1641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask airdrop is coming on: March 27, 2022, 11:55:28 AM
Its seems that metamask retrospective airdrop is very near
In an August 2021 community call, the MetaMask team openly discussed the possibility of a token launch. And just last month, MetaMask’s lead of operations “Jacobc.eth” told DeCrypt that a token launch wouldn’t be a “cash grab” and wouldn’t put governance into the hands of “airdrop farmers”

With more than 30 million monthly active user on metamask (as a wallet) i wonder how will be the filtering and who will be the real metamask user, do you guys have an idea about this?

I also heard rumors about a airdrop of Metamask tokens in many different telegram channels many times now over the course of the last few months. So far i was never lucky to be part of the last few big airdrops that happened like the one from Uniswap, opensea or the most recent one from apecoin. If metamask is really doing an airdrop then i should be also getting some tokens this time and i would guess that this could be one of the biggest airdrops that ever happened because Metamask is the most common crypto wallet out there as far as i know, maybe not for mobile devices but definitely for the internet browsers, so if really hundreds of thousand people get an airdrop i am not sure if the sell pressure will not get to high.
1642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 26, 2022, 11:41:58 PM
I don't see any chance for Dortmund to be honest. They never make me excited as they just keep the same gap with Bayern Munich all the time. No team can achieve even one title unless they are very lucky for that season. And against a team like Bayern Munich you would be in a bigger trouble too. And it seems like Bayern Munich are going to win the Bundesliga title one more time and maintain the streak. This started to be annoying much time ago but still there is no change.
Very annoying buddy. If it is happening in the France ligue 1, we could say that only Psg has a good team and quality players that is why they keep dominating.  Atleast, Dormund is a big team and has some good players and don't really understand why Bayern Munich has actually given them many opportunities to overtake for 5weeks now but they keep playing around the table. It is really annoying. The remaining value they have is that Haaland, if that guy is able to leave Dortmund this season and they don't sit up, they'll become like every other average club in Dutch.

Yeah it's really weird this season. I mean i don't remember a season in the last 5 or 6 years at least where Bayern Munich gave away so many points. They should have easily won their games against Frankfurt and Augsburg in the first half of the season for example but they lost both of those games because their opponents basically scored a goal with literally every chance they created.
Sadly for the Dortmund supporters and also for the neutral fans, that want to see a close race for the Bundesliga title up until the end Borussia Dortmund was never really able to benefit from that many mistakes that Bayern already made this year. Dortmund itself is just not strong and stable enough themself.
1643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is a centralized SCAM and will drop to $30 again on: March 26, 2022, 11:36:19 PM
Why do people go in ETH now or trust ETH now when the secret to success was to buy ETH at $0.25 or $10?

When now you are better off going in projects that are like early eth for example koinos which the devs work relentlessy on daily as you can see on github but its still so cheap as eth was day1 so this is a chance to make $100k from $100 while eth is not only making the rich richer

If you want to shill the project that you are part of or from which you have a bag of, then you should at least do it in a more subtle way and not as as obvious as you did it here and you also should not really combine your shill attempt with a bashing of one of the biggest and most successful projects in the whole crypto space. Without ETH and all the functionality that it introduced into the world of crypto, we would now be nowhere near the total marketcap that we are today. Even BTC would probably never be this high if Ethereum with it's smart contract functionality would have never been created. Of course early investors into ETH already made a x3000, but that is not ETH's fault.
1644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: March 26, 2022, 07:58:25 PM
Pole for Sergio Perez is something what was very difficult to predict. After all, it was first career pole for him. Leclerc did best what he can do - he was just 0.025 seconds behind, what is nothing.
Hamilton not getting out of Q1 is something what didn't happened for long. But I don't think that it shows something - shit happens for everyone sometimes
And that Mick crash - you understand that things is serious when they don't show replays of crash. His car break into half, but seems that Mick is OK.

