1441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smart decision I made toward the end of the bull run on: May 15, 2022, 10:32:13 PM
I converted all all my altcoins to btc and eth and solona and stop listen to youtubers.
The youtubers can ruin your life. make your own decision and you will be fine.
This is relevant for me.

Well BTC, ETH and Solana did fall pretty hefty too in the last few days and weeks so you have still made quite a big loss, but i also think that if you would have kept your small cap altcoins and maybe even meme-coins then your loss would be even higher so you definitely made a good move there. I would usually say you should have transfered that altcoins into stable coins in order to be completely safe before the dump comes but then there would also be chance that you would have turned it into UST and then you would have lost the majority of your capital. I have to say though that BTC did fall quite a bit. Usually the BTC price is more robust in comparison to the other coins.
1442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Final! on: May 15, 2022, 01:29:25 PM
liferpol is in promising form, liferpol just beat Chelsea in the FA cup, and has managed to secure 2 titles this season, the victory that liferpol got last night must be paid dearly, because Mohammad was wrongly withdrawn at the beginning of the round, because he had an injury, while the final The Champions League is only 14 days away, it's a shame if Mohammad is wrong he can't strengthen liferpol in the final, because the Champions League final is very important for Mohammad to make a revenge mission against Real Madrid.

Liverpool is really showing a good overall performance in the last few games even though they only managed to achieve a draw against against Tottemham last week, but you can not expect a team to win every single game and Tottenham is also a very strong team so no shame in only playing draw there. That means though that the chances for the Premier League title are pretty slim now in my opinion.
What could be an important factor that is on Real Madrid's side is the fact that Liverpool has to play so many matches at the moment. They won the FA cup but they had to play 120 minutes and then go to the penalty shootout to win it. So they have definitely invested a lot energy there.
1443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to put money in ETH? on: May 15, 2022, 01:25:01 PM
Is it a good time to put some money into eth, or is it falling more?

If it continues to fall for another few days or even weeks or months knows no one maybe except a few huge whales that have enough to power to manipulate the market but besides from that everyone can just give their best guesses if the market will start to recover now or if we are in for another dump in the next few days.
In general i think that bear markets or big temporary dumps are a great opportunity to buy into projects that are usually to expensive already and those projects are for me the big and already established ones like Solana, Polkadot, Cosmos and of course also Ethereum. So i if you are planning to hodl your ETH for a long time then i think 2k USD is a good entry price.
1444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 14, 2022, 09:49:00 PM
And Bayern Munich has lost points again today. It is that the difference with the rest of teams was actually made a while ago, but this Bayern of this season has indeed proved vulnerable. However, I think the difference with the rest of the teams in the league was just way too big this season. Normally only Borussia Dortmund can come close to Bayern Munich, but more teams usually can't. And Dortmund is now also losing Haaland.

I don't really think that you can count the match of today as a normal game, because in the end it was a match where both teams pretty much played for nothign anymore. Bayern was already the Bundesliga Champion 3 matchdays before and Wolfsburg was also already safe to play again in the first Bundesliga next year. If this would have been a home game for Bayern Munich i am sure that they would have invested more into the game but being an away game they just did what they had to do and nothing more. I agree though that Bayern was not as strong as they were in many seasons in the last few years and they definitely need to change something for the next season.
1445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lesson learnt from the crypto asset failure on: May 14, 2022, 09:44:23 PM
Unfortunately we have seen one of the biggest scam/failure of the project LUNA /UST where people have lost million/billions of dollars invested in them. We can't foresee such incidents but one thing is that if we follow the best practices of portfolio management, we could have minimize the loss.

No crypto assets in our portfolio should be that big, that in case of a mishap, our whole portfolio get a big hit. Also this means not to put all eggs in one basket in our crypto portfolio.

I caught myself a lot of time in the last few weeks and months regretting the fact that i did not invest into terra a last year or early this year because a few weeks ago it was often the case that Terra was losing way less when the whole market went down but gained more than the average projects when the market went up. This way Terra found it's way into the top 10 of all crypto projects which was pretty amazing at that point. Now of course i am lucky that i did not invest into Terra because it looks like that it would be a total loss of my funds at the moment. I feel sad for everyone who had a bag of Terra and i hope that you did not invest money that you can not afford to lose into it.
1446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 14, 2022, 11:02:59 AM
Still on Gabriel Jesus transfer to Arsenal, reports says that Gabriel Jesus have agreed personal terms with Arsenal, with a proposal of a five year deal from Arsenal on the table. It is aso reported that Mancity are demanding atleast 50 million to 60 million pounds for the Brazilian, but Arsenal have initially submitted 40 million. It is yet to be seen whether Mancity will accept it or not,but I guess it will be dependant on Arsenal qualifying for champions league or not.

