1421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin question and answer better option to earn money in crypto on: May 20, 2022, 06:26:46 PM
::)Altcoins are always in the news, should we change our coin according to crypto trends

I think that a lot of the people that are very active traders are doing that. They are always observing social media, telegram channels and maybe also this forum for any new trends and projects that are coming up and that are interesting to invest in. Then the goal is to get in as early as possible. In most cases this means to buy immediately when the project gets listed on pancakeswap for example. The problem here is that a lot of people wil try to do that at the same time when the project is interesting and therefore you have to set a high slippage and gas price in order to get through with your buy order. Then once the project shot up they sell it again after maybe even only a few minutes.
1422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: May 20, 2022, 01:14:18 PM
You are sure that the RedBull is better than the Ferrari? I think the cars are equally fast but Ferrari has more potential to go up. Four tenths? That would be a bit much and the updates have to work first... But for the sake of suspense alone, I hope that neither of the two drives away, a title fight until the last race would be desirable again.
Yes, Ferrari got a pole position in the latest GP only when Max did a Mistake.
Also on races, Redbull was faster in the latest GPS.

I also think that the car of Red Bull is slightly faster than the one of Ferrari at the moment. In the qualifying it seems like Ferrari is still ahead by a very small margin but in the race the Red Bull is just a little bit faster it seems. The reason for that is probably that Ferrari is creating more downforce than the Red Bull which means that Ferrar can get the tyres on the right temperature faster which is great for the qualifying but of course this also menas that in the race the tyres of the Ferrari also get hot earlier which is a bad thing in the race of course. For this reason, Verstappen could always catch up in the course of the race and then finally also overtake LeClerc.
1423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna 2.0 Good Idea? on: May 20, 2022, 01:06:41 PM
What happens to the old LUNA 1.0 and its holders when the LUNA 2.0 is airdropped? and do you think it will be beneficial because most people have lost trust in them and lost all the investments

Usually when a crypto project has to make a new token because of changes to the protocol or because there was a mistkae in the old code or a hack appeared or just to relaunch a project like in the case of Luna then usually the "old" tokens just lose all their value basically. I mean they are not dead or something so you can still send those old tokens around and even sell them on exchanges like pancakeswap or something if you find someone that buys it from you by mistake.
I don't really know what to think about the Luna relaunch as i am not following it that closely because i don't own any Luna myself but such a relaunch could be the only hope that is left for Luna holders.. so good luck.
1424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - 2nd Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 19, 2022, 09:29:21 PM
The match has ended with a narrow advantage of Hamburger SV.
this is a signal for them because with this win they have already set half their foot in the premier league next season.
even though this is still not certain but of course for the 2nd leg, especially they will play at home, it is clear that their confidence is increasing

I watched the game and i have to say that the Hamburger SV was definitely the deserved winner today as they did more for the game overall. I was surprised that Hamburg was playing today just like in all the other games of this season in the second Bundesliga, they tried to control the game and to be active, while Hertha BSC was only reacting for the most part of the game. The lack of confidence that has built up over the course of the season was clearly visible today. Also i have to agree with you, that the advantage for the HSV is only narrow. I mean in the end they are in front with only 1 goal at the moment so everything is still possible in the second leg.
1425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of coin or token will be chosen and survive? on: May 19, 2022, 09:22:17 PM
There is a huge competition between cryptocurrencies, many believe just dynamic and self fulfilling ideas with different properties and a variety of incentives may survive! Others expect fiat money will leave behind reliance on quantitative competition!
I think cryptocurrencies are not able to defeat fiat currencies without changing nations culture and ethics! what do you think?

Even though i am a fan of cryptocurrencies because they stand for financial freedom and decentralization, i just can't see it happen in my lifetime that cryptos will replace FIAT completely or even for the most part. This is not that good in my opinion because traditinal FIAT money is still controlled by the countries and by the federal banks which means no freedom for the it's "users".
I do think though that cryptocurrencies are defintitely becoming more and more accepted in the world slowly but surely and i also think that a lot of that has already happened in the last few years. I hope and think that the adoption of crypto continues with that speed in the coming years.
1426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Final! on: May 19, 2022, 10:10:23 AM
What a boring game - one of the worst finals I have seen in a while. Both teams were really reactive and are technically simply not good enough to create anything meaningful from possession.
Overall Frankfurt did deserve the trophy more - after all, they are undefeated throughout the competition. Rangers now have 2 final defeats in the last 15 years - they lost the 2008 final against Zenit.