This race weekend is full of unforeseen happenings but sadly most of them are quite negative. First the attack on the oil tanks pretty close to the track which almost lead to a cancelling of the race tomorrow but in the end the financial interests and the fear of saudi arabia that they might lose reputation if the grand prix gets cancelled was bigger of course.
The crash of Mick Schumacher looked extremely hard, the car was totally destroyed i mean it was literally split into at least 2 or 3 parts. I think it is safe to say that 20 or 30 years ago there would have been a big chance that a driver would have died in a crash like that but thankfully the car has evolved quite a lot since then.
1645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this true? on: March 26, 2022, 07:54:43 PM
Altcoins that are released in the bear market have a high chance of bringing good returns than those that have already surged high in a bull market, this is what a friend told me this morning, do you think this is true? He used Vulcan forged as an example

There is no clear "yes" or "no" as an answer to this question in my opinion. I mean of course it is true that you can make the most profit if you buy a coin when it is at a very low price and when you sell it afterwards once it reached it's all time high. The big problem with this approach is though that you never know if the price at which you are buying this altcoin is already at the bottom or at least close to the bottom or if it falls another 90% or so from the point on at which you have purchased. Also i think that the chance of small altcoins not surviving a long bear market is always there even if they are good projects and don't even get me started on meme-coins.
1646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 25, 2022, 06:39:24 PM
Another rumors has broken out. In the race to sign Kylian Mbappe, Barcelona is challenging Real Madrid. Mbappe has not chosen yet and will listen to Barca's offer, according to several media outlets. According to this report, I don't think it's financially advisable for Barca to sign Mbappe. The club is just emerging from financial troubles, and going for a player whose salary is as large as Mbape's is not a good investment. Mbappe and Haaland are my top two choices for Real Madrid and Barcelona, respectively.
It is quite surprising Barcelona is showing interest now that is if the rumors are true but the question is with which money? Yes, Mbappe will be free on summer but Barcelona cannot afford to give him the wages and bonus he wants. So, I will assume this just a rumor. Mbappe moving to Real Madrid seems like a done deal already but I would have love him in Barcelona because the team is just building and it will be easy for Xavi to build the team around him but the chance of this happening is low.

I am also quite surprised that this rumor now has come up and that even serious sports news are reporting those rumors. I mean come on, for me it's already ridiculous that Real Madrid wants to sign Mbappe because they also have more than 900 Million of debts. Mbappe does not cost any transfer fee but they need to pay him at least 25 M€ per year as salary and probably also some additional signing fees that are going to Mbappes agent. And now the rumors that even Barcelona wants to try to sign Mbappe which is even more ridiculous because they have more than 1,3 Billion € of debts i mean come on, they should not be allowed to have a negative balance for transfer within every season until they are free of debts.
1647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would crypto fare without centralized exchanges? on: March 25, 2022, 04:59:08 PM
If crypto becomes extremely popular in the future (widely adopted by a vast majority of people worldwide), it's probable governments will turn against it. They can pressure centralized exchanges to close up shop or face serious consequences in the long run. After all, these exchanges are the on and off ramps from the crypto world to the Fiat world. While not every country is against crypto, they might change their stance once they see Russia using it as a means to avoid sanctions.
Imagine if most countries unilaterally agree on banning centralized exchanges for good. Will that mean the end of crypto for good (even though it would still be possible to get some crypto through decentralized exchanges)? After all, most people will be afraid of using crypto if it's declared "illegal". The ban of centralized exchanges will surely topple crypto prices, signaling fear among investors and traders alike.
What are your thoughts? Huh

To be honest i think if that ban would have occured like 2 years ago then this could have potentially been the end for the whole crypto space because back then there were no real Dexes yet, except one on the ETH network which name if have forgotten at the moment but i also remember that the functionality of that DEX was by far not as good as it is today.
That is also the reason why i think that a ban of centralized exchanges would not really be the end of crypto anymore today because just take a look at how many Dexes we have out there now already there are at least a few to chose from for basically each relevant blockchain out there. So the trading could continue.
1648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: March 25, 2022, 11:35:46 AM

The biggest surprise of last night was realized by North Macedonia. Italy dominated the game for almost 90 minutes. They got a lot of chances but couldn't score.  North Macedonia, on the other hand, eliminated Italy with a great goal at the end of the match. They were probably working on taking the game to penalties and eliminating that goal, which was great for them. The last European champion, Italy, could not make it to the world cup.  In the final, they will fight Portugal

