I was never confident Arsenal would become champions because they had a young inexperienced squad and I was fairly sure they would eventually collapse under the pressure of being chased by Manchester City. Guardiola does deserve credit for what he achieved but if Manchester City are found guilty of breaking financial play rules they will probably have their titles and trophies won (for the years they allegedly cheated) removed retrospectively.

@JollyGood what Pep managed to do with City in the premier league is surreal because at one stage we all thought that Arsenal would cruise to win the league title but Pep was defiant that it wasn’t over for City. Furthermore he played nice mind tricks by saying that it’s Arsenal’s title to lose and behind the scenes he kept pushing his player’s hard and in the end he managed to stun Arsenal and steal the title from them which just proves how good he actually is.

Here is what the final Premier League table of the season looks like:

You could well be right but that does not mean every allegation made against 1xbut/1xbit1 is legitimate. If someone posts here claiming they were scammed they should receive some degree of sympathy but not absolute until they post evidence they were scammed and that should be the same regardless of which business/website the allegation was made against.

If they are asked to post evidence (as has been the case by various members) and they do not do it then it cannot be mandatory to support them, it is as simple as that. They can carry on with their allegation but they should not expect to be supported unless evidence is provided.

Well since the majority of those coming to this thread to post their accusation are newbies who are bearly members of the forum it shows the level of awareness that has been created here in the forum to keep members updated on the activities of this scam casino, so for us not to see any complaints from any high-rank members of this forum it ok for us but how to prevent the wider society from failing victim is now the major problem, and quite a good number of those coming to this thread to complain doesn't know the necessary procedure to post such allegation with proofs to support their case.
1463  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: May 30, 2023, 09:10:05 PM
That is part of the issue, newbies end up creating accounts to specifically post about them allegedly being scammed by 1xbit/1xbit1 but they more or less never provide irrefutable evidence or solid enough to be taken seriously. Usually the victims that are serious about their allegation provide enough information via screenshots and transaction ids to at least have a credible case.

I agree, how victims find their way to this thread after they get scammed instead of finding this thread before they send their crypto (to the 1xbit/1xbit1 team) is the baffling part.

~snip~
but what baffles me is how they end up locating this forum to post about 1xbit scamming them after they've been scammed.

Why did you not start a thread to discuss what you want already? Those that wish to participate in the discussion your thread will entail will do so without compulsion and those that wish to question your motives for doing it will do so and of course those that wish to not participate will also do so because this is a community forum and nobody can force another to do their bidding. Feel free to do it, this forum is fairly democratic in that sense.
Because they haven't scammed anyone. Besides,I have no negative opinion about mixers like you do. I would love them to thrive as much as they can.
Good for you and your opinion but you should not be telling me or others which topics/companies/brands we should or should not be starting topics on. Feel free to start your threads on the topics you want to. And, I do not have a positive nor negative opinion on mixers, keep on assuming what you want it does not bother me.

Quote
And?
It's ironic and hypocritical.
In your opinion and you are welcome to believe what you want.

Coinomize, Wasabi, YoMix, Whirlwind and others have not been named by any government as being suspected of money laundering but Chipmixer and Blender were named in US government officials legal documentation as money launderers therefore they are automatically part of a distinction from the rest. And since evidence has been presented to show Sinbad.io is operated by the same team that operated Blender.io, it stands to reason they are probably next.
Chipmixer was also never officially named as being a suspected tool for "money laundering" by the US Government until we just woke up one day and it's domain was seized. In fact what we used to see before the seizure were such articles
So please, don't convince us that there is a difference with these services when it comes to law enforcement.
I have no interest in convincing you of anything, believe what you want.

In fact I was surprised to see you wearing a signature of yet another mixing service especially after the opinions you had about mixers following the seizure of Chipmixer.

Whether the mixer is going to be the next to shutdown or not. To you, what makes Whirlwind.money different from Chipmixer, Sinabad or any other mixer in the eyes of law enforcement?

Alongside the genuine victims who find their warnings, experiences, claims and stories buried under heaps of posts there are those that are either trying somehow troll for reasons unknown or they are from competing businesses and are trying to keep negative shades on 1xbit or some other reason.

In the early days of this thread many unsubstantiated claims were made against 1xbit/1xbit1 on a regular basis one after another but many did not provide even the slightest bit of evidence to back up their accusations. Of the ones that did, 1xbit/1xbit1 claimed they would resolve them and even put out false posts with names and amounts repaid but in the end the warning to all is to just keep away from 1xbit/1xbit1 otherwise eventually you will end up writing a scam accusation here detailing how you had money stolen by them.

