1661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT Sending Fees on: March 22, 2022, 11:38:55 AM
If I get USDT and want to send it, what are the current fees to send it to someone else?  I know there is no fee for me to receive USDT.  Most likely if I'm receiving ETH from a site, it will be in the ETH network?

Example I receive USDT from a website.  Now I want to send USDT to someone.  If the USDT is ETH, how much fees do I have to pay?  What if the USDT I am receiving is Tron or another type of network?  I heard there is the BNB network as well.

Does it make sense to send USDT in small amounts as the sending fee could be more than the USDT amount?  Imagine sending one dollar USDT to someone.

First of all if you are the receiver you never have to pay any fee as the fee is always paid by the sender of the transaction no matter on what network you are sending/receiving the transaction. To your other question, the fees that you have to pay in order to send some USDT to someone depends heavily on the network that you want to send the USDT on. If you are choosing the Ethereum network then at the moment you would have to pay around 7 USD worht of Ethereum for a USDT transaction, which is quite a lot so it would not make sense to send 15 USDT to someone on the Ethereum network at the moment in my opinion. If you send the USDT on the BSC for example the fees are around 0,10 USD worth of BNB.
1662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 22, 2022, 09:30:01 AM

A team like Real Madrid won't face any financial problems if they want to sign Haaland, moreover, since they were coached by Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid didn't spend a lot of money. Real Madrid does have the potential to get Mbappe and it's on a free transfer, so Real Madrid still has enough funds to sign Haaland at the same time. The only thing that could be a problem is the ego of the two players because it could be that both of them don't want to play in the same team for some reason.

I don't understand how people really can think that Real Madrid is in the financial situation that they can sign Mbappe, who will cost no transfer fee i know that but he will surely demand a salary of 25M€+ per season and at the same time buy Haaland from Borussia Dortmund for 75M€ transfer fee, plus  his ridiculous demands of 40 to 50 M€ of additional signing fees that will directly go to Haalands father and to his other agent Mino Raiola which is just outrages to make such demands.
So you all say Read Madrid won't have any financial problems even if they have to pay all these fees and salaries? Real Madrid already has more than 900 M€ of debts, so they already have financial problems in my opinion. I don't get it how people keep claiming that Real is a club that is financially healthy.
1663  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know which bounty campaign to join ?? on: March 22, 2022, 09:13:13 AM
Hello everyone, since many days I am looking to join any good bounty campaign. Specially the signature campaign but there are so many of those, I am not able to decide which one should I join.
Can you please tell what are the things should I check before joining a bounty. As I do not want to waste my time and effort in a scam project.

I don't think that there is a way to ensure 100% that the bounty that you are joining is from a project that is legit, but there definitely some indicators that you should be looking at to at least increase your chances of being part of a good bounty that is paying the rewards and that maybe those rewards are even worth something in the end. First of all check the obvious things; look at the website of that project, read the whitepaper, check the roadmap, look at the team and what they are trying to achieve, also look in their telegram to see if it is active or not. Persoally i would never take part in the bounty of a meme-coin because there you can be 99% sure that the project is dead within a few weeks.
Also don't get fooled by claims like "Token worths 500.000 USD paid out by the bounty" because if a new projects is giving out that high amount of tokens then there is never enough sell pressure to recover from the sell off once the bounty is over.

Leverkusen seems to be in trouble by the host Wolfsburg, they almost drew, because until the 80th minute the score was still as strong as 0-0. But something that Leverkusen had been waiting for finally came in the 86th minute, yes they scored in that minute through Paulinho and in injury time Paulinho again listed himself as a goalscorer. Leverkusen was finally able to get maximum points even though it took them 86 minutes before they could shake the opponent's goal.

