I would like to thank tranthidung for the help with the list. Just a little edit here. Took away Xal0lex because he is already Legendary and added a border to those who have not entered yet in the ranking competition. The list should be updated after the next Friday merit data dump from theymos. - Activity: updated today.
- Total merits: last Friday merit data, at 21feb2020 02:41:29 (forum time)
Close to the required activity for Legendary. Things can change as there are 3 users without a post in the new 2weeks cycle: aundroid , BitCryptex and Piggy. |

Unfortunately not, you can wear an avatar whr you reach Full Member, the Copper Memphis gives you olny the benefits of a Member account. You gonna need a 100 merit to wear avatar, with or without copper membership.
100 Merit is lam3. Been here almost two years, never causing a rukus in my 58 total posts and they took away my image usage, so now my post only shows it's project images because minerjones was kind enough to repost his purchase images, and even if I give up coin I can't wear a simple personal avatar. -zero merit. There you go, now you have your images back, i see you are active on one of my favorite sections. Well i can't help you with the avatar but don't give up on ranking, it's not that hard as it looks like. |

I don't post a lot, so I have no merit - evidently I don't ever do anything merit worthy?, but have been a member for quite a while and had posted my projects in the past with images, but I log in from time to time to read posts but I don't check my old posts to see that nothings been going on.. but when I did I realized that maybe nothing was going on because all my damn images no longer show because the place went paid or something.. but not really.
What the hell, It's not much to pay of course.
I'll go pay and my images will come back - Yay.

It is not true, completely. Technically, the forum updates its database, and then user ranks periodically. I don't know how long the period of update is but it seems one time per 60 minutes (I will add link of the detail if I find it). So technically, one user can send a merit to a Brandnew account that already makes at least one post or has never made a single post. Despite of the difference in the number of posts they have made, their ranks are displayed as Brandnew, temporarily. It depends on how we define "What is a brandnew account?" Based on number of posts have been made Or based on number of posts have been made AND have been counted by the forum database.
It depends on forum updates, and on our definitions. If you look it that way yes, you have a small window to actually do this but, brand new are accounts are those with 0 posts, but I'm not talking for temporary things here, the chance to see this is too small. If you make a 1 post after 15-20 min (sometimes even sorter time), you will rank up to newbie. If you make 1 post, receive 2 merit and delete this post, that will make you a Brand New with 2 merit and the ability to sent 1 merit even that you are Brand New, and that's permanent not temporary. We are soon entering in the period when if there was not a merit system people should rank up to Legendary. That's why I'm making this list to see who will enter into the Rank Up Legendary Zone (RULZ) who have received already minimum 990 why can't I play in this game?  Of course you can, I'm actually planning to lock this thread and start clean, to monitor all those who are about to Rank up to Legendary. The initial idea of this thread was only to follow those who register around me, and how many of them are close to the Legendary rank and at the end who will actually rank up. It already served it's purpose, that;'s why I'm planning to start from scratch. Just I need some more free time and I'll do it if there is not already something like this |

Yes, a newbie can send merit to others. There are some condition for that.
Suppose you are created your account today and get some merits from other in less than 30 activity. That means If you have more than 30 activity then you can not because you will be upgraded to Jr member after receiving 1 or more merits.

If you receive 1, 0.5 is generated but you can't send decimals. A newbie can send (if he as received some or he is a merit source (unlikely the case)) without restriction, except one. You can send up to 50 merit to one user in 30 days. |

Did you download it and then moved it to a new folder or did you leave it in the download folder? Also search for the wallet.dat or whatever you called it, when you saved your wallet. Just a note here > Electrum creats a default_wallet instead of wallet.dat. Searching only for wallet.dat will not help in this case. Basically searching for Electrum* should be enought and will do the job. |

Today started a new round, let's see who is gonna be the lucky Legendary winner if anyone will rank this time. As my previous week prediction I still put my money on BitCryptex.

Make sure you didn't download the portable version, check in the Downloads folder. It might be also be there. Just press Win+R > write: regedit > Enter, right click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER and choose Find, then just write "Electrum" and see what comes out. Pressing F3 will show you the next result. You will find the path if it's installed properly, the antivirus can mess up the installation as well. |

RapTarX is correct that the lowest rank has a minimum time limit between two posts is 360 seconds ~ 6 minutes. It was applied per rank before the merit system, but after we had the merit system, it has been applied with activity only (maybe I understand it wrong).
I think is more rank related, the activity now is just a part of the equation and solely gaining activity should not give you any benefits. The post you quoted is from 2013 and many things have actually changed. If you see the OP is says it obsolete now. ~

There is something called post bursting for which you can be excluded from a signature campaign of course depends of the campaign manager but most reputable ones do it. I don't think there is a specific rule about that occasion, but I had to look trough this guy's post history. Instant exchanges registration is very easy and you can sign up fast with just email address and a user name. It is more modern and easy to use.
But, the trading fees are higher than custodian exchanges. And not easy to use by novice that have little knowledge of how to protect crypto wallets.
