2401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: September 14, 2021, 04:05:41 PM
A really horrible CL day today, the only game worth watching is the Barcelona - Bayern one. Hard to call it because the season just started, but with all the problems Barcelona is facing I agree with the bookmakers who chose Bayern as a strong favorite.

Villarreal - Atalanta will probably produce good football, so that might be an 'under the radar' match that is also worth watching. I'm going for both to score there.

I don't think that this matchday is that horrible, yes it is true that we have only 1 real banger match today with barcelona vs. bayern but other big clubs with great reputation and a long tradition in the champions league are also playing today with Manchester United, Chelsea and Juventus. I also think that these 3 clubs are the clear favorites in their matches today so this would be easy picks for me for a bet.
The match of Barca vs. Bayern is not that clear to me. It is true that Bayern is the favorite of the bookmakers but i would not be to sure about that as Barca still has a strong squad even without messi and maybe they are even better now without messi...who knows.
2402  Other / Archival / Re: [ETH tokens] Same Blockchain, Different Price on: September 14, 2021, 03:59:48 PM
Hey guys, I have a question regarding eth tokens.

I can see many ethereum tokens projects and airdrops each week atleast. But my question is, why would i prefer BAT over BTT and both over XXX since they are all use the same engine (all under ethereum with exactly same functions)? And after that, I see they have diffrent price, market.

I can see ANNs of the projects announce diffrent titles, but in the end they doesn’t differ any thing. Unlikely for example, the comparison between too coins, for example bitcoin vs eth, we may say bitcoin fee is better than eth fee, oh thats why I love btc, bitcoin is first currency, thats why the most money invested into it, etc...

How could bat gain a lot of money invested into it, but XXX didn’t?

Please correct me. Human mistakes.

I am not quite sure what your question is but i think i get the direction of your question or statement and i think you need to be very careful because BTT and BAT are completely different projects and have nothing to do with each other. If you look at coinmarketcap, then you will see that there are two projects that are using BTT as their Symbol (Bittorrent and Blocktrade Token) and that there also two projects that are using BAT as their symbol (Basic Attention Token and Bat Finance) so you always need to check the contract adress before you invest into a project because you also need to be careful because there are also a lot of scammers and imposters out there.
2403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Concern about the the problem of online underaged gamblers. on: September 14, 2021, 10:54:13 AM

What are your thoughts?, What are the possible solutions to the problem of the rising number of online underaged gamblers?

I don't think that there is a solution to make 100% sure that no underaged can gamble on online casinos. I mean everyone gets asked if you are at least 18 years old (or maybe even oder depending from which country or state you are coming) before you can register at online Casinos. Some of them even require you to do a full KYC. So i don't think that the casinos are the ones to blame. In the end the parents are responsible for their childs and what they are doing with their money.
2404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is Best Alts or Defi Coin? on: September 14, 2021, 10:47:36 AM
Actually, from the past few years the Defi Coins are very popular b/w the investors, but I am confused Is Defi bes Best from Alts?
I am not sure what exactly your question is to be honest. If you are asking if Defi projects are the best altcoin projects then i don't think that there is a clear answer for that. Defi has definitely changed the cryptomarket as a whole and i am also pretty sure that defi will not disappear like many other Trends that we had before but it will stay forever as a big pillar for the crypto space. New Trends are still emerging though. At the moment the topics of NFTs and play to earn games are also pretty hot.
2405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: G A M B L E R S ❗❗ What are your thoughts on this? on: September 14, 2021, 05:24:43 AM
Assume you have $100 and must choose between the two casino versions shown below to turn a proft. Which will you choose?

I can not give a clear A or B answer to that because it always depends on in what mood i currently am. To be honest most of the times i just want to gamble a little without having to be totally focused and alert all the time and then i just listen to some music and watch some Videos and stuff like that while i play the slot machine for example. Whenever i feel like playing in a more competitive way then i choose games like poker where i can play against real opponents.
2406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Walmart Confirms Litecoin Partnership Is Fake on: September 14, 2021, 05:13:36 AM
Recently, Litecoin price spiked up and immediately got dumped. If anyone wondering that is because there are rumours spread around about Walmart will accepting Litecoin payments.

