I'm mobile getting ready for my procedure but while reading some replies I started wondering why people seek out some of these accounts? I know this is somewhat off-topic but I never knew you were going to have a new procedure and if there was a thread (or comments) about it, I missed it/them. The last I read about your health was in your extensive thread which was later locked. I wish you success and good health  I feel like so much time is probably wasted by users finding accounts that potentially did nothing but were bought. Eyes should be more focused on bigger things IMO. Buying accounts to me is nothing. You have a point but maybe when members are searching for scams, scammers or suspicious behaviour that these sorts of account farmings are discovered and made available to members. If there's no scam why bother though. Again you have a point but that is where difference of opinion comes in to play. As of yet there is no real single instruction from the forum admins or theymos about how to deal with such a scenario. |

Why does the forum need users who cannot grow on their own, but resort to such methods? A forum's account is history, it is status, it is reputation, it is knowledge, and all this should be assigned to only one user and should not be transferred somehow. The forum does not need them but it is them that need the forum therefore they purchase and trade accounts in the hunt for bounty and signature campaigns. Should all accounts be tagged that are guilty of or presumed bought? Is a neutral tag appropriate for accounts that are bought that have no reputation, or should accounts be ruined period? I told you in the other thread. Who commits a crime does not change the typology of the crime. Giving different penalties depending on who commits the misconduct goes against the fundamental principles of law. All this is stirred up by someone who not only bought an account, but is a ban evader and willingly participated in advertising a known scam site. Being from a poor country and getting away with buying an account is a comparative aggravation against your compatriots from poor countries who do not take the fast track and with their effort little by little rank up the account. What would happen if say for example the forum had an open policy of accepting with open arms those that buy and sell accounts. Surely the quality of posting would drop further from what it already has and not only that, it would most probably increase the number of posts (most of which would be nonsensical incoherent ramblings) being made in order to meet the minimum character criteria to earn the weekly fee. But the recent change of ownership and a blatant lie—look how Martyns writes about his brother— The fact that he died was not announced immediately. He corrected this, realizing that we would ask the brother. And also ignoring and subsequently lying about another blocked account—doesn't that deserve a negative tag? Does anyone here like to look like an idiot for believing this? He has no choice but to present lie after lie because he wanted to protect the account from neutral and/or negative feedback. To that degree he just kept fabricating stories and we do not know what the truth is or was about him. Forgetting about the banned BlackViruse account for a moment, martyns never posted a reply about his alleged connections forum members merintishidup and dreamsnight. It would be interesting to read what he has to say. In addition, if someone buys someone else's account, he must understand that one day a ray of suspicion will be directed at him. If someone was Indonesian from the very beginning, why go to another locale? If at that point of suspicion other members decide that the suspect has contributed enormously towards the forum then he might get away from being tagged at all however that does not send the best signal to others as they can try to use that same defence when trying to protect their traded accounts from being tagged. After all, when a particular member (now a campaign manager) was accused of having purchased his account several years ago and a thread was opened to discuss him, he ended up being defended by several members. There is no consistency in the way DT and DT members approach this matter. If the forum policy is simple as purchased/traded account = negative tag then it is settled and there is nothing else to discuss but when it comes to being subjective and opinionated about whether exceptions should be made or whether mitigation should be considered on a case by case basis, we end up having disagreements. As a result, I think that each case and each bought and caught account deserves separate consideration. When a person thinks people are idiots, the red tag fits well with his reputation. Fair enough but that would again make it subjective. One member may feel a negative tag is warranted/justified but another member may feel a neutral or none is appropriate and then we all go back to same point debating the subject all over again. |

