1521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk bought Twitter on: April 26, 2022, 05:27:47 AM
So its final I guess as when I saw a lot of CT buzz on Twitter and Facebook that Elon Musk officially bought Twitter company.
What do you guys think? Is this another move of crypto manipulation or he is really gonna do a big change or improvement to a free speech firm that has been there since then. Well not bad actually, he is more inclined to remove spams and bots, which is quite good and add more useful features I suppose, but not sure if this will have a premium now since its become Elon Musk property. Of, course he intend to claim back what he paid for.
Source: https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/elon-musk-to-acquire-twitter-301532245.html

I personally think that this has nothing to do with crypto at all. It still seems though like the crypto market is reacting pretty positive to this news. I also had a twitter account a few years ago that was banned even though i definitely was not a bot i only did a lot of tweets and retweets about crypto stuff and back then this was enough to ban my account for ever. I don't know Elon Musk and i am also none of his loyal followers but i personally think that he really wants to make twitter to a platform where anyone can post his honest opinion about everything even if it that is a different opinion than the mainstream wants people to have.

If we are talking about the "best car" then I would have picked Red Bull over Ferrari this year, and everyone was so hyped about Ferrari so far that they keep on forgetting Red Bull does win when they can finish races.

The main problem is that, if Red Bull can't finish races then we are going to see them lose out on many many points because of that. Like for example we have seen that Red Bull managed to overtake Ferrari and they looked much better just even on sprint right? This means during the race they would be even better. However, if they end up not being able to finish the race then they can't get even a single point.

This weekend the Red Bull definitely was the superior car. This was obvious in the qualifying in the sprint and also in the race on sunday. It is normal that people are hyped about the performance of this years Ferrari because i think no one expected them to make such a big step forward. I mean they were so far behind in the previous years and now they can fight for the championship again. Red Bull already had a competitive car in the last season and therefore people just expected them to have a good car this year again. That is also the reason why the bad performance of Mercedes is so surprising for almost everyone because we are so used to Mercedes dominating everything.
1523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Public service announcement for Metamask users, Apple IOS IpadOS versions on: April 25, 2022, 11:34:28 AM
Disable icloud automatic backups for Metamask or turn off icloud backups to avoid unrequested backups for the data in your device. Also login to your icloud.com account to see which of your data have been uploaded without your knowledge. You might have personal selfies that you do not want others to see hehehehe.
If you have enabled iCloud backup for app data, this will include your password-encrypted MetaMask vault. If your password isn’t strong enough, and someone phishes your iCloud credentials, this can mean stolen funds.
Read in full https://mobile.twitter.com/metamask/status/1515727239391809536?s=12

I only use Metamask as a browser add-on on my PC because i just feel much safer this way. I am working playing on PC's for more than 20 years now and therefore i think that i am pretty safe there because i know what kind of things that i need to do and what kind of things i have to avoid in order to be safe and to not get ripped off or scammed. Even though i have a phone of course i only use it for important stuff (like banking or for crypto wallet) if there is no alternative available for PC,  because i just don't feel as safe with a phone then with a PC. You can lose your phone anywhere and i just don't know how good the antivirus and other protection software for phones are.
1524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 24, 2022, 07:06:00 PM
It looks like the massive upgrade promised by Rebdull seems to have worked during the race of today. While many Ferrari fans will be disappointed let me tell that it was only because of individual drivers errors and not the car,Ferrari was still great as a car although in this track Redbull excelled and was a perfect race from them. For the Championship this was good in the sense that it closed quite a lot of gap and the next race is going to be the new track after two weeks in Miami, which promises even more spectacle to watch.

This race today was not as spectacular as the other ones of this season so far but still nice to watch. Sainz was unlucky again and this time it was clearly not is fault that he had to quit the race after only a few seconds. He really needs to make a good position next race or he will be the clear number 2 driver already for the rest of the season. Verstappen had a very dominant race today and was never in danger of being attacked by another driver. The performance of Mercedes was pretty poor again today but i somehow still believe that they will present an amazing update to the car in the next weeks and that they can still fight for the championship. We will see.
1525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is using 2fa safe in every way on: April 24, 2022, 06:57:42 PM
today I experienced an unexpected transaction from one of my wallets, all my assets were sold automatically, this is the first time I've experienced this, I didn't protect this wallet with a PIN and 2fa
can it be delayed after I use 2fa and PIN for all transactions?

