^  I think vs Fiziev, Chandler would have no choice but to use his wrestling.  And he has a good camp with those guys at Sanford MMA.  Pretty sure they'll come up with a good game plan that should incorporate Chandler's wrestling.

Anyway, it's really nice to see the fighters making weight lately.  Another event with no misses...  Here are the results.

Brian Ortega (146) vs Yair Rodriguez (145.4)
Amanda Lemos (116) vs Michelle Waterson (115)
Li Jingliang (170.6) vs Muslim Salikhov (170.8 )
Su Mudaerji (125.8 ) vs Matt Schnell (126)
Shane Burgos (145.8 ) vs Charles Jourdain (145.6)
Lauren Murphy (125.2) vs Miesha Tate (125.8 )
Dalcha Lungiambula (185.6) vs Puna Soriano (185.6)
Jack Shore (136) vs Ricky Simon (135.6)
Bill Algeo (146) vs Herbert Burns (145.4)
Dustin Jacoby (205) vs Da-un Jung (205.6)
Dwight Grant (184.4) vs Dustin Stoltzfus (185.6)
Emily Ducote (115.6) vs Jessica Penne (115.8 )

There seems to be a mistake with Tapology's page for this event.  Lemos vs Waterson is at straw weight, not at fly weight.  I put Lemos at my top ticket.  Now I'm feeling like it's going to be a close match.  :/
2422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 14, 2022, 10:03:06 PM
Chandler is a tough match up for him too due also to the elite wrestling.
For me, Makhachev is a real threat to Fiziev, and the level of wrestling for Chandler for me is not that much to the Dagestan wrestling of Makhachev, it is proven that Fiziev has great balance for takedown defense and I think Chandler will just be Clobbered by Fiziev when going for a takedown,

Just my two cents. When was the last time you saw Chandler was using his wrestling, except trying to stop take downs ? Cheesy In last 10 years, he has won thanks to elite wrestling 3 times out of 14. Wrestling did not work well in a fight against Oliveira. I think Chandler prefer to fight in stance. And if he fights Fiziev, the chances of winning will be 50/50. I even think that Fiziev has more chances to knockout Chandler, than Chandler to knockout Fiziev. If they fight, Fiziev, as a master of Myai Thai, will try counter every take down attempt with knee, and with his reflexes and speed, this knee will end their fight.

You're right...  Chandler doesn't really use his wrestling as his primary mode of attack.  But the thing is you know it's there ready to be used.  And if all else fails in the striking, I think any fighter who can't compete in a striking battle vs Fiziev will have to resort to their wrestling skills.  RDA did but he wasn't good enough.  But Chandler?  He's D1 wrestler so I think he could take Fiziev down easier than RDA did.  Dunno, that's how I see it happening in my head.
2423  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 13, 2022, 04:02:55 PM
I feel like it's gonna be ranging between 18k - 22k from here on out for as long as it could and it'll just wait for something to happen..  A catalyst to put it back in bull mode.  Whatever that may be, I don't think it's coming this year.   And if anything, it's looking like it could get worse.  I remember around Dec 2018 when we all started to think BTC was all stable and out of nowhere it started to go down from 6k to 3k in a couple of days.  Lolol.  Same thing with the drop of Jan 2015, from 300 to 150.

But those 50% drops marked the bottom tho.  So be on the look out for that this time around too.

What wrong with Mesut? I had almost forgotten about him, but I read some news about him. As a result of mutual consent, Mesut Ozil's contract has been terminated by Fenerbahçe, Turkish professional football club. He has joined Istanbul Basakshir, a rival team. Ozil is a man of bluntness and truthfulness. Supporting oppressed groups and speaking out about them was always a part of his life. There is a lot of respect and love I have for him.

The guy has no heart according to Mourinho.  He played really well at Real Madrid back in the day because all those players around him complemented his style of play and were very good players.  When Arsenal acquired him for I think a then club record fee due to pressure from the fans, it turned out he wasn't as good as he was when he was playing with players a tier below Real Madrid's players.  He didn't shine and wasn't able to.  In short...  He was a flop.

^  But Ferrari looking good the last couple of races.  They're prolly getting their shit together now and start gaining points vs Red Bull in both driver's and constructor's championships...  And the next race is going to be in France too.  Leclerc should be a bit more motivated going into the race weekend.  The Alpines are something to watch too and the Haas.

After 11 races, I gotta say that the team that disappointed me the most is Aston Martin.  It was a good consistent mid table team that started declining in terms of results even though huge sums of money came in when Lawrence Stroll took over.
2427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 13, 2022, 03:25:27 PM
^  Makhachev would def beat Fiziev.  Chandler is a tough match up for him too due also to the elite wrestling.  If the match makers are smart, they'd give him Justin Gaethje.  It's good match up with Fiziev having a chance to win as the underdog.  Gaethje has a wrestling background but he likes strike.  They guy doesn't get KO'd easy too.

lol, everyone wants to rematch with Volkanovski. Ortega probably is somewhere in the end of a queue to fight Volkanovski again. Maybe next year or after several wins Ortega can get a second shot. Otherwise featherweight will turn into a boring roundabout of 4 fighters trying to take a belt from Volkanovski waist.