I have to say, that the price range of 40 to 50 Million pounds seems surprisingly appropriate and reasonable to me. Especially for transfers between two clubs of the English premier League. I mean i am used to clubs paying 50 or 60 Million for absolutely average players that are actually not worth more than 20 Million because the Premier League clubs just have the money to pay that because of their extremely high income from the TV stations. For example Grealish is never worth 100 Million pounds but ManCity paid it anyway. Gabriel Jesus showed some very good performances in the last few game and also in the Champions League and i think that around 50 Million pounds would be a fair price for him for the standards of today.
1447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna just became the new Shiba Inu on: May 14, 2022, 10:53:31 AM
I know it sounds crazy but hear me out. Crypto is mostly about speculation, lets be honest. Of the 30 or so predictions I heard on YouTube and Twitter about "how high" could Bitcoin go in this bull run ( the 2021 / 2022 bull run ) only ONE got it right ( I won't tell you which one, but I'm sure many of you can guess who ) Most others were way, waaaaaaay off !
So regarding LUNA, and given its past history ( prior to the collapse ) and notoriety I think we're looking at the new Shiba Inu. Why so ? Well basically I don't see how the price can get much lower. One day ago in fact, the price was pretty close to the price of Shiba Inu. But forget the price. LUNA is now the most speculative play in crypto. Could it go to 10 cents ? how about a dollar ? Ten dollars ? Nobody knows. In the short term most likely will go to 0.0000010  but longer term anything could happen. And by the way, was there a single Influencer who saw this coming ? NOT ONE ! So if Shiba Inu made 100X or whatever, I think LUNA can match or even set a new record. It's no longer about the failure of UST or the lack of foresight of the founders, it's all about speculating that LUNA could one day become a good ( not great ) project again. Now let me go check my LUNA balance... Just bought 1 million tokens  Grin

It is definitely true that the whole crypto space is based around speculation and hype to a very large degree and sometimes very important factors of a project like use-case, the team, the roadmap and so on are not that important in terms of popularity as they should be in my opinion. I mean if use-cases and functionality would be the most important factor then meme-coins (or shit-coins) would not even exist or would be dead within a day or two again but with Dogecoin and Shiba-Inu we have two shit-coins that are even in the top 20 of all crypto projects.
Regarding Terra (Luna): The investment into Terra is now very very speculative because no one knows if this project completely dies or recovers again. If it recovers i think a very high profit is possible. Maybe i will invest a few bucks into Terra too.
1448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 13, 2022, 04:56:24 PM
Barcelona will never be the same after Messi. However, the fact that they could not be in the champions league this year revealed the need for a great transfer. Levo, on the other hand, knows that Bayern Munich is far from the champions league cup. If it happens, it will be a very legendary transfer.

You know that FC Bayern and FC Barcelona where in the same group in the Champions League this season and that FC Bayern has won both of those games with 3-0? So if FC Bayern is far from winning the Champions League cup, what is FC Barcelona then? So if he really wants to join Barcelona then not because he thinks that his chances for a Champions League title are higher there but for other reasons. One could be that FC Barcelona is offering a higher salary than FC Bayern does, which would be crazy because Bayern is offering 24 Million € as far as i know and FC Barcelona is completely broke with 1,3 Billion € of debts so if they are offering more they should be banned right away in my opinion. I would guess that Lewandowski just wants to play for another big club in his career.
1449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Careful! on: May 13, 2022, 04:47:19 PM
Careful yous guys. In this deep bear market there will be new altcoins that will be spreading around claiming they are one of the coins that were hit by the dump and might be a good decision to invest with because of their cheap price.

Just a bit of advise from a long time crypto investor. It happened to me and became a victim of it so might as well share it with you before you make wrong decisions.

For me a deep and long bear market is the best opportunity to invest into crypto projects that i would not normally invest in because early investors already made a x100 or even more on their initial investment. That is the reason why i usually don't buy any tokens of the big projects like ethereum, polkadot, solana, cosmos and so on, but after a long bear market those projects could be in my buying range again. At the moment we are still a bit away from that to be honest but we will see where this bear market is heading and if it is over again pretty soon or if we will have more bloody months to come. Investing into very small projects is dangerous now though as there is always the chance that they won't survive a long bear market.
1450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Final! on: May 13, 2022, 10:22:35 AM
Real Madrid are the most difficult team to beat especially in finals, the statistics is in their favor. This season Real Madrid have had the most difficult run in the knockout stages to the final. So it's quite fair to think they deserve winning it.