Is it even possible to create a wallet without any protection at all? I mean every software that you can use to create a wallet be it on ethereum, BSC or whatever other chain asks you to set a password yourself or gives you a seed phrase or a private key that you need to write down. Without the seed phrase or key no one can import your wallet to any other software. If you haved used an app or a browser wallet or exchange then you should also have a password for that app or website which you need in order to access your wallet or account that you have there. Of course the more security steps you have the better so if you have amounts >10$ somewhere, i would take the time to enable 2FA.
1526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 24, 2022, 04:04:14 PM
Everyone was guessing who could be the champion since the beginning of the league, and last night, this situation was finalized. They got a nice win against Dortmund and now they can celebrate comfortably
Bayern have been dominating the league for many years, we haven't seen a team good enough to stand against them for a long time. They continue as one of the best teams in the world Smiley

If i would have to bet right now which team will be the toughest contender for Bayern next year for the title of the Bundesliga champion i would bet my money on RB Leipzig. If they would have a better first half of the season this year than they would already be on the second place behind Bayern now. In my opinion the squad of RB Leipzig is at least as strong as the one from Dortmund and when Haaland is gone next season then Leipzig is probably stronger because officials from the club already said that Christopher Nkunku will definitely play at least one more season for RB Leipzig. Maybe they can give Bayern a hard time next year if they have a good start.
1527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT'S THE NEXT BIG BREAK IN THE BLOCKCHAIN SPACE on: April 24, 2022, 03:58:04 PM
2021 was the year of big breaks, especially for early birds, in DeFi, GameFi, Metaverse, NFTs protocols.

But Q2 '22 is gearing to break even bigger in varying protocols if you catch'em early.

Experty_io's crowd wisdom is distilled here to show you how, where and when
https://experty.io/exclusive-content-what-s-next-in-crypto-trends-for-q2-2022

I have no idea at the moment what the next big industry trend or hype will be in the crypto-space and of course your post is just a shill-attempt of the project where you are either part of the team or invested in but that is ok. Crowd wisdom protocols are nothing new though. I also know about Lithium Finance which is already listed on big exchanges like KuCoin and Huobi. As far as i know the testnet of the protocol is running and the moment and the launch of the mainnet is planned for later this year. The goal of Lithium Finance is to give a price to illiquid assets through crowd wisdom so everyone that has tokens can be part of the price finding.
1528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 23, 2022, 09:40:38 PM
Very strong performance from RedBull, was a strong response from RedBull against Ferrari. Once wait and see if it will be the same tomorrow in the long race. The race is long Ferrari and Red Bull are fast, but can the RedBull also make it to the end of the race and if so the pace and engine hold?

I could not watch the sprint race live today but from the stuff that i have seen now in the clips that are available it looks like Red Bull has the stronger car this weekend. That Leclerc was on the first place for the most part of the race was the fault of Verstappen on the start and had nothing to do with the car. Closer to the end of the sprint race it became obvious that Red Bull was able to manage their tires better and 2 laps before the end Leclerc had no more chance to hold Verstappen behind him. If the race would have been a few laps longer then i think that Perez would have been able to overtake Leclerc too. This definitely indicates that Red Bull is stronger this weekend. Now of course the car also needs to be able to finish a whole race without breaking.
1529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Move-to-Earn (M2E) tokens on: April 23, 2022, 09:21:24 PM
Have you heard about a new business model in the crypto industry called Move-to-Earn (M2E)? It's about tokenization of various forms of physical activity. According to the idea, this model should provoke more people to an active lifestyle, which will be encouraged by the tokens of the corresponding blockchain application.
At the moment, the most famous project is STEPN and their token STEPN (GMT), which has already raised almost $2 million in capitalization.
What do you think, what is the future of this business model and will there be a hype for such tokens?

I have seen STEPN for a while now among the trending projects that are listed on coinmarketcap. To be honest i have never really looked into that projects that were listed there because most of the times those projects are just meme-coins and i don't care about shit-tokens. STEPN seems to be different though. I just took a look at the chart of STEPN and early investors have already made a x30 of their initial investment. So congrats to everyone that invested early into that project but personally i would not invest into it anymore now because after such a pump there usually also comes a correction. Also i am not sure if this business model is really sustainable or just a trend that is dead withing a few weeks again.
1530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 23, 2022, 07:29:41 PM
Bayern Munich hosting Borussia Dortmund at home, left the field with a 3-1 victory. Bayern became the Bundesliga champion for the tenth time in a row with this result. Bayern had also won the German Super Cup at the start of the season. They put an embargo on championships in the Bundesliga. Bayern Munich's manager Julian Nagelsmann won his first league title in his first season at the helm of his team.