I noticed this too sometime back, but there's nothing much that can be done about it and the scammers know this which is why they are trying to take advantage of a bigger scammer in this manner.

I went down a rabbit hole that goes all the way back to 2021 and labeled probably 40 accounts on bscscan, and that's only the start of it. This is just a placeholder post for now, spent too much time on this already, lol.

1468  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wearing Double signature (Shan85) on: May 30, 2023, 12:29:52 PM
Cantsay already mentioned, there was a similar case involving a member named nhaila last year
Thank you for highlighting it. Is it safe to conclude as far as is known, these two are the only two known cases of this type?

It might slip under the radar for a week or two (unless the manager catches on earlier), but I highly doubt it can remain unnoticed for an extended period. The forum has a vigilant community with many observant members.  Wink
The cheater in this case benefited from the fact that the spreadsheet for a particular campaign was kept hidden from the public.
Even if it slips under the radar it seems as though the vigilance of members (as you aptly refer to it) managed to spot it. At least he did not manage to carry on the duplicitous conduct for a considerable length of time and instead was caught out quite early on.

Now he will have to create or buy another account and then go through the process of trying to rank up before being considered for joining signature campaigns. In the end he must be wondering whether it was worth it in the end for short term gain.
1469  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: EXODUS + criptointercambio.com = SCAM (hold funds 350 000$) on: May 30, 2023, 12:24:52 PM
I would advise some caution here as the claim by the OP against Exodus was not proven categorically and only limited evidence was posted but if we say the claim was genuine and the return of funds were genuine, it seems the OP will not be returning to the forum because he achieved the ultimate goal of getting his money back.

I had hoped to read more from the OP surrounding what happened with regards to the return of funds and the circumstances surrounding it but it looks as though that will never be known now.

I got all the money back.
I have no complaints, the main problem is that you have to wait more than a month for your money and it greatly affects the plans.

Before locking the thread and changing the title to resolve, I would like to ask how did it go.

Did Exodus help you to get your money to their third-party exchanger?
Did they issue an apology for keeping your funds for almost a month which is not right because as you said it greatly affects your plan?
Did they compensate you for going through all this, the amount is so huge that if it happens to many of us here will have sleepless nights and go through depression.
Do they promise or have a plan to replace or get another partner exchange that is more trusted?
A yes or no answer to all these questions is enough and will give us a hint if we can still trust Exodus.

Guardiola employed excellent tactics against Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the Champions League, that cannot be denied therefore full credit to him but for an in-depth comment and discussion regarding the Champions League please use the dedicated thread ⚽ FOOTBALL: UEFA Champions League 2022/23

Let us not forget before the Champions League final they will participate in the first ever all-Manchester FA Cup final and for discussion related to that please use the dedicated FA Cup thread ⚽ ENGLISH FA CUP 2022/23 TOURNAMENT - Discussion Thread

Talking about the Champions league final,I don't think Milan will be able to withstand Manchester city.I know Milan will be fully prepared, but I simply think city will unleash themselves on them and win them without much stress. If you look at what they did to Madrid in the second leg of their encounter, you will respect Guardiola, and his tactics. Before that match,he already said he was going to win Madrid at home,he so said he was happy that they were able to draw Madrid at their home. They came to city's home, and they thrashed them, this is to show you that they are fully ready to win the champions league this year by all means.
1471  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wearing Double signature (Shan85) on: May 30, 2023, 11:25:40 AM
This is also the first time I have heard about anything like this happening. Wearing a signature to get paid from one campaign and then to swap it with another to get paid from a second one. Has anything like this ever happened before?

What are the chances it is already happening but has gone unnoticed by the majority of members here?

This is the first time I've seen a member wearing a double signature, it's unethical and this is abuse good that he is caught this early with so many participants attended by bounty managers it's hard to catch this type of person it's good that one of the members caught him.
Now we should be aware of this type of cheater, and we as members should help our managers by checking some of the participants if he is swapping signatures.

Supported both flags.
1472  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] whirlwind.money | Redefining Mixing | Signature Campaign ~Up to $150/week on: May 30, 2023, 11:07:02 AM
I think this would be a good idea as you are right, it will reduce the number of spammers and time wasters. If it were a pre-condition stated in the OP and if after that being made known publicly applicants applied without posting a Note it would clearly define them as not even bothering to read the requirements. Hhampuz could save a lot of time doing it that way.