If you compare both teams and their way how they made it into the finals of the Champions League, then it is pretty obvious that Real Madrid had way harder opponents there. All matchups in the knockout stage where Real Madrid was involved were total bangers and Real was basically the underdog in everyone of those matchups but still they managed to advance in everyone of those matches. Liverpool on the other hand had way easier opponents (maybe except Inter in the first round) and therefore their matches were not so spectacular and exciting because they just did what everyone expected them to do but of course that does not mean that Liverpool is not as strong as Real Madrid.
1451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hard lesson I learnt from crypto in 2 Years on: May 13, 2022, 10:14:49 AM
1, Never  listen to YouTubers they are bums .
2. BTC is the king. The ratio should be like BTC/ETH 80%  rest alts.
3. Make a decision - When big opportunities knock the door make decisions fast.  trust your gut. Examples are Elon musk shill dogecoin first time. Facebook change the name to Meta. You have to make a decision when is happening the same day.
Like when you have the opportunity to go out with a girl you like. Make a decision now. All these  waiting and thinking is  killing you.  Think fast.

To your fist point: I totally agree and of course this is not only true for youtubers but for every crypto influencer out there may it be on twitter, facebook or whatever platform they are on. All they do is to shill their own bags and none of them really cars about their followers. They just shill a project that they are already own themself, so their followers are buying it and then they dump on them. Maybe there are a few good influencers out there, but i have not seen one yet.

To your second point: If you wanna go for a relatively safe investment then of course i agree but if you are going for potential moonshots like x10 or more in a realtively short time then you have to invest into small alts. The risk their of a total loss of your investment is way higher this way obviously but you should not invest money that you need for living anyway.
1452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 12, 2022, 07:28:10 PM
Freiburg had a chance to move up to fourth place in the table and qualify for the Champions League. They missed the opportunity. Now they are unlikely to qualify for the Champions League. Because Leipzig will play their last match against Arminia Bielefeld. The team is very weak. They will not be able to defeat Leipzig

Even though Freiburg is probably one of my most favoured clubs in the Bundesliga i have to say that it is probably the best for both clubs if Freiburg is finishing on the 5th position and Leipzig on the 4th. I just think that Freiburg is playing an exceptional season this year and after such a great season it happens pretty often that the next one is very very hard. A few years ago Freiburg also reached the Uefa Europa League and in the next season they were relegated down to the second Bundesliga. I think that Freiburg is much stronger now than they were a few years ago but the Champions League is still too much for them and they would probably have to deal with a lot of losses their. I think Leipzig has just way better chances to be successful in the Champions League.
1453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holy Crap ! Terra is gone to zero ?!?! on: May 12, 2022, 07:22:47 PM
Down 100 % on CoinMarket Cap !! What !?!

Yeah that is really crazy. Even yesterday and the day before i was always thinking about investing a few bucks into Terra when it was around 2 USD or so and i was already regretting it when i did not buy them when it went up to around 6 dollars yesterday but now i am pretty happy that i did not buy any Terra. I am not really sure at the moment if Terra will have a future and if they can recover from that huge losses that happened the last few days and are still happening at the moment. The sad thing is that Terra is bringing down pretty much the whole crypto market with them after all Terra was a top 10 project.
1454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Final! on: May 12, 2022, 05:44:40 AM
Rangers are wishing to win the Europa League for the first time in history while they are this much close to making it. Although I know that Frankfurt are also very effective now, I still think like Rangers can manage to win this game. I really love the way they compete with each one of their opponents in this tournament. Frankfurt might be a more challenging opponent maybe but I still see Rangers a little ahead. It would be nice for them to win this title for the first time.

I actually think that the squad of Eintracht Frankfurt is slightly stronger than the one from the Rangers, but of course that does not really matter that much in a final. The same is true though for the fact that the top goal scorer of the competition is Tavernier from the Rangers as Kamada from Frankfurt has only scored 2 goals less than him and Rafael Borre is also in a great shape at the moment. If i had to make a guess then i would go with Frankfurt as the winner but only by a very small margin.
1455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Its time to buy - end of bear market incoming on: May 12, 2022, 05:36:00 AM
After first bullish day i think its good day to invest now.

Well seems like you were a bit to early with your investments if you have really bought yesterday, but of course that is easy to say now. I also have no idea, if we are now close to the bottom or if we will still go way lower than where we are now. I mean it is definitely possible, that Bitcoin goes to 20000 $ and Ethereum to 1500 $ each. Smaller altcoins would go down even harter then. I have some USDN laying around but sadly it's price is also way off it's peg price of 1 Dollar at the moment.
1456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Final! on: May 11, 2022, 01:17:05 PM
Many people out there believe that Liverpool will win the UCL, this is probably because Liverpool will at least get 1 title this season. But never forget the winning mentality that Real Madrid have, they can make the unlikely thing possible, as happened recently when they played Manchester City, and also when they played Atletico Madrid in the Final.

