241  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for March on: March 06, 2024, 12:48:12 PM
As these monthly polls are mostly just a form of sentiment checkers in the forum, I'll limit the choices to just yes or no again.  And it would help if you post your thoughts itt.

Check this chart out.  Lolol really?  That's like one of the best runs I've seen of Bitcoin from an optics pov.  Is it really going to an all time high this month?  Can't believe it's happening tbh.  Sorry if I sound dumb rn.  I'm at a loss for words...

seeing the votes are even? I think the sentiment of the forum  is divided into two.
What I wanted to hear now is that are we having corrections now?because it seems that
We have a huge pump recently and now we are dumping again so I have this in mind .

I know right?  Cheesy  I'm thinking it's no longer sentiment but what they really want to happen.  The yes guys might be sidelined, under sized and want a huge sell down so they could get in.  On the other hand we of the people who already got everything locked in and want it to go beyond all time high and be comfy.  Grin

But looking at it now, it looks like the trend isn't slowing down anytime soon.  :/  But still a long way til end of March tho.

After the big news that Hamilton will join Ferrari, now we have something even much bigger, which is Max maybe going to Mercedes as well. There are news about it if you google, and that could be just leverage as well to keep Horner in place.

Max as we all know loves Horner, and that means that he will want him to stay, so this could be a ploy to say to the team that if you fire Horner, then next year I will join Mercedes. He already won so many titles, and he is not the type of racer that cares about even more, he will have like what 4 titles this year? That's more than enough for him, he is not the type that will want 8th. So I feel like it could very well be something special if that happens, and I wonder who will get Red Bull spot.

Not only that.

Mercedes is trying for Max as they said and it not they only big thing.

According to rumors if Horner will be "sacked" a release clause will be active for Adrian Newy, and Ferrari is monitoring the situation.

I don't think Horner will be sacked based on the investigation so far and judging by the behavior after the first race the Redbull team looks more solid than ever.So I don't think Ferrari will have a real chance to get Newey under these circumstances. They can try to make him a direct offer as I am sure Newey had his glorious time at McLaren first and now at Redbull so he may like to achieve something at Ferrari too.

So I did a little reading and asking around on what's really going on at Red Bull.  So from what I've heard the team has split into two factions...  Horner's side which has the support of the crew and Jos Verstappen's side which has the support of Marko Helmut.  And here's the hilarious part...  The girl that Horner supposedly harassed?  Rumor is it's Jos Verstappen's girlfriend.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  No wonder the guy is pissed.  Lmaoo.

So yeah, that's where the Max Verstappen rumor is coming from.  It's either Horner leaves or Verstappen leaves.

What about Petr Yan vs Song Yadong fight? Yan is in tricky situation. Former. Champion is now on a series of 3 straight losses. Yadong won last two fight. If Yan losses, he would either get released (which would be both fair and strange, as he used to be one of the best in 135) or he will slowly turn into Tony Ferguson  Grin Bookies see Yan as a slight favorite, but a very shaky favorite.

Mmmmm...  I think Yan's losses were not something that should bring his stock down by a whole lot.  A loss vs Merab Dvalishvili...  Who wouldn't lose vs Dvalishvili.  A couple of split decision losses vs O'Malley and Sterling ain't bad at all with the O'Malley one as somewhat a robbery imho.

With Song Yadong, his wins are good but they were not really against the top tier fighters except for the Simon win.  So dunno...  I kinda agree with where the lines are at.  But would I bet for either of these guys?  Not at the current line.

If anyone of you guys are staking ATOM, TIA, OSMO, INJ and a couple other Cosmos based tokens, you're automatically eligible in HAVA's airdrop.  I think the snapshot was done during early Feb, not sure.  But I still am eligible for staking OSMO and ATOM even tho I've already unstaked them a couple of weeks ago.  So yeah, early Feb for sure.

https://havacoin.xyz/eligibility-check

I have a tad over 3 million but it looks like it's going to be priced like WOSMO.  So that's prolly like 30 bucks.  Lol.  I'll prolly just stake it and forget about it.

Biggest loser in this rwce was Leclerc.

why? he did an amazing job considering he got problems with brakes since the start.

It is an unusual problem and Brembo is already investigating the problem.

That he did but still the biggest loser given the result of the race.  I was thinking he could get to the podium instead of Perez.  But I guess it's better to move on and focus on the next race.  Leclerc is as good as at least second place barring any technical issues.