I guess Ortega needs to win 2 more fights so he can challenge Volkanovski again, but for me, Alexander Volkanovski is way more in his league from watching his fight with Max Holloway, right now I can say that in the featherweight division there is no fighter the Rank 8 that can beat Volkanovski, for me I will have to wait for Movsar Evloev and Ilia Topuria to have a decent match with Volkanovski and right now the great thing to do is move up a division and get another belt,

Once Volk starts recycling the challengers of 145, there's no other way to go but to 155 and challenge all the killers there.

Anyway, can you check my lottery ticket and critique it?  Would really appreciate it if somebody tells me what I'm doing wrong.  Thanks.  Smiley

^  Felder is really a tough guy and I think he was ranked at the time him and RDA fought then he retired and was removed from the rankings to be a commentator full time.  Could be wrong but it would be nice if somebody looked into it.

Anyway he have another greasy event for betting.  Even more so that the last event imo.  I could see 6 underdogs winning it but chose 4 for my degen parlay.

Salikhov - Lemos at 2.00
Add:  Burgos - Ortega at 4.92
Add:  Jacoby - Grant - Algeo at 21.92
Add:  Ducote - Murphy - Schnell at 284.38
Add:  Simon - Lungiambula at 1971.01

What do you guys think of Salikhov vs Li?  It now feels iffy putting him in my top ticket but felt confident enough to put him there when I made the bets.  :/

^  I remember there was a time when McGregor was still doing well at 145, he was somewhat all praise for Khabib who was just a prospect at the time.  He even predicted that Khabib would become a champ at 155 one day, which he did.  But little did we know it was going to be those two having a bitter rivalry.  And that's an understatement.  It's an all out war between those two camps until now.

Anyway here are a couple of events outside the UFC that could be worth keeping an eye on.

it was easily a 1-2 for Ferrari but sadly Sainz got some problems.

Have you seen the Haas? they were using the new version of the Ferrari Hybrid engine and they were so fast! Ferrari will use it soon aswell

Yup!  Schumacher at 6th?  I think that's the highest finish he's ever had since he joined Haas or F1 for that matter.  And two spots above Magnussen too.  Smiley  Can't wait to see more in a couple of weeks.

And when do you think is Ferrari using the new version of those power units.  I think from a fan perspective, use it asap!  Verstappen seems so relaxed rn.  I wanna see Leclerc win three straight races and make the driver's championship close...  That way we'll see Verstappen back in villain mode like he did vs Hamilton.  Grin

Manchester United are doing all they can to finalize the Frenkie de Jong deal for themselves. They agreed upon the transfer fee as far as I know and they were discussing the add-ons after that. They might really be close to happy ending now. Laporta said before that Frenkie de Jong was still happy to be part of the team. However he doesn't seem like he is opposing to this transfer too. Barcelona are going to have much work to do in case they sell him. On the other hand this transfer is going to help them raise funds significantly too of course.
This Frankie de Jong deal has dragged on for sooo longggg and I don't this transfer will be happening,  whatever happened at Manchester that such deals take this long... its either the scouts aren't doing a good job or it's the fans that keep speculating on such transfers which aren't anywhere from being signed.
De Jong transfer process is very complicated, Manchester United as the party who wants to bring De Jong has not been able to reach an agreement with Barcelona. Manchester United reasoned that Barcelona's asking price was too high, in my opinion it was reasonable, because De Jong's contribution to Barcelona was very good. Another reason is because Barcelona still wants to continue his togetherness with De Jong, he also doesn't want to leave Barcelona in the near future. Manchester United must immediately look for other players as an alternative to De Jong, because their efforts with Barcelona have been deadlocked.

But some rumors are swirling around that United has talked to the Barca brass and has agreed terms.  There was even a write up somewhere that De Jong was disgusted with the move.  Not sure if true or if football journos just want more engagement by sensationalizing the whole thing.  Lol.

Anyway some early signs that it could be another season of pain for United under their new manager...  Ten Hag made Maguire the captain to the fans' dismay.  The dressing room wasn't happy too as they've been pushing for De Gea to be their captain.

will pay and join this week  Smiley
best and worst signings you ask? I think Kalvin Phillips will be a flop. He's the most overrated english player right now imo, paying almost 50M for him is a daylight robbery... best sigining, Haaland. He'll prolly score like 30+ goals or something if he can stay injury free (big if).

Yup, same gut feeling here.  He's gonna be something like the Nathan Ake signing from Bournemouth.  I think Ake's transfer fee was over 40m GBP?  Could be wrong.  But yeah...

Another great move that Man City did was extend Rodri's contract.  That guy is the unsung hero of the club.  Very underrated player imho.  And what do you mean by 'big if'.  Is Haaland prone to injuries?  I think it's still too early to say he's injury prone.  He's still so young.

