1601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you preparing for bear market on: April 05, 2022, 11:54:26 AM
Crypto can't survive without a bear market, if not everything will remain at one spot and no reason to invest anymore what is the best strategy to prepare for a bear market and at the same time keep making a profit from the present market condition.

First of all i think it is pretty obvious that you can achieve the highest potential profit, as the price of the tokens during a bear market is obviously lower than during a bear market. The big problem is that during a bear market there is a lot of uncertainty and doubt present and only people that are really convinced cryptos in general and also about specific projects will have enough confidence to invest during a bear market. Those people will be the ones though that are very happy once the bull comes back.
1602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: April 05, 2022, 08:05:42 AM
Only one day left for the first two games in this round. Benfica - Liverpool game is very easy to predict of course. Liverpool would focus on this game completely and destroy Benfica to have a good advantage. I don't think that they can resist Liverpool like they did against Ajax here. And the other game is going to be even more interesting. Manchester City are the favourite side incredibly highly now according to bookmakers. Their odd is 1.30 while Atletico's is 11.00. This is a really humiliating odd for Atletico but it is the facts I'm afraid. Manchester City would win here.

For me both matches have a clear favorite i have to say, at least on paper. Of course the favorite of the Liverpool - Benfica matchup is even more clear. Here i think Liverpool will go through to the next round with at least a 95% certainty. The differences in the quality of the squad of both teams are just to big in my opinion. If Benfica shows a great performance and has some luck on their side then of course a close win or even a draw in one leg is definitely possible but over two games i think Liverpool is just to strong, because they are in a great shape at the moment and have won all of their last games in the premier League too.
1603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My biggest crypto regret on: April 05, 2022, 08:01:28 AM
If I am given a chance to go back to 2020 I would hold my ETH very tight and never let go, when covid was hitting the world at its best I thought it over and I sold 24 ETH which I bought at 120$ each, I never knew I was so damn lucky to buy at that price, learn to hold tight if you believe in a project, there are countless of projects in past years that are way bigger in value right now.

If you sold it i April 2020 then at least you should have still made a profit with it. Of course the profit that you managed to achieve was only a fracture of the potential profit that you could have made if you would have held the Ethereum a few years more up until now or back into May 2021 when ETH was above 4000$ but the big problem with investments is that you can not look into the future. You should not look back to often because you just get frustrated every time you think about that "mistake" that you have made even if it wasn't a real mistake. Back then you just did what you thought was right. So it's time to move on i would say.
1604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 04, 2022, 12:37:00 PM
Borussia Dortmund have to be alert now, after their defeat in this week's match they are now closer to Leverkusen by just 6 points, as Leverkusen managed to get a win in the match against Hertha Berlin.
If Borussia Dortmund can't get up, it's very likely that in 3 games they will be replaced by Leverkusen.

Dortmund is not playing well at all this season and if Leverkusen manages to keep their current level for the last 6 matchdays then it is very much possible that Leverkusen will overtake Dortmund for the second place. Even if that happens though i don't really think that this would be to bad for Dortmund as it would not really have any consequence for them. The German Bundesliga is one of the 4 big leagues in Europe and therefore every club from position 1 to 4 on the Bundesliga table will directly qualify for the group stage of the Champions League. Dortmund has a 12-point lead on fifth place, that is the most important thing in my opinion.
1605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin Knock-Off Ends Up Being A Scam on: April 04, 2022, 12:27:55 PM
According to data provided by blockchain security firm PeckShield, DogeMother, one of the countless Dogecoin offshoots, is actually a scam.

DogeMother is a honeypot scam that has trapped buyers, according to blockchain security firm PeckShield.