I would say that for a final that game yesterday was quite ok. Of course there were not that many big chances to score but that was to be expected as it was a final after all and there you don't have a second leg where you can make up for a mistake. That is the reason why most final games don't have to many goals. I also think that Frankfurt deserved to win the trophy yesterday as they tried more when they had the ball in my opinion. The Glasgow Rangers played more defensively and waited for their chances to start quick counterattacks, which almost worked out for them as they scored the first goal and had another huge chance to score close to the end of the overtime.
1427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Epic 99% Terra Luna Crash... An Inside Job or A Product of Pure Stupidity? on: May 19, 2022, 10:06:03 AM
If anybody has been paying attention in the last week, you probably have heard about the Epic and Massive Crash of one of the Biggest Top Digital currencies in crypto called Terra Luna. Within a matter of seemingly hours it dropped from over $100 to meer pennies. Bringing a mass amount of people a little bit closer to death and despair in the matter of minutes. Life savings, thousands of dollars invested and even millions just wiped away in a blink of an eye. Needless to say the question for most people would be "What Happened"? People are still trying to put the puzzle pieces together and they still can't come up with a reasonable answer. This epic debacle seemingly has also been blamed for almost unraveling Bitcoin and other major cryptos as well. Some people think it was an exit scam, a fraudulent project, an inside job and also just bad technical management of the project itself. Let us know in the comments below what you think of One of The Biggest Crashes In History.

I don't own any Terra (Luna) myself and therefore i did not follow the project that closely but of course i also have heard about the events around Terra as it was a major happening within the crypto scene that basically put the whole market down with it. What i read so far about the crash of Terra is that there was a massive sell pressure for the stablecoin of Terra UST, which is not a 1:1 backed by reserves stablecoin likes USDT or USDC but a stablecoin that keeps it's value via an algorithm. The sell pressure became so high though that the algorithm could not maintain the price of UST and once that became obvious the panic sells of people began which made things even worse.
So i don't think it was an inside job or a exit scam or something, it was just a badly designed stablecoin in my opinion that was not ready for such a scenario.

What about the rumours mane is leaving Liverpool. I read the rumours he wanted PSG. But just now I read the news if Liverpool will keep Mane but with the salary they pay and do not change the salary structure of other Liverpool players. This is done because their age is about to enter old, and that becomes Liverpool's main consideration. In addition, Mane also wants to stay at Liverpool, but until now there has been no official announcement from the club or Mane. But to be honest Mane deserves to stay at Liverpool because he has been pretty good this season.

Today i watched an interview with an transfer expert from Sky UK and he said that there are realistic chances that Mane is leaving Liverpool after this season. He also said that Mane is not that happy at Liverpool at the moment because he feels that he does not get the same level of appreciation as Mohammed Salah even though their numbers are pretty identical. If this is really true then i can also imagine that he wants to leave Liverpool soon, but of course no one knows if it is true or not. A week ago or so the first news appeared that Bayern is interested in signing Mane after this season, but i am not sure if this is true.
1429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everything stop on: May 18, 2022, 06:02:44 PM
Todays current situation for Luna all my works just stop and cant belive whats going on with this scenario!!  Lost too much in my life savings!! Now thinking about invest on btc at least there is no chance like 98% dump at least stable coin looking to more risky!!

I feel sorry for you bro. That being said, you probably did not follow one of the golden rules of crypto investing: Never invest more than you can afford to lose. So you should really never ever put your life savings into crypto. I know there are a lot of peopel out there that are doing that and also a part of them succeeds and becomes rich but also a lot of people have the same experience as you. They lose all the money that they have saved up their whole life withing a few days. Stuff like that can really ruin a life. This is also possible with normal stocks but cryptos are even more dangerous because they are just so extremely volatile.
1430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Final! on: May 18, 2022, 10:43:28 AM
In today's match, I bet Eintracht Frankfurt will win. I admit that I still do not fully appreciate the Glasgow Rangers team, despite the fact that in this edition of the cups they have already shown several times that they can win with the favorites.

I won't place a bet for the match today because i think that both teams have almost equal chances to win the Europa League title tonight but if i would have to pick a team i would also go for Eintracht Frankfurt. I just think that they have the slightly stronger squad. The thing is though that RB Leipzig also had the stronger squad in the semi finals against the Rangers and we all know what happened there and i think in a final the quality of a squad is even less important than in any other round because you only have one game in the final and therefore factors like luck, the shape of the day and also efficiency are way more important.
1431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to detetct any scam projects? on: May 18, 2022, 10:30:00 AM
Can anyone explain how to analyze a project so that one can escape from getting scammed?

