1501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trustable currency on: April 30, 2022, 07:48:52 PM
Guys, Can you really name the coins/tokens that you trust the most?

In general i think that the bigger the project, the smaller the risk. So according to that principle, Bitcoin would be the most trustable currency. That being said i don't know if we can really trust bitcoin because in the end it is not controlled by anyone. There is no person or company that could stop bitcoin by itself. Yes there are some big whales that are owning a lot of Bitcoins and there are also big mining companies that are providing a lot of hashing power but on their own none of this big holders or miners is capable of changing something within the bitcoin protocol. They can make the price dump if they are selling their coins off, but that is pretty much it.
1502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 30, 2022, 02:03:49 PM

The problem that Barcelona is in right now did not just happen suddenly and also it was not the result of only one ‘transfer gone wrong’ situation. Barcelona did not manage their money well at all and they have made some questionable transfers along the line. This problem was caused gradually over time. If we are talking about managing layers and managing money I think we also need to talk about the money that was given to Messi as a wage.

I totally agree here. If the reports are true and the sources of that reports seem to be pretty trustful, then FC Barcelona paid Lionel Messi 555 Million € for only 4 years. That are 138,75 Million € per year which is just absolutely crazy and no single player should earn that much money. Then the covid pandemic came and FC Barcelona's extremely unstable financial construct immediately collapsed. Now they have more than 1,3 Billion € of debts but they still signed Ferran Torres for 55 M€ from ManCity and there even were reports that they wanted to sign Haaland and now there are rumours that they are trying everything to sign Lewandowski.
I really think that they should stop making such transfers until most of their debts are paid back. That is what a responsible company and club would do.
1503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STEPN (GMT) on: April 30, 2022, 01:56:26 PM
Whats your opinion on that one? It is now available on Kraken

I think that this whole topic of the fitness tokens on the blockchain is the new current micro-trend or micro-hype withing the crypto space. I call it micro hype because i don't think it is that big or that important as Defi and NFT's for example, but the patterns are still the same here in my opinion. First there is a project that comes out with something new like in this case STEPN. The early investors and the team members STEPN already made a huge profit with it. This makes a lot of people try to hop on the hype train of fitness tokens and create their own with as little effort as possible to make some quick and easy money. Personally i would not invest into STEPN now, becaue i simply don't buy tokens where others already made a x30 with it in the last few weeks.
1504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - 2nd Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 29, 2022, 07:10:46 PM
no one would have thought that werder bremen after a quick 2-0 lead still loses the game at home against holstein kiel with 2-3... Tongue
tomorrow darmstadt 98 can pass with a win at home against aue to werder on the third place

I don't watch the second Bunesliga that regurlarly but today i tuned in to the conference because the race for the places that qualify for the first Bundesliga is so close this year and i was certainly not disappointed. Werder Bremen already looked like the clear and uncontested winner today and then everything went wrong for them and they still lost in the end. The total opposite of emotions were to be seen in the match of Sandhausen vs. Schalke. After Sandhause have scored a very late equalizer Schalke still managed to win the game with a goal way into the overtime.
Bremen also still has it in their own hands though, they just need to win the last 2 games and they will go back to the first Bundesliga.
1505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The beginning of Fitness projects hype on: April 29, 2022, 07:06:02 PM
Since the success of GMT token (Step'N) few new fitness projects are showing up, today I come across another named FITFI aka Step app, is this the next feeding field for developers? Crypto keeps looking more like a race to make fast money from a hype before it's gone, no wonder we have so many unserious developers today.

I totally agree with you here. The whole crypto market is sadly still almost entirely based about hype and the current trend. Once Axie Infinity became such a huge success and made the early investors and the early players make a lot of money we suddenly had hundreds of play2earn games coming up. The big majority of those projects just wanted to ride the hype wave of play2earn and make some quick and dirty money with it with as little effort as possible. Most of the tokens are dead already again or will be dead within a few months. The same will be true for those fitness tokens. Only a handful will survive in the end.
1506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Semifinals! on: April 29, 2022, 08:55:17 AM
Yes indeed, a narrow 4-3 victory still cannot guarantee Manchester City to qualify but even so, I personally still believe that Pep Guardiola is able to form his team to continue to qualify. Regarding the strategy that will be applied later, whether it's defending or continuing to play attacking, I think Manchester City will be able to maintain this advantage. Nothing is certain yet, because this season there have been quite a few surprises, both in the UCL and in other European tournaments as well.

