1461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's the ethereum killer ... on: May 10, 2022, 05:52:45 PM
in your opinion which blockchain could beat the Ethereum ... and why  Huh ?

For me the only real Ethereum "killer" is ethereum itself. If they are able to finally make the full switch to PoS and if this then means that the transaction costs are going down significantly then i don't think that any other project can really "kill" ethereum. By significantly lower transaction costs i am talking about below 1 USD and perfect would be a fee of around 0,10 USD because then Ethereum would be fully usable also for small purchases and small trades again. If they can do that within the next 1 or 2 years then Ethereum will definitely stay the number 1 smart contract platform and deservedly so, as they have invented all that stuff.
1462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 10, 2022, 11:41:44 AM
another rumor from the english premier league...
sky germany reports that the german serial champion bayern munich is said to be interested in the senegalese international player Sadio Mane from fc liverpool...

As a Bayern supporter i hope that this rumor turns out to not be true to be honest. I mean Mane is already 30 years old, he has a very high market value of 80 M€ and his contract is still running until the end of next season and if Bayern would really want to sign him for the coming season already then i woul dguess that they would have to pay at least 60 M€ for him and i think that this is just to much for a player that is already 30 years old. I would rather take that money and would invest it into younger players which are extremely talented like Christopher Nkunku from Leipzig or Florian Wirtz of Bayern Leverkusen instead.
1463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Terra USD, proved its not a stablecoin on: May 10, 2022, 11:37:12 AM
price: $.67 during the time of the post
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/terra-usd
Does anyone know why its losing its value? I havent dived into terra because i am not interested on the project. Im glad, I didnt since i think TerraUsd and Terra affect each other.
I think terra will be exposed a project that is just a big ponzi scheme.

I am not invested into Terra myself but i still remember that few weeks ago Terra was pumping pretty hard and overall the performance of this coin was very impressive as it went from below 1 USD to over 100 USD in a hear and a half. I also don't really know how the mechanics behind UST are working but i would guess that if the sell pressure is just to much at a given time the price will drop and of course once it starts dropping people will become nervous and also begin to sell which makes it even worse of course. There was a similar issue with USDN (USD Neutrino from the waves platform) a few weeks ago but now it has stabilized again and i think it will be the same for UST.

german sports magazine kicker reports that the transfer of Erling Haaland to manchester city is getting closer. as borussia dortmund confirmed at the request of dpa, the norwegian striker was "allowed to settle personal matters" on the training-free monday. an announcement is expected before the end of this week Shocked

I really hope this transfer is being completed and officially confirmed within the next few days because i am already pretty tired about all the rumors and news about where Haaland could play in the next season. In the end i think that there are not really that much other options for Haaland besides ManCity because Barcelona and Real Madrid both have a huge amount of debts and can not really afford to sign Haaland and Bayern Munich does not want to spend that much on a young player where no one can surely know if he can keep performing on such a high level as he did in the last 2 seasons. I also hope that ManCity is not meeting the demands of Haalands father that wants 30 Million € for himself for basically nothing. That is just ridiculous.
1465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT could grow 35% by 2027 on: May 10, 2022, 06:01:36 AM
It is somewhat surprising how NFTs are increasing, we hope that in these 5 years in the future they will be able to spread more. With the news reflecting growing interest in the non-fungible token (NFT) space among current investors, new research predicts that the current $3 billion market size will reach $13.6 billion by the end of 2027.

A growth by 35% within 5 years seems like a positive but still a very realistic forecast to me and is a nice little exception of all those other forecasts that people are making withing the crypto space like: "Bitcoin will reach a price of 1 Million USD each by 2025" and stuff like that. I can definitely imagine that there are 35% more NFT's minte in 2027 than there are now i would even say this is a very conservative forecast because minting NFT's has become more and more easy. The question is will all this NFT's also have a real value in terms of use case and will they also have a real demand so that people are willing to pay for them. If they are just minted once and never touched again then they are pretty useless in my opinion.
1466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Final! on: May 09, 2022, 03:15:50 PM
Only 10 days left, we will again witness an exciting and very thrilling match between Rangers vs Frankfurt which will take place at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan (Sevilla) field, both teams do have the same great opportunity to be able to ensure the title and qualify for the champions league. next season, Frankfurt play inconsistently in the domestic league but shine in the European league, maybe they will do everything they can to be able to play in the champions league next season, I am also optimistic that Frankfurt can lift the European league title this year.

