2441  Economy / Exchanges / Re: POLONIEX - NO WITHDRAWALS, TAKE CARE on: May 13, 2017, 01:27:20 AM
New day and new withdrawal. I withdrew my BCY that is a counterparty asset. again for $7000.  Poloniex in past had lots of problems with counterparty asset. Also since counterparty base on Bitcoin blockchain it also share bitcoins mempool problem.

Got my BCY in my wallet only after 1 hour.

Seems lots of FUD just because people have no patience

Yes i also received my litecoins man after 36 hours.

Still pissed me off a bit because nowhere do they say that your withdrawals might be withheld for so long.

There should be a big notice when withdrawing to let users know, so they don't fuck shit up like send the money to a timed wallet and lose everything...
You must give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they were very busy and had no time to notify you about the possible delay, also it could be possible they are investigating most withdrawals to avoid hackers to empty accounts that don’t belong to them.
2442  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think Bitcoin will reach $1500? on: May 13, 2017, 01:16:04 AM
this now bitcoin price still up trend
and unstopable, bitcoin price can still run incraese to reach 2000 dollar/bitcoin

Yes I agree, this is a trend that cannot be stopped, the performance of the bitcoin has crossed the line normally, old user bitcoin hold and new users buy bitcoin while limited stock so that prices are not controlled.
This is a mistake, trends change all the time, bitcoin is in a good trend but that could change any minute if bad news come to us and people believe it, so it is always a good idea to be ready for whatever it may happen to bitcoin.
2443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins price can be manipulate? on: May 13, 2017, 01:12:47 AM
Yes, alt coins can be manipulated, specially if their daily volume is small. That is why you see sometimes a coin jumping 100%-500% in a day.
Yea, especially the new altcoins and small volume transaction daily, but for the old altcoins that has large of marketcap
will be difficult for be manipulated by bagholder,
the altcoins that can be manipulated are dangerous for investments into there, it can be scam altcoins will be good for choose
the altcoins that has large capitalization marketcap.

new altcoin aren't manipulated thye have no value, and they are simply pumped, because investors at the beginning need to see where there is the bottom with miners dumping, so they let the dump happena nd then try to put a wall, it's different than a coin which is truly manipulated
But that is exactly what manipulation means if the price does not move organically and instead the price moves because of the tactics of whoever that tries to get some advantage out of it then it means the coins is being manipulated.
2444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Reason Bitcoin will always be #1 on: May 13, 2017, 01:05:01 AM
And I'm not sure that bitcoin will always be a leader. Bitcoin has a big problem - unconfirmed transactions. And if this problem remains unresolved, bitcoin will lose popularity. There will be other alternative coins to be used
While that is a problem you must not forget there is already a solution the only problem is that nothing has been approved yet but as soon as that happens the problem will go away and when that happens bitcoin will go even higher than it is now.
2445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What was the value of 1 Bitcoin when you first mined/purchased? on: May 13, 2017, 01:01:22 AM
If I can remember I entered the amount of 1 bitcoin is already at $400 and I really considered that very high but right now the price is truly high. I wish that I was one of those people that mined when the difficulty is still not that high and the price was still on a single digit value. For sure those people are already rich now.
Not necessarily, if you bought at 10 then the temptation to sell when the price was 50 would have been too much to bear, so I think unless the person was completely convinced about bitcoin, then many took the opportunity and sold when they had the chance.
2446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to give "day trading" a go, question is where? on: May 12, 2017, 01:29:05 AM
Hello everyone,

I thought of giving day trading a go, I do have a limit of funds to invest into this project, and it's XXXX, I am also aware that I CAN and WILL most likely loose funds doing this, but I am doing this for "fun" and my limit or spendings on this project is not making me homeless nor is it going to make me cry, if I do end up loosing.

I just wanted to know, what kind of platform everyone is using for day trading, or trading in general, which site should I avoid, give me your best suggestions :-)

Thank you!
You already received some good advice about where to begin to trade but one of the most important things is to not get carried away and try to trade just to trade, trade when you see an opportunity to make money, if you don’t see it then wait, the markets are not going to disappear.
2447  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lose all your capital fast, with MatTheCat and his TA 101A! on: May 12, 2017, 01:26:50 AM
You need to literally be a complete fucking fool to buy right now.