For me ManCity is still the big favorite in the matchup against Real Madrid, even though they won the first leg "only" with 4-3 i mean in the end a win is a win and is still a big tactical advantage for them in the first leg. I also think that the result of the first leg was very lucky for Real Madrid because they basically managed to almost make a goal out of any chance that they had while ManCity could have scored at least 2 or 3 goals more because they had that many good chances. As a neutral viewer the result of the first leg is great though as everything is still possible in the second leg and we can hope for a very open and exciting match again.
1507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ApeCoin on a massive run on: April 29, 2022, 08:52:26 AM
Is it too risky to buy it now?
When do you expect the drop?
unfortunately i missed the opportunity to buy and now its frustrating me every day

ApeCoin is really showing a strong performance in the last few days even though the market overall is going down a little. I also don't any ApeCoin myself but i personally would also not buy any at the moment as i usually avoid tokens where other people already made a fortune with. Also usually when a pump happens like it did now with ApeCoin there will also sooner or later come a phase of correction or even a dump again. So if you really want to own some ApeCoin yourself i would probably wait until it is back under 20$ at least, but of course it is also always possible that the recent price increase was just the start of a much bigger pump. No one knows.
1508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Semifinals! on: April 28, 2022, 09:07:55 PM
My tip for today West Ham 1:2 Frankfurt. The game is on a good level, and i believe in the power of Frankfurt. But there is still something more missing, like in Barcelona. After the 1:1, not much happened in the first 45 minutes. That will change a little bit. And I believe in a German final this year.

Well after the first legs of the semi-finals it seems like your prediction has a pretty good chance of becoming true. Eintracht Frankfurt did it again and they managed to win against Westham in England with 1-2. The stastitics for this game are pretty even and even though Frankfurt had more shots on the goal they were also lucky two times when Westham only hit the post. Especially the bicycle kick shortly before the end of the match would have definitely deserved a goal. RB Leipzig had a pretty tough game against Glasgow rangers becaues even though they dominated the game they could not really create that much good chances to score and it took them 85 minutes to finally score a goal.
1509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins or CBDCs? on: April 28, 2022, 08:57:50 PM
What do you think the future of stablecoins will look like after CBDCs are launched? Will they die in the end or will they co-exist with CBDCs? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley

I am not really sure what i should think about CBDC's. I mean if there will be a official digital USD or a digital Euro in the future then i would think that those are really safe and really always pegged 1:1 to their corresponding currency. The thing with the crypto stablecoins so far is that some of them are not really stable so far, like USDNeutrino which was at like 0,70 USD a few weeks ago and even though it is now again at 0,976 USD it is still more than 2% off it's peg, which is just to much in my opinion. In addition to that we can not really know if every stable coin that is minted is really backed by a real currency, for example we don't really know if the company behind USDT can back bevery Tether that they are minting.
1510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: April 28, 2022, 10:36:21 AM

For me West ham United will win this competition, even if they were playing against Barcelona in the semi final they would have won, the take this competition very seriously, at there game against Chelsea last weekend Sunday they rest alot of players just because of this game, they see it as a pathway to the champions League next season and they are determined and also have the players to see it through, I watch there game against Lyon and I was impressed, I know liepzieg are a strong team in Germany but I still rate west ham to beat the two German team.

For me the matchup of Westham vs Frankfurt is completely open. I have seen the matches of Westham vs. Lyon and Frankfurt vs. Barca and i have to say that for me the performance of Frankfurt was way more impressive than the one of Westham as Lyon was the better team in the beginning and Westham scored their first goal completely out of nowhere.
The strongest squad of all the teams that are still in the competition though has RB Leipzig for me though. They have a very talented and young group of players and for me they are the big favorite against the Glasgow Rangers. They still need to be careful though as Glasgow already managed to win against Borussia Dortmund
1511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of coin or token will be chosen and survive? on: April 28, 2022, 10:22:08 AM
There is a huge competition between cryptocurrencies, many believe just dynamic and self fulfilling ideas with different properties and a variety of incentives may survive! Others expect fiat money will leave behind reliance on quantitative competition!
I think cryptocurrencies are not able to defeat fiat currencies without changing nations culture and ethics! what do you think?