I have not watched that game myself live but looking at the statistics it seems like Bayern Leverkusen was pretty lucky in this match, as Wolfsburg seemed to be the better team yesterday. They controlled the ball more often and they are also leading in the expected goals category with 2.08 in comparison to the 1,41 of Leverkusen. All of the other statistics are looking pretty even to me. In the end though it is Wolfsburg's own fault that they did not manage to score at least 1 goal out of the chances that they had created, Leverkusen was just more efficient yesterday and in the end they also deserve to have a lucky win once as they already had some unlucky defeats in this season. For example their match against Dortmund in the first half of the season.
1665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins are not stablecoins by definition. on: March 21, 2022, 11:34:10 AM
All stablecoins are a big fat lie.
By defintion, a stablecoin is a cryptocurrency that is pegged 1:1 with the US Dollar.
If you check any stablecoin's price chart, it is in fact, extremely volatile.
If they truly were pegged 1:1 with the US Dollar, the price chart would be a flat line all across the board.

I mean of course you are technically right that even though those coins are called stable coins they are not really 100% stable all the time. Especially during times of extremely volatile markets we have seen stable coins moving up or down like 1% for a short amount of time which can make a quite a different if you are owning a lot of stable coins. That being said i don't think that they can be called a big fat lie because after all i think the current implementation of stable coins is as close as it can get to really stable equivalents of a certain FIAT, in most cases the USD. In order to have a 100% stable coin i think we would need countries to release their native currency on the blockchain.
1666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 20, 2022, 09:46:44 PM
Match ends in a draw with score of 1 - 1 and with this result now most chances we have all end for Dortmund in title race because six points gape and just 7 matches remaining in this season is not easy for them to challenge Bayern Munich which is already back in best.

Currently, five teams in hunt for Champions League remaining two spots and with this draw most chances Cologne is still in this race for spot because all teams are equal in quality and performance can do some more good for remaining part now after break we have two very interesting matches at top, first Dortmund is going to face Leipzig and then Freiburg is going to host Bayern Munich these both matches having some good impact on league table because now any win or lost can do something big for any team.

It's a pretty weird season so far in the Bundesliga in my opinion, because for me Bayern Munich has shown one of the weakest overall performance in the last 10 years or so until now and still none of the other team seems to be able to take advantage of that. Borussia Dortmund is also playing a very weak season in my opinion and they have more points achieved then they deserve if you ask me and their results on the international level were also extremely disappointing. RB Leipzig had a very weak first part of the season so they are already to far away to really threaten Bayern Munich. It really looks like Bayern Munich will be the Bundesliga champion again.
1667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the purpose of all these altcoins? on: March 20, 2022, 09:40:40 PM
And I am especially talking about those memecoins like dogecoin, shiba inu and those other coins that pump and dump in those shiba doge and those make up coin names?  There is zero purpose of these coins.  They had that squid game token I believe.  What is the purpose of these coins?  It literally sounds like someone creating a video game and making up coins.  The worst part is you have people buying these coins to most likely try to make a profit and then sell since rarely are these coins meant for holding.

Well i have to say that i totally agree with you here and i also think that all those meme-coins are completely useless as they have no functionality and they are providing not service or other stuff for it's investors and users. The reason why they exist even though they don't have a purpose is quite simple. Dogecoin was invented as a likeable, kinda ironic community project and is around for many years now, everything is fine with that. Then the tweets of Elon Musk about came out where he said he likes Dogecoin and the whole meme-coin craze started. Then we saw literally 1000's of new meme-coins appearing each and everyday. Not because people wanted it, but because the people that were creating those coins wanted to make money with as little effort as possible. Thank god the meme-coin hype is dying at the moment and in a year or two only a few of them will still be alive.

^  This could be bad omen for Verstappen...  And he just signed a new contract tying him with with the team until 2028 too.  He should've kept his option open by after the third year as we really don't know what's going to happen.

Congrats to Ferrari.  Good race for Leclerc and Sainz.  Hoping to see more from them for the rest of the season.