To call the outcome of the match of Italy vs North Macedonia a big surprise is probably still one of the biggest understatements in sports in the last few years. I mean after all we are talking about the current European Champion here which really won the Euro last year in a very deserved way in my opinion. I don't even know if this ever happened before, that a reigning champion has missed the qualification of the next big international tournament. That being said they also were extremely unlucky in my opinion. They definitely dominated the match as you already said and they should have won it  but if you are not able to score even with that many chances then of course it's also your own fault.
1649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this a start of bull rally in ALTCOIN? on: March 25, 2022, 11:31:45 AM
For the last two days you see 23 and 24 March 2022 you are seeing a huge increase in the price of altcoin. Currently btc is also performing very well. It seems that by April 2022, altcoin has started bull rally. And that looks set to last until the end of 2022. Let me know what you think.

The price movement across the whole cryptomarket was really positive over the last few days but i still think that it is way to early to call this a bull market yet or even to think that this could be the beginning of a real bull market. I personally would be happy if BTC would manage to stay above 40k or so for a longer period of time now so for at least a month or longer without ever going below 40k and the same way i hope that Ethereum can stay above 3000 $ for at least a month or so. If this really happends then i think the price can slowly but surely start climbing from there. I mostly own small cap altcoins which have not started to rise in price so far so i hope after a few weeks of rising prices for the big coins the small projects also begin to rise.
1650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 24, 2022, 11:26:36 AM
Don't forget to put Diego Simeone on the list, because I hear the rumors that guys are also interested in training the red devil squad. But, of course, they will get obstacles from Athletico Madrid who very loves this guy, he got a high salary of about 3 M euro each week which means he is the one coach with the highest salary in the world, indeed it is equivalent to what Atletico get. If MU can get the sign, the premier league will be the most expensive coach competition in the world.

Erik ten Hag just speculative only although have made interview working with Manchester United because have another rumor with Diego Simeone as Atletico Madrid head coach as one candidate for Manchester United new coach next year. I see have potential Diego Simeone than Erik ten Hag because he has a lot of experience with achievement La Liga and success trophy and ever make Atletico Madrid success trough to the final champion league with Erik ten Hag just popular with Eredivisie only.

To be honest i am not sure which coach i would chose from those two if i would be one of the Manchester United officials that can make that decision, if those coaches even want to join Manchester United in the first place of course. Of course Diego Simeone has a way bigger reputation in european football than Erik en Hag because Simeone reached the Champions final two times with Atletico which is a great achievement. I am not really sure though if Simeones way of coaching would work that well at Manchester United as it does at Atletico Madrid. There everything is about mentality and passion and not so much about nice to watch football.
1651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from crypto influencers on: March 24, 2022, 11:12:23 AM
Stop following crypto influencers, those of you who like using YouTube videos to pick coins and tokens to invest in you need to hear this, those crypto influencers on YouTube are getting paid to promote those projects they are chilling, why would they promise you 2x or 5x when they aren't part of the team themselves? They did this because that's how they make their own money. He who have hears let him hear.

It is absolutely true what you are saying and i could not agree more. All those crypto influencers out there are really dangerous in my opinion especially for people that are newly coming into crypto and are still naive about stuff like that. As you already said, 99% of all those crypto influencers don't care about their followers at all all they care about is to increase their own wealth. They are doing that via paid promotions that you have already mentioned but they are also doing it for projects in which they were able to buy into the private sale which is even worse in my opinion because this means that those influencers could aquire to tokens for a very low price then they shill it to their followers and once the token gets listed and pumps, the influencers dump on their followers.
1652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 24, 2022, 09:39:44 AM
Just found out meself about Barty, feels pretty rare an event but I haven't followed tennis properly but hey, too short for us, just enough for her, fair game. Reminds us that these are people in the end and with goals and dreams, but damn, she went out on a high, didn't she? Aussies hearts be broken.

P.S. Wouldn't be ruling out a future return, though if she does, hope better than Hingis did on her second, third return? Ultimately incomparable of course.