I also don't think that we will have a world without FIAT currencies anymore where everything is done with cryptocurrencies within the next 100 years or so, i just can not see that happen. I think those two types of currencies will still coexist for a very long time and i also don't think that this is a bad thing. To have some cash in your wallet in the form of coins or banknotes also feels pretty good because you have something physical to touch and the value is not just digital.
Regarding what kind of crypto token or coin will survive i think it is obvious that only the ones with a real use case and functionality will survive and will still be there in a few years. So i would stay away from meme-coins.
1512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: April 27, 2022, 08:55:50 PM
Villarreal's plan was to draw the match goalless with full defensive tactics. But Villarreal's defense could not stand in front of Liverpool's experienced players. Although Villarreal's players put up a good fight against Liverpool in the first half, Mane's goal in the 55th minute gave Liverpool the lead. However, as Liverpool lead 2-0. It is easy to assume that Liverpool is going to win this match. Even after conceding two goals, Villarreal is still playing defensive tactics.

After yesterdays great and exciting match between ManCity and Real Madrid we saw a very one sided and pretty boring match today to be honest, but i also think that this had to be expected. Villareal did a great job defending all of Liverpool attacks and in the end it needed an extremely lucky goal for Liverpool to score the 1-0 lead. Henderson wasn't even shooting at the goal but his cross was so massively deflected that it went directly into the goal. That was extremely unlucky for Villareal and it definitely broke their back to day, especially when Mane scored the second goal for Liverpool only a few minutes after that. Now it is 95% certain for me that Liverpool will be in the final this year.
1513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about privacy coin? on: April 27, 2022, 08:47:48 PM
Are privacy coins no more important in today's world? Monero performs fairly good after bull market is almost over but that's that, no one is talking about the usefulness of privacy coins like XMR, Sero, haven protocol, horizen etc is this the end or privacy coins still have a future.

For me the whole crypto space is going in hype cycles most of the time. There are always current trends and hypes that are dominating the crypto market and the media for a certain amount of time until the hype slows down back to a normal level. At the moment everything is still talking about Defi and it's many applications and use cases and also NFT's. Defi is a special topic though as i don't think that it is just a current hype that will go away again, i am sure that Defi will be a very important part of the crypto space for the future. Privacy coins are just not really in the focus of the most people at the moment. Maybe this will change again in the future.
1514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: April 27, 2022, 08:43:42 AM
We witnessed an amazing match yesterday. I was expecting a calm defensive, calculated game by both experienced teams, but we saw a real shooting on the pitch. Benzema once again showed amazing class. I admit that I am already looking forward to the rematch in Madrid. After this crazy match, it's hard for me to name a favorite to qualify for the final.

The match yesterday really was a banger and the best thing about it was that i really did not expect the match to be that open and to have that many great scenes in the offense, but somehow both teams decided that the defense is not that important. I think this match will definitely go down as one of the best semi-finals of the Champions League ever. The best thing for me as a neutral fan is that the outcome of this matchup is still completely open and that both teams still have a realistic chance to advance into the final. Still i expect the second leg to not be that offensive and exciting then the first leg, but we will see.
1515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Dogecoin become the new BTC? on: April 27, 2022, 08:39:54 AM
Is it possible that dogecoin can beat BTC after Elon musk takes over Twitter? Imagine if Dogecoin is well accepted throughout the world then BTC wouldn't this makes Dogecoin the new coin? This might sound too crazy to dream about but that Elon musk guy can make anything possible.

I don't really think that this can happen. I mean in the end Dogecoin is just a meme-coin. The recent news of Elon Musk taking over twitter have caused another nice price pump for Dogecoin which went up like 30% two days ago but if you are looking at the prices today then Dogecoin is amongst the coins that has the highest losses today so far. I can imagine that Dogecoin will still experience some price pumps here and there, especially if Elon Musk continues to increase his influence on social media or anywhere else and if he mentions Dogecoin somewhere again then i am also sure we see another price jump but i don't think that it will be as big as when he first mentioned Dogecoin, because back then it was a surprise, now it's nothing new.
1516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: April 26, 2022, 08:59:34 PM
This is the kind of stuff you want to see if you're a neutral fan hehe. I thought the game is done after Silva made it 4-2. It's a good recovery from Real Madrid after conceding two quick goals in the first half. I don't expect another goal in extra time but this result sets up another entertaining match in the second leg.
Congrats to those who bet on both teams scoring and on total goals.

