2441  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2 week target $160 on: April 01, 2015, 07:02:26 PM
I freaking hope it goes farther I want sub $100 btc.
2442  Economy / Speculation / Re: Humans aren't rational. Bitcoin won't be a % of world economy, but a multiple. on: April 01, 2015, 07:00:55 PM
I'm with Stephen Hawking on this: aliens from outer space will try to exterminate the human race, they won't be interested in human technology at all. If any sufficiently advanced aliens were to discover earth, they will come and take everything we have and we will meet a horrible end.

Anyway, that's my belief. If it happens, bitcoins will be the least of my worries.

Disagree 100%  look at our animal rights groups.  Any species capable of traveling the galaxy would have those that are interested in preserving all life.  Probably massive pentalies for wiping out life.. wiping out intellegent life.. perhaps death to those that are immortal that would make you think twice.

2443  Economy / Speculation / Re: averaging down on: March 31, 2015, 07:35:13 PM
I have been buying all the way down to bring down my average buy price.

Right now is probably a decent idea, I am debating doing it myself.
2444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you fools pathetic - or what? on: March 31, 2015, 02:56:39 PM
The bankers told their pigs to decimate anyone involved in Bitcoin.

Becareful.
2445  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the upcoming crash will be huge. on: March 31, 2015, 01:06:44 PM
There has been talk of this epic dump for months.

I agree with this.

I am still leaning to sub $100 but this "EPIC CRASH" has been coming since December.. tomorrow is april.
2446  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoins lack of interest, lack of traction on: March 31, 2015, 12:56:26 PM
Ahh we are finally starting to get into the dispare phase..  Starting not there yet boys.

Sub $100 before any real uptrend begins.
2447  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: antminer s1 buy on: March 31, 2015, 12:55:07 PM
Why not an S3.. it is still profitable.

He said it in the OP, he doesn't have enough money for anything more....

An S3 is $150..

Although I guess you should be able to find an S1 for $50.

IMO the best bet by far for a cheaper miner is to get the "New Rbox" from rock miner.  If your computer PS is good enough you can just use one of the spare 6 pin molex connectors to power the unit and your comp.  That is what I am doing.

I believe it is 250 mBTC for one INCLUDING shipping.  170mBTC no shipping.
2448  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: antminer s1 buy on: March 30, 2015, 08:04:05 PM
Why not an S3.. it is still profitable.
2449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is this possible on: March 30, 2015, 04:56:59 PM
Never use a online wallet Cool

THis except for your "spending" BTC.

My main storing wallet was created on a harddrive that has never been connected to the interenet.
2450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help me debate an economist on Bitcoin! on: March 30, 2015, 04:53:49 PM

How is bitcoin a smart contract?  Contracts are legal agreements.  Ultimately laws enforce contracts

Decentralise deschmentalize.  Who gives a shit when its wasteful and inefficient

Why the hell would someone convert USD to bitcoin to make a purchase.  Then the vendor has to convert it back to USD to pay his suppliers.  Extra uneeded steps when you can use credit card, cash, paypal, opaypor whatever

This sounds like the guy going on about how he has to maintain his car, fuel his car and how a horse is just so much better than a car.
2451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Swedish exchange want protect his clients ... the swedish tribunal court don't. on: March 30, 2015, 03:44:33 PM
Oooh the pigs are such pigs.
2452  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fundy's so good, technicals so poor on: March 26, 2015, 01:19:26 PM
Those investors will want to get BTC at this price or lower before pumping it.
2453  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Official CaVirtex.com Thread on: March 25, 2015, 08:04:44 PM
Well they should be able to freeze if you use TOR, seems fair

Get out and don't come back.
Hey, I don't use tor for my exchanging and its perfectly fine. Probably 99% of all hackers use some sort of proxy or tor. Also you cut out the rest of my statement saying its fair if they want to protect hackers. I would rather spend 5 seconds on 2fa instead of having all btc emptied from an account.

My specific objection:

Well they should be able to freeze

No, nobody should be able to freeze your funds, let alone because you choose to use TOR.

Nubbins!!

I 100000000% agree.
2454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why did darkcoin jump up so much? on: March 23, 2015, 06:23:50 PM
Any reasons?
You deserve a serious answer, which I didn't see in this thread.

1) Darkcoin is rebranding this week to Dash (digital cash), which removes a lot of negative connotations. This is having an effect. Many investors that had stayed away because of the name, but who respect the technology are now willing to invest. There is also a lot of merchants that have stayed away for the same reasons that anecdotal evidence suggests will be much more receptive to adoption.

2) The coin got a lot of attention in the last week on a Let's Talk Bitcoin episode devoted to Darkcoin in which they interviewed the lead developer. It really highlighted to a lot of new people just how advanced the coin has become and the development roadmap ahead. https://soundcloud.com/mindtomatter/ltb-e196-distortions-towards-privacy-or-many-hands-makes-light-work

3) New version coming out (on testnet now) that introduces the new branding, new UI, and "blinding" functionality that will drastically improve anonymity.

4) Many other theories (like the Evolution theft being converted to Darkcoin), but I doubt these rumors.

5) Just by making it to the point that it's on Litecoin's doorstep for the #2 spot has a lot of new people researching the coin (like yourself) and that feeds off itself. The more that investigate, the more that invest, the more the price increases. Repeat.

To me, these are the main reasons.

Sweet thanks!!
2455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why did darkcoin jump up so much? on: March 23, 2015, 06:16:30 PM
Because Darkcoin is the master race of cryptocurrencies. icebreaker, you're as clueless as the guys claiming Bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme. Troll harder.

I've owned Dark since it was 70 cents, made a nice profit when it hit $8.00.  I still like the idea of darkcoin (the anonimity) was just curious to why the sudden spike.

It seems just a name change and this sudden media hype about it being a ponzi.....
2456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why did darkcoin jump up so much? on: March 23, 2015, 02:19:34 PM
I still don't see how darkcoin falls into a ponzi scheme...
2457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why did darkcoin jump up so much? on: March 23, 2015, 02:13:30 PM
Because stupid money follows p&d groups.

There must of been some news to pump it though...

Perhaps the situation in Ukraine?
2458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why did darkcoin jump up so much? on: March 23, 2015, 01:56:19 PM

2460  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is not "it" on: March 10, 2015, 01:31:13 PM
sooner or later all trend lines will get shattered.