I usually don't follow tennis that closely if there are no Grand Slams ongoing, so i am not really up to date with the current matches and tournaments and stuff but that news about Ashleigh Barty's retirement were almost impossible to miss as they were even part of the mainstream news on television. I was also extremely surprised that she is retiring with only 25 years of age, i mean she is still so young that you could play for like 10 more years if no major injuries would happen. You also have to admire that she is doing that even though she could earn millions and millions of dollars in the next few years but she does not really care about that apparently which is a great trait for a human.
1653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading question on: March 24, 2022, 09:30:08 AM
Hi guys I'm trying to hard to know more about crypto trading but my friends are saying that trading stocks like NAS and GBP are better than crypto, Between Forex trading and crypto trading which one do you prefer the most and why?

I don't think that there is an objective better way of investing, there are only subjective opinions what a person prefers to invest in. Given the fact that you are on a forum that is about crytocurrencies i am pretty sure that a lot in here will answer that they prefer to invest into crypto instead of into traditional stocks and i have to say that i am also one of them. The reasons for that for me are that i only invest small amounts of FIAT that i can lose completely without having any impact on my life or future plans of purchasing something and with such small amounts i don't think i can make nice profits with traditional stocks. If you invest 500$ into traditional stocks and you make 10% profit over a few months then you have 550$ which is nice but not really a game changer. In crypto you always have the chance, even if the chance is pretty small, that you make a x10 of your investment.
1654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 23, 2022, 01:41:44 PM
according to sky italia, the transfer of midfielder Franck Kessié to fc barcelona in the summer is a done deal. the 25-year-old ivorian is said to have already passed the medical check and signed a four-year contract with the catalans.
Kessie is a perfect midfielder for Barcelona, he can play in some positions (DM, CM, AMF) and can be the successor for Sergio Busquets. Barcelona is lucky to sign Kessie because this player is targeted by some top clubs and he is the main player in Milan. It shouldn't be easy to negotiate and persuade a player who has many offers from some big clubs, especially when Barcelona has a bad issue of the financial crisis. I hope Barcelona won't have any difficulty paying his salary then.

If is true and Kessie goes to Barcelona then this a great transfer made by Barca and i can only congratulate them. For me this transfer makes a lot of sense in a lot of ways for Barca and for Franck Kessie. First of all i still think that FC Barcelona is a bigger club than AC Milan even though Milan has a lot of reputation too but their good years were in the early 2000's, so this is definitely a improvement for Kessie in my opinion. Secondly it is also a great transfer for Barca too, Kessie is a great player who can surely help them and which is also very important is the fact that they don't have to pay a transfer fee for him as his contract with AC Milan is expiring after this season. Barca with their 1,3 Billion € of debts needs to make transfer like this because they need to safe money.
1655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto wealth can only be built in bear market on: March 23, 2022, 01:32:52 PM
Wealth is created during the bear market not in bull market, the question now is are we still in bull market or bear market? We can't expect crypto market to crash instantly if bear is going to happen it will be a gradual process so what is your take on this? Should newbies wait or buy coins right now?

Of course the goal that you should always have as an investor no matter if it is in real estate, gold, traditional financial products like stocks or in cryptocurrency is to buy as low as possible and to sell as high as possible. Therefore the potential for maximum profit is only there if we are in the bear market because only then you can acquire projects at a low price. The big problem is though that once we are still in a bear market we just don't know if the price continues to fall or if we have already reached the bottom and in general people are hesitant to invest while we are in a bear market. In the end you never know how the market reacts in the future which is the big problem with investing.
1656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 23, 2022, 09:53:00 AM

but what will Chelsea do next year?
for this year he was given the extension .. but what happens next?
it is absurd what happens (for the fans) and who knows how they will solve it

what a mess these days with the war in ukraine\

I also think it will be interesting to see what happens to Chelsea after this season. Even though Abramovich is a oligarch i think he was a great investor for Chelsea who did not invest into the club to make money with it but to help the club become one of the strongest teams in Europe. If i remember correctly then Chelsea was just an average Premier League club before Abramovich came.
So it will be interesting to see what happens when there is a new investor. Will he, just like Abramovich, also pump money from his own pocket into the club in order to stay competitive or will he just buy the shares from Abramovich and that's it? If the latter is the case then i don't think that Chelsea can stay one of the top clubs of Europe.
1657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitgert Vs Shiba inu on: March 23, 2022, 09:39:51 AM
Is it true that what bitgert project has in store will beat shiba inu to the core? I've been hearing and reading all these rumours online for a while now what do you think about bitgert project? Anyone investing money on this project already?