Source: https://www.coinshots.com/news/dogecoin-knock-off-ends-up-being-a-scam

Well i can not really say that i am surprised. I mean first of all i have never heard of that project before and even though i am not that deeply into cryptos i guess if this would have been a big scam i would have heard it somewhere before. It is almost impossible to keep up to date with all the new projects that are appearing each and everday and i would say that still 95% of all new projects are shit-coins (meme-coins) and to be honest i don't see a big difference between a shit-coin that is a straight out scam or all the other shit-coins that are just trying to make quick and easy money with almost no effort by creating a new BSC token within a few minutes.

Should we blame Bayern for being good and dominating Bayernliga Tongue
They pick the best players, best coaches, build a solid team to compete everyone while Dortmund is making good players and sell them for profit, which makes the team quite unstable. For now they have Haaland, they will sell him most likely next season then? For Leipzig, same thing, they reformed the team although the good season they made last time and here we go. The other teams like Leverkusen aren't that consistent to compete Bayern.

To be honest i think that the squad of Leipzig is stronger than the one of Borussia Dortmund. Of course at the moment Dortmund still has an absolute superstar in their team with Haaland but he will be gone in a few weeks and then at latest for me Leipzig has the stronger team. As you already said, at the moment it looks like Dortmund can not really attract good and established player with a big and good reputation to join them. Their current operating mode is to get young and very talented players from the biggest club of europes, where those players don't get much opportunity to play. The problem is that, if those players are developing great they won't stay at Dortmund and if they stay at Dortmund.
1608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: newbie invest on: April 03, 2022, 03:45:05 PM
I have 2 BNB, what is a good project to invest in? Something with utility, no shit coins

As some in this thread already mentioned, Bitcoin is never a wrong investment in my opinion. Of course you probably won't make a x10 of your investment within a few years anymore like the earlier investors but i think a x2 of your investment is still possible. The question is though, if you really want to switch from BNB to BTC because i think the growth potentail for BNB is at least as good as the one from Bitcoin itself. Of course if we hit another bear market then usually BTC is falling not as much as the Altcoins. BNB is a very big project already so the effects won't be as hard as with the smaller cap altcoins but it will still be falling harder than BTC in a bear market.
1609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 03, 2022, 10:53:14 AM

Honestly Dortmund have a serious issue,  their bad performance is  getting at of hands.  It is so surprising that leipzig defeat them with a huge score,Dortmund was able to score 1 goal by struggling.  For long Dortmund have not win any match and their performance is getting worse everyday.  I don't expect Dortmund to loose this match to Leipzig.

I already said this before, i think that Dortmund was lucky quite a few times in this season already in matches that they have won in the end but where they were the worse team. For example against Cologne or in the first match against Leverkusen. I think that those lucky wins always kind of let people think that Dortmund is playing a OK or even a good season only looking at the points, at least in the Bundesliga. Their performances were very poor though in a lot of games also in the Champions League where they did not make it into the play-offs in a weak group and then in the Europa League they also were eliminated by the Glasgow Rangers.
I think Dortmund has a big structural problems and need to re-evaluate their general strategy. It is not enough to be a development club for young players of the really big football clubs.
1610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of launchpad projects certain? on: April 03, 2022, 10:49:04 AM
What do you think about launchpad projects? A friend said they fade away with time as some are based on IEO and some use IDO but as time goes by they faded away, is this true?

I don't think that there i a general yes or no answer to that. I already took part in a few sales from launchpad projects and as of now i think that the big majority of this project is still very active and looks still promising to me. Of course one or two of those projects are already dead now which means those investments are a total loss for me but even with those losses calculated in i am still in the profit zone in total. Back in may 2021 i was very deep in the profit zone like x100 form my initial investment but of course my portfolio took a heavy blow in the last 12 months because usually small and new projects fall even more than BTC and ETH.
1611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 02, 2022, 04:16:42 PM
I think that the Bayern Munich were a good choice to bet on against Freiburg. Because I believe that Bayern Munich will get a nice win here. It has been around ten minutes since the game started. Bayern Munich have already started to overwhelm their opponent. I still think that this is not going to be easy for Bayern Munich though. But they would find a way to win this game I guess. And a probable win for them would make Dortmund quite unhappy before their very tough Leipzig game.