^  Burgos vs Jourdain will def be a banger.  Both are strikers.  Shane Burgos is better and he fought better competition but Jourdain is on the rise and getting better too.  Big test for Jourdain.  And there's also Simon vs Jack Shore...  Both are wrestlers but this is gonna be high level grappling imho but Simon can crack.  Another one would've been Algeo vs Quarantillo if it wasn't cancelled.  Both fighters have similar styles and with good cardio.

Soriano vs Lungiambula could be a banger too but both guys looking bad lately.
2434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Sentiment Poll for July on: July 10, 2022, 03:37:58 PM
Once Bitcoin will not fall below $18,000. It's impossible for Ethereum to drop below $900 or worst $800.
At the start of July, Bitcoin and Ethereum went good first weekly candle of July is good for me, Bitcoin is staying already above $20,000 so Ethereum is also the same which is during this kind of market condition, I believe that Ethereum collerate with Bitcoin too close.

Here's the thing...  BTC could very may well drop below 18k.  I think this little bounce we're all seeing rn is just that, a dead cat bounce.  But I could be wrong.  And I find it very hilarious there are a couple of guys in the forum saying dead cat bounces aren't real for BTC.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  I mean wtf?  The market is the market whether it's crypto, stocks or forex.  These things just happen as market participants aka traders react vs each other.
2435  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 10, 2022, 03:26:48 PM
A 2nd retest under 20k is at least 50% likely I think.   If we only test the lows it would be quite calm by comparison to the extremes in prospect, I was expecting worse with this great upset in two main components to dollar.  Its an external shock this time is how I see it as Euro and YEN weakness at the same time and yet the FED raises rates and other events, all adds up

You've been watching these markets for as long as I am to say that's not usually the case.  Here's what happened in the past.  We get dead cat bounces and then sideways action...  Everybody starts thinking it's finally the 'bottom' then out of nowhere a quick sell down lower, hitting the bottom for a slooow recovery up.  But by then a lot of peeps have run out of money or have given up at the most crucial moment.
2436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 10, 2022, 03:15:57 PM
^  Aimann Zahabi's older brother is Firas Zahabi.  The guy runs Tristar Gym who once housed two great fighters, GSP and Rory MacDonald.  He could come up with a game plan to beat a supposed superior fighter in these low level matches imho.

Anyway the next event looks like there's gonna be around three or so good underdog picks at first glance.  It's gonna be another greasy card but the main event will def be great.

Note to self for the next event:  Never ever put a low level match up at the top two tickets of the lottery...  Would've won thhree tickets again if not for the Lawrence pick.  Broke even as I won the top ticket tho...

I think RdA will win the match against Fiziev and that's because of the respect he'd have for RdA and the experience he has to fight 5 rounds and use the energy wisely while being tough through the fight. Both fighters are going all in on their stand up game and not focusing much on ground game. We could witness some fireworks. Cant wait. Cheesy

Fiziev starched RDA.  Cheesy

Happy for Leclerc and so sad for Sainz.  It would've def been a Ferrari 1 - 2 if not for the power unit blow up of Sainz's car.  But it seem like something clicked with the Ferrari cars this race.  They had the pace and the pits were well timed.  Over all still a good result.  I can't wait for the next one and see how Red Bull reacts.

A couple more result like this for Ferrari and it's going to be another great season.

^  Oh...  Fiziev vs RDA and after seeing what went on for the whole 5 rounds with Adesanya vs Cannonier?  Definitely!  Fiziev is really good at striking, I think he has decent wrestling defense but it hasn't really been tested yet.  RDA will test him.  Test his wrestling defense and his cardio.  Omg can't wait!  It's gonna be a great main event.  I've been backing Fiziev since his win vs Marc Diakiese.  But I have a feeling RDA could derail the hype train.  We'll see.

The starting two laps of the sprint rwce was nice with Leclerc and Sainz going at it vs Verstappen but then at the second lap it then proceeded to be a battle for P2 between two team mates which was hilarious to see cos we know Leclerc is mad af after Silverstone.  Cheesy

I think Leclerc will really start to fight for every inch of the remaining races, be it vs Verstappen, Perez or even vs Sainz.  His season has finally now really started.  I hope he wins a couple of races and gets closer in points with Verstappen.  That would makes things a lot more interesting.

I am pretty sure we will go sideways for most of July. Even the stock market is looking pretty boring right now. Very little volatility.

Most people are enjoying the summer and not in front of a computer trading. I think September is when the real fun will start with stocks and crypto.

Exactly! July and August will be boring with little volatility. Stocks will be rising again probably in September and will drag crypto with them. The tide lifts all boats!

Are you following the market tho?  It's really not boring rn esp altcoins.  And from a TA perspective it looks like the bottom is in but from a macro perspective everything looks like it's all going to shit sooner or later.  So I guess go long with the bounce and see where it takes us.  I'm looking at 28k to be the resistance for this run.  Dunno..  I could be wrong.