As you are paying to Note Public Address I think it is time to apply with Note Public Address. It will be helpful for all as they have to visit the site to know "Note Public Address" those who are time wasters/spammers will fail to do so. For visiting the site the site will get traffic and the more important thing is that you will not need to ask the "Note Public Address" again and again. So, I think you should edit the OP regarding "Note Public Address".
1473  Other / Meta / Re: Forum Menbership- 3.5m registered only 56k members survived?..... Why? on: May 30, 2023, 11:01:40 AM
These are another excellent set of reasons to be added to potential reason there are retention issues within the forum. The truth of the matter is that we will most probably never know or understand in full why the forum failed to retain huge numbers of new members but when reading through the possibilities being posted, it is clear a combination of reasons and/or events play their part.

Quality is required, and a newbie needs to understand what quality is. Old members who also begin to find it difficult to meet up to the mental demands of being a quality posters may also abandon their accounts.

Some other reasons could be;
- loss of interest in learning and sharing knowledge that can lead to plagiarism, spamming and shit posting or just quitting the forum. Newbies who are not interested in learning and sharing knowledge will find it difficult to continue when they discover that quality is required.

- Reduced time and a bulky schedule; someone who has daily activities that eats up all their time may decide to keep their account here dormant.

1474  Economy / Reputation / Re: After Chipmixer, Is Sinbad.io Next To Be Shutdown? on: May 30, 2023, 10:54:29 AM
This Wired.com interview and article regarding Sinbad.io was interesting on several levels including the fact the owner/operator of Sinbad mixer categorically refused to answer the question when asked if Sinbad.io was a relaunch post-branding of the now defunct Blender.io

"Elliptic" is a crypto tracing company that provided evidence to backup a link between Blender and Sinbad and since Blender was already on the radar of the US law officials because they faced allegations of money laundering huge amount, therefore the thread was related to Sinbad. Had allegations in the Wired.com article had been made against Coinomize, Wasabi, YoMix, Whirlwind or others I would have created the same thread but altered the name from Sinbad to the other.

It is as simple as this: Blender was shut down because of money laundering allegations and the owner/operator is wanted by US investigators to face criminal charge. Strong evidence has been put forward by a crypto tracing company that Blender.io was relaunched as Sinbad.io therefore in my opinion the chances are the next mixer to be shutdown will be Sinbad as it is already linked to criminal activity conducted during the previous carnation which was Blender.io

I was hoping for a wider intellectual debate rather than those that have posted with ulterior motives therefore I am locking this thread as some here have missed the point entirely and tried to take the thread deliberately to a different direction when any member including you and I should not be stifled in our comments just because of wearing one particular set of signatures or avatars. If that were the case, all those wearing gambling/gaming or crypto exchange signatures and so on should not be allowed to post comments related to competitors as each and every time a conflict of interest will be falsely cited and that mindset is unacceptable in what should be thriving free speech forum.

1475  Economy / Reputation / Re: After Chipmixer, Is Sinbad.io Next To Be Shutdown? on: May 30, 2023, 10:30:04 AM
I can't really add much to the discussion and my only disclosure is that I once applied but didn't get a look in and so never reapplied for the chipmixer signature campaign (or any other mixers for that matter) after that.

Not long after my application was turned down, the fee being paid to signature participants collapsed but was still very lucrative nevertheless.
Chipmixer was very lucrative and that was why the campaign thread was flooded with pages upon pages of applicants as soon as there were slots available. As mentioned earlier, I applied (around 3 times) and was overlooked therefore stopped applying.

I agree with DaveF's sentiment that users seeking mixed coins will probably turn to depositing crypto to exchange A, split the coins into many chunks e.g. three, four or five) or many more) swap them for other crypto and or tokens then send those tokens to other exchanges B, C and D or even uniswap/pancake swap style instant exchanges to either swap back to what ever crypto they were and then sent on to the final destination or yet another exchange, rinse and repeate.
Can you imagine how difficult carrying out this process manually would be and how simple it would be if it were possible to automate it?

I wouldn't be surprised at all if perhaps a couple of the people taking out short term loans of a thousand dollars at a time on a very regular basis are repaying with laundered money either from Ponzi/hyip style scams, or, money filtered through the above method.
If there was evidence of this happening it would be

Has anyone else noticed after the initial toxic shock of the chipmixer demise that certain high and not so high profile UID's have started tailing off the amount of their posting...?
There was also the matter of alleged alt-accounts participating in the Chipmixer campaign. I have to agree with you, some members that were both advocates of Chipmixer and also posting regularly to meet the income threshold have gone quiet but if they no longer need to meet those requirements to earn a signature campaign participation income and can earn a weekly amount by posting less then they will as with most members that would probably be the driving factor of their presence here.