This is actually quite real. With long legs and hands, it is easier to catch and control them for a grappler. But the main question is - will Vera really use his skills against O'Malley ? When was the last time Vera submitted anybody? Even though the odds on Vera ara juicy, O'Malley is going to finish him. I believe that since they met first time, Sugar has gained more, while Vera stayed at the same level. Anyway, Sugars first title defence, lets see how he copes with stress.

With the event being a PPV event and not a smaller one in the Apex, the cage would be bigger...  Which means O'Malley would have more space to move around to avoid any attempts at grappling from Vera.  And he has the foot work to do so just like he did for the most part vs Sterling.

Now...  Vera is a slow starter.  It would be somewhat safe to assume that O'Malley wins at least a couple rounds out of the first three.  So that in itself justifies where the line is at rn.  But if any of you really do want to fade O'Malley then better do it thru live betting after R2.  That way you avoid the possbility of Vera getting finished by O'Malley early and you get a way better line with Vera.  And Vera usually heats up and starts getting more active at R3 anyway, so might as well.

Some vids...  Enjoy.

Opening the thread for the current and upcoming projects that are under the classication called 'Modular Blockchains'.  The most popular tokens under this new archtecture in the forum right now is TIA which serves as a data availability layer.  But there are are others like DYM which plays the part at the execution layer.  But there are other projects and a few more coming which will def be huge plays going in to 2025.

Be on the look out...  Will update this thread when something comes up.  You guys could post the projects you love if you want.

I think the winner will be the guy who picks the right memecoin and the right AI coin.  Memecoins always out perform the whole market in small spurts during the start or the end of a major BTC move...  Sometimes both.  And 'AI on blockchain' is a big narrative coming as the bull run develops.

cryptofrka chose well with a couple of memecoins that's dominating in Base, an AI coin that isn't even close its all time high yet and he picked SEI...  An L1 that's playing with the best big narrative in 'parallel EVM and pipelining'.  That narrative will be huge on 2025 with the release of Monad.

Finally an event where even Early prelims have interesting fights Cheesy

Yup...  Almost all of the roster are bangers.  The early prelims could pass off as a Fight Night main card.  =]  And at firsr glance the underdogs I could see having a good chance of winning are Joanne Wood, Lins if he opens as the underdog, Chookagian, Gilbert Burns no idea why he's at the current line and MVP wow he's finally in the UFC.  I'm thinking CJ Vergara could make it close too but the Almabayev guy is pretty good,  If I gamble on it maybe get a little bit more with Vergara via decision.

And here's the count down vid for the event.  This gonn' be goood!

^  In case some of you guys are farming Parcl, their dev team purged a lot of people from their airdrop roster dues to self referring their ref links.  They've been cross checking IP's all along.  It seems like they also caught some people who were living in one house and letting other people farm for them like employees.  Lolol.  That's hilarious.  Maybe I should hire a couple of my 12 year old cousins as my employees to farm these airdrops.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  Lol child labor.

And yeah looks like the bottom is in for DYM.  But we'll see this week.  I'll prolly put in a perp long.

Biggest loser in this rwce was Leclerc.  I like the guy but he needs to have some grit and be an asshole on the grid or he'll keep losing his spot...  And in this race, he was losing to his own team mate Carlos Sainz.  It's prolly cos Sainz mad because he was thrown out of the team.  Lol.

Anyway here are the results of the race.  And would you guys think Ricciardo would've passed Magnusen if Tsunoda allowed Ricciardo to pass him earlier?

Alex Perez vs. Muhammad Mokaev

For this fight, the odds were 3.90 for Alex Perez and 1.26 for Muhammad Mokaev the heavy favorite for this fight, this is something even if you are just new to the UFC you will realize getting on board with the hype, but you are not wrong about it as I don't see the great fight for Alex Perez which he didn't show any great thing while Muhammad Mokaev is a beast and against Jafel Filho he has come back in the brink of getting his knee broken as he surely got a heart and turning the fight around so my pick is Muhammad Mokaev.

Umar Nurmagomedov vs. Bekzat Almakhan

For this fight another Dagestani fighter, and the odds are 1.07 for Umar Nurmagomedov and the heavy favorite to win, 8.60 for Bekzat Almakhan for this fight Umar Nurmagomedov has decent striking, and with those kicks, he's got the range and we all know the wrestling of Dagestani should never be underestimated and he also got solid takedown defense I will be bias here for sure Umar Nurmagomedov will win this no doubt about that so my pick is Umar Nurmagomedov.

Personally I am interested to see how these two fighters will perform in the UFC fight night.