Bayern won the match in the end with 4-1 goals. If you have not seen the match and you are only looking at the final result then it may seem like Bayern was the completely dominant and far superior team but that was really not the case. I would say that up until the 80th minute of the game the outcome was still very open, but then Coman scored the 3-1 for Bayern and the game was pretty much done. A great performance by Freiburg again in my opinion and another proof that they really deserve to be in such a good position in the bundesliga table. If they continue to play like this in the remaining games then Freiburg will be able to reach the european cups.
1612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ordinary folks with no financial education can be wealthy if......... on: April 02, 2022, 04:12:54 PM
..............if you do it like the EARLY btc and eth investors. But going in eth and btc now is risky because you wont make $1m out of $1000.

If you want to make $1m out of $1000 you better go in promising NEW projects that are still cheap like koinos which can still go x1000

I definitely agree with your first sentence here. BTC and ETH already made their first investors rich and by rich i mean literally from 100$ to a million. That was definitely possible if you were a very early bitcoin investor and you managed to hold your BTC for a few years. Even with ETH it was possible to make a x3000 of your initial investment if you were one of the very early investors.
The big problem is that nowadays there are so many new projects coming up that it is very hard to find one that is really promising and that will have an impact. So to find a project where you can make a x100 is still possible but very hard in my opinion. I think that 9 out of 10 new projects that are appearing will be gone again after a few months.
1613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 02, 2022, 09:35:28 AM
The ball remained mostly in Köln and looking at the statistics you would expect Köln to win. But Köln could not have any effect on the opposing team's goal and could not find good positions, they had little chance to shoot.
Union Berlin, on the other hand, did not play much with the ball, but they showed better attacks, only one goal was enough for them to win Cheesy

Most of the times the statistics don't lie but in the case of the match yesterday Union Berlin really looked more dangerous even though they had the ball not as often as Köln and therefore also did not have the control over the game most of the times. It just seemed like Union Berlin was just way more dynamic once they managed to get the ball and then played more straightforward while Köln did not really know what to do while having ball possession. This means now that both clubs have switched places in the table now. Both are still pretty close to place 6 which would qualfiy for the Europa conference league but i think that other clubs like Hoffenheim have higher chances to reach that position.
1614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin whales on: April 02, 2022, 09:29:57 AM
A lot of us are confused about the whales behind the altcoin blockchain, for the fact that the ethereum blockchain brought with it the ability for any programmer to make change to the blockchain which has given birth to several developments and new coins, tokens creation so the question is who are the whales behind the altcoin market development.

A whale for me per definition is someone that holds a large back of a certain coin. Of course the developers and team members of a certain crypto project are always also whales because usually around 10-15% of the total token supply is reserved for the team members. Those team tokens are usually vested for at least 1 year which means the team member can trade their tokens only after that period of time. Then of course they are whales of this project and if they have bad intentions they could just sell of their big bag and therefore dump the price of that token. Especially if it is a relatively small crypto project. Other whales are just rich people that buy into project with a lot of money.
1615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: April 01, 2022, 05:48:58 PM
All the group is pretty balanced, only Portugal group and Germany group might look tedious, the real excitement of this year world Cup might start probably from quarter final matches, England has the most fair group, if they fail to qualify they need to overhaul all their players and coaches
I think Fifa needs to increase the participants from all other continents too, Europe has lots as compared to other content

Fifa has already decided that from the world cup in 2026 and after that there will be 48 participants and not 32 as they are now. To be honest i don't really like that change. I mean yes of course that way more countries get a chance to be participate in the world cup but that also means that the average quality of the teams participating and therefore also the average quality of the matches played will be lower as with 32 teams. It is already known withing the football world that the european championship has a higher quality of teams and matches than the world cup because in the end the strongest national teams are in Europe. Outside of Europe there are only Brazil and Argentina that have realistic chances of winning a world cup title.
1616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The World cup 2022 missed a big business opportunity! on: April 01, 2022, 05:32:28 PM
FIFA could sell Tickets as NFT and ticket owners could resell it again , it could be never lasting business! Personally I would like to have one for my collection! What do you think?

