1461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: December 30, 2017, 07:03:33 PM
It is just because there are still countries where there is no stable internet connection, even electricity. They just don't need BTC on their stage of public evolution
That is not a reason in fact we have not heard a lot from countries that are very poor, most of the time we are hearing news from countries that are very rich, bitcoin has been accepted by japan and there are some countries that are undecided, and the reason of being undecided is that they know they cannot accept bitcoin as a currency because if they did they will be recognizing that we do not need governments to print our currency for us.
1462  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: December 30, 2017, 03:25:27 AM
Obviously, the most important thing about bitcoin is the price, and i am not the only one who is saying this, if the price wasn't low at the moment, everybody would be talking good about bitcoin, but with the current congestion of the blockchain + the price, it is a mess.

I disagree, the price is important no one can deny that but to think it is the most important thing is a mistake, the most important thing about bitcoin is bitcoin and the technology behind it, without that the price of bitcoin will not be as high, the price is based on the underlying technology, the price is that high despite the congestion in the network and the high fees, when that gets solved the price is going to skyrocket once again.
1463  Economy / Economics / Re: short term investment or long term invesetment on: December 30, 2017, 02:19:47 AM
I am sure that long term investment is the best option but we still could do short term investment. for example, we buy A coins and we want to hold at least one month and after one month, we see the price increase so high. and if we sell in that time, we can make a profit and if we can wait a long time, then our profit is bigger. but as we don't know what will happen in the future, I think we can sell it for small until the middle amount to take our profit first and then we can keep the rest of the amount.
One strategy you can try is to have 80% of your investment in long term investment and the rest in short term investing try both for a long period of time like a year and compare your profits, if you get more profits with long term investing then stop trading and move all your money to long term investing but if you are able to generate more profits with your trades then move all your money to short term investing.
1464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Make Money in Crypto on: December 30, 2017, 01:18:22 AM
Hi. The fastest way is trading ( but you can loose it all by getting scammed or make a bad trade). Buy bitcoin, exchange for altcoin and hope it rises. You can also do ICOs (if you do your research)

