There is no issue with the DNS or any sort of exploit going on, really embarrassing but we simply forgot to renew the domain and received no notification it was expiring. For some reason we were certain we purchased it in may, but that is when the .net was registered. Anyways it has been renewed for many years so this doesn't happen again, waiting for registrar to re-point the domain. When we first opened Primedice we honestly didn't expect it would last this long and are still shocked that we're able to hold a significant percentage of the bitcoin gaming community despite the market becoming unbelievably saturated. We've been extremely lucky to make it where we've gotten despite many obstacles and owe it to the community. After pd3 is launched I will be committing the majority of my time towards a non-profit project which I feel will truly support the bitcoin community.

Primedice 3 is quickly nearing completion with additional unplanned features that will be a lot of fun.  Smiley

Also the work-around mentioned above does work.

Will that PD3 have something new, original? Or just some few modifications that are everywhere these days?

It's Stunna... There is always something new. If you guys what to see the finishe design, check out the prinedice blog.

Bumping this back up. Unless new software is coming within a month, I recommend adding in 2fa.
2404  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coingig.com Closing Down! on: February 12, 2014, 03:50:17 PM
any idea what might be the reason behind the shutdown.

Is it because feds busted 2 Miami guys in connection to ML a couple of days ago.?
http://krebsonsecurity.com/2014/02/florida-targets-high-dollar-bitcoin-exchangers/

Quick question : Do you guys think sites like coingig come under AML laws eventhough bitcoin was being exchanged for goods / services.

It's either legal issues or technical issues (stolen money, TX malleability etc). Or it's quite possible that running a website like this is too much effort, but I feel that in this situation they'd at least auction off the website to a new owner.

Bitcoin withdrawals take 24 hours?  Roll Eyes

All withdrawals should be accounted for as far as I know of. If you haven't received yours for some reason still send over a support email.

Hello,

I like playing primedice pretty much, don't know how successfully, but it's a nice game still.
I have one small issue,

Yestarday, I made new username and deposit 0.01, then I cleared my browser's cache and forgot to save password. Even haven't made single roll from this 0.01 btc.
Here is details:
nickname: ivanov
btc deeposit details sent to support.

Now waiting for support, hope they fix my problem. Will inform.

Please help, Stunna Cheesy

They'll be able to transfer those funds to a new account, make sure you email them your new account user ID.

what is PD3?
GUI enhancement or more games?

I think the current gui is very good. pls let me keep using it.

UI will be almost identical but face-lifted to look a bit more modern/professional. Will just be dice with more features, no new games yet.

What's going on with verification? Following instructions here https://primedice.com/modals/verify.html I can't get the primedice roll to match up to the verified roll.

For this bet https://primedice.com/modals/bet.html?id=459292926 primedice has 67 when I verify I get 39.

My code

Code:
$seed = "23c101ef5ea7406036c7d0aace3582b1b0d185dc8d490c76afecc620f5bcf3cab776897424c280279c4e1dcfc305c4a2bbc56e9ab5e8b2d8732a2144de3cbbb6";
$server = "165ae4a71391814738";
$client = "38382-0013";

$hash = hash('sha512', $seed . $server . $client);

$value = substr($hash, 0, 8);
$dice = round(hexdec($value)/42949672.95,2);

echo "Roll", " ",   $dice;

Am I doing something wrong?
Are these instructions obsolete?

Is there a website that verifies various provably fair gambling sites, preferably with javascript code running client side? I tried JavaScript code too, only got it to match up to the PHP result.

OMG! You are RIGHT!!! This may be proof of scam although I highly doubt it.
Pretty shitty scam considering he won the bet, but should have lost it if the result was proper. Wonder what's going on?

Pretty sure an older secret is being shown instead of the most recent one, waiting on dev to reply/sort this out.

EDIT: This should be sorted out, was displaying an old secret as I suspected. Re-look up the bets you'd like to examine.
2409  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Primedice Unfair? on: February 08, 2014, 10:29:13 PM
I think it is showing the secret from 48 hours ago instead of 24 hours ago for some reason. Thanks for bringing this to my attention I'll update this post when our developer replies. Obviously no foul-play was involved as this is the case for every single bet apparently.

I used bitinstant all the time. It was a good service and I appreciated it.

Hang tough bro.   Smiley

Was a solid service indeed, during the early days of PD I remember I managed to get coins fast enough to keep the website afloat in part due to bitinstant. Fun times
2411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scammer Matthew N Wright wants to sue Theymos lulz!!! on: February 05, 2014, 08:00:24 AM
While it is really disappointing that the new forum was never made I think people should look at this situation a bit differently. The donations are now worth millions of dollars due to Theymos not frivolously spending them and can be used for something of substance. Personally I think the forum is fine and should just be updated a bit with features such as 2fa and better watchlists. I doubt Matt's donation was worth more than $100 at the time of sending anyways, if he attempts a lawsuit all the people he's scammed should form one against him as well.

What we should be discussing though is how the forum can use those millions of dollars in a productive manner, personally I think bitcointalk should organize several conferences and events to raise awareness.

Hey i see some people here have affiliate links ? How i can get that ? I invited lots of people on pd, but i don't get anything from it .

Affiliates is disabled until PD3 launches, so you are going to have to wait. Sorry.
how much do affiliates earn?

It will be 10-20% of the house edge regardless of win or lose.

Wow, sexy artwork. Who was the designer? I <3 the flat design.

Contrast8 designed a handful of logo concepts for us, we ended up choosing the one posted above.

Our designers emailed us today and said front end will be done in a week, it was supposed to be done over a week ago though so I can't make any promises.

pretty certan he's just mocking the trust system here stunna.

Yeah I know, I didn't have to pay him out though and did so as gesture of good will, so it is rather rude.
2417  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Vod is a raging troll, Dont trust him.- UPDATE on: February 02, 2014, 05:52:27 AM
Despite Ultra not meeting my criteria for the signature payout I had chosen to pay him out in full not once but twice.

Unfortunately he still decided to leave me negative feedback for some reason.

I think you should make it so we are able too see other users bets from their profile.

Would that be possible Stunna?

This is a good idea, but I dont think some people will like it.
So you would be on-board with the idea? I have been playing since almost the begging of the site and have always wanted this.

I have mixed feelings. There should be a way to disable it.
Why though? What would be the negative aspects? People would not be able to lie to try and get pity btc? lol There is no real downside to it....

Perhaps the best compromise is to let users filter all bets by user and let them watch live.

Not too sure about hotkeys, already get tons of messages about people accidentally all inning due to hitting max by accident etc.

Also we now have a subreddit, will keep it updated. I'm not too sure about the forum's stance on giveaways etc at the moment so we'd likely do giveaways through reddit as well. Feel free to subscribe:

I've also been waiting on a couple of cashouts for a few hours.  Is it always this long of a wait?

Sorry about that, someone was flooding cashouts but we've placed a hotfix to prevent that in the future.

Are they running at full speed now?

I think there might be some sort of delay for the next day on cashouts until we have it fully sorted.