The announcement itself was tweeted by the @litecoin Twitter account, then shortly the tweet was deleted.

Thanks for that interesting information i have not heard of that before and now it makes total sense why litecoin made such big price movements recently. It is totally weird to me that the official litecoin Twitter account posted this fake statement and it would be very interesting to know how this could happen, if the account was hacked or if an employee just made a big mistake or did it on purpose for whatever reason. It is not really surprising, that this caused the price of litecoin to pump and dump.

What a win for Medvedev winning his first ever grand slam title in the moment when Djokovic was chaising history.Medvedev served so good that Djokovic didnt have much of a chance.Even when Djokovic had a chance he missed too many easy shots.I guess he was emotionally and fitness tired. What a year it has been for him,its sad that he didnt win it all.

I never expected that Medvedev could really pull it of and defeat Djokovic, but it happened. Medvedev played really great don't get me wrong but it seemed to me that Djokovic could not reach his full potential yesterday which is really sad for him as he had an historic opportunity like you already said. I also think that this was the main reason why Djokovic seemed kind of restrained yesterday, just like he did when he played in the semi final of the olympic games vs Zverev. If you can achieve something historic then even the best and most experienced players like Djokovic are starting to feel the pressure and yesterday he could not deal with it sadly.
2408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] JOSHUA vs USYK on: September 13, 2021, 11:03:40 AM
This fight will be the most exciting one in the heavyweight division of boxing since many months and i have a really hard time to pick a favorite here. Anthony Joshua is a really great athlete that looks like a greek god and he can knockout everyone with his left hook but he kind of lost his nimbus of invincibility in his fight against Andy Ruiz and he already was close to being defeated in the fight against Wladimir Klitschko before. Therefore i think that this will be a very dangerous fight for Joshua and that Usyk has a good chance to defeat him. Joshua is still the favorite for the bookmakers so i think a bet on Usyk could be very profitable.
2409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano run $200 on: September 13, 2021, 10:54:05 AM
After launching a smart contract, it will make him return to his initial appearance ± $ 200 usdt, more over Hhampuz holds a bounty with a focus on heroes and legends, he did not waste this opportunity.
Analytically how long will he return to the fund?

https://decrypt.co/80754/cardano-to-launch-smart-contracts-today-but-where-are-the-dapps

I don't really understand your question to be honest. If you were asking if Cardano can make a runt o 200$ per ADA then i would say no, i don't see that happening in the short- and midterm future. The ATH so far per ADA was at around 3$ so to go to 200$ is just way to big of a leap in my opinion. Ada is also very high value already even with its current price of 2,40$ it already has a marketcap of close to 77 B $ which means the market cap would be way higher then the market cap of BTC if one ADA would reach 200$ so that is definitely not possible in my opinion. I think ada will stay in the 2-3 $ range for quite some time.
2410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: September 12, 2021, 05:58:20 PM
It was Hamilton’s fault...  Just like Silver Stone.

But it was good for Verstappen.  He retains the lead in the driver’s championship.  Hamilton screwed himself over.  Lmao.

The stewards' decisions is that Verstappen is predominantly to blame. He takes a 3 place grid penalty at the next race (plus 2 points on his licence).
I'm sure he didn't mean to plant his car on top of Hamilton's, but this sort of thing in football is called a professional foul - it did appear that he deliberately took Hamilton out, so as not to lose points.

Weird, i really thought that this was a normal racing accident where none of both drivers would receive a penalty but if i had to pick someone that is to blame i would have probably picked Hamilton and not Verstappen. It also seems to me that many had the same impression, looking at this thread and also at social media. Ralf Schumacher also said, that it was a normal racing accident but it was more Hamiltons fault than Verstappens, but he also added that it was very clever from Verstappen. So this decision is really surprising to me and i am pretty sure that Red Bull will not accept this decision without a protest.
2411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - 2nd Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 12, 2021, 11:01:56 AM
The last match of yesterday of HSV vs. Sandhausen was pretty exciting to watch especially towards the end with a lot of back and forth going on there. The HSV finally managed to score in the 74th minute via a penalty and the player from Sandhausen also got sent off the field for this foul with his second yellow card. Then 2 minutes before the end of the Sandhausen managed to score the equalizer and it looked like HSV would have to live with another unlucky draw again, before they finally manged to score their second goal and therefore managed to win the game. Looking at the statistics the win was absolutely deserved.
2412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think on: September 12, 2021, 10:46:55 AM
I fellas I have two questions to ask crypto experts and investors in this forum today