Whoever bought down at 1300 is looking pretty smart right now.
I think that whoever bought at that price took a big risk and more than being smart they were lucky, at the time that was close or the all time high and we had no confirmation bitcoin will still go up, so the danger comes from the fact that whoever bought at that price gets greedy and don’t cash out and materialize their profits because we know the price is going to crash.
2448  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you have an idea to invest your bitcoin in offline business? on: May 12, 2017, 01:20:56 AM
We should all go and look for business as options. I have already put up a business myself I have said. Believed me, its worth to invest your hard earn bitcoin to any business you want to put up with. I was struggling to put additional cash on my business but since I have found bitcoin, I used my earnings here as cash flow on my business and I'm very happy with the result I'm getting. So I advise everyone, if we have an any idea that you want to, go on and pursue it because we may never know, one day you will become financially stable with your business and your bitcoin earnings as a sideline for more income.
A real business can bring a very good income, and thus there will be no risk of loss. Of course, only the sphere of activity is necessary. I would like to invest in real estate. Today it is very relevant.
Creating a business can without a doubt generate income but you must not forget that as easily as a business can generate income it can also lose a lot of money very quickly too that is why you see lots of businesses declaring bankruptcy on their first year of operation.
2449  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: May 12, 2017, 01:16:40 AM
If you want a steady income go find some work that will give you salary. Expecting steady income without a risk in investment is too good to be true, every investment has it's risk. If this is too easy for everybody, everyone will be rich by now.
Thw best way to get steady is surely first to get a job and then save as much as possible. After that invest in bitcoins there is a slight risk but upto 40% return per year or just deposit in your bank and get 6% pa.
Also, the interest rates you get in a bank is so low that when you take into account inflation you may end up losing money so it is way better to invest in bitcoin than to invest your money in a savings account, just look at how much money you could have made in the past few weeks.

Indeed investing with bitcoin is certainly very profitable if we compare with the investment in the bank.
But we know at this time that no party is fully responsible for bitcoin, and if there is a problem with the bitcoin or the site we are investing in, what steps should we take to get a settlement and can this matter be done with the applicable legal process?

There are some trade off when it comes to bitcoin obviously since bitcoin is not backed by a government then if you lose your money then it is lost for good, that is why you see so many scams going on, but even with all these risk if you take the right precaution bitcoin is the best investment option.
2450  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex.com is a scam on: May 10, 2017, 02:42:14 AM
Google Poloniex lawsuit. Tons of insider trading, bots, other unfair practices. They're robbing us blind. Remember there are no regulations on these exchanges, so ignore this warning at your own risk.
It will be nice that instead of just your word you offered proof or evidence about it if you have any, in this forum without that no one will take you very seriously, besides it is not like you need to open an account with them you could always use another exchange or forget about trading.
2451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins price can be manipulate? on: May 10, 2017, 02:39:25 AM
They can be manipulated just like any market. JP Morgan made his bones cornering the silver market once upon a time, altcoins are just the latest and greatest variant on one of the oldest games in finance.
JP Morgan was a financial genius he tried to corner almost any market in which he was in, he was successful in the railroads but failed miserably when he tried to do the same in the sea and the sinking of the RMS Titanic proved to be fatal to his business at the sea.
2452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Reason Bitcoin will always be #1 on: May 10, 2017, 02:34:44 AM
Bitcoin is no 1 digital currency at a moment and I don't see any competition to it right now but there is no guarantee that bitcoin will maintain its position even in future as it may also get disappeared or get replaced by some other currency in future.
There is no guarantee but bitcoin still has a great advantage over any coin and one of them is simply the attention of the media, lots of altcoins are in a rally too, but the only coin that gets any attention of the media is bitcoin, and of the people that know about the existence of cryptocurrencies, the first coin that will come to mind is bitcoin.
2453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What was the value of 1 Bitcoin when you first mined/purchased? on: May 10, 2017, 02:29:55 AM
$ 260 but every minute you're staying to think: why I did not sell my car and my home to invest there Smiley
Because for that you will need guts, I remember reading that back in the day someone asked for a loan and used the money to buy bitcoin when it was really cheap, then bitcoin gained a lot of value and he could repay the loan immediately, so that has happened I'm sure.
2454  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think Bitcoin will reach $1500? on: May 10, 2017, 02:27:59 AM

I just did a few days ago, now I think the new target is that $2,000. Like I've always said before, I don't think it will reach it, but bitcoin always surprises me whenever it breaks the resistances. Now I think we'll definitely be stabilizing here, though there might be corrections but it will just climb back here when it does.
Bitcoin does not show any signs of slowing down, to be honest I thought bitcoin would have gone down in value by now but it seems to try to do everything in its power to keep growing in price so the 2000 dollars for every bitcoin don’t seem that far away.
Indeed, as of now bitcoin is still increasing and I think its not far from bitcoin to reach $ 2000. Bitcoin has already reach the $1500 and yet its already exceed that amount. As of now the price of bitcoin is $ 1600+.
Now there has come a very difficult moment and a crucial hour, because after a sharp rise in prices and strangely enough, there will always be a collapse on the stock exchange. I do not want to of course predict such a collapse, but I think it can not be avoided.