I think that this is a great final for the Europa League because the participating teams are not some very big clubs that just did not make it this year in the Champions League and now they are trying to "at least" win the lesser Europa League competition. For both Eintracht Frankfurt and the Glasgow Rangers it is very special that they are in this final and they will do absolutely everything to win it as it would be a very huge success for them. I have a hard time of picking a favorite for this match. I think that Frankfurt has the slightly better squad but in the end it is a final and only one game and factors like timing and luck are way important than the quality of the squad.
1467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help a newbie choose a better stable coin on: May 09, 2022, 03:12:25 PM
I'm looking forward to store some stable coin for future investment, maybe probably when a harder bearish market takes place to buy coins for lesser price but I can't seem to figure with stable coin can make me have a good night sleep at night with zero worries, USDT? BUSD?

I think that both stablecoins that you have mentioned should be pretty safe i mean in the end you can never be 100% sure but if we really assuming that USDT or BUSD are going down to 0 then this will drag the whole cryptomarket down with them and it would take a lot of time to recover from that in my opinion. The only concern with USDT is that it is not clear anymore if every USDT that is minted is really backed by a real USD anymore because the team of USDT changed the wording a few years ago from "every USDT is back by real USD" to "we have enough reserves to back every USDT by a real USD" but no one really knows what that means.
USDC are also a good alternative.
1468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: May 08, 2022, 09:32:01 PM
Except Norris' crash it was a clean race. Verstappen started good and made another good attack to secure first place. Sainz didn't let Perez to pass him. Ferrari couldn't get the win but both racers made podium. They may be okay with that.
Mick Schumacher almost got his first points but in last laps he had a contact and got dropped out of first ten. In Mercedes Russell and Hamilton's competition was entertaining. It was a pretty decent race, looking forward to see more races in this track.

It was a pretty nice race to watch today and definitely not boring. I was surprised that the cars could stay out that long on the medium tires and George Russell could have probably driven the complete race with his starting hard tyres but of couse the rules are that you need to change the tyres at least once in a race and he was very lucky that he stayed out for so long as the safety car had to come out pretty late in the race after the crash of Lando Norris and Pierre Gasly so the gamble of Russell was successful in this case.
Also i feel pretty sad for Mick Schumacher as he would have gotten the first points in his career but then he crashed with his best buddy Vettel close to the end of the race..very very unlucky for both.
1469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel about algorithmic stablecoin staking? on: May 08, 2022, 09:28:27 PM
Stablecoins like UST, USN, USDD have a very tricky link to the dollar and the collateral pool, in the form of a native token of a particular blockchain, be it LUNA, NEAR, TRON, etc. Such projects offer or are about to offer 20-30% per annum in staking these stablecoins. Not a bad interest rate, is it? But will these projects be able to provide such a high interest rate all the time, and won't that provoke a cascading collapse of both the stablecoins, with the loss of the peg and a cascading collapse of the native tokens that act as reserve collateral?
After all, such high payouts to stakers must be accompanied by constant replenishment of these projects reserve funds. But what will happen if the money stops flowing in the right amount?

After the pump of Waves to over 50$ a few weeks ago i sold my waves (i did only have a few sadly) and now i have some USDN sitting in my waves wallet that are doing nothing. My first plan was to trade those USDN into USDC or USDT and then put those into the algorithmic trading pools of the waves wallet, but i could not do that because Waves was crashing very hard after that pump and even took USDN with it to a price of around 0,70 USD which was pretty crazy as USDN should be a stable coin after all. This pretty much has made me lose some trust into the whole waves platform and i am not so sure anymore if i should really invest my stablecoins there.
1470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 08, 2022, 04:33:27 PM
Bayern Munich is already behind again. They are lucky that the rest have left so many points from the start. This is definitely not the dominant Bayern Munich from years ago. They have lost quite a few points in the competition. In the Champions League it was also a failure against Villareal. it would be good for German football if a team like RB Leipzig or Leverkusen were to become champions one time. Dortmund would also be possible, but they will miss Haaland next season.