Verstappen would have easily ended the race in the second position, which is not to bad in my opinion so i don't think that this one race is letting him already regret his decision to stay at Red Bull for 6 more years. It is still true though that his was a very unlucky start for Verstappen and Red Bull. I don't know why but i still consider Mercedes as the big favorite of Red Bull in this season overall so it would have been a great start for Verstappen to finish 3rd while Hamilton is only 5th, but now Verstappen has made 0 points and Hamilton finished the race on the podium which is the absolute maximum that was possible with the performance of the mercedes this weekend.
1669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: wrx token going continue down, why? on: March 20, 2022, 04:06:46 PM
Wazirx is India's largest cryptoexchange. But for some time now, the value of its coin has been plummeting. Its all time high was about four to five dollars. Even though it has been going down for almost six to eight months now, do you know the reason?

I don't really know to much about that exchange to be honest as i have not used it before and i also have to admit, that i even did not hear about it before, but that does not mean much. I would not worry to much about the price of it's token at the moment as we are still in a very shaky market right now and even though Bitcoin and the big Altcoins increased in value in the last few days they are still miles away from their ATH's of may 2021. We need a longer phase of a stable market that goes sideways and once we have achieved that i think that also smaller cap coins can slowly but surely begin to rise again. The important thing at the moment is, that the exchange keeps up working as intended and is satisfying their customers.
1670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 19, 2022, 09:16:06 PM
Bayern Munich really had one of their most comfortable games today. And they must be very contented with this result as they needed it a lot after drawing with their opponents two weeks in a row. Bayern Munich play like this normally and the only thing they need to do is to keep this level as much as possible to reach the Bundesliga title. But to tell the truth, I would like to see their huge title streak ending by this year. And to make this possible, Dortmund will have to play with all they have from now on.

I watched the whole match of Bayern Munich vs Union Berlin today and even though Bayern completely dominated the game and the 4-0 was also well deserved, even if probably 1 goal to high, i still think that Bayern Munich is still not at their top level in terms of performance at the moment. Especially in the defense Bayern is still very unstable. In the beginning Bayern was clearly the better team and the 1-0 for them was totally deserved at that point, but after that Union Berlin had 2 big chances to score the equalizer. One time Neuer had to make a great save and the other attempt just barely missed the goal. Bayern needs to become more stable in the defense otherwise it could be getting really close in the race for the Bundesliga championship.
1671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not profitable anymore, Altcoins like Avalanche / Algorand etc. are on: March 19, 2022, 09:11:04 PM
From an innovation perspective, Bitcoin is not a profitable choice anymore if we are doing an analysis.
Arguments:
...
Conclusion: new tech (Avalanche, Algorand) is king and will replace old tech (Bitcoin) because better tech always wins.

I agree with some of your points but at the same time i think that other points of you are wrong. It is definitely true, if you ask me, that Bitcoin is not really on the same level than a lot of other projects out there in terms of technical possibilities, usability, scalability and overall functionality. The most prominant example for a technically superior project is Ethereum i would say. There you can create your own token on the Ethereum network and the smart contract functionality enabled that whole Defi trend that was the reason for the big bullrun back in 2020 and 2021. Other projects that you have listed are having the same functionality as Ethereum now.
It is also true though, that Bitcoin is THE cryptocurrency out there and will probably always be the number 1 crypto project because for most people that are not really into crypto it is still true that crypto = bitcoin.
1672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: March 19, 2022, 05:35:46 PM

Indeed, Ferrari is proving that it invested heavily in improvements to its car, it wasn't just rumors and anxiety.
It's great to have a "red leader" in F1 again, now let's see if Leclerc can handle the pressure and maintain that position until the end of tomorrow's race.

