1481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will it happen ? on: May 05, 2022, 08:51:05 PM
So many newbies are curious about when they will increase their rank in cryptocurrency operation. Many of them tend to get discouraged when the task is becoming too much for them in bounty hunting.Majority get excited about the profits they have seen others making in crypto but the sacrifice they are not ready to make. I want to encourage Newbies that someday it will happen  but you have got to sacrifice and stay focused. Please  encourage someone new to crypto.

I am not really sure what you are talking about OP but given the fact that you are taking about ranks, operation, tasks and bounties i would guess that you are talking about the ranks here in this forum in order to be able to participate in good bounties where you can earn some nice amount of money. Nowadays it is pretty hard to rank up within this forum because you don't get automatically ranked up anymore after a certain amount of time and a certain amount of posts. Now you also need merits in order to get to the next rank and you only get merits from other users when they think that your posts are good and helpful. Sadly i think that people are way to stingy with their merits.

I believe Real Madrid deserved the win last night because looking at the consistency at which they troubled the defense of Man City, you will know they meant business.
When the goal came in the 73rd minutes by Riyad, most of the Real fans dropped and you could imagine what was going through their minds, but then, Rodrygo came to rue pep's joy. Truly a deserved win for Real if you ask me.

I already turned of my TV in the 86th minute or so because i was sure that nothing would happen anymore in this game. After all Real Madrid needed two more goals in only a few minutes in order to make it into the overtime and i just thought that this was impossible. Then before i went to bed i checked my phone again and i saw that the match was in the overtime. I instantly turned the TV back on and watched to the end. Absolutely crazy what happened again yesterday. The first half was pretty boring in comparison to the first leg but the second half was a total thriller again. I kinda feel sad for Pep Guardiola. Since his time at Barcelona he is extremely unlucky in the Champions League. At Bayern he was eliminated by Atletico Madrid two times even though Bayern was the better team and with ManCity this was also the case a few times now.
1483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying land in SHIB: The Metaverse on: May 05, 2022, 09:27:58 AM
On Wednesday, the Shiba Inu team took to Twitter to reveal that the SHIB token could now be used to mint parcels of land in the recently unveiled virtual reality project “SHIB: The Metaverse.”

I don't know. I would say that Shiba Inu is pretty late for hoping on the Metaverse Hype Train now as this trend is not really that big anymore nowadays. In the end i would guess that there will only be a few metaverse projects still alive in a few years from now and i would guess that those projects are the ones that are already live now or close to being live, like Decentraland, Sandbox, Victoria VR and Bloktopia for example. For me it seems like Shiba Inu is trying desperately to create news in order to stay in the focus of the public because in the end Shiba Inu is just another meme-coin without a use case and i don't think that Metaverse will change anything about that.
1484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Semifinals! on: May 04, 2022, 07:59:44 PM
The game between Madrid and Manchester City is getting harder than most speculators expected as almost half time into the game and no team has made any goal score as both clubs top in their group stages this is going to be the determinant game for who faces Liverpool in the finals.

Yes the first half has just ended and it was a very tactical game and no where near as exciting as the first leg. I also think that this was to be expected though because everything can be lost today if you are making one mistake after all while in the first leg the players can risk more because there is still a second leg where you can make up for mistakes that you have made. Today though it is obvious that Real Madrid is playing very carefully because they know that if ManCity manages to score first then it is pretty much game over for them. At the moment it is still completely open but the longer the games goes on the higher the probability that ManCity will go through.
1485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STEPN on: May 04, 2022, 07:33:09 PM
Do you think it is a good investment or rather a ponzi like scam?

I have seen quite a lot of new threads about STEPN coming up in the last few days here in this forum. This definitely proves that STEPN and the fitness token trend that it started are probably the biggest topic at the moment in the crypto space. I am not to familiar myself with STEPN but i think it is safe to say that it is definitely a legit project and not a scam or a ponzi scheme. That doesn't mean though that i would buy STEPN now because i avoid buying tokens that made huge gains very recently and if you are looking at the chart of STEPN then it is obvious that early investors already made a x30 on their investment.
1486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Semifinals! on: May 04, 2022, 08:10:02 AM
Congratulations to Villarreal, they tried to achieve something quite difficult. With the game he played in the first half, many believed that he would beat Liverpool, but in the second half, Liverpool scored goals and became the team that made it to the final.
Despite everything, Villarreal played very well and if they had finished the match with a score like in the first half, we would have watched a match that will go down in history Smiley