I think that every "real" crypto project out there can beat Shiba Inu or any other of those shit-coins or meme-coins out there in terms of functionality and use-cases because in the end those meme-coins are absolutely useless ans solely build on hype that is now slowly but surely fading away. I have never heard of bitgert and i don't know if it is just another sh*t-coin that is created by a team that just wants to make quick money without putting any effort into a project or a "real" project that is trying to achieve something. If it is just another meme-coin then i think you should definitely not invest in it, if it is a real project then do your research and then decide if you want to invest or not.
1658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 22, 2022, 05:47:14 PM
Look at what the English teams are doing. Liverpool, Manchester City, and Chelsea are all in the champions league and at the same time are topping the English premier league. English clubs are showing a lot of promise in the Uefa champions league.

Well i definitely agree with you that the english teams are the big favorites to win the Champions League this year. Manchester City is probably the biggest favorite of them all, followed by Liverpool and then maybe Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are all 3 at the same level i would say. That the english teams are so dominatn is not really a surprise to me. The big difference is that the english clubs just have way more money to spend in comparison to Bayern Munich for example because the clubs of the premier league get way more money from the TV stations then the Bundesliga clubs for example. The premier league gets 5,5 billion € for 3 seasons (1,83 B€ per season) while the bundesliga gets 4,4 Billion € for 4 seasons (1,1 B€ per season), which is a huge difference and in addition to that german clubs need to own at least 51% of the clubs themself, which is a good thing in my opinion because that way there are no sheikhs or oligarchs which can purchase football clubs for fun like in Paris, Chelsea or ManCity, but of course this also means that this money is missing.
So the english teams will always have a big financial advantage and it will be very hard for Bayern Munich to stay competitive in the next years in my opinion.
1659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about gaming and metaverse on: March 22, 2022, 05:38:18 PM
Guys I have few questions for you guys about p2e games and metaverse projects

1. Would you choose gala games over decentraland for future?
2. What do you think about metaverse future? Wil this work out on the long run because no project have shown a full working metaverse project so far.

To your first question: I think that both of the projects that you listed already did a x100 or even more so no matter which of those projects you choose for your investment you need to be aware that another x100 is pretty unlikely for both projects, except the whole crypto market goes into a very big bull market again.
I also have not seen a metaverse or play2earn project yet that i would really want to play or experience just for the gameplay or the experience alone. I would just play them in order to make money while playing which is not good.
Victoria VR released it's first ingame trailer today and it does look pretty good i would say https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ImzB8WsbsmM but of course we don't know yet if this metaverse is fun or exciting to enter.
1660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 22, 2022, 11:49:16 AM

I believe that Dortmund doesn't have that championship DNA with this roster. I mean the team itself have been champions plenty of times before, but the roster do not have too many players who lived championship before. Plus they have missed Haaland so many times this year, which resulted with a lot of problems for them. In the end this caused them to be behind, and keep on losing points all the time.
Bayern on the other hand is a team filled with championship players and they know what they need to do and they know how to take it to next gear very easily whenever they need to. You may see them lose points few times in a row and just as they need to win a game, they could play a great team and beat them 7-0 out of nowhere.

I agree with you that the current team of Borussia Dortmund does not really have the players that you need in order to win a big title or even the Bundesliga title. I also think that the officials of Dortmund brought themself into that position, because of the transfers that they keep on doing. Borussia Dortmund does not really feel like a big club in europe for me, usually they always buy young and very talented players from big clubs like Real, Manchester United and others. Then there are two options; those young players are showing great performances which means that they don't want to stay at Dortmudn but wnat to go back to a bigger club like Sancho and Hakimi for example in the last two years. Now they have two great young players with Haaland and Bellingham and those two will most likely leave the club too after this season.