Then there is also the rumour that @theymos has sent out an edit that no admin/staff moderators are allowed to join mixing signature campaigns.
There was a link posted some time back where a forum staff member stated words to that effect. I need to try to find it as it confirmed what you cited as a rumour to be true.
1476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: May 29, 2023, 11:40:30 PM
They are most certainly going to one, I don't think they will lose both, but it is up to them to select which one to sacrifice for the other, but I can't lie, they have the squad depth to compete for both titles. I'll be rooting for Inter Milan since I don't want City to win the league and the CL in the same season.
The squad that Manchester City possess should be enough for them to win both finals but as usual Guardiola will be tampering and tinkering with his methods in an attempt to outsmart the opposing team manager but it usually backfires. If Manchester United win it will mean Manchester City face Inter Milan with caution and that will simply compel Inter Milan to go on and win. If however Manchester City win the FA Cup final they will go in to the Champions League final full of confidence.

There is going to be a break of one week between the FA Cup and Champions League final matches. This means a lot to Manchester City because they won't have to deal with serious level of fatigue. They can add these titles to their collection as well and finish the season with 3 titles which would be epic for them. They have a quite high chance to make this happen as well. I don't think there will be any underestimation issue with Manchester City on one hand. People want to see them winning the remaining titles for themselves.
With these two final games of the season remaining and keeping in mind the strength they have within their squad, I cannot see fatigue playing a part in the Manchester City team. There will be added stress and pressure because they are in a position where they could win the treble and that could be the reason they fail if they find the expectation being too much of an obstacle.

They had better be careful against Manchester United and Inter both. Manchester United are the winner of the EFL Cup this season. Inter can try to catch them by surprise with some counter-attacks.
I am sure Manchester City will go in to the games with the belief they will win them but they will not take it for granted because if they lose they will lose a chance of making history at the club. There is no pressure on Manchester United and Inter Milan, all the pressure is on Manchester City.
1477  Economy / Reputation / Re: After Chipmixer, Is Sinbad.io Next To Be Shutdown? on: May 29, 2023, 11:17:10 PM
I think, over time all mixers are going to be shut down by various government entities. Even if they are doing nothing illegitimate, for some reason everybody in law enforcement sees them as illegitimate. I will also say, with more and more exchanges that are not requiring KYC going away I see privacy becoming more and more difficult to obtain.
I have the same sentiments, I think eventually mixing will be portrayed as being synonymous with criminal activity and that false narrative will be pushed out by those that wish to control the agenda. Yes mixers can be used for criminal activity but does not they will. but there might be some sort of radical transformation or implementations which could theoretically keep certain mixers out of trouble but it depends on how law enforcement agencies approach it in conjunction with mixers.

Tinfoil hat paranoia, the last mixer that is left standing is run by the NSA....
Shocked

Eh, JollyGood is just asking a general question that's probably on the minds of quite a few members here, and as far as criminals using any mixer service....that's similar to the argument that bitcoin or [name your cryptocurrency] is/has been used for illicit purposes and therefore is bad.  It's a silly argument against crypto, and if it were valid then fiat should be bad as well as all guns, knives, and anything you can think of that's been the tool of criminals.
It certainly was a general question and that debate is twisted somewhat by those that see me wearing a signature and overlook the question raised. You are right it is a silly argument against crypto but those that are putting out false information on a regular basis by equating criminal activity to crypto are simply hiding ulterior motives. Like fiat can be used for nefarious purposes crypto can be too but that does not mean it is specifically a tool for criminals.

Who knows what the government is going to go after and with what amount of resources?  It seems as though all things crypto are under the microscope at the moment but that could change.  I do hope there are some powerful bitcoiners with political influence lobbying for us, because the little guys like myself can't really do much of anything to sway those politicians looking to criminalize mixers and whatever else.
If those that have become super-rich because of crypto get together to put forward an alternative view that is being projected against crypto then they could help manage the way crypto is talked about in political circles including the all-important financial departments. If lawmakers get a real understanding of what Bitcoin and other crypto are then they will be far more better placed to make the safest and best decisions.

It is inevitable that most if not all mixers will be used for (or will be attempted to be used by criminals for) nefarious purposes
It is inevitable that most if not all banks have been used by criminals for nefarious activities. How many closures have we had as a result of that? Even when banks engage in scams, they just get a slap on the wrist.
That is true, either they get financial penalties or bad headlines but hardly ever are there criminal cases against banks and when there are there is little to no talk about them being shut down. The problem Sinbad faces is different to competing mixers because none have been accused of being previously associated with Blender and that makes the difference here.