I agree. I mean in the end we can only congratulate Villareal for an amazing and totally unexpected performance in this Champions League season. Of course the team and their fans will probably still be pretty sad today, because after the first half yesterday it really looked like they could also manage to eliminate Liverpool, but sadly it was not quite enough in the end after all. Still they managed to eliminate Juventus in the round of the last 16 and even Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals. I guess not many people would have thought that Villareal would be capable of doing this and the great performance of yesterdays first half also proved that Villareal was not just lucky so far. I hope they can keep their team together.
1487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ever heard of this "buy at dip and be rich in the future" on: May 04, 2022, 08:06:24 AM
I did it all month of April. although do not know where the lowest point. I bought AXS, I bought Sol, ftm, luna, bitcoin, avax, all coins that I think have great potential and prices are falling. but today i started to doubt, what i did was right?
after I observed my assets were down quite a lot and it was enough for me to have trouble. I want to ask what did I do wrong? Or is this the right decision?

If you believe that the markets will recover and that we are seeing prices in the future again that are significantly higher than the prices at the moment, then you definitely did the right thing to have invested into the coins that you listed above. All of them are solid projects in my opinion. I guess the vast majority of the users on this forum will agree that the prices of cryptos will start to go up again sooner or later. So it's definitely better to invest now then in a bull market because of FOMO. Of course it is also obvious that you will probably never really hit the all time low for buying and the all time high for selling, because that is almost impossible.
1488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Semifinals! on: May 03, 2022, 09:27:45 PM
Who would have thought Liverpool will move from behind to winning the match I was thinking Villarreal was going to be so lucky tonight to have won this game but I yeah I was wrong Liverpool have to walk away with the winning with just 1 goal ahead of Villarreal.
The semi finals stage is full of surprises and since this is a knock out stage most clubs are prepared for the worst so their are playing their best football.

As a neutral football fan i really enjoyed the first 45 minutes because for me it was completely unexpected that Villarealwould be able to control the game and dominate Liverpool in such a way as they did in the first half. In the half time break i really thought that Villareal has a realistic chance of advancing into the final today. Klopp seemed to really have used that time in the break though to get his players back on track for the second half. There Liverpool took control over the game and sadly for Villareal and also for a neutral viewer they managed to score pretty early after the break and after the second goal of Liverpool the match was basically done.

What is the sign of bull market start

I think that you need a phase of a stable market or a sideways market before the price start climbing again. I am not an experienced trader but so far i have already experienced a few bull and also a few bear markets. Usually the first asset that begins to increase in value at the beginning of a bear market is Bitcoin, because it is still the lead indicator for the whole crypto market even today with so many other projects around. Then after a few weeks or so of constantly rising prices the bigger altcoins also begin to rise in price while bitcoin stays relatively stable then and even after that also the smaller cap altcoins start to rise.
1490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Semifinals! on: May 03, 2022, 01:28:17 PM
I don't believe in Villarreal that they can beat Liverpool, probably not realistic even at home stadium. I don't even know how many matches in a row Liverpool haven't lost, especially most of those matches Liverpool don't concede goals. Maybe Villarreal can score one goal or even draw, but Liverpool will definitely make the final.

I think that if Villareal does not manage to score a goal withing the first 45 minutes then Liverpool will definitely go through to the final. If Villareal manages to score though than i think even a strong team like Liverpool would get nervous if it is still 1-0 (1-2 in total) after 75 minutes or something. That being said though i don't see a reason why Liverpool should not be the team that tries to control and dominate the game even in the second leg and at the home stadium of Villareal. They definitely will not risk to much or even anything but if Liverpool scores the first goal then they are definitely through.
1491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk, Mark Cuban Discuss Using Dogecoin to Solve Twitter Spam Problem ! on: May 03, 2022, 01:24:20 PM
every one tweet for one doge. a decent suggestion, but that would make twitter no longer a free social media. for the doge ecosystem this is indeed a great breakthrough, and there will probably be a lot of demand for this meme coin if mark cuban's suggestion comes true. and bot problems can be solved easily.