We are in the half time break and now Bayern is up with 2-1 again. It is pretty obvious that the remaining games are not very important anymore for the Bayern Team as they are already the bundesliga Champion again and they are already out of the Champions League and the DFB Pokal which means they don't really need to keep the focus anymore because there are no more important games coming up in other competitions. They still should show at least a decent performance because after all there are around 70.000 spectators today in the stadium that want to see a nice game and have paid for a ticket.
1471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SOL The Chain Goes down Again ! ETH 2.0 and upgrade is the only solution ? on: May 08, 2022, 04:28:54 PM
Personal Openion I don't preffer Sol or any other network above ETH. ETH provide Sustainability, Transperency, Secure Transections, A massive Network qith Most of Dapps and Base of all the Decentralized Finance. Transections Cost is the only issue with ETH network hoping to be fixed someday but things are much better now compared to last year.

I think the main reason why the transactions costs are not as high at the moment as they were a year ago or so is the fact that the there is just not so much traffic on the Ethereum network at the moment. As soon as there is a big news coming or a big pump or dump happening the transaction price will go above 100gwei pretty fast. The past has shown that. That being said i am still a big fan of Ethereum and it's network even though i don't own any ETH myself, but Ethereum just paved the way for all those other smart contract platforms that are existing today.
Regarding Sol and it's bugs. It seems like those events never really have a big impact on the price of Sol which is weird.
1472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PH banned online cockfighting - Worst gambling-related cases recorded! on: May 07, 2022, 10:39:19 PM
Fights between animals should be prohibited because they are bloody, unethical and harmful.
I understand that they bring income to the State but in the end it is an industry that takes resources without producing anything, at most simple entertainment.

I totally agree with you here. In general i would say that i am really not one of those snowflakes that wants to ban anything or wants everyone to stop eating meat or stuff like that but i really have a soft spot for animals and i just think they should be treated well and only be killed if it is necessary (for example to produce food). I know that those cocks are treated and fed pretty well as soon as they are alive but that does not change the fact that their owners still let them fight to the death. If i remember correctly than in a lot of cases they even replace their normal spur with knives to make the fight even bloodier. So i would be happy if all cock fighting would be banned.
We are talking about the online betting on cockfighting here though and i definitely see a good reason why it has been banned. It just makes the betting way more accessible for everyone and therefore also the chance to become addicted to it.
1473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am curious about bounties on: May 07, 2022, 10:25:10 PM
I am looking to try out a bounty campaign using signature but I don't see anyone worth my time right now, I do have a question about this, does it make more sense to promote projects that are already trading over those that are not listed on exchange yet? I see so many that aren't listed like whsiperMSG, Valore, Elysian Finance, they don't look like they will be hitting an exchange any time soon.

What and what makes you promote a project?.

With your rank i think there are only altcoin bounties available for you at the moment. I can totally understand you if you don't want to invest a lot of time and effort into bounty campaigns of altcoin projects that you have never heard of before and that are paying with their own token. In the end i would guess that 95% of the rewards of all bounties that are offered at the moment in the altcoin section will never have a real value. Those projects often have a hard time to really generate interest in their token and therefore they either never really pay out the bounty reward or the reward is just not worth anything at all.
1474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 07, 2022, 09:19:40 PM
Freiburg's unexpected defeat seems to deprive them of their Champions League qualification. Leipzig need only defeat two weak teams - Augsburg and Arminia - to guarantee themselves 4th place. Freiburg has one away game with Bayer and although Bayer secured third place today, I don't think it will be possible to take 3 points there.

Even though i think that SC Freiburg is a very likeable team and i basically always hope before the beginning of the season that they are doing well and that they don't have to fight against being relegated for the whole season and therefore i am very happy that they are doing so well so far. I also have to say though that it would be probably to much if they would really reach a position that would qualify for the champions league next season. Last time when they have qualified for the Europa League they had to go down to the second Bundesliga in the season after that because that additional game were just to much for them. I hope they can deal with this better next year as they will surely play in a european cup then.
1475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best coins to buy in bear market on: May 07, 2022, 09:09:39 PM
Is this a good portfolio in general and during bear market or do you think that 8 coins are too much and i should try to reduce the coins?
edit: SOL is not in that list because it has been so unstable recently

In general i think that bear markets are a great opportunity for everyone to buy into projects that are big and established already. I usually avoid investing into projects where early investors already made a x50 or even more with it, but when a real bear market hits and those projects are down more than 50% of their ATH again then it might be a good point to invest into them. Of course you never know if those projects keep on falling a lot from the point where you bought in but we just have to live with that as it is almost impossible to hit the perfect time for investing.
I have to say it think that all of your listed coins are ok for an investment, i personally would not invest into ApeCoin though.
1476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Semifinals! on: May 06, 2022, 08:21:38 PM
The UEFA Champions League have given most fans excitement and other saddle because of loses I see Manchester City fans looking gloomy because of their last match with real Madrid and the unexpected lost.

