manchester City leak line up news from some of my FPL colleagues, it would have been foolish of Pep to field his best players when the FA Cup and CL finals are coming up next month, the match was not important to them, it was an opportunity for the Academy players in the team to have some minutes, and that is exactly what he did.
1484  Other / Archival / Re: Sinbad.io Mixer - secure, fast and easy to use on: May 29, 2023, 03:00:24 PM
Is it true Sinbad is operated by the same person that created Blender? Crypto tracing company "Elliptic" have stated with conviction that the evidence is very strong.

After Chipmixer, Is Sinbad.io Next To Be Shutdown?

1485  Economy / Reputation / After Chipmixer, Is Sinbad.io Next To Be Shutdown? on: May 29, 2023, 02:50:35 PM
It is inevitable that most if not all mixers will be used for (or will be attempted to be used by criminals for) nefarious purposes but when headlines such as "The world’s most prolific crypto thieves have used Sinbad.io to launder tens of millions" are associated with a brand it means their days are numbered.

I found this article in Wired.com interesting on several levels such as the creator of sinbad.io who wants to be known as Mehdi named the mixer Sinbad after the fictional sailor that travelled far by sea. In the interview Mehdi seemed to comment on almost everything that was being discussed but when asked if Sinbad was a new version of the now defunct Bitcoin mixer Blender, he refused to comment.

"Elliptic" is a crypto tracing company and they have suggested there is irrefutable evidence $22 million moved from Blender to Sinbad in the very early days after Sinbad was created therefore that doubles the reasons why it will probably be the next mixer to be shut down sooner rather than later.

Sinbad.io probably does not have too much time before various law enforcement agencies get together to organise the shutdown of their website and try to arrest the owner/operator on money laundering charges. If criminal activity as taken place on an industrial scale and almost zero protocols were put in place to either reduce, minimise or eliminate the risk of illegal activity by the owner/operator they will end up facing serious criminal charges.

1486  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: May 29, 2023, 01:41:11 PM
Well said. It's like saying that someone who commited several felonies before shouldn't be accused anymore since it's pointless which isn't true at all. Every single scam accusation matters at the end of the day.

This site deserves to get buried under a mountain of scam accusations in my opinion.
One of the main problems with this thread is that far too many unsubstantiated scam accusations have been made against 1xbit/1xbit1 and that has affected to some degree the substantiated (or genuine) claims by many of them not receiving the focus and attention they deserved.

Keeping that aside, as the scam accusations keep being posted there is not a big chance this thread will be dropping down the list any time soon.
1487  Economy / Reputation / Re: Feedback that are fun to read (collection) on: May 29, 2023, 01:32:43 PM
I noticed your title says "collection," but I only see one neutral feedback example here. And to be honest, not particularly fun to read, in my humble opinion. Are there any more feedbacks you can share to make it more interesting?
Maybe the OP was hoping others would start adding funny feedback they read in order to make the thread have some content but thus far that has not transpired.

This would have been a great thread only if you tried to collect atleast 10 feedbacks that are funny to read. Put more efforts and people will visit this thread for fun and discussions.
Yes I agree with you. I think it would have been a better thread if the title was not misleading and there was actual substance within the thread.

JG is known for being strick and at times dramatic with giving feedbacks. I have seen where JG used someone's feedback space as a note or a bookmark for self Grin
Some time ago I noticed Hhampuz writing on the lines of note-to-self when he left feedback therefore I thought it could be something useful for me to use when needed. If memory serves correct I used that format just a few times  Grin
1488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: May 28, 2023, 09:05:00 PM
RESULTS:

Arsenal 5-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers
Aston Villa 2-1 Brighton and Hove Albion
Brentford 1-0 Manchester City
Chelsea 1-1 Newcastle United
Crystal Palace 1-1 Nottingham Forest
Everton 1-0 Bournemouth
Leeds United 1-4 Tottenham Hotspur
Leicester City 2-1 West Ham United
Manchester United 2-1 Fulham
Southampton 4-4 Liverpool

That is how the season ended with the final games being played for 2022/23  Grin

How did Brentford beat champions Manchester City on the final day? Manchester United came from 0-1 down to win 2-1 and secured third place. Chelsea and Newcastle United took a point each, what a season for Newcastle as they finish 4th and have secured Champions League football next season.