I see 0 chance that something like this will come. I mean i can only talk for myself but if i had to pay something for every tweet that i would stop using twitter immediately. That being said i don't really give a crap about twitter and i only have an account there because sometimes it is needed in order to take part in an airdrop or even in a token sale or stuff like that, but i definitely don't use it to share stuff about my personal life because no one wants to see that. I am not sure how all those influencers would react to a change like that. In the end 1 Dogecoin is worth 0,13 USD at the moment so if you are tweeting a lot if will cost you a little bit of money.
1492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: May 03, 2022, 11:16:40 AM
It was almost two months hard earned money. Got busted in few minutes. I don't know why I wasn't able to have me within the limits. Just started with a $3 bet, but it went upto $98 and ended with empty wallet. This is completely unlucky, because every bets were placed to roll above 20 which means the winning probability is quite high. Anyhow I wasn't in control and I didn't follow the rule gamble what you can afford to loss. It was a money saved to repay a debt. Now once again the interest needs to be paid so to manage the debt for some more time. Unlucky me  Sad Sad Sad

Well that is very unfortunate for you, but i also have to say that it was totally your own fault, as you already said, because you did not follow your own rules and in the end you bet an amount of money that was very significant to you. I don't know if this will help you but you need to be aware that it is a very common thing that happened to you here and this happens to thousands of gamblers each and every day. They lose a bet, they are very sad or angry about that and they want to get that lost money back by betting even more and then they lose again and so on and so on. This is where the casinos make a lot of money. So you always need to be in control of yourself. Just learn from that experience for the next time.
1493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New project success on: May 03, 2022, 11:12:34 AM
Well, idk but I really wanna ask this question here, as we all are seeing lots of new alt crypto roaming around the crypto market. what are the factors needed for successful crypto projects, does anyone know?

In my opinion the most important factors in order to have not only a successful project launch but also a successful project in the longterm are a well explained roadmap with goals that make sense and that are achievable and not completely unrealistic, a competent and motivated team that is engaging directly with the community regularly, tokenomics that are fair to everyone and that are not having 30% of all tokens reserved for the teams and advisors and of course a usecase that makes sense and servers a real purpose.
Still in some cases all those points are not enough as the crypto market is still driven by hype for a large part so you also need a big of luck to have the right timing.
1494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 02, 2022, 01:54:44 PM
Some new rumours have come out like Real Madrid might want to see Cristiano Ronaldo back at the team this summer. If this really happens, he would be welcomed very well by the fans for sure. He had great years at Real Madrid. Of course I know that he is not able to perform like in the old times. But he would still be able to make a good contribution to the team as he has been doing for Manchester United this season. But I think that these are just rumours and Real Madrid won't even make an attempt to sign him back.

I also can hardly imagine that Real Madrid would really try to sign Cristiano Ronaldo again. I mean they have already made clear that they are not so emotional when it comes to signing or keeping players that have already crossed the zenith. That is also the reason why they did not prolong the contract of Ronaldo back in 2018 when he was "only" 33 years old. Now he is 37 and it would make absolutely no sense if they would sign him now. He will still demand a pretty high salary and Real still has debts of more than 900 M € so they need to save money. If Mbappe is really joining Real then they won't have money left for any more signings or expensive salaries.
1495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Benjamin Cowan named the four most promising altcoins on: May 02, 2022, 01:46:06 PM
Cryptocurrency analyst Benjamin Cowen stated on the InvestAnswers podcast that the most promising altcoins on the first-level blockchains in this market cycle are Ethereum, Cardano (ADA), Avalanche (AVAX) and Polkadot (DOT).
Source of news in Russian
What do you think about this? Do you agree with his opinion?

To be honest i have never heard of Benjamin Cowen before. I also think that you should not really care to much about the things that crypto analysts or other crypto influencers are saying in the end those guys are just trying to shill their own bags in 99% of the cases and i would guess that this is also true for the statement that you have linked in your post. The 4 projects that he posted as most promising are not really that surprising though as all 4 of them are big and established already. I am not so sure about Cardano though. It has pumpe a few months ago when the news came that smart contracts will be live soon but since then the trend is downwards.
1496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Racing and Gambling on it should be banned on: May 01, 2022, 04:39:06 PM
I was spending some time with my friends parents and there was not only a huge party but all of them placed p2p bets on the horse racing. They asked me to come over as well, the ending was deeply sad and essential to cover : The horse died after winning of a heart attack.
The horse was presenting signs of heart attack on the camera but no one was actually even giving it a second thought and at the end when it was the last lap, all the horses got whipped excessively hard as well. That gets me to my point "why do you support horse racing?" This is honestly far to cruel to continue.
According the this site: https://www.horsedeathwatch.com/background.php they have seen more than 2000 deaths in around 5500 days. Most of the horses die during the match as well, they also have instances where they are exploited using drugs (doping).
Are you aware that most of the horses go through slaughter as well? Some of them have very bad injuries making them not even the least bit useful for the business therefore they are killed without second thought. I do hope people would get more aware and try and steer away from *horse racing*.