On the other hand, I expected a better result from mercedes, at least third position for us to see a good fight

That was the first time that i was really looking forward to the beginning of the new Formula 1 season since probably at least 10 years or so after the exciting fight for the championship last year. I think that this season can be even more exciting and even more close than the last one was as we have seen some surprising performances already today. Ferrari looked really strong even in the first training back in Madrid but back then everyone was still expecting that the top teams Red Bull and Mercedes were just bluffing and that they could easily keep up with Ferrari if they would have wanted to. Seems like that wasn't really the case. Red Bull is pretty close to Ferrari but Mercedes is already a few tenths of a second behind.
1673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Its Possible ALT Coin Chased Previous ATH in 2022 on: March 19, 2022, 05:31:36 PM
Gys Is Its Possible ALT coins Hit Previous ATH in the 2022

I think that we will probably not see new ATH's for Altcoins in 2022, even though i would hope that is is that way, because my portfolio mainly consists of small cap altcoins that are down more than 90% at the moment in comparison to their ATH back in may of 2021. I think that we need a few months of a stable sideways or even a little positive market for BTC before we will see the Altcoins rise again too. If Altcoins beging to rise, then usually the bigger projects like Ethereum are the ones that are beginning to rise first and then we have to wait another few weeks until the smaller cap altcoins also will begin to rise. At least that is how it was in the previous bull markets.
1674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 18, 2022, 06:08:05 PM
Bayern Munich again drew the easiest draw. Villarreal have been good so far, but it's next to impossible for them to beat Bayern. Liverpool also seems to be one step ahead of Benfica. It's a tough draw for Manchester City but I don't think they will make a mistake. With PSG absent this season, they are the biggest favorites with Bayern for the championship. It's very difficult to choose between Chelsea and Real Madrid. They drew the hardest one. I'm sure we will watch very exciting matches.

Bayern was really lucky with the draw today and i also think that they really needed that luck because Bayern is in a pretty bad shape at the moment. They only managed to achieve two draws in a row in the Bundesliga and at the moment it looks like it could become a really close race for the Bundesliga title this year even though Borussia Dortmund is also not playing that well. I still think though that if everything goes in a normal way then Bayern should still be stronger than Villareal and therefore able to advance into the next round and then we have another few weeks until the semi-finals happen and maybe then Bayern is in a better shape than now.
1675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Solana have a future? on: March 18, 2022, 06:03:38 PM
2021 proved to be the biggest year for Solana as the cryptocurrency reached new All-time-highs in price. Mainstream adoption was flowing like never before, with new projects joining in the craze. What made Solana extremely successful at the time was its highly-performing blockchain network (blazing-fast speeds and ultra-low fees unlike any other blockchain in existence). But the recent number of network outages caused prices to sink to the point where Solana is far from its latest All-time-high. It's no wonder since security/reliability is the key towards any project's success.

That said, there might still be hope for Solana if developers continue to improve the network to help prevent further outages from occurring again. Helping build new technologies take time to make them as rock-solid as possible. If all goes well, we might see a better version of Solana 10 years from now.

What do you think about this project? Will it have a future? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

I think that Solana definitely has a future i mean in the end it is at rank 8 in terms of marketcap for all crypto projects, so if people say Solana has no future than i would say that basically no crypto project has a future. I am not that deep into Solana but i also have read about some of the stuff that happen with the network but so far i would say the impact of those news on the price of Solana have been neglectable. That being said i don't any Solana myself and i am also not planning to invest into Solana in the future because i simply don't want to invest into projects where early investors already made a x100 or more with.
1676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 18, 2022, 11:52:02 AM
In the past ten years, Both Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo has dominated the Champions League, they have both left their comfort zone and are not performing at a higher level like they use to do.
I think it's high time we stop rating them too highly, yes they have dominated but it's time for other young players to sprout out.
Kylian Mbappe and Erling Halland are next in line, but how far can they go ?
I'll be waiting patiently for the champions league draws.