First of all i would say that you should never ever click on any link that someone is sending to you on telegram. I have seen a lot of such posts going around lately and all of those are scams. Most of the times those scammers are waiting to the day when a big project that people are waiting for gets listed on pancakeswap or sushiswap and then they create their own scam token and a pool on the swap and they spam the telegram groups and even DM thousands of users that the project is live now and can be bought. So never ever click on links that someone sent you in a DM in telegram.
Also always check the team of a project, the roadmap and the backers.
1432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 17, 2022, 06:07:42 PM
This rumor is getting stronger and I believe Mbappe is Real Madrid's choice compared to other clubs like Man United who are said to be interested maybe Mbappe thinks because the Man United club is not yet stable so Real Madrid's choice as a mighty team and also more bonuses is getting at the club there.
I hope it will be announced in the near future if these rumors are true, but what about PSG who were so willing to let Mbappe go, were their wishes not granted?

I also think that it is almost sure that Mbappe will join Real Madrid this summer and that it has already been decided a few weeks ago at least but only not announced so far. I don't know about the reason why he has chosen Real Madrid as his new club but i could imagine it was not the money as i think that no other club offered a salary as high as Paris Saint Germain did. After all it is not really their own money because it comes from the sheikh. I guess that for a great player like him money is very important of course but he also wants to achieve something great and wants to play for a club that has a lot of prestige and a long history and Real is definitely such a club.
1433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safest browser for Metamask ? on: May 17, 2022, 06:03:57 PM
Firefox ? Chrome ? Brave ?

Kinda worried because all of them try to collect information about your activities online. I've purchased BitDefender AntiVirus, and taken some other precautions but... can never be too careful as they say.

I personally have only used Metamask as a extension in my Firefox-browser so far, which is a little bit of a annoyance to me to be honest because my main browser is Brave for at least a year now but there the standard wallet is the integrated Brave Browser wallet as far as i know, so everytime i want to do crypto stuff like connecting to sushiswap or something i have to switch browsers. I have not found the time and motivation to look up how to use Metamask as the standard browser on brave which is pretty lazy from me i know but i guess it would not take to much time to set this up.
I can confirm though that i never had problems with metamask in Firefox.
1434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 17, 2022, 12:26:55 PM
Transfer rumours:
Chelsea could join Barcelona in the race to sign Bayern Munich and Poland striker Robert Lewandowski, 33. Lewandowski at Chelsea? This story has just become even more interesting to follow?  Grin
Bayern Munich are interested in taking Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele, 25, with the France international's contract with the Spanish club expiring next month. How much is that a realistic possibility?

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/61469412

I think those two rumors are directly connected with each other. If Robert Lewandowski is really leaving Bayern Munich now then they definitely need to find a replacement for him and i don't really think that there is a 1:1 replace for him because there are hardly any world class central strikers in the world at the moment that would be available. So maybe Bayern could try to get Dembele instead, who is a attacker on the wings and then they could put Mόller as a central striker or maybe they could also get Schick from Leverkusen, but i doubt that they would sign Dembele and Schick at the same time, even if Lewandowski is leaving.
1435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will LUNA's downfall scare away investors from the crypto market? on: May 17, 2022, 12:20:06 PM
This past week has been all about LUNA's downfall in price and how UST lost its peg at a very fast pace. Many investors lost their money as the cryptocurrency went from being worth around $80 to just $0 in a few days. There's a lot of FUD surrounding crypto right now, especially with Terraform Labs' inability to restore the peg. If LUNA doesn't recover, this could lead the whole crypto market towards another direction. As promising as crypto/Blockchain tech is, things like this greatly damages its reputation.
Do you think LUNA's downfall will scare away investors from the crypto market? If not, why? Is there light at the end of the tunnel for the whole crypto/Blockchain industry? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley

I definitely think that the whole event around Terra (Luna) will scare away some or eve a lot of potential investors from the crypto market, at least for a little while now. I mean just look at what happened in the last two weeks or so. Even the people that were already invested into the crypto market were suddenly scared and began to massively sell of their holdings. Even USDT was at around 0,95$ at some point a few days ago if i remember correctly. So if people that are already in the crypto market become scared then guess what happened to people that were only thinking about to invest into cryptos in the future. Time will heal all wounds though.
1436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 17, 2022, 07:32:32 AM
I have heard stories about as much as 100+ million dollars with incentives per year. If PSG actually offers something like that, which I highly doubt, that would be insane and not even remotely close to what anyone has been ever paid for, then Mbappe will 100% pick PSG, but only if that is true.

I am sure that they are just avoiding the leagues chaos and UCL and all that, and they will just put it out there when there is no news (before UCL finals) so that everyone would talk about what a big deal it is. If that's a lie, and they didn't offer that much, and it was close, then he might leave to another team where he can win something.