If you had been honest from the start, you might have received a few neutral trust ratings on your account to indicate the change in account ownership. However, your dishonesty has exposed your true character. Even if we ignore your repeated attempts at ban evasion, playing the pity card has only resulted in earning you negative trust. With a few neutral and maybe a negative trust he could have continued to post without concern and over time maybe his tags would have been removed or revised in a beneficial manner to him but as his stories were designed to seek pity rather explain the truth he lost that opportunity too. I originally left a neutral tag but revised it to negative after reading subsequent posts. Poker Player correctly updated his negative tag to include the ban evasion part, I think I will do that too but right now I will see what else is being posted before I revise it just in case other things also need to be added. Neither side is claiming it is a misunderstanding, in fact both are adamant they are correct and that is why they are unable to find a solution. Same applies with users who leave neutral feedback, I think this case already clear. It seems to get worse for martyns as he tried very hard to save the account from receiving negative tags. It is curious to see how certain people see the negative feedback as excessive, but instead see the negative feedback on my profile, which the author himself has admitted is in a grey area, as justified. It is simply another example of hypocrisy and there are many cases, as you and others must have noticed. The one on your profile is clearly revenge based and as it is retaliatory it should not even be there. This case reminds me a lot of Naim027's case. Everybody defending him because poor guy, he only plagiarized in the past several times, and he didn't do it again, and he only sent himself some merits among his alts, but poor guy, he didn't do it again, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. He received a lot of sympathy at the beginning but in the end when the lies and alt-accounts were exposed, members should have learned from supporting such cases. I know each issue should be taken on case-by-case basis but there has to be a degree of flexibility. In this case, as in that one, the more you stretch, the more things come out. In some ways it is good martyns is defending himself but lie after lie is not exactly a good defence to put forward. I cannot work out why he/she/they simply cannot register new accounts and build up rank in order to join signature campaigns rather than go down the "it was given to me" or "I am poor" route. I have reported this case in the ban evading thread, but maybe even he will be lucky and will not be banned again, as happened with Naim027, with the moderation of this forum you never know. There is a possibility moderators could take action but you have done the right thing by reporting him. Now it is up to them. Its just a full member rank.
Look, stop crying and pushing for pity. If you say it's "just a full member account," why don't you start developing it yourself? There is no excuse for any member to not build up their own account even if they are farming them for multiple bounty and campaign participation. Why the need to buy? In addition, you bought an account, which means you are not completely poor if you allow yourself to bypass the rules of the forum.

The interesting part is that PaperWallet replied to the post you added and he made several more posts in that threads as well as making other posts regarding the same issue elsewhere. Keeping aside for a moment which party will win a potential Court case and also keeping aside for a moment the question of which party conducted themselves correctly in the scam allegation, if the OP has managed to get a lawyer to take this all the way to Court it might be the first time a member of this forum has done something like that and it could set a precedent. I am sure if the case gets to Court, FortuneJack will be able to hire the best lawyers to defend themselves and will probably win and case but the OP seems determined to take this to Court. FortuneJack believe they did nothing wrong and the OP believes he did nothing wrong, maybe they will reach an agreement before it gets to Court. I think we are quite certain what their position is regarding this issue. |

After looking into this further, it appears the user will probably not reply here, because they know they've been busted.... I would just tag him as a bought account if he does not come here to answer myself, I'm sure someone left something on this account by now anyways.. The martyns account has received several tags (both neutral and negative). This really is a sad situation to be in both for yourself (if your second story is true) and for those that have tagged your account (if they believe your second story). First of all, from experience I can say that just because you say something it does not mean it has to be true especially after you have already stated an high implausible story about how the account came in to your possession and under your control. As for those that left tags on your account (neutral or negative), by citing a new story of your financial woes you have simply added more stress to them as they ponder whether the tags should be revised or removed. All this issue happened because you came in to control of an account either by stealing it from the original creator or by buying it. Whether your story about you being a graduate who is struggling to survive is true or not, the truth is you could have just created an account (alongside this martyns one that you ended up controlling) and built it up rank by rank too. Maybe you already have several accounts that are participating in various campaigns. As you have been dishonest from the beginning about how you came in to controlling this martyns account it seems difficult to believe anything you will say subsequently. What do you guys want me to do now? Maybe all the rumours about Chipmixer allegedly keeping logs were started after news of the 7TB disk were posted. There are no reports of what was on the recovered disk but it could simply be 7TB consisting mostly of free space and only partially populated with the operating system. We do not know whether logs were kept and if they were, for what reason. Yup!
they are tracking all the coins now, CHIPMIXER KEPT LOGS! I personally think it was just a honey pot planted by FBI!

I have to agree with you, the forum reputation is not always correct that is true but what cannot be denied is that it is overwhelmingly in favour of 1xbit/1xbit1 not being trusted. With those sorts of numbers you will find it impossible to be taken seriously in this forum. Who will believe you when you say you are under new management? That card was already played by you in the past. Your reputation is in tatters and will probably never recover until or unless a miracle takes place because you simply will continue to periodically scam. There are still debates about our reputation on this forum, but our security and issue resolution team is not much of a difference with most of the casinos on this forum. You may find our first posts - even they've had a tough welcome due to the first managment mistakes. And we received a few accusations from trusted forum users where it's clearly seen form our side that their accounts broke the rules. Forum reputation isn't always accurate. |