Can I ask a counter question, Is Whirlwind.money Next To Be Shutdown?  Wink
You can as many questions as you like Grin

If Sinbad is operated by the Blender team but Coinomize, YoMix and Whirlwind (and others) are not, then the chances are the others will last longer than Sinbad.

This is one of the concerns bitcoiners have had so far - and of course I think it's normal and makes sense.
The government will try to put up more of a fight for any mixer and it's definitely on their watch list. Of course their main reason is to prevent a lot of money laundering cases - but actually they seem to have another mission besides fighting crypto, confiscate bitcoin for example.

The same will probably be attributed to some of the other mixers currently growing and developing, but of course it's a matter of time. Until then, I think the government will shut down any mixer service like they have done other mixers before.
I cannot add more to what you wisely posted other than my opinion that all mixers are most probably being watched by various law enforcement agencies and the moment serious criminal activity is detected they will be shutdown.

1478  Economy / Reputation / Re: After Chipmixer, Is Sinbad.io Next To Be Shutdown? on: May 29, 2023, 10:13:33 PM
Then why did you join the signature campaign of one of the mixers? No offence, I am just asking because I think you shouldn't join advertising what you think are used by criminals.

No offence taken  Grin

Unlike the Blender and Chipmixer websites, Whirlwind has not been seized or forced to shutdown. Also, to my knowledge Whirlwind have not been accused of money laundering by any law enforcement agency nor is their owner/operator the subject of an international arrest warrant. Having said that, criminals will use anything that is available for conducting (or trying to conduct) criminal acts.

As an example, just because banks can be used for money laundering does not mean everybody using their services will launder money and as long as the banks have mechanisms in place to either reduce, minimise or eliminate the risk of illegal activity by the owner/operator they will end up escaping serious criminal charges as they do not want to fall in to illegal activity. If a case was made against a bank they could fight a lawsuit against a governmental agency to show they implemented various rules to prevent criminal activity. I think exchanges do the same, they blacklist addresses that have passed on them by law enforcement agencies and are obligated to seize funds to hand over various data to those agencies.

A test case for a mixer in a Court of law will be thoroughly informative. It will become interesting if we ever see a legal defence by the Chipmixer owner/operator or the Blender-Sinbad owner/operator (if either get arrested and presented before a Court).

Mehdi is confident of his fate though and most peobably if he even get caught he will also accept whatever sentence given.

He seem to have roam around bitcointalk since he shared the link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2827109.0 emphasizing several anon services were not seized by governments.
Yes he seems confident but he refused to answer the question when it was put to him if Blender and Sinbad were related.

Relating Sinbad with Blender is mere rumors that have not been proven even the website publication used the word "may", which means that they are not sure that Sinbad is an offshoot of Blender.
The connection was made with a lot of proof, it is much more than a rumour.

Why single out only Sinbad, why not include the other mixers as well?
The article in Wired was specific to Blender and Sinbad therefore the thread however if I find one where an allegation has been made against another mixer (regardless of their name) I will not hesitate to post about it.

Maybe to run some contest or giveaway.
No

Is Whirlwind.money excluded from this dilemma even though they are engaged in the same type of business, or just because you didn't find a single article about it?
I found no article about Whirlwind that alluded to them being a criminal enterprise. As far as I am aware the Whirlwind team have not been accused of money laundering and have not been accused of being being behind Blender.

Or because you wear their signature.
No

Given that you wear the Whirlwind money signature, I assume that you are considered part of their team in some way. Isn't it a little inappropriate to negatively spin competitors without a valid reason?
Where is the negative spin? I created a thread to post a link to Wired.com

Do you know how long Chipmixer has been in business, and do you believe that it was only used by criminals in the last few months, so that was the reason for the investigation?
I have almost zero interest in Chipmixer and anything related to them including who used them and during which time periods. Also, I never used their service. I did apply maybe 3 times to join their signature campaign but was overlooked therefore stopped applying. Only the law enforcement agencies will be able to state their reasons for the investigation in to Chipmixer, I have no idea how long criminals used it for.
1479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: May 29, 2023, 09:12:49 PM
Guardiola had no choice but to save his best players for the final two games of a very long season. If Manchester City win the FA Cup final they will go in to the Champions League final with an immense belief they will win the treble.

Personally I think it will end up being a case of them losing the FA Cup final in a close game and they will lose the Champions League badly final because Inter Milan might not control the bulk of the possession but they will be more effective in front of goal.

I had Brenford and Everton to win on my slip after receiving early Manchester City leak line up news from some of my FPL colleagues, it would have been foolish of Pep to field his best players when the FA Cup and CL finals are coming up next month, the match was not important to them, it was an opportunity for the Academy players in the team to have some minutes, and that is exactly what he did.