1. Is this a good time to build crypto portfolio?
2. Do you really think that bear market will be a dipping as 2018?

Now that crypto is gaining more investors day by day and crypto adoption is increasing massively I don't think that the next bear market will be crazily low like 2018/2019, what do you think?

I also think that we don't see a bear market like the one from 2018 and 2019 again with very low prices of almost every coin and a total market cap of below 200 Billion $, because that would mean that we would see a dump to only 1/10th of the current marketcap and i can not imagine any reason or event, that could trigger a dump like that. I do think though that it is possible that we go close to or even below 1 Trillion $ of total market cap again, but this would still mean that we would be above the highest market cap of the last bullrun of 2018. We also have to consider though that we now have many more crypto projects out there than back in 2018 so the total market cap is spread between many thousands of projects.
2413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 11, 2021, 07:14:48 PM
We had really superb games today, they were just wonderful I mean! Leverkusen - Dortmund game can be one of the games that I have been delighted with a lot these days. I was expecting a really competitive game but I didn't expect seven goals to be honest.  Cheesy  One of their games before ended 4-3 again but Leverkusen were the winner side then. This time, they exchanged the roles. Haaland had another great performance that he scored 2 goals here also.

Bayern Munich completely destroyed Leipzig by 4-1 away and Lewandowski scored one goal in this one. I was expecting a win from them but this was really huge. Leipzig couldn't even react well to this.

The match of Leverkusen vs. Dortmund was really great to watch, at least for a neutral spectator, i hoped that Leverkusen would win, therefore i wasn't that happy with the result, but still the match was very entertaining and by far the best match of today.
I don't agree 100% that Bayern completely destroyed leipzig today. Yes, the result in the end is pretty clear with a 4-1 for bayern but i watched the complete game and i think that with some luck it was very much possible for leipzig to achieve a draw against bayern today. I think that Leipzig was the better team until Bayern got the penalty and scored.
2414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are some of the new projects we should keep eyes on it? on: September 11, 2021, 07:10:55 PM
Today I was reading fascinating story of Bitcoin and Ethereum. That was really interesting read. And I thought, what if there are other ongoing/emerging projects? Do you know any of them? Those that are not on the mainstream media yet.

To find the good projects that have not launched yet but still have a lot of potential is the biggest challenge in the crypto market. Now in retrospect probably everyone is thinking why did i not buy some Solana a few months ago when the price per Sol was below 1 $, but that's the problem, in retrospect everything seems so obvious but back then it wasn't, at least not for me. If you look at those completely hyped projects for example those play-to-earn games like start atlas then the price for them i already too high now to invest, at least for me, because all those private sale investors already made a x100 with their investment.
2415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 11, 2021, 01:27:36 PM

If the game does go to the fifth set, Djokovic might win it in my opinion. As he has the experience and also maybe the fitness to outperform Zverev in longer matches. Though Zverev got the better of him in the Olympics, but if the game is to go to the fifth set, Zverev might losing as he is already looking pretty exhausted now.

Well you were right with your prediction and Djokovic managed to win the fifth set in a very dominant way. That djokovic lost the first set again was not a surprise at all anymore because he does that almost every time, but in this match it did not look like he lost it on purpose like it did in the matches before. Overall it was a great match to watch and i don't think that Zverev has to regret anything as he played really well himself, but Djokovic also reached his best performance level and if he manages to do that than there is no player at the moment that can beat him. So he is also the big favorite in the final against medwedew.
2416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wrong to be a long term holder on: September 11, 2021, 01:17:51 PM
Why do people refuse to take profits when their coins and tokens are surging so high? Should this be called greed or they simply have strong believe that the coins and tokens will worth more in future? Is it wrong to keep holding coins even when they bring 1000x profits cos everyone seem to be talking about 'greed' here and there