Southampton, Leeds and Leicester City have been relegated.

Like you I would also like to understand what Sandra_hakeem was trying to articulate because it is unclear. As for Vod, why did you attribute a Pokémon GO! link to him? I must seriously be missing something of significance here therefore apologise in advance.

I am glad this thread has been used to discuss a wide array of views and opinions and I look forward to reading more.

Hell no Igeb botz... I'm not totally against what you said but I'm not also fully accepting to it.
I Feel anyone that survived in here hasn't done that by chance neither is it a coincidence - the forum doesn't change, people do.. and AFAIK, you weren't there around 2013, where growing in the forum was seen as a tough renaissance; though it actually looked simple cus they weren't affect by any factor, but could you atleast remember that LAUDA and VOD won't take any shit to their bellies, assuming they had to? Talk more of the rest of them? C'monnnn,... Even Life itself wasn't meant for everyone - that the reasons some kiddies give up - cus whatever is meant to be, will always be. I believe the forum needs a few dangling sets of masterpiece information providers, with an already imbibed knowledge... Cheer up, we're in the new era.

Sandra 🧑‍🦰
Which of the point did you agreed or disagreed to? i gave out some options... I'm lost here

To begin with, talking about 2013 is like talking about the 1930 first world cup because I'm 100% certain that neither of us watched or knew any players back then, neither of us were here in 2013, so I wouldn't want to talk about what I don't know, and we don't have many 2013 active members now.

I recall one instance where Vod had to red tagged MoparMinning due to an argument between the two on the Bitcointalk Discord; he seriously screwed up the DT. He quit the forum to focus on his pokoGO project.
1490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: May 27, 2023, 03:31:20 PM
Now that Poch has been chosen as the new manager, not official yet I am not overly optimistic, but at least he is someone who does not tolerate idleness and always expects the most from his players; he is worth the wait.
Pochettino has unbelievable man management skills. He takes a player under his wing and then makes them believe they have an extra 5-10% to offer the team and the players buy in to that mindset and give everything on the field for him. Pochettino worked wonders at Southampton and then the same at Tottenham on an almost shoestring budget. If all goes as expected and an official announcement is made about his appointment, I would expect Chelsea to take it easy in pre-season when they go on tour but expect them to start next season like they have a point to prove.

I am looking forward to welcoming Pochettino back to the Premier League and look forward to the challenge they will mount in search of a top four finish because they will have to go up against Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Liverpool, Brighton and Aston Villa.

-----------------

Finally here it is, these are the final games of the Premier League taking place this season. The games will be played at 4.30pm on Sunday 28th May 2023:

Arsenal vs Wolverhampton Wanderers
Aston Villa vs Brighton and Hove Albion
Brentford vs Manchester City
Chelsea vs Newcastle United
Crystal Palace vs Nottingham Forest
Everton vs Bournemouth On Sky
Leeds United vs Tottenham Hotspur
Leicester City vs West Ham United
Manchester United vs Fulham
Southampton vs Liverpool

Here is what has been confirmed:

- Manchester City are confirmed as champions
- Arsenal are confirmed as runners-up
- Manchester United and Newcastle United will join the champions and runners-up in the Champions League next season
- Liverpool will finish 5th therefore will play in the Europa League next season
- Southampton are relegated

Here is what has not been confirmed:

- Which of the following two from three will be relegated alongside Southampton: Leicester City, Leeds United and Everton
- Which teams will finish the season in 3rd and 4th place between Manchester United and Newcastle United

1491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: May 26, 2023, 06:56:19 AM
RESULT:

Manchester United 4-1 Chelsea

This was yet another terrible night for Chelsea and Lampard. I sometimes wonder what Lampard would be going through as he watches Chelsea stoop lower and lower in both efforts levels and performances. He must be wondering why the players cannot perform to the level he did when he played for Chelsea. The consolation goal did not mask the fact Chelsea are a shambles and they are not ready for next season.