Even all time great players like Ronaldo and Messi are not immune to old age and it's effect on their body. I watched the match of Manchester United vs. Atletico Madrid this week and i thought a few times that a 30 year old or younger Cristiano Ronaldo would have just dribbled past that defender now but the 37 year old Ronaldo of today just is not fast enough for that kind of plays anymore. Don't get me wrong, he is as fit as a 37 year old person can be in my opinion and his strenghts values and muscle mass is probably as high as it was when he was young or even higher, but other important factors like explosiveness slowly but surely will get worse when you get older.
1677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt market today on: March 18, 2022, 11:46:46 AM
BTC is back at 40k and some alts like BnB and ETH are slowly rising again is this another bear trap or bull trap? What are we looking at here? To me it looks like the market keeps going down.

It's very hard to tell or even impossible to tell where the overall direction of the market will be in the next few weeks and months, at least for me. I personally would hope that Bitcoin could stay above let's say 38k $ for a few weeks or so. I think that we need this phases of sideways markets in order to have enough substance for another bull market. I think the market in 2022 is still following the old patterns that it does since 10 years or so. Bitcoin is still the lead indicator for the whole crypto market. If Bitcoin drops all other coins will also drop and most of the times even more than Bitcoin itself. If Bitcoin rises though the altcoins don't rise instantly too. So we need a phase of a positive price development for BTC first before we see a growing altcoin market again.
1678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: March 17, 2022, 10:38:18 PM
Eintracht Frankfurt 0 - 0 Betis

Betis will not be able to move to another phase

Well the game just ended after the overtime and in the end it was a 1-1 which is the same as a 0-0 now because the away goal rule is not existent anymore, so Frankfurt managed to advance into the next round. Even though the result of 1-1 may not really sound like the match was interesting i have to say, that this match was very exciting to watch. First Frankfurt was the better and dominating team even though that they were already leading 2-1 because of the first leg. Towards the end of the regular time Betis became stronger which happens all the time because they needed 1 goal to get into the overtime and they really managed to score in the 90th minute. Then Betis was stronger for the biggest part of the overtime in my opinion but the last 10 minutes or so were controlled by Frankfurt again. In the end Frankfurt was also a little lucky because their goal in the 120th minute was a own goal of Betis.

1679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: That is why play to earn concept is a massive failure on: March 17, 2022, 09:41:11 PM
All of the games are built on the same foundation, with the exception of skin colour and weapon design. High game entry fees and a high learning curve for new users are discouraging new users from joining the system. Because of the unique teams they have, only early adopters are making a lot of money. The number of unique users registering each day is decreasing, indicating that the hype is fading.

I actually have to agree with a lot of points that you are bringing up OP. In the end all of the play2earn games that are existing at the moment are not played because they just a fun game to play so people are enjoying to play it. The fact that you can make money while playing a game should always be just a positive side effect and not the main selling point of the game and sadly this is still the case with all of the existing play2earn games that i know of that are existing out there already, they are just not fun. Then of course we have the same effects as with every other hype in the crypto space, which means we have hundreds of play2earn games now because they hopped on the hype train of Axies Infinity and only a few of them will survive.

Watching Barcelona play in the europa league is something I have never imagined that they would feature , but since they are in it they need to up their game and show us the fire power they have before the get embarrased by these so called smaller teams....

So far Galatasaray 1-2 Barcelona
Having hard moments vs Galatasaray is embarrassing for Barcelona fans tho. They were 1 goal behind before returning to the game and scoring 2..
In the other games, Braga and Rangers obviously passed to the next stage. Leverkusen wasn't able to score and Atalanta scored and passed too. Harder games coming soon Wink

The reason why Barcelona has to play in the Europa League this year is pretty simple, they just were not strong enough to advance into the play-off stage of the Champions League. The reason why they are not so strong anymore is also quite simple, they threw hundreds and hundreds of millions basically out of the window just to make messi stay at Barca. Reports say that messi earned 555 Million Euros from 2017 to 2021 at Barca which are 111 Million € per season which is absolutely insane. Then covid came and the income from the tickets sale were missing and everything fell apart. Now they have 1,3 Billion € of debts, so Barca fans should get used to seeing their club playing in the Europa League in the next few years.
