Bumping this because I dont want to create another thread.

Has anyone experienced the same as me the "502 Bad Gateway"?
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What was the idea behind the creation of Bitcoin? on: September 21, 2023, 11:51:45 PM
With these being said, logically the main idea behind bitcoin is Anonymity,Decentralization  and Security.
In short, to alternate fiat and have full control over your fund which means financial freedom that can be used mode of payment as a "Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System".

That's the idea of why Bitcoin was created and additional information will be found on the Whitepaper.
But as of now, some people see Bitcoin as a digital store of value, similar to gold, due to its scarcity and potential for long-term appreciation.

This topic has been discussed here many times.
Check it before creating existing topic.
263  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help a newbie! on: September 21, 2023, 11:24:53 PM
I really want to learn the basics in cryptocurrency and would need guidance from expert from this forum.
There's a lot, and I suggest reading every topic that has been pinned on every section because that has informative content.
However admit that sometimes be careful of what you have read here in the forum, you should find support before you will believe in it.
Joining different communities for crypto discussion would be a great idea too.

Here in the forum, you can start learning "Terminology" right after the forum rules and guidelines.
264  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best Bitcoin price tracker website on: September 21, 2023, 11:02:44 PM
It's pointed out above the best choice of Bitcoin price tracker which Coinmarketcap.com and in fact, I found this
 Top 7 coinmarketcap.com Alternatives & Competitors.

It might be good to give a specific feature you are looking for in a website Bitcoin tracker because there are too many of them.
If I were you choose the popular one.
265  Other / Meta / Re: Cybersecurity Board - Hardware Wallets Save All Now - But How Long ? on: September 21, 2023, 02:25:46 AM
~cut~

That's a very nice board. To be honest, I don't understand security and hacking. But if such boards exist, there will likely be discussions about hacking and phishing methods. I don't know whether discussing hacking and phishing is legal or illegal, but maybe if we analyze hacking and debate the methods, then people will know how to hack.
I tend to agree which could be the reason this board didn't exist.
It could be inciting illegal actions or activities and it could be seen by others or readers as an unethical way which might have an impact on our good reputation, as trusted forum members to be hesitant to trust or engage with you because they know about the capability of hacking.

267  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: To Deal with Resistance and Support on: September 19, 2023, 11:28:54 PM
Feel free to add you input as there are many lessons to learn.
There's no accurate result of support and resistance IMO, it will eventually break if there's enough buying or selling pressure.
So I think you need this last option to manage your risk and that's setting stop-loss orders to protect their positions in case these levels are breached.

I used this before and it seems it has a good result for me, it's a Bollinger Band.
If you're a day trader, it will identify the potential volatility levels and price reversals, possibly the upper and lower bands can act as intraday resistance and support levels, respectively, IMO.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel when you look at your first Bitcoin wallet? on: September 19, 2023, 10:59:17 PM
You're not alone in feeling this way about your early Bitcoin experiences and I did it last year.  I admit we have similar regrets when we look back at our wallets used and transactions.  I'm curious how much Bitcoin transaction comes to my wallet and I'm surprised it reached more than 1 Bitcoin.

IMO, this isn't good for us to have regrets and I will say, let it be.
If we think it too much, it might be disheartening to think about missed opportunities, but instead crypto isn't the end and there may still be opportunities ahead.  It isn't too late to accumulate again and forget what you have in the past, past is past.
269  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'm ready to learn crypto on: September 18, 2023, 11:21:47 PM
Why newbies are more afraid of bear market than senior crypto users? Is it because they don't know that bull market will come up later?
I quickly checked your account it seems I found you were here 3 years ago which I think is enough time to gain knowledge and not be afraid of investing in crypto.  The main reason could be, that newbies to crypto may not have experienced multiple market cycles and they might not be aware of the historical pattern of crypto markets, where bull markets are often followed by bear markets and vice versa.  Senior users have likely been through these cycles and understand that bear markets are temporary.

I'm ready to learn crypto so that I will be bold in any season I will come across in the future.
Good to know!
Community engagement is an ideal way to boost your knowledge about crypto in a technical aspect, however, upon investing, you'll be safe if you intend to hold your crypto assets for a long-term purpose.