Given the fact that the Bundesliga championship was almost decided even before this match the game today between Bayern and Dortmund was not as anticipated or hyped as it was in a lot of occasions in the years before. Still the match itself was pretty interesting and exciting to watch as both teams were able to create a lot of chances to score. Bayern totally dominated the first half for me and the 2-0 lead after 45 minutes was totally deserved. In the second half Dortmund was stronger, especially in the first 15 minutes and they managed to score there. Dortmund could have even gotten another penalty but the VAR decided not to interfere. In the end Bayern won deservedly in my opinion and is now the Bundesliga Champion again.
1531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: airdrops never make money on: April 23, 2022, 07:00:49 PM
It's been more than 2 months since I joined the airdrop. and not a single token can make money. even though I have joined many airdrops. I joined the airdrop that was shared on twitter or the telegram channel and ended up in vain. I only got worthless tokens, dusting tokens, non-sellable NFTs, and what's worse there were several airdrops that required me to send a bnb for fee.

why is it so hard to earn money from airdrop now. as if being an airdrop hunter is a waste of time.

First of all, you should never participate in any airdrop that requires you to send something in advance before. Those kind of airdrops are either scams or just not worth the money as those projects seem to not even have enough money to send out those tokens themself. Regarding the profitability of airdrops i also think that the good times of airdrops are over for a few years at least now. A few years ago there were like 1 or 2 airdrops every months but those usually were pretty good and had at least a little value. Nowadays there are dozens of new airdrops each and every day and at least 99% of them is an absolute waste of time or only there to collect data from the participants.
1532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 22, 2022, 04:42:08 PM
For today match between Wolfsburg vs Mainz 05 i think away team is the favourite because in the first met Mainz already win with big score 3-0 and Wolfsburg also not in the good shape after defeated by Dortmund 6-1 last week so Mainz probably will get 3 points from this match and although Mainz was failed reach to European zone this season but they want to improved their position in standings league so this could be good opportunity for them

I have a hard time picking a favorite in the match of Wolfsburg vs. Mainz today. I mean looking at the table it is pretty obvious that Mainz was the better team so far in this season but i still think that Wolfsburg has the better individual players. I also think that Mainz is now pretty much playing for fun in the last 4 matchdays because they have enough points already to be safe from being relegated down to the second league but they also have no chacne anymore to reach a place that qualifies for an european cup. Wolfsburg on the other hand is still pretty close to the teams at the bottom of the table so they need at least 1 more win to be safe.
1533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I think Defi and NFTs will be the most important elements in the cryptospace on: April 22, 2022, 04:36:46 PM
Defi and NFTs will not only be important elements in the cryptospace, I reckon Defi will be the main element that will serve as basic infrastructure for all digital items created in the cryptospace. This will include NFTs as mentioned and will also serve cryptocoins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, other altcoins and stablecoins. Defi can also serve casinos, DAOs and many other usecases.

I definitely agree with you regarding the statement that Defi is and probably will be an important element of the whole cryptospace. When the whole Defi Hype started i also did not really understand what this was all about but i start to use those Defi products more and more. I invested a little bit of money in a token that i can recompound regularly in order to increase my interest and therefore my overall profit and i am also having some fudns now at a farm where my assets generate passive income which is great. Sadly i can only invest small amounts in such products but people that have a lot of money available could really live from that passive income. Of course there is always also some risk involved.
1534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 22, 2022, 09:12:37 AM
Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, started third place at Imola last year and won the race. Let's watch and see if he can win at Imola this year. It looks like the fight will be tougher this year because Ferrari was so strong in the first three races and there seems to be no reason why they shouldn't continue it at Imola.

I don't have a favorite driver among those that seem to be able to fight for the Championship this season (i still include Hamilton and Russell in that list too because we should never underestimate Mercedes as the season has just begun), but still i would be really happy if Verstappen would be able to at least finish the race this weekend and also reach a place at the podium. He already lost 36 safe points this season because his car was or is just not as reliable as the Ferrari or the Mercedes. I hope Red Bull already fixed that problem as of now because otherwise the gap to Ferrari and Leclerc just becomes to big to early.
1535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto profits on: April 22, 2022, 09:07:57 AM
Guys, how do you use your crypto profits? Well I started investing in crypto last year but still to earn that much profits. How about you all?