It may occur, because bitcoin fluctuation is real and speculating that the price is going up to the $2000 is up ahead and yeah some fluctuations may occur in pulling down the value but I think it is just a slight movement down, but bitcoin is steadily gonna go up for sure and the $2000 mark value is the most expected value people in the forum are likely we can get!

I guess all those who earn bitcoin are going to be richer than ever. I have been keeping my BTc for awhile all because I'm confuse where to invest it and all awhile keeping it is the best thing I did. If its going to be $2000 before the year end, I will have the money to celebrate this xmas.

That price is likely to achieve in the end of the year so the best thing we can do is to collect as many bitcoins as possible and save them till the end of the year and if bitcoin achieves the price of $2000 in this year then that would be the best time to sell our bitcoins to earn huge profits.
At the beginning of this year I though that for bitcoin to reach that amount of money I thought we will need several years but bitcoin does not seem to slow down its meteoric rise, I wonder, how much higher bitcoin will go in the next years?
2455  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you have an idea to invest your bitcoin in offline business? on: May 04, 2017, 02:17:14 AM
As I know most bitcoin users still focus on online business like trading, faucets and online store. If you have enough bitcoin would you invest your bitcoin in offline business like aggricultural Industry, Culinary or may be tourism Industry?

Bitcoin will be known by a lot of people if most bitcoin users use the bitcoin to do offline business. You can use your bitcoin for funding or payment. When your government prohibit bitcoin you can use bitcoin as funding option. I think if you can make sustainable and profitable offilne business there will be a lot of investors from bitcoin comunity who want to take a part in your businsess. Do you think this idea is possible?

There are not really a lot of options to make any kind of investments offline, since bitcoin is mostly an online currency and many people don’t know much about it, and when the amount of money we can make with bitcoin is so high that I doubt there is much interest in offline businesses.

2457  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Prediction 2017 on: May 04, 2017, 02:02:53 AM
A slower rise is better although i feel the rise after december, februari and now in march is taking off in the right direction.
At this point we should enjoy the ride because until 2020 we are in for a bumpy yet profitable ride.
I wouldn't call this recent price gains slow. Or if you think that 5% raise daily is slow then it is fine by me.

We need to realize that  Bitcoin trading volume composition has changed - USD or CNY are no longer top traded currencies.
Japanese yen is the most traded currency, but what will happen when Japanese traders will got bored of bitcoin?
If they get bored then the price is going to get lower, but as you said I doubt that anyone is going to get bored earning 5% daily by not doing much so I’m pretty sure they are very happy about the current events and their current earnings.
2458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good idea to start a new Indian Altcoin? on: May 03, 2017, 02:14:32 AM
Hello everyone!

I'm new to the altcoin realm so please excuse me for being an idiot  Smiley

I just wanted your opinion on whether it would be a good idea to start an ALTCOIN based on India. Our government is relaxing its policies on digital currencies so I was wondering whether I could start such a coin.

Thanks in advance!
There is not an absolute answer to this starting a coin is the easy part giving it support and development for years to come is the hard part since at the beginning it is unlikely it is going to be a successful project right away and you will need time to make the project a success.
2459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins price can be manipulate? on: May 03, 2017, 02:12:37 AM
Is it true, Altcoins price can be manipulate?
I see so many peoples in any Ann thread of altcoins ask for pump and dump. I just don't understand, is this how cryptocurrencies works? While forex trading market move by good news or bad news in around the world.
If Dev or big holders can easy manipulate the price of some altcoins, I think it's not interesting anymore.
Yes the altcoins price can be manipulate especially the new altcoins on announcement section,
because it is new coins and needs pump and dump to take investors (traders) but for the altcoins that has large capitalization of price, it will be difficult because of the developers of coins and bag holder must has large of money to di it, the old altcoins move the the price by good news or bad news too.
It depends what we mean by manipulation, since something like stocks also move with good and bad news, so it is not surprising that something like crypto currencies are affected by such news in fact is the most natural thing in the world.
2460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Reason Bitcoin will always be #1 on: May 03, 2017, 02:10:34 AM
Haha, it is true that BTC is the best name for any cryptocurrency so far. The strange names like Ether and Ripple sound very high-tech and not related to money at all.
A rose by any other name would smell as sweet, the name of bitcoin is irrelevant as long as it was not something offensive any name would have been good enough, the important thing is the technology behind it and the support given by the community.
