I am not sure you have been hugged by a bear? They do not lose their grip unless they want to  Wink

A bull has the ability to smash a bear hug and body slam them into oblivion. A few more bulls will be killed before thousands of bears are slaughtered.

This right here is probably why the closed down(not trying to rip on you just saying many of us are intense).. minimul profit and the most vicious people on the planet to deal with lol. We are a vicious bunch lol.  Although we need to be half the blood people out there are frauds.

They have stopped withdraws eh... that is bad bad news :S.  VOS never stopped withdraws :S..  I forsure see why you are considering a lawsuit :S.. Perhaps a week to let them move the coins out of cold storage if that is the issue..?

You think someone is shutting down a Free Money Machine because a couple of people on the forums are complaining?

Scroll up and read Havelock's latest replies in this thread, and then tell me they're shutting down because of feelings.

INCOMING AND OUTGOING:
Monthly trading fees: $30,000
Monthly expenses: Huh

Yep, they're definitely making minimal profit...  Roll Eyes

How many employees do they have..  $360k a year.. / 10 =  36K a year..

I didn't mean the forums I ment more so bitcoiners.  Just by nature we are very specific.
2483  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Official CaVirtex.com Thread on: February 19, 2015, 03:44:46 PM
Yes I agree with you. Why didn't they send out a mass email.

Because they're a bunch of fuck-ups, just like the crowd who "sold" Havelock.

Why didn't they ever -- EVER -- fix the calculator on the buy/sell page?

Why didn't they realize their DB was stolen last year when we all started getting .jar emails?

Actual criminal levels of negligence. Seriously considering opening another class-action against these guys, and another against the original Havelock owners.

Shits about to go down in Greece again. I hope everyone is converting all their wealth into Bitcoin as we speak.

Probably fleeing to USD.. when people start fleeing from USD shit will get real.  This WILL happen.

awww this is sad news CAVIRTEX was my #1 goto CAD/BTC exchange for years Sad

They will go down in history as the only bitcoin exchange that didn't run away or lose everyones bitcoin claiming hack.

How many bitcoin exchanges shut down without owing anyone any money? Only CAVIRTEX!

They haven't paid out everyone yet.

A lot of people are still waiting to be sent their BTC, LTC and fiat...

~~~
And I don't trust QuadrigaCX.
I tried two small, but non-dust, BTC deposits with them that never did show up and have heard absolutely nothing from them
after sending them email and support tickets several times.
Was it a microbit...?  Probably has to be worth more than a fraction of a fraction of a penny to show up.
?? Vault of Satoshi paid everyone out....?  Even my buddy that waited until a week left got everything.
Never used Quadriga before but im gonna need to I suppose. TBH.. I dont trust any of these Canadian exchanges. Well that's not entirely true. I do trust CanadianBitcoins. They have a real office where you can go in and complain if something goes wrong. Having that alone puts them at the top for buying or selling btc in canada. I just wish they weren't a fixed rate exchange. Maybe they'll step up here and open a real exchange soon. Lord knows Canada needs one!
Vault of Satoshi had a real address.. I only ever bought my BTC in person.
Apparently Quadrigacx does as well but seeing as it is about 5000KM away I won't be going there anytime soon to see.  I have talked with Quardriga on the phone if that helps ne lol.
2488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who cares if Bitcoin goes mainstream? on: February 17, 2015, 08:31:45 PM
Those who want Bitcoin to "go mainstream" are the get rich quick crowd.
Most debt slaves wouldn't know freedom or responsibility if it smacked them in the face with a pipe wrench. Why do we need them to use Bitcoin again? Exactly, we don't.
They have guns and will kill/torture me if I refuse to use the Fiat their masters give them.
Welcome slaves to our new and beautiful world! Your shackels will be hidden is that not wonderful debt slaves?  Now get back to work to pay off the countries debt or it's waterboarding and anal feedings for you.
2491  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Official CaVirtex.com Thread on: February 17, 2015, 07:05:41 PM
Where does that leave canadians?  Is there some big news coming, forcing Cdn exchanges to shut down? Or just pathetic volume/price?
There is now only quadrigacx.
Anyone using it?
I am, works good.  Only thing I have not tried is withdrawing Fiat.
I have deposited and withdrew BTC and have deposited CAD.
I think just very low volume.
VOS shutdown on low volume / new busniess venture.  Looks like Cavirtex is shutting down due to potential loss of data and not being able to recover it's image :S.
There is now only quadrigacx.
2494  Other / Off-topic / Re: Clash of Clans!! on: February 17, 2015, 06:29:20 PM
2496  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: February 13, 2015, 09:24:27 PM
Use the heat to melt the snow on 3000+ meter high mountains and use the water to drive some hydro power plant. Of course you would need acres and acres of mining farms to achieve that effect and the electricity generated might not be strong enough to drive them
Slight little problem with that is you are trying to create a perpetual machine......
Of course you could just use Hydro electricity created by rivers fed from Arctic snow melt. Just like we do Wink
Here's a nice little video from our sister company about how we power our miners.
Not completely true as he is using the energy of the sun to evaporate the water back into the atmosphere so it will snow back down.  There is an external source of energy in the system, HOWEVER the odds are the water run off from melted snow would not produce much power at all.
2498  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 2 years in prison for not believing in the holocaust on: February 13, 2015, 08:28:54 PM
Denying the holocaust is awful.
But Europe is crazy hypocritical. They were all shouting "Je suis Charlie" last month, which is essentially a free speech chant and then they go and arrest people because they don't like what their free speech is.
Did anyone of the Hewbrew background die?
It is a very interesting quesiton.  Millions that followed the jewish religion died yes but did anyone from "the race of god" die?  You should take a look into what they think of us non hebrew born humans....
2499  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Man pepper sprayed for walking past police on: February 13, 2015, 08:25:18 PM
That was completely uncalled for and she should be held liable for assault. I think the school teacher is going to win this one.
The pigs ALWAYS win, always no matter the situation, they will always be found innocent and you guilty, ALWAYS.
2500  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Man pepper sprayed for walking past police on: February 13, 2015, 08:24:41 PM
That's why women shouldn't be cops... it's always the short ones...
All the cops I Know call police females PW, aka Emotions with power, it is a BAD BAD BAD situation.