I agree that it would definitely would have created some media interest and also some articles about it if FIFA would have sold tickets also as NFT's, but i think that would have been pretty much it, because beside of the publicity i don't see any added value above that. I mean as far as i know all those tickets are already in a digital form on your phone or other device as a barcode. I also don't know if reselling the tickets would work that easily as i think those are all personalized now or not? In addition to that i don't really see that such NFT's could have a lot of value above the price of the ticket itself, because there would a lot of them and they would have no use anymore after the tournament.
1617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - 2nd Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 01, 2022, 12:02:52 PM
Dynamo   VS   Schalke

Schalke will play a match against Dynamo today. A very important match for Schalke. Their dream of playing in the Bundesliga will not come true if they do not win this match. If they win the match, they will be able to move to third place behind Darmstadt. Dynamo is much weaker than Schalke as a team. They have drawn in the last two matches. In this match also, as usual, their goal will be to draw.

As others here already said, Schalke is definitely the big favorite in this match against Dynamo Dresden today. You just need to take a look at the table and this becomes already very obvious. Dynamo is fighting very hard in order to prevent to be relegated down to the third league, while Schalke is still fighting for one of the first 3 positions of the table. I think before the season most people expected that Schalke would have pretty good chances to reach one of the first two positions after this season but so far the race for the first places is very close. We have two teams that are doign surprisingly well this season with St. Pauli and Darmstadt which means that 2 of the 3 big clubs Bremen, Schalke and Hamburg could have to player another season in the second league.

What's your most hilarious crypto story of this year so far? Well here is mine, its the Almighty slap of Will Smith sending a token by the name of Will Smith inu raised up to 250% gain hours back, can't help but laugh out loud 😂😂 some crypto devs are crazy lol.

Read full news down below,     https://watcher.guru/news/will-smith-inu-spikes-250-a-slap-can-move-a-crypto-rock-at-will

I already wrote this in a similar thread about Will Smith Inu yesterday; I would not call the people that have created this next shit-coin "Devs" because they have not developed or programmed anything. They have just created another ERC-20 token which takes extremely little effort to do and then they used one of the most basic website templates that is available out there in order to create the website of the project which is barely showing anything and also takes forever to load the video of the slap which already indicates that they are using the weakest and cheapest of servers. The price is now down again and in a few days no one will talk about that shit-coin anymore.

Huh
1620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 31, 2022, 07:14:28 PM
Leipzig will play against Dortmund. An important match for Leipzig to defend their place for the qualification for the Champions League. Midfielder Amadou Haidara is absent for this match. He got an injury during the international match between Mali and Tunisia yesterday. Injury to the medial ligament in his left knee. It is a big loss for Leipzig because Haidara is a key player.

I don't think Leipzig has much of a chance, Dortmund will win this match. Haidara is a pretty good player and he's very important to the team, we'll see what he lacks. In the absence of this player, Dortmund will attack their opponent more effectively.
If they do not win this match, they will have a big problem in becoming the champion Smiley

I don't see a clear favorite in this match. Yes Leipzig will have to play without Haidara in this match and as far as i know also without their number 1 goalkeeper Gulasci and Yussuf Poulsen, but they still have a very strong team in my opinion. They still have players like Olmo, Nkunku, Angelino and Silva available. Also Dortmund will probably have to play without Erling Haaland again as he got an injury again during his stay with the norwegian national team. I have to say that it feels like that Haaland missed more games in this season that he was able to play. If i would be ManCity or Real Madrid i would really think twice if i want to pay 350 M €+ for Haaland for a 4 year contract.