Cheers
That is the fastest way but that does not mean that everyone is looking for earning bitcoin as fast as they can, trading is one of those activities that can generate a lot of money but that is risky, so I think one of the best ways to make money is to simply offer your products and services in forums like these, at first you are not going to earn much but if you are good at what you do the money will start flowing.
1465  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which one to buy? Stocks Houses Gold or Bitcoin or Bonds? on: December 29, 2017, 08:53:12 PM
I am a fan of diversified plan. But if I had to choose one, I will go with bitcoin. I think housing market is a bubble ready to burst. Gold is pretty but of no use to me and stock market needs experience. Moreover, the brightest future is of bitcoin. Bitcoin to go.
If you think the housing bubble is about to burst in your country then take advantage of that opportunity, be ready and have a lot of money stored away and buy when properties prices hit rick bottom if you do you could acquire a lot of properties that you could not get otherwise also even if you do not have a lot of use for gold it is a good idea to have some just in case.
1466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: x10 returns quickly on: December 29, 2017, 06:35:42 PM
Hey guys was wondering what are the chances of hitting x 10 returns with lower valued altcoins and is it possible to be done in a short time frame Huh?
When you really begin to trade then you are going to find out that while getting 10x in a short amount of time is possible it is one of those things that are a lot harder to do than what you may expect, people have all kind of wild dreams but believe me getting 1% daily is difficult enough and you think you can get 10x in just a matter of weeks and months? Not going to happen unless you take huge risks.
1467  Economy / Economics / Re: do you think bitcoin is controversial ? on: December 29, 2017, 02:57:58 AM
I think the bitcoin dispute is normal, a new thing in the process of development, always accompanied by improvement and change. There are some shortcomings of the bitcoin, which is often used by illegal people. But this is not a problem unique to bitcoin. As bitcoins are often paid by drug dealers and ammunition, can they not be able to deal without bitcoins? I believe one of the biggest reason bitcoin is, its not like currency devaluation.
I wonder what politicians are thinking, they know that their arguments against bitcoin are bogus and do not hold any ground but they cannot let bitcoin to take hold among the average person, that is why they keep spreading a bunch of lies about the people that use bitcoin and of course since we are users of bitcoin I do not like the idea of being branded as a bad person just because I use bitcoin.
1468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum on: December 29, 2017, 12:41:19 AM
If you have more than enough money to invest, i'd say go for bitcoin. Because in the long run, it's possibilities are endless. But on the other hand, ethereum is also a good investment. More were into ethereum because of it's cheaper price, easy to transact, low fees. It will be a win-win scenario for you if you invest on both, bitcoin and ethereum.
But the issue is that investing in both of those coins requires even more money than investing in one so the issue is in which one to invest and to me it is obvious the best choose will always be bitcoin, Ethereum is a decent coin but the banning of icos in china and in other places and the coming regulations are going to slow down ethereum and bitcoin in the other hand is unaffected by it.
1469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ate you going to spend or save you bitcoin? on: December 28, 2017, 09:20:33 PM
My strategy is to HODL 50% of my investment in bitcoin for the long term. no matter what.
The other 50% i'm investing in alt coins, where I will HODL some for the long term if I see real potential and others I will buy and sell for quick profits.
Profits are used to increase bitcoin position or long term alt position.
That is a good strategy just do not forget to have an exit strategy, how long are you going to hold your bitcoin? And at what price you are willing to sell some of your stash, that way by having a very clear plan of what you want to do, you will not be taken by surprise when some of those scenarios happen, I have a price in my head and when bitcoin reaches that price I'm going to sell half of my bitcoin and then I have an even bigger price and when that happens I will sell all my bitcoin and never look back.
1470  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: December 28, 2017, 07:55:35 PM
It is a good idea, if the society does not have cash, we only use the digital currency  managed by the goverments, the society will reduce the plunder situation, .. all the transactions are recorded and will be no cheating in the business. I think it is very difficult to do this because many people still do not know how to use smart phones and other technologies.
What you are talking about is precisely what bitcoin is trying to avoid, it is true that everything is recorded in the blockchain, but you are not required to reveal your identity if you do not want, and you can use bitcoin as a way to move your money without having to go through the fiat system, this is why governments are against it since bitcoin reduces the control they have over their citizens.
1471  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: December 28, 2017, 06:36:09 PM
You need to buy bitcoin now because it has low value right now. the best tips in buying bitcoin is monitoring its value. If you want to earn make some monitoring to you to be guided when is the best time to buy bitcoin.
The price has been falling, but do you think it is right time to invest? Why I’m saying this is because we are in the last month of the year and this year just have like a week to end, so I believe what every investor is doing now is withdrawing and getting ready for next year. Anyone who invests at this time takes risk of losing their money. It’s better not to invest now and wait till next, cause there is no good reason to invest.

Unless your not into day trading, it is still best to buy bitcoin for a long-term investment. The price will always be corrected, but it will also be pumping back, as long as we have patience we will not lose money.
It's okay to buy bitcoin for long term and for short term, you just have to manage it differently but with long term investment it's not more
stressful compare to short term where you want to be a day trader, if you are a day trader, you need to focus well so you will have the success, the market
is so volatile so you have a chance to trade regularly but you also need to update yourself with the latest information as that would help.
Depending on your investment strategy you will have to follow different strategies, if you plan to buy bitcoin but hold only for the short term then you need to find a dip and buy as cheaply as possible that way you maximize your profits, now if you are planning to hold for the long term then you do not need to worry about anything like that just buy and hold for several years.
1472  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Buying Bitcoin at $10K? on: December 28, 2017, 05:27:03 AM
Bitcoin price is huge now.But I still buy Bitcoin because I think that its price will grow day by day.I know that there are many people wait now for dropping its price.
You are right it is very good to have bitcoin even if at price of 10k, it is not late right now because I think it will not stop increasing in price and will go very high. Not only today but from long time people are trusting bitcoin and they are having high price of bitcoin when they feel any need to sell bitcoin. It is not a bad price for bitcoin to get 10k and till end of this session bitcoin will reach 20k it will be high then.