I am not rally a fan of clubs like Paris Saint Germain, FC Chelsea and also Manchester City because all of them are owned by sheikhs or oligarchs and therefore they don't have to earn their own money like other clubs and in general all other companies have to do. Especially in football this is pretty unfair in my opinion as those clubs are direct competitors of all the other clubs that don't have that hue advantage.
That being said, ManCity is using it's money with a little bit of sense at least while PSG for example just buys every big name out there and still does not win anything.
So i kinda hope that Pep Guardiola manages to win the Champions League while he is still at ManCity.
1477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What might occur on the next bear market on: May 06, 2022, 08:16:48 PM
Much of the gamefi ecosystem will also die with only a very few of those projects to survive. We are presently already witnessing this.

I totally agree with that statement. Play2earn and Metaverse were one of the biggest topics in the whole cryptospace in the last two year or so. After the first few projects of that genre were extremely successful a lot of other people also wanted to profit from that hype and created their own play2earn and metaverse projects. Of course those projects were just copycasts of the already existing ones and only created in order to make some quick and dirty money without putting to much effort in. I would guess that almost all of that projects from the second generation of play2earn and metaverse will be dead pretty soon.
1478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Semifinals! on: May 06, 2022, 10:41:23 AM
I can say that I feel bad for Leipzig, I didn't think they would lose this match. Rangers scored more goals and had a chance to reach the final, that's all.
I wonder what they can do in the final, I wouldn't be surprised if Rangers wins this year. Last night's match was very enjoyable, I love exciting matches.
Rangers was really good Smiley

Yes i also feel bad for Leipzig because i think this match came at the wrong time now because after a very strong second half of the season overall until a few weeks ago they have shown some pretty poor performances in the last few matches. They lost their last two matches in the Bundesliga too. If Leipzig would have been in the shape of a few weeks ago then i think they would have not had big problems to beat the rangers yesterday, but that was just not the case.
The final is now totally open for me. I think on paper Frankfurt has the slightly better team but that does not mean anything in a final. Luck can be a big factor there too.
1479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance joins funding for Elon Musk's takeover of Twitter on: May 06, 2022, 10:37:40 AM
After Binance bought into Forbes magazine on February of this year, it appears Changpeng Zhao is buying into another valuable maintream company. This time it is Twitter, a platform where much of the venture capitalists, founders, whales and influencers of the cryptospace share their thoughts, their predictions and their speculations. It appears that with Binance's investments outside of the cryptospace, it has only one direction to go and this is going up only hehehe.

Binance seems to keep growing and growing and is already spreading outside of the crypto space with it's investements. I am not a big fan of Binance to be honest because it is never good if one company or institution controlls to much within an environment. I also was not happy when Binance bought coinmarketcap a while ago because now this site is also not neutral anymore but just another tool for Binance to avertise for their own platform and to get new users onto their exchange. For example with all those airdrop lotteries that are going on now on coinmarketcap where only a few people win in the end but everyone has to have an Binance account in order to participate.

So.. Cresswell gets red carded in their 1st QF game against Lyon in the 45th minute. West Ham manages to draw the game and progress after a great away game in France.
Cresswell returns and gets RED CARDED in 19th minute of their 2nd semifinal - giving Eintracht a clear path to the final.
I really don't know what I'd tell him if I was Moyes.

To get a red card that early in the game was really unlucky for Westham and definitely a huge factor in the match today. I also have to say though that this red card was totally deserved as the player of frankfurt could have moved completely alone towards the goal otherwise and thankfully the video referee insisted there and let the referee check that scene again. Overall i think that Frankfurt has deserved to go through to the final. They were the better team over the two legs in my opinion and the fans were just great today again.
The result of the other match is very surprising to me as Leipzig had the best squad out of all 4 teams that were in the semi final.