I really like animals and therefore i don't watch or bet on stuff like horse or dog racing because everyone that is not completely naive knows that most of those animals are having a pretty bad life. Like you already said those poor horses get whipped so excessively during a race just to keep on running even though they are already completely exhausted. That being said i don't think that we will see a ban on horse or dog racing anytime soon. As others in this thread have already mentioned, horse racing is probably one of the oldest sports out there and there is also a huge amount of money involved. We can just hope that changes will be made in order to improve the live of the animals that are involved.
1497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all hacked on exchanges are real on: May 01, 2022, 03:36:00 PM
The perfect theft in crypto is claiming that a project or an exchange is hacked when its all an inside job, the reason why I think about this is I have never heard about other top exchanges helping a exchange that just got hacked to track their funds and get some back at least but if it's a sole hacker from outside they will track him or them down, why is that?.

Well the crypto space is full of scammers and bad people that want to steal the hard earned money from others. So in theory an exchange could also do such a thing i mean, you just need to pretend, that an hacker has took control over several exchange wallets while in reality the exchange team or only one guy of the exchange team was sending those token to himself. I would guess that exchanges can be insured against hacks like that so if they can make the insurance company belief that this was really an outside hack than they would get the funds from the insurance and they would get the tokens that they have transfered.
Of course this is just a theory and i would never make such claims unless there is certain evidence.

Manchester United have reportedly made a bid of £67million for Benfica star Darwin Nunez. The Red Devils will need a new centre-forward this summer amid uncertainty over the futures of Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood, Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial. But whether they’re successful in landing one of Europe’s hottest prospects remains to be seen.
https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1603566/Manchester-United-transfer-news-Darwin-Nunez-Benfica
Looking at how big the Manchester squad is, spells out huge wage bill which hasn't yielded good results! It's time Utd offloaded the extra players to give room for new replacements.

I read several articles in the last few days that are saying that Manchester United needs to do make the biggest transformation of it's squad in at least a decade after this season. Therefore it would definitely make sense to try to sign a new and promising striker like Nunez. I don't know though if they can really convince him to join Manchester United. This will also depend on what will happan with Haaland and Lewandowski after this season. If Lewandowski will join Barcelona then i think Nunez will be pretty high up on the list of Bayern Munich as a replacement for him. If Haaland joins ManCity then maybe Real Madrid also wants to sign Nunez.
1499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's the year 2018 over again on: May 01, 2022, 11:46:59 AM
It seems we are already in a bear market but how far can this go? A year or two just like 2018-2019? Or this is a short term bear market? MMCrypto on youtube said that 30,000$ BTC is possible, if this do happens altcoins will bleed more than ever and this will unlock the beginning of the downfall of many altcoins.

I am not sure where the market will head to be honest after the last few months i already tought that the phase of recovery had started again but now it seems like we are going into a new downward phase again after the last week. I don't even wanna look at my portfolio now because it consists mainly of small cap altcoins and as most of you probably know those small projects always suffer the most when a bear market comes. If BTC should really go down to 30k USD then this would mean a price drop of around 25%. If this really happens then i think it is safe to say that small altcoins would probably lose at least 50% of their current value.
1500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 30, 2022, 08:15:38 PM
Hoffenheim performance very poor lately with 6 consecutive no win and they want to ended these results and win because at the end of season Hoffenheim want to play at Europe league but Freiburg also had same ambition that they want reach to top 4 which mean champion league zone and also compare to Hoffenheim then Freiburg had more impressive performance with able to get 10 points from 4 matches so Freiburg more favourite to win this match than Hoffenheim

Hoffenheim vs. Freiburg was a very exciting match to watch today and in the end Freiburg was the lucky winner and won with 3-4. Hoffenheim showe a good performance today even though they have this series of unsuccessful matches and looking at the statistics they would have deserved at least a draw maybe even a win today. They have more shots, more shots on goal and even their expected goals rating is higher. In the end Freiburg was just the more effective team in front of the goal and this is also an important factor of course. This means that Freiburg is currently on the 4th position of the table which would qualify for the Champions Leauge, but of course Leverkusen still has to play their match on monday.