I have to admit that i am one of those notorious holder that always misses the right point to sell and then i see my portfolio value go down day by day. For example my portfolio is now like 95% down from it's ATH from back in may 2021. The main reason for that is that i mainly invested into new and upcoming projects through launchpads and of course such small projects are falling the hardest once a bull market or even only an unstable market arrives. The reason why i never sold so far is because i need to hold the coins for at least 1 year in order to not have to pay taxes on the profits i made with them. Now of course i don't sell either because the price is down so much so i wait for hopefully another bullrun.
1536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: April 21, 2022, 05:21:49 PM
Real Madrid slightly benefited in the first leg against Manchester City, almost 6-day break in the competition schedule is a good time for the Real Madrid squad to rest compared to Manchester City who still have a game against Watford this weekend. Between Manchester City and Real Madrid have match last night and both team success got good result but different with Manchester City have home match against with Watford on April 23 and four days later will against with Real Madrid, except with Madrid after last night match defeated Osasuna just waiting with Manchester City match only.

This could really be the small advantage that could make the different in the end if he match will be very close and intense over the full 90 minutes. The spanish Primera Division is known for letting their clubs skip matches that are schedule for the weekend directly before a quarter- or semi-final of the big european championships. As far as i know the spanish league is the only one that is doing that. I wonder why the english, german and italian league are not doing the same i mean in the end this can really be an advantage. I would even say if one club is doing it the other club should do that too or both clubs are not allowed to do it.
1537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Portfolio for longterm investment on: April 21, 2022, 04:46:00 PM
Do you think is is a well diversified portfolio or are there any coins in it that should be dropped and substituted.

I voted to drop Shiba Inu and Keep Network. The reason why i voted Keep Network has nothing to do with the project itself as i just don't know if it is good or not simply because i have never heard about keep network before so that vote from me basically means nothing but i had to pick 2 projects. My second pick is obviously Shiba Inu. You are saying that you want to hold your coins longterm so Shiba Inu was the obvious first pick for me. In the end it is just another shit-coin and with the hype about shit-coins slowly dying i am pretty sure that the general trend for Shiba Inu will be downwards, so my advice would be to sell yours off once you can go out with a profit.
1538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 21, 2022, 07:45:21 AM
Looks like that Union Berlin was really unlucky yesterday against Leipzig to get into the DFB Final.
They got a lot of missed chances to score more goals or even one more and then got the lucky punch in the 93 minute.
So i really hope that Freiburg will win the final but also Leipzig deserv to win the coming game.

Yes i also feel kinda sad for Union Berlin after the match yesterday. I mean they definitely were the better team for most of the first half and their goal also was well deserved at that point. In the second half Leipzig attacked more and played more aggressively as they needed a goal obviously. Still Union had a huge chance to score the 2-0 and if they would have made that goal it would have probably been game over for Leipzig, but instead Leipzig got a penalty which was pretty unlucky for Union. After Leipzig scored the equalizer Union was the better team again in my opinion. Only in the very last minutes of the game Leipzig pushed again and scored the lucky goal.
1539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really on it's death bed? on: April 21, 2022, 07:39:22 AM
The panic is gaining momentum with the recent dip in Bitcoin. What is really going to happen and how do you feel about it?

Obviously almost no one in here really thinks that bitcoin is dying just because it's price goes down a few percent or maybe even more withing a relatively short amount of time. People that are in the crypto space for a while will know that this has happened dozens of times before and each and every time bitcoin has recovered from that and most of the time even was stronger afterwards in the long run. That being said, of course no one can know if we reach another Bitcoin ATH anytime soon, if ever. I personally think that other projects have just way more usability and scalability than Bitcoin has. Of course Bitcoin is still the king for a lot of crypto enthusiasts as it was the project that started all.
1540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 20, 2022, 04:10:39 PM
This has been speculated about for a long time and now it has become official.

''Russian and Belarusian players will not be allowed to compete at Wimbledon this year because of the invasion of Ukraine.''
''It is understood the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) will confirm the move later on Wednesday.''

I don't know what i should think about this. Of course the Russian invasion of the Ukraine is horrible and should be stopped immediately but it just can not see any connection between Russian tennisplayers and that war besides from the fact that they are russian of course, but that does not make them guilty of any actions that their government has planned and executed.
I also think, that it is not that easy for those players to make an official statement against the war and therefore also against their government. Their family members and friends are probably still in Russia and if those players are now attacking the government it would also affect those family members and friends.