I totally agree that such a extremely high salary is just absolutely ridiculous and no single player is worth that huge amount of money. I mean for 100 Million € per year they could sign 4 to 5 world class players instead and those players would definitely have an higher impact on the title chances in the Champions League for PSG then 1 players, even if he is the best in the world maybe.
I also think though that FC Barcelona paid Lionel Messi even more. If the reports are true then Messi received 555 Million € for 4 seasons which means around 139 Million € per year. That is also the main reason why Barca has now 1,3 Billion € of debts.
1437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Terra (LUNA) recover some time in the future? on: May 17, 2022, 07:27:50 AM
Terra (LUNA)'s been going downhill at a very fast pace ever since UST lost its peg a few days ago. It went from its ATH of $120 to just $0 in a few days. Right now, the cryptocurrency is struggling to reach $0.01 as investors continue to sell it like crazy. Supply is increasing at a very fast pace, as the team tries every effort possible to help restore UST's peg. Given how low Terra has fallen, I wonder if investors will gain back confidence in the project sometime in the future? Crypto is highly risky so either LUNA dies or rises from the ground up.
What do you think? Are there hopes for LUNA to recover some time in the future? If not, why? Is it a great idea to buy the dip now? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

I am not to familiar with the Terra ecosystem as i never held any Terra myself and i also never used UST as my stablecoin so i don't really follow that drama regarding Terra Luna that closely but of course i also heard what happened and what they are planning to do now in order to make sure that Luna comes back and that a dump in the price like UST took it a week ago will never happen again. I personally also read a few statements that said that the plan of Terra to go onwards from now on are very in favor of the team behind Terra and not really in favor of the small holders of Luna but i don't know if that is true or know.
What i know is though is that i will not invest into Luna now, even though many seeing it as a extremely high risk gamble at the moment with a possibility of x100 or more, but i think too many people are hoping for that and even if the project would recover the sell pressure would be way to high.
1438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - 2nd Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 16, 2022, 10:09:27 AM
To be honest, I also expect Hertha to win against HSV. Because I believe they are the better teams and with the performance, they have shown in Bundesliga I do expect them to play better compared to hamburgers.
It's been a long time for me since I have seen Schalke playing this good and I really have high hopes for them in the Bundesliga next season. I hope they will be at least able to finish in the top 10 in Bundesliga.

I pretty much watched all the relegation games sinces they were introduced back a few years ago and if i remember correctly the team of the first Bundesliga won in most cases. Which also makes sense to me. I mean you have a way higher budget in the first Bundesliga than in the second and therefore the overall quality of the players should be higher in the team of the first Bundesliga. This is even more true in this case as Hertha has an investor now for a few years which has already pumped more than 370 Million € into the club. Even though Hertha has played an horrendous season given the fact that they have invested so much money, they still should be able to get it together at least for those 2 matches.
1439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the capitalization of the crypto market in 2025? on: May 16, 2022, 10:05:08 AM
In your opinion, can the capitalization of the entire cryptocurrency market exceed 10 trillion or more in 2025?

To be honest i have no idea as i think that the whole crypto market is extremely hard to predict and i also think that the market can still be manipulated by big whales. At the moment the total market cap according to coinmarketcap.com is 1,27 trillion USD. So i personally think that maybe around 5 trillion at the end of 2025 are possible if the surrounding conditions are positive and in favor of the crypto market. I also think though that it is possible that we stay at the same level as we are now for a few more years. If the federal banks keep on increasing the interests rate again then maybe a lot of  capital will flow back from cryptos to traditional bank products.
1440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 15, 2022, 10:37:10 PM
I believe that the Erling Haaland transfer is going to be amazing for Manchester City. As they reached an agreement with him already, they would get prepared for sending Gabriel Jesus from the team at the same time. Actually they would have thought of keeping him as a substitute too. But I assume he wouldn't like to just rot there as it wouldn't be easy to compete with a striker like Haaland. We will see if this Haaland transfer will bring the CL title also.

I think that in the end there were not that much big clubs interested in Haaland that were really able to meet the huge financial demands that Haaland and his team had. There were some rumors that FC Barcelona wanted to sign Haaland too but the whole packaged would have costed them more than 300 Million € and Barca already has more than 1,3 Billion € of debts so if they would have really tried to sign Haaland that would have been absolutely crazy. I also read that FC Bayern was seriously consiering to sign Haaland to as a replacement for Lewandowski who is already 33 years old but they just did not want to fulfill all his wishes.
I also don't think that the signing of Haaland means that ManCitiy will now definitely win the CL title. He is only one player after all and he still has to prove that he is one the best. He also had so many injuries this year.