For me the strongest team of all football clubs in the world was and is Manchester City in this season and i really don't like clubs like ManCity or Paris Saint Germain that are basically toys of sheikhs and oligarchs but the truth is the truth. They were my big favorite to finally win the champions League this year and it is almost tragic to me that they have failed to reach the final again, even though they were the better team against Real Madrid too.
Somehow Real managed to beat them though and i don't see any reason why they should not be able to beat Liverpool too, especially as the final is only 1 game and there factors like luck, efficiency and also timing are even more important than in the semi-final.
1457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What a bear market actually looks like on: May 11, 2022, 01:07:55 PM
Bear market haven't even started yet, if you know how ugly a bear market gets you won't be buying altcoins right now, how many altcoins have died so far due to bear market? None right? Well let me tell you, a bear market is a death bringer for altcoins, all those meme coins and shitcoins that you are eyeing won't live to see the end of the bear market, its always so painful for altcoins to stay alive at such season.
You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet.

Nobody can really know if we are already at the bottom or if we are having maybe another 1 or 2 years of bear market ahead of us. Also i don't think that the death of altcoins is a process that is going so fast that you can actually witness it. Maybe now the whole events around Terra could be one of those rare cases where a pretty big project could die literally within a few days because of that whole UST crash in the last few days. Terra is now at 0,85$ while it was still at above 100$ like a week ago that is absolutely crazy.
Overall i would say the death of all those useless meme-coins has already begun a few months ago because the hype is over and they are now slowly but surely dying. A hefty bear market speeds up this process of course.
1458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 11, 2022, 10:21:54 AM
now it's 100%. Erling Haaland moves to Manchester City ! city has to pay 75 million euros. that's really cheap.  Grin
Erling Haaland now gets 440,000 euros every week. that's a nice sum .
now the 21 year old young man has enough money for the next few years and can buy a little btc.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund has also officially confirmed that Haaland is leaving the club for Manchester City, since Dortmund is a stock market listed club, they have to publish such news. What I also find interesting is the fact that it is now reported by several sites that the exit clause was not at 75M€ but "only" at 60 M€. In the end, it was only a matter of time until this transfer was made official, as it had been clear for months that Haaland would probably go to Manchester City.
To be honest i also think that ManCity was pretty much the only club that really tried to sign Haaland. Barcelona is completely broke, Real Madrid is also broke but they want to sign Mbappe and FC Bayern has also stated that they are not interested in Haaland.

1459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIP LUNA & UST ! Is USDD be same like that.. on: May 11, 2022, 10:12:11 AM
Luna is a role model no doubt and LUNA is the only reason for the Popularity of the Pegged Decentralized stable currency in true words. But Luna showed a massive DIP reason its stable coin pegged with the LUNA lost its value to 77 cents remember that it's due to market fud/panic and heavy transfer of funds so Whatever the reason but due that LUNA made 50% dip estimated. $5B a massive Capital loss in the UST.

If a so called stable coin is not really stable and is fluctuating more than 1 or 2 percent of above or below the currency that it is pegged to it is already bad enough in my opinion because this means if you transfer 10000 $-pegged stable coins to "real" USD then you will lose 200$ if the stablecoin price is only 2% to low. What we are witnessing with UST at the moment though is on a completely different level. The price of UST was at 0,30 a few hours ago. No it's price is back at 0,47 $ at the moment but of course this is still absolutely catastrophic for the whole Terra ecosystem. I can really imagine that this could be the end of Terra.
1460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 10, 2022, 06:11:53 PM
Haaland in Barcelona could happen only if Haaland takes a huge pay cut to whatever he could be paid in City, I mean 500k per week is not a small amount, I do not know how they do it, like is it 52 weeks, or is it just playing weeks, but in the end, it’s going to be plenty of money, 20 million at the very least, probably a lot more than that with incentives as well.
He does deserve that to be fair to him, but he never played in a major team before and that is why he is getting this money, after 3-4 years of playing in Barcelona or city, he could get offers as high as Mbappe does. For the time being, he should get the biggest payer and just be there.

I don't think that a transfer of Haaland to FC Barcelona is realistic at all. Barcelona has 1,3 Billion € worth of debts and even though they have proven time and time again that they can not really handle money but even they should responsible enough to not pay more than 300 M€ for the whole Haaland package which also includes 30 M€ that Haalands father is demanding just for his son to sign to a new club, absolutely ridiculous. Barcelona can just not afford to make such a transfer and if they would really try to sign Haaland i would hope that the authorities step in to prevent that. In the end they have 1,3 Billion € of debts which means they owe that money to somebody else and they should not make big transfer until they have payed most of that money back.