On this form, I think it is clear Chelsea will finish outside the top seven next season because they simply are not good enough. Maybe a new manager will be able to bring out the best from this set of players.

As for Manchester United, if they win their last game and Arsenal lose theirs, it will mean they finish the season just six points behind Arsenal and that is an unbelievable achievement considering they were in the relegation zone at the beginning of the season.

They have already won the Carabao Cup and have qualified for the Champions League next season therefore it is already a successful campaign for them. If they win the first ever all-Manchester FA Cup final they will stop their rivals winning another trophy.

1492  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: May 25, 2023, 08:42:13 AM
You are very correct, there was sure a time, (I think in 2021 or so), my business wasn't doing well and  I needed to earn some extra money badly to support the business, at the time, I've been in and out of several shitcoin paying signature campaigns that made me zero profit, I needed to join a bitcoin paying signature campaign, and at the time, 1xbit signature campaign was the only one that had the"open" status, looking at all the 1xbit campaign participants with their orange tags, I was on a cross road, I wondered within my self, how can I on purpose get an orange tag when it's not like i scammed someone, and neither did I ever intend to, I thought about how much I could possibly make from 1xbit campaign and have my account destroyed, and how much I could make from other campaigns in the future when 1xbit campaign is no more, and if my account remain clean - after giving this some serious thought, I changed my mind on applying on the 1xbit campaign, I waited and after 2 weeks or so, a new bitcoin paying signature campaign launched, and I applied and got accepted..

I think many of this users promoting 1xbit and destroying their reputation by doing so, is due to lack of proper thinking and patience.
This is a wonderfully articulated post which basically captures the essence of good vs evil in a manner of speaking.

You could have chosen the shortcut route by applying to join the 1xbit signature campaign (and you most probably would have been selected) but you knew right from wrong and you saw the benefits of the bigger picture even though you must have been under immense financial strain.

It is reading experiences such as these that should be setting the bar when members consider sacrificing the credibility of their accounts for the sake of short term income. I am glad you managed to join a signature campaign just a couple of weeks after the initial contemplation of joining 1xbit and I am equally happy your patience and perseverance paid dividends.

When it comes to money in general (and when related to this forum) I am in no doubt many members would join any campaign they want but the fear of being ostracised and then having their account rendered useless has stopped reputable members from participating in their signature campaigns.
True. Most of these scam sites(1xbit, Yobit etc) paid their participants handsomely which is why their signature campaigns attract a lot of attention, but the red trust risk stopped many from getting greedy.
Do you remember the time when Yobit signature campaigns were flooding the forum? It was a lot of hard work trying to discourage members from participating in their signature campaigns and then having to unfortunately tag accounts. Many forum members worked tirelessly voicing their opposition to Yobit and at some stage during the backlash they left the forum and have since not returned.

That was one example of the community getting together to try to minimise the impact of a scam outfit here.
1493  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Whirlwind.money | ⚡No Fee⚡ | Ultimate Privacy | Anonymity Mining 12% APR🔥 on: May 25, 2023, 06:09:21 AM
If this issue has already been addressed by Whirlwind then I would like to apologise in advance and request for someone to provide a link because I searched but could not find it.

As for adding odd amounts that cannot be withdrawn to another note to combine them all i(n order to reach a withdrawal amount) is something that really should have been avoided. Was a specific reason why the option to withdraw the total balance was removed? Maybe I am missing the obvious but any explanation as to why the case is as it is would be appreciated.

I just had a try to withdraw from whirlwind and realized that I can't manually input the amount to get withdrawn. The amount is pre-selected based on the amount I have, kinda feels like the chips we had in ChipMixer. If I select this, I will have some balance left in whirlwind. When I tried to pay to note and donate, I was able to manually input the amount, then why it's not available in the withdraw tab?
As I previously said, I don't want to receive interest from the whirlwind anonymous mining, can't you block note public address from the pool? I think it's possible, isn't it? If not, I will have to donate the fund to you.