When I said I wanted to buy bitcoins at $12k price, people told me not to buy it. They told there will be a correction wave in bitcoin. But they were all wrong in it. The price almost reached $20k now.
This is why it is important to follow our own thoughts if there is something worst than making a mistake is to make someone else mistakes, if you decided to not invest then you lost a lot of money and I'm sure those people that gave you the advice to not invest in bitcoin are not going to take responsibility for all the money they cost you and are not going to repay you so it is better to not listen to them ever again.
1473  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: December 27, 2017, 10:40:31 PM
Both are good and which one you choose will depend on who you are and what you prefer, trading is great for those that like to take risks and like to be on top of things all day everyday, investing is for those that prefer a more passive style and that prefer to hold for the long term, the only problem with this strategy is that you need to choose the right coin because if you do not you could lose all your money.
Investment also involves risk, if we can not find the right investment, we can lose all of our money. For this reason, the risk of investment is more than trading. In trading, my money never gets zero, and if we wait a bit, we get even a profit.

All investments have an element of risk attached to them, the only thing we need to ask ourselves is if if we are fine with the risks we are taking. Many people invest in altcoins not realizing the huge risks they are taking, if people think that bitcoin moves a lot they have seen nothing when it comes to altcoins especially those with a low market cap, I have seen a coin moving 1000% in a single day and then crash just as much the next day.
1474  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Will Change Everything on: December 27, 2017, 09:26:37 PM
We are entering in the new type of economy where price predictions are not possible any more because productivity and prosperity of humanity will rise to the new golden age level. Bitcoin will go to 1 million dollars in 2018 and is being used by central banks as a global stardard ledger - dollar will fade slowly those who buy now will become the new wealthy elite.
Bitcoin has the potential to change everything but that does not mean that it is going to happen, governments can take a lot of actions that will limit the growth of bitcoin and if they do it then bitcoin is not going to become as big as we want, also central banks are not going to adopt bitcoin because if they do they will be recognizing their defeat.
To be honest. You guys are totally wrong by saying bitcoin has potential to change everything because it not possible but bitcoin does change people financial status which is the reason behind bitcoin creation.
Tell me why bitcoin does not have the potential to change everything? Bitcoin is a currency, people all around the world dedicate a minimum of 8 hours a day to try to get money, people dedicate a third of their lives chasing money and you think that the creation of a new form of currency that does not steal their efforts is not a game changer? Then describe to us what do you consider to be a technology that can chance everything.
1475  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin the next big thing? on: December 27, 2017, 07:53:14 PM
For those who argue that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are the next big things, buying and investing in Bitcoin might just pay off. Bitcoin might excel if currencies like the dollar et al trips under a hyperinflation scenario but that for now is not visibly an option that is available, thus, another fundamental question is wether Bitcoin can replace normal currencies and that again is not feasible in the nearest future. Why then should people invest in or buy a currency that can rise or fall by 20 percent in an hour or two?
Because bitcoin gives you true ownership of your money, the money in your bank account is not yours, you put it there but banks can confiscate it for any reason they may like and sometimes you do not have to do anything wrong in order to lose your money, Cyprus a few years ago confiscated part of the money on the bank accounts of people, and believe me that is going to happen again.
1476  Economy / Speculation / Re: The christmas crash - who can pick the bottom on: December 26, 2017, 02:30:32 AM
better wait, i think it can go back to 6k within a few days
And what makes you think that the price of bitcoin is going to crash that much, the price went down that is true but to expect such a low price some really negative news needs to come and even if that happened I do not know for how long the price will remain that cheap, if we saw such prices I have no doubt that many people in the forum will rush to buy all the bitcoin they can.
1477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: December 26, 2017, 01:24:39 AM
I have heard that bitcoin is not supported in some countries. But why ? Is it because bitcoin is risky ? Some countries even declare 6 months jail if her people use bitcoin. Is it fair ? I mined few cryptos and have left mining. It was fun and challenging too. But I never got any clear answer. What does my gpu actually do ? I pay electric bill, my room temperature goes high and I get paid. With actually no skill on pc hardware and software. Whole thing is still pretty unclear to me

