2562  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Any mobile wallet you can sing/verify messages? on: June 19, 2019, 07:39:51 AM
You have Mycelium and also Coinomi. I don't suggest using Coinomi for storing large amounts because of its lack of transparency (not open source) and security exploits it had in the past.

Thank you, those I haven't tried yet. I think I had Mycelium on my old mobile but I don't remember having this option, it was 2 years ago anyway.
Thank you Smiley
2563  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Any mobile wallet you can sing/verify messages? on: June 19, 2019, 07:17:13 AM
As the subject says, is there any mobile wallet supporting this?
I tried Electurm, Sentinel, and some others I  don't remember but without success.
2564  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Announcing BPIP - The Bitcointalk Public Information Project! on: June 18, 2019, 12:30:11 PM
I suggest to prioritize parsing of those accounts who have trust ≠0, so the Turst score list will get back to normal.
I see those who have now 10 trust on the bottom of the top 1000 will be parsed in 80 days.

OK my first and last attempt to make a comics on the topic :

2566  Economy / Reputation / Re: Common Reference link for all the locked self moderated threads. on: June 17, 2019, 04:15:42 PM
Is there a thread as this one already?
I see no activity here, maybe I shall just trash it?

"I am the eye of Satoshi."

I doubt even if he was that bad he would use a computer generated font : Otto -https://www.wfonts.com/font/otto
Write Dave's name and see the outcome.

"Apparently", here is the full and official context of the script, so no need to cite or attack the author or any other crypto related websites that reports it.

https://www.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.flsd.521536/gov.uscourts.flsd.521536.24.0.pdf

The argument was ‘according to court documents Craig committed fraud’ as was the title of the article.

Now show me in these documents where he was convicted of committing fraud.

Edit: Theymos wanting to destroy satoshis Bitcoin has everything to do with this topic because he is literally scared of what Craig Wright will do with those Bitcoins. This is a full on socialist dictatorship.

Do you agree Satoshis Bitcoins should be destroyed?

Do you believe the man who created Bitcoin should loose all his Bitcoins to someone who has no relevance other than censorship to this space?

Looks like Greg Maxwell has nothing better to do then to continue to abuse his superior powers to bend the trust system on this forum.

The community wanted a simple proof to the Craig's claims that he is Satoshi? Why he didn't provide any? It's so simple and easy.. and then attempts to copyright Bitcoins' Whitepaper, without any proof again..

I can just go and copyright the Christmas just because I say I'm Santa. I can prove it by providing a picture of me in a Santa's clothes.
2569  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Upgrade!] So.... on which board did you earn (or spent) most of your (s)Merit? on: June 17, 2019, 09:57:54 AM
Now since you have a new feature (spent merit) I would like to request some stats for me as well Smiley
Seems like you are working 24/7 at the forum, man. Theymos needs to pay you a salary.
Wonder what is your logged in time Wink
2570  Other / Meta / Re: Can we have the Forum Rules as a separate sticky in B&H please! on: June 17, 2019, 09:48:25 AM
I asked for this before but got no support : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4546818.0

Yeah but it's not so easy to spot, we are talking about newbies here, and they don't really like to lurk around and read, which is their problem of course.
But maybe we can prevent a little but of spam by adding the rules on the top.

Well,

2572  Economy / Reputation / Re: Common Reference link for all the locked self moderated threads. on: June 16, 2019, 02:32:12 PM
I took a bit of a break from the forum the days after the new flag system came, now I'm reading around and I didn't found a solution for this problem >https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5153534.msg51486704#msg51486704

That's why I created this thread.

I think it will do the job for those flag that need a reference thread but they don't have Wink

Just give me a link to that post and I'll archive it

I think we can use one common thread (this one) for all the locked and self-mod threads or those don't have a thread but just a post.

Just posts the name of the user you want to flag and a link to the archived thread/post. This should do the job.
I'll update the OP with the name and the link, and try to have list then in alfabetic order.
Here is the format
Code:

Just post here a link to the accusations post and i can add it to the OP.
2579  Other / Meta / Re: Users who Created or Wiped their Trust list - weekly data on: June 16, 2019, 09:48:11 AM
I was not referring to you. Smiley

But to answer your question, if someone received the PM from theymos, they could have wiped their trust list as a protest against being pressured to exclude lauda from their trust list. It would be a way of showing they would rather not participate in the DT system than exclude lauda. <-- this would be how someone could support lauda.

I don't see how it will benefit Lauda in any way, I understand if I have excluded theymos, yeah then I support him/her.
But what you suggest the only negative will be for the community.
2580  Other / Meta / Re: Users who Created or Wiped their Trust list - weekly data on: June 16, 2019, 12:32:31 AM
In the past week, 4 DT1-members have wiped their Trust list. This is probably caused by the drama that followed after theymos introduced Trust flags:
Three of the four DT1 users who wiped their list are closely associated with Lauda, and likely did this to support lauda.

minifrij has previously told me that he doesn't want to be in DT at all:
reference.

[...]I have no real interest in being a part of the DefaultTrust system, but I'm not going to put the energy in to remove myself from it.

How the hell I would support Lauda if I wiped my trust list?
I just deleted my custom trust list in other words I just resigned from my DT position.
This is my way to protest against that political madness happening right now in the forum.

The breaking point was the confrontation between theymos and Lauda which escalated to such level, I guess it's already around meta and the reputation board,  which made me rethink my position in the DTs.
I don't want to choose a side in this case, both parties made mistakes but that was not the way to find solution. Fighting, using the DTs as a weapon and do everything hidden in PMs.

For me everything should be public, especially such confrontations, so I do not agree with both parties.

So people please, for the sake of the community, settle down your problems once and for all.

It's almost 2AM here, and I'm awake only because of this political drama.

P.S. I'll still serve the community one way or another.

For me everything should be public, especially such confrontations, so I do not agree with both parties.

I believe none of them intended this to be non public, since they contacted a huge list of people.

The point being they just wanted to ensure that every recipient had knowledge of that message.

As you can see it quickly became publics and a lot of meta drama is already going on related to this.

This is true but I don't really have time for all the drama, this has to end somehow. I don't really need to read all these explanations why people tagged (now flagged) their long time fighting compadres, trowing shit at each other. I don't really want to choose a side because there you see, someone said one thing. If I have to take a side, I have to decide alone and find and read all those proven facts that someone is this or that. But I don't have time to concentrate on such things, no. Those fights are for years and most likely things are no real evidence of any crimes-accusations.
If I wanted this I would probably have joined a party til now.

I prefer to put my time in something more constructive.
I still think theymos should have created a thread and sent a link to everyone instead of doing everything in PMs. Then Lauda came with his/her message with got me thinking that this is way too much for me and I don't want to be part of it.

I just deleted my custom trust list in other words I just resigned from my DT position.
This is my way to protest against that political madness happening right now in the forum.
You can only resign from DT1, not from DT2.

I hope you'll reconsider in time: DT1 needs users who don't like the "political madness", and I think you're one of them. May I suggest fighting the madness by ignoring it, and continue doing the right thing?

Thank you for your kind words Loyce.
I won't give up on the forum and the community. I continue the same way, no matter if I'm on DT1/DT2 or not. I didn't ask for this power it was given to me by the community, so I hope when things settle down I might join the DT1 again, if I'm still wanted.