This is also my problem during my first time of mixing. I just deposit again on new note an amount that will make my remaining balance whole for withdrawal. The best part on whirlwind is there’s no transaction fee when transferring a balance on notes or withdrawing it outside the note to a regular Bitcoin address.

It just time consuming on transferring another batch of Bitcoin on fresh note them send to the original note since it requires Bitcoin network confirmation per transaction. I encounter this issue during the time that mempool is so crowded. But all this extra work is compensated by free withdrawal and interest rate of anonymity mining.

1494  Other / Meta / Re: Forum Menbership- 3.5m registered only 56k members survived?..... Why? on: May 24, 2023, 10:38:27 PM
Here is another excellent opinion, I agree that the forum being lack of mobile friendly would play a part in membership retention too. We do not have to use statistics available at our disposal to understand the value attached to those scenarios. In the general sense, if a customer/client finds it difficult to use a mobile phone to browse then they might give up as they might not have access to another device (such as a PC) to browse from.

The fact that the forum is not smartphone friendly is a big deterrent, I'm here 6 years
and I really only access the forum on my smartphone and have got used to Zooming,
I know 2 people who have accounts here who couldnt be bothered visiting because
its too difficult to navigate on a mobile. So gea its a very good point made above.
...

It is a very important issue. Looking at some other websites stats I can say that mobile users proportion has grown significantly last years. It is over 50% and some regular sites show up to three quarters of mobile users. If a site is mobile friendly they obviously stay longer. So making an adaptive design is very actual nowadays. And as for so popular forum I guess a special mobile app can be popular as well.
1495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: May 24, 2023, 10:26:06 PM
I agree that Liverpool had played very well in the run up to them trying to get in to the Champions League for next season but eventually they failed. They could yet still be finishing the season 6th if Brighton manage to win their games. I do not share your optimism about Liverpool finding their form next season because teams such as Newcastle United (again), Aston Villa, Brighton and Brentford will be pushing for a top 7 finish next season while the regular big teams will also be staking their claim to a top four finish.

Leicester City should never have been where they are now but many mediocre teams by Premier League standards have been relegated and have simply bounced straight back after one season in the Championship. If they were to be relegated but their key players stayed they would be favourites to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

@JollyGood while Mane’s exit was a huge loss for Liverpool but in the last few games they have shown that they yet have the desire to compete at the highest level and once Klopp finishes restructuring his squad I expect that Liverpool will once again compete for the title once the new season starts. Furthermore Leicester status is hard to digest but if they’re relegated many top team’s will come calling for their top player’s and post that I feel they may find it difficult to return to the premier league soon.

Not saying they are alts, however, there is a clear pattern going on here:

the only other UID's with "coco" in their names all have "23" in their profile name:

Then we have dbc23 which also has "23" in the name

Alisha-k was registered on the 23rd...

This looks very interesting and deserves to be brought up and posted in the latest page rather than be at the bottom of page 2. Thank you for bringing this as an update to the conversation. I will end up tagging each of the following accounts with appropriate feedback and will be happy to remove or revise any and all tags if relevant new information comes to light:

I noticed OP stopped posting after his account was tagged, it seems OP abandoned his account since it can’t be of any use to him campaign wise but the other accounts linked to the OP are very much active. One of them already has previous negative tags as being a promoter of 1xbit and I don’t think they care about their reputation, the other did not respond to this thread or try to defend himself. I’m sure OP will be waiting for a campaign that accepts negative tagged accounts like 1xbit to emerge so he use his account.
Time is always of the essence when it comes to signature campaigns therefore I am not surprised the OP (dbc23) has given up on posting using that account but as you pointed out as soon as the OP can enrol on to signature campaign that pays participants with negative tags, he most probably will start using that account again.

The puppeteer that is controlling dbc23 is clearly controlling several accounts and not all have been discovered therefore he will be busy focusing on trying to keep them clean while he earns signature campaign fees from them.

I suppose he will never create another thread asking for negative or neutral feedback to be removed from any of his farmed accounts again  Grin

I like the project, I'd like to see it listed on binance.
This was your first post in 7 months? Most previous posts are all but one liners. There are many hallmarks of an account being farmed for future use.