I think Mokaev is going to have a better fight and a better chance to win this fight compared to his opponent Alex Perez.
Remember Alex Perez has already lost 7 fights in his career. So Mokaev, if he does his research correctly should have a lot of weak points about his opponent. Odds for Mokaev is 1.25, not very imressive but not bad at all.

Umar Nurmagomedov is also a really good fighter. I think there is no chance that Bekzat could be able take the win away from him. In this fight bookie are not giving any chance to bettors to take away the profit Cheesy, they offering odds for Umar Nurmagomedov 1.07 in 1x2 bet? lol Cheesy

Nurmagomedov got wobbled at R1 but was able to recover and mauled the guy.  But I was pretty impressed that he went to the decision against Nurmagomedov.  Any lesser fighter and Bezkat would've win imho.

Anyway, here are the results.  Pretty good win by Roz as he was dominated in R1 and R2.

Jairzinho Rozenstruik def Shamil Gaziev  TKO R4
Vitor Petrino def Tyson Pedro  UD
Muhammad Mokaev def Alex Perez  UD
Umar Nurmagomedov def Bekzat Almakhan  UD
Steve Erceg def Matt Schnell  KO R1
Eryk Anders def Jamie Pickett  Decision  UD
Vinicius Oliveira def Bernardo Sopaj  KO R3
Aiemann Zahabi def Javid Basharat  UD
Christian Leroy Duncan def Claudio Ribeiro  TKO R2
Ludovít Klein def AJ Cunningham  TKO R1
Loik Radzhabov def Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady  KO R3

Oh and the pie shitter of the event...  Basharat.  :/
254  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for March on: March 02, 2024, 12:53:40 PM
I expect a reversal before the halving and then a real push above the last ATH a couple of months after.

This is not based on any technical analysis, just my speculations following events of previous halvings. We usually will have a heavy dip, followed by a period of sideways movements and then some price spikes.

Oof man...  Flush late longs out then let it go super nova then break out above all time high and leave most of them behind.  Would hate to be in that spot.  Lolol.  This time around I'll just hold spot and not fool around leverage.  I'd rather trade memecoins than trade with lev.

Here are the results for qualifying.  I kinda didn't expect this after seeing the results from FP1 thru FP3.  I guess Horner and Newey pulled a rabbit out of the hat from this one.  That's the tandem Ferrari wants and it's as clear as night and day both are going there to help Hamilton win his next driver's championship.

According to simulations timers

Verstappen was the fastest

Half second behind, Leclerc and Perez with Mercedes but Merdeces were getting some random drops in some laps.

Sainz behind them.

But it doesn't look like it in FP3.  Let's see how Red Bull reacts at quali after they get more data from FP3.  But to me it doesn't look good.  They were not sand bagging all along.  They're really a tad slow this weekend.  But then again, are they leveling everybody by sand bagging at FP3?  Cheesy Cheesy

Here are the results for FP3.

Check this chart out.  Lolol really?  That's like one of the best runs I've seen of Bitcoin from an optics pov.  Is it really going to an all time high this month?  Can't believe it's happening tbh.  Sorry if I sound dumb rn.  I'm at a loss for words...

2) Have you noticed Mark Zuckerberg in Alex Volkanovski corner on UFC 298? And his performance before the fight? (https://www.marca.com/en/ufc/2024/02/18/65d2701522601d41128b4582.html)

Judging from his face I think he might have lost a lot of betting for Alexander Volkanovski I don't know about you guys but I think that this is the face of misery just on my part what about you guys?

This is usual robotic face Cheesy Check out his other pictures. If he wasnt pictured on purpose, his usual expression is like a emotionless doll. I havent heard the Mark is into gambling, so I doubt that he has lost anything. In general it is weird to see Mark among Australian fighters. There are picture of him being with Izzy and Volk training together. Now he is with Volk again. Why so much attention to fighters exactly from Australia?

Mark didn't see the future loss of Volk, I guess he isn't the reptile alien as people thought. He didn't stop training himself, it was supposedly just for the fight against Elon but now he's more into MMA. If he is already among these fighters, I'm sure they were already talking about wagering millions, someone like him with nothing else to do with their money,  I think he bet and lost.

Mokaev and Nurmagomedov definitely a good combination for multibet.

Lolol or he prolly has a huge bet on Volk and him watching Volk at the second round made him visualize his money burning in the cage...  I mean look at his expression...  Cheesy

^  That's a guy who's just lost a huge bet but he's trying to be all nonchalant about it.  Cheesy Cheesy