I totally agree. It happens pretty often that such important games with two very big teams involved are not really that exciting in the end, but today's game was totally different. For me it was definitely one of the best big international games that i have seen in the last few years and because i was a completely neutral football fan today i could enjoy every minute of it. I have to admit though that i was not very happy when ManCity was up 2-0 already after 10 minutes because i was hoping for a very open and exciting match and back then it did look like a clear win for ManCity. Real Madrid is really strong mentally though and they managed to come back three times today and therefore everything is still possible in the second leg.
1517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get rid of useless tokens on: April 26, 2022, 08:00:41 PM
Is there any way to stop unwanted tokens deposits in my wallet? I have used two different types of crypto wallets and I keep getting tokens I know nothing about, I read that those tokens are scammers trap and moreover I never worked for it.

I don't really think that you can do anything that you don't receive such tokens at all. In the end all data is on the blockchain including the public address of your wallet if you hare holding any token or have interacted with a contract or whatever. I would guess that the creators of such useless tokens are just exporting lists of wallet addresses that are holding certain tokens and then they bulk send their token to all those addresses. This is not happening that often anymore on the ETH chain because the fees are so high, which is probably the only positive effect of the high eth fees, but on the BSC chain i have also dozens of such tokens in my wallet. The best thing is to never interact with them at all.
1518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making e-sports more affordable on: April 26, 2022, 10:43:54 AM
We all understand the value of e-sports in today's era and it is indeed a great deal is a company is all set to develop more free e-sports games
According to the reports Incentive Games have already signed up to do the following, they have already developed 21 e-sports games and of which 14 are totally free to play as well, therefore getting in cannot be more affordable. They would be focused on games such us :
Quote
The first game developed for Esports Technologies will centre around the Counter Strike: Global Offensive marketplace, with further plans to develop Dota 2, League of Legends and Valorant-inspired games

What do you think ? Are you going to play on these platforms? I do believe most of the users might already be using them and seeing this incentive get bigger would certainly bring joy with increasing the free game diversity on the sites.

I don't know if we really need another copy of Counter Strike or Dota 2. Recently i tuned into a Stream of Valorant because the viewer numbers for that game were so high because of a big tournament and this was the first time i watched valorant gameplay and i have to say i was really surprised and almost shocked how similar this game is to counter strike. I mean it is literally a copy of CSGO with some other elements that were "stolen" from Overwatch. It is surprising to me that this game is so popular and that so many people seem to be supporting such a blatant copy.
So i really don't think we need another CSGO clone and Dota 2 is already completely free2play and has the biggest price money in the industry.
1519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What did cause a massive pump for dogecoin? on: April 26, 2022, 10:33:05 AM
We all can see that  today Doge  Is up  more than any other top in he top 100.
What cause this massive pump. Did you have some nice gains?
Anyway for me I think to join Doge is only 0.16$ (all time high was 0.73$) And it's backup by Elon Musk.

As other in this thread already said, it probably has to do with the pretty big news that Elon Musk wants to acquire the majority of the Twitter shares which basically makes him the owner of twitter. Even though this news has not really have anything to do with crypto it still pumped up the Dogecoin price quite a bit as Elon Musk is known for his tweets about Dogecoin and i guess this was enough to pump the price. I personally would not invest into Dogecoin now as the pump of this news has already happened now and i don't think that there will be more upcoming news that would make the price go up even more.
1520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: April 26, 2022, 05:34:12 AM
Duel of the Giants: Manchester City against Real Madrid. The first semi-final of the Champions League starts tomorrow. Who will go to the final? City? Just like last year... nur they couldn't win the game. I think in that game is the News winner of the CL. One of the two will be, they are just too strong. I think both of them will also win the national championship this year.

The match today is definitely a blockbuster and in terms of the teams that are involved it is also the way more interesting match up in the semi final of the Champions League. At least in theory, because we all know that sometimes it all goes down completely different than expected in football. This match could also easily be a great final with two great teams and i think it will be a very close game where the daily form and also luck will decide who will go to the final in the end. For me ManCity is the favorite still because they are just the strongest team in the world for me at the moment. Real has already proven this season they that they can beat any team though.