I guess there are still countries who are reluctant about the whole idea of bitcoin because they fear about the outcome for implementing bitcoin in their respective countries. Some countries also sees bitcoin as a threat to their economy and for the people to no longer apply for big companies and factories because they have another means of earning money.
I agree, the states of the countries don't know what they will do with this technology and how this will affect the economy of their country, because it is easier for them to prohibit and not support than to try to introduce something new and find in this positive moments and development

We must understand that any technology that is truly revolutionary tends to bring changes and sometimes those that are in power are not happy about those possible changes but the biggest issue for them is that they do not have a choice when a new technology appears there is no way to make it disappear, so bitcoin is here to stay even if they do not like it.
1478  Economy / Economics / Re: What coin do you believe will be next to bitcoin? on: December 26, 2017, 12:13:49 AM
I believe there isn't any currency already created at this moment that will reach closer to Bitcoin. Only on a really long term Bitcoin will be surpassed, when a new more advanced technology comes and bring something really original and not clones of Bitcoin like currently AltCoins we see for now.

The original can't be replaced by its clones...
I do not know why this can be difficult to understand some people want bitcoin to be surpassed by coins that bring nothing new, some users want bitcoin cash to become the new bitcoin but who is going to take them seriously when bitcoin cash is only a few months old and the bitcoin project has been around for almost a decade, they want all the benefits of being bitcoin without the struggle needed to reach that spot.
1479  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 TRANSFORMATION HAS BEGUN! CSNO TOKENS ADDED! 🎰🎰🎰 on: December 25, 2017, 08:31:49 PM
Why did it drop from 4200 to 2200 btc? USD value went up but btc value got destroyed.
All alts have two points of reference, the dollar or some other fiat currency and bitcoin, the reason a coin goes up in fiat but down in bitcoin has to do with the fact that bitcoin has gone up in value against fiat, you just need to look at the chart of bitcoin in this year to realize that bitcoin has grown a lot and this in return makes alts go down in value in BTC if they cannot keep the rate of growth of bitcoin, however that does not mean that the coin value is not growing, it is just slower than bitcoin, it can be confusing but you are going to get used to it soon enough.
1480  Economy / Economics / Re: short term investment or long term invesetment on: December 25, 2017, 07:16:27 PM
When it comes to the investment, many newcomers or people with frequent requirement find it difficult to invest for longer amount of time. Here by short investment i mean any investment which is less than year old. That investment has been cashed out within a year. And by long term investment I mean investment which will be kept for more than year ( ideally 10 years or so).
What do you think which is more beneficial short term investment or long term investment
In traditional investing there have been many studies that prove that investing for the long term is way better than to invest for the short term, since you pay less in taxes and commissions but the issue in crypto is that all investments are very risky the only coin I'm willing to hold that long is bitcoin, every other coin other than bitcoin is a coin I'm willing to drop if something happens.

I think it is safe to say that when you want a long investment then do bitcoin. If you just want to earn via short term then go along with other altcoins. Right?
Yes that is exactly what I'm doing, bitcoin is the oldest cryptocurrency and unless something unexpected happens bitcoin is going to have value for a lot of time, but when it comes to altcoins you do not know for how long the coin is going to survive, now there are some other altcoins in which you could invest for the long term like ETH and LTC but those are the exception rather than the rule.