Why is their App not working on Android 13 (Xiaomi 13, Sony Xperia 1 V etc.)??
This was your first post after a 2 year and 8 month gap? Do you realise Plutus have a website and they can be contacted using various channels? Instead of contacting them directly you opted to make the above post? Now we have another account that has many of the hallmarks of an account being farmed for future use.

Thankfully, Plutus have not been active in the forum since February 2022 and I hope it stays that way. As a result of what seemed to them hiring a puppeteer to use his army of sock-puppets to flood the thread with fake buzz some years ago, I personally have little to no time for them but others are welcome to conclude what they want.

I will tag the above accounts in the coming days when I have appropriate time.

Congratulations LFC_Bitcoin, it is a remarkable milestone.

I suppose one of the things being an early adopter allowed you to do was to be a season ticket holder at Anfield (please correct me if I have it wrong). Sure you should get out more but for now consider going anywhere but Anfield for the rest of this season because the way Klopp and company are playing at the moment you probably would want a refund for the whole of 2022/23 Grin

I was going to post an updated Premier League table but you got there first  Grin

The updated table will be posted after the next set of games, I will leave it for until then but I think you have just highlighted the single most important reason why Liverpool saw their season collapse in an unacceptable manner for a team that was supposed to be regenerated under Klopp and were supposed to have been a permanent fixture in the title race season upon season. The reason without a doubt was Sadio Mane.

After the way Mane was treated in comparison to Salah, it was obvious he was unhappy and made the decision to leave. How was it possible that Mane was on £90,000-£100,000 per week and Salah penned a new deal at somewhere between £350,000-£400,000 per week? Mane was not offered anywhere near that and when Liverpool tried one last time to get him to sign a new deal he refused. The great thing about Mane was that he always played with 100% conviction for the club, whenever he put that jersey on he played with pride and passion. What Liverpool lost when Mane was sold was someone who played football like a powerhouse. Bringing in all those new signings did not help and none were able to replicate the work rate of Mane and Liverpool buckled under intense pressure.

As for Leicester City, it is clear they should not have found themselves in this predicament at all but in the end if the players are not performing then it will always be the case you find yourself in the league table where you deserve to be. Leeds United, Leicester City and Everton. Two of these teams will be relegated alongside already relegated Southampton.

Everton vs Bournemouth
Leeds United vs Tottenham Hotspur
Leicester City vs West Ham United

On Sunday if Everton manage just one point courtesy of a draw the other two teams will be relegated, it is as simple as that. I would have to conclude Everton will stay up and even if Leeds United and Leicester City win their respective games, they will be relegated.

After Mane's leaving the team at the beginning of the season I was thinking Liverpool would lose power. However I never predicted them to finish the league out of top 4. The actual surprise for me is Leicester's entering the final week in 18th place. While they have names who can play directly for many Premier League teams like Madison and Vardy, it isn't acceptable that they are at this point.

There is no need to correct you because you understood the broader point I was making. Of the innumerable aspects and permutations of what can be said about the reasons about the numbers (or alleged numbers) of member retentions here in the forum, I think one them could include cliques and trolls.

For example, if an average member who has been around the forum several years can be the victim of a vendetta where perpetrators have created threads to post the trust list of said user and then asking those that trusted the user to remove/exclude purely on the basis of flimsy or highly dubious excuses but using that as an opportunity to exact some form of revenge as the real ulterior motive, then what chance would a newbie have when faced with a similar or sustained attack?

As I said, the above scenario could be just one of many innumerable reasons why there is an issue with member retention within the forum but to discuss every possible reason about what is wrong would take days upon days to go through therefore to that degree I am happy to see and read thorugh many of the posts here as it brings a side array of opinions to the table.

I get a bigger picture of what you are talking about and please correct me if I am wrong. When you talk about revenge do you possibly talk about a fight back by these members to undo some members here in the sense that they victimize, intimidate and keep harassing members who  gave them tough time on their way to the top or possibly their clique members just as you have said. If this be the case then there are lots really happening here which would need attention and also be sorted out.
Who knows how many members that must have been affected by this act.