I am a long term holder myself. The reasons for that are quite simple. I don't have the time to be up to date all the time on twitter and telegram and all the other social media channels that are important. The second reason is that i don't want to pay taxes on the profits i make with crypto, which means that i have to hold them for at least 1 year in my country. I also know that being a Hodler is not the most effective way to invest into bitcoin because as an active trader you can make a multiple of the profits in comparison to a pure hodler, but this also means of course that you can also make a lot of mistakes an lose all your funds. In retrospect it is always easy to say "why haven't you sold back then?"
2417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 10, 2021, 02:34:41 PM
Leverkusen        vs   Dortmund
Union Berlin      vs  FC Augsburg
Freiburg           vs   FC Koln
Hoffenheim        vs   Mainz 05
Greuther Furth   vs   Wolfsburg
RB Leipzig          vs    Beyrn Munich

What are your favorite picks? The match between Freiburg and FC Koln is likely to be a draw. Both teams are in good shape now. Their performance in the last few matches was good. Hoffenheim and Mainz are the same quality team but I want to keep this Mainz team a bit ahead.

That matchday is very hard to predict in my opinion, the two matches where i have a pretty clear favorite are the matches of Union Berlin vs. Augsburg and Fürth vs. Wolfsburg. Union had a very strong start into this season again with draws against strong teams like Leverkusen and Hoffenheim and even a win against Gladbach and Augsburg had a bad start with only 1 point and 2 losses where they received 4 goals each time, so Union Berlin is the clear favorite here for me.
Wolfsburg should also have not to much problems to win against Greuther Furth. So far Wolfsburg playes really impressive under their new coach and they are leading the bundesliga table at the moment with 3 wins out of 3 matches.
All other matches are very hard to predict in my opinion.
2418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Solana still bullish now? on: September 10, 2021, 02:23:11 PM
Some people want to invest Solana now because of the huge rise few days ago. However, some people think that today is the end of the bull market of Solana. What do you think?

If the only reason why you would want to buy solana now is the fact that i pumped hard in the last few days than this is probably the worst reason you can have for investing into a project, because that is the pure FOMO and that is never a good motive to invest into something. I think it should be the other way around. Sadly i don't own any Solana myself and that is bugging me, but i would never invest into Sol now, because early investors already made around 300x and i don't think that there is enough room left to do even another x10 from here. I still think though that Solana is a great project and will be around for the years to come, it's just that the big pump has already happened.
2419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 10, 2021, 11:08:02 AM
Raducanu vs Fernandez in the women's final, it's difficult to believe.

Not sure who will be the favourite, probably Fernandez slightly, but neither of them were expected to get anything like this far. Raducanu apparently had booked her flights home for the end of the qualifying rounds!

What an unexpected womens finale of the US open. I am pretty sure that no one at all thought that those two unseated girls would be in the final of this grand slam. It would be interesting to know how the odds of that final would have been before the tournament , if anyone have betted on this he is now significantly richer and rightly so. I don't see any clear favorite in the final. Fernandez had a lot of close matches where he won sets only in the tie-break just as yesterday and she could have been eliminated many times before but somehow managed to survive.
It is also part of the truth though that such a surprise-final of two unseated players could never happen in the mens division because there, in contrary to the womens division, the quality in the top 20 is just way to high for a unseated player to go into the final.
2420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What risks will you get in investing during the COVID-19 pandemic? on: September 10, 2021, 09:41:40 AM

Then, is investing in cryptocurrency safe enough, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic?

What is your opinion about whether or not there is a risk involved in investing during the COVID-19 pandemic?

I don't think that the pandemic has any significant effects on the crypto-market as a whole. Of course back in 2020 when covid first appeared in the world the markets all over the world have seen a significant crash. No matter if you looked at traditional stock markets or the crypto market. Now that we are already living around 1,5 years with the pandemic i don't see it having any influence on the prices of cryptos and stocks anymore because the people are now used to living with the covid pandemic and in the end it wasn't even that bad, at least in my opinion. I would guess that only 1-2% lost their job because of Covid, at least here in Germany, so everything is fine.