So good luck!
270  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is there an exchange as similar as txbit.io? on: September 18, 2023, 11:02:45 PM
Guys, tell me if there is an exchange that is as similar as txbit.io visually and functionally. If anyone knows, please tell me!
So what feature that you like most about this exchange so that we can give you a recommendation, I didn't use an unknown exchange that might not have enough reputation to entrust our fund.  There's a lot of exchange that we can choose which is trusted enough, if you're willing to undergo KYC procedures go for CEXs and if you want to protect your privacy we have DEXs.

You can choose them here.
[BIG LIST] Buy/Sell Crypto (OTC, P2P, DEXs, CEXs, NO-KYC, ATMs, etc.).
271  Other / Off-topic / Re: Craig Wright deliberately made a fool of us all with his cyrptographic proof on: September 18, 2023, 10:26:49 PM
This doesn't prove of course that he has the keys, and doesn't prove that he is Satoshi Nakamoto, but for me the mindset this is coming might indicate he may indeed be Satoshi Nakamoto.
Are you Craig Wright?
You already stated that this doesn't prove why you still believed he is a Bitcoin creator.

Everyone needs valid proof and if he is able to sign the message then there's no doubt at all.
So I think to stop playing around and stop mentioning this name here, everyone knows about his foolishness.
272  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Was it my fault or not? on: September 15, 2023, 12:05:17 AM
Lies! lies!! lies!!!

If you insert a Usdt address (erc20 Or Bep20) it should show error or wrong address since they both start with “0x0”  and that of trc20 starts with “T” and bitcoin addresses are either “1”, “3”, or “bc1” so how the heck did the lady send the coin to a Usdt address??

The whole story look like an obvious bs story, first you told your boss to use “binance” to accept transactions which means he would be reusing his wallet addresses, and that might lead to issues since he won’t be able to differentiate who sent a transaction.
Haha, you nailed it mate.
If someone isn't caught, he could live happily ever after for merit hunting.

Let's assume that the story isn't a lie.
It might OP did not know that sending Bitcoin to USDT would lead to an error transaction and could be his director trying to prank him and now OP telling us here that BS story.

So now OP you can tell the police that the transaction is impossible.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I took a proposal to my State Governor to accept Bitcoin Technology on: September 14, 2023, 11:21:01 PM
That's a great initiative made by the OP, it seems you're close to the state governor, right?  Cheesy  That's very lucky.
As we know Bitcoin also has a negative outcome, your state government will need to carefully consider the risks associated with adopting and holding cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, it should be balanced on teaching not only the benefits.

Waiting for the result of your proposal, and please, update us here on whether it is successful or not.
It's encouraging other countries that still prohibit Bitcoin to wrong perception, it seems they need a good representative like OP.

That's great and good luck with your proposal.
274  Other / Meta / Re: Is there a limit on the disinformation, FOMO,...that can be dumped in the forum? on: September 12, 2023, 11:29:33 PM
..linking "conspiration" sites like 5 times a day
That belongs to a spamming category, you can report it to the moderator in that way.  Is there a referral link included?
Just hit the button below "Report to moderator".

Unfortunately, that's an old problem here and I tend to agree with the reply above.
This is a forum where everyone can freely speak whatever they like as long as isn't against the forum rules, there's no limit to posting.

Can you drop the link to this so that we can judge it too?
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin User Just Paid Half a Million Dollars for a Single Transaction on: September 12, 2023, 11:04:49 PM
2. Could there be able possible way of recovering from such an incident? Can those fee be returned to the person by the miners? Or let him just consider everything as his lose and live with it.
Based on the article someone speculates it's come from a buggy software wallet or it could be from an exchange.
So it's very risky to use a wallet like that might experience a painful mistake that could hurt on mistake.

I wanted to know now what wallet it is and to avoid it in the future, I believe this mistake is unforgettable to someone who did this, and good thing to know that the F2pool considers this as a mistake and has a grace period that the sender have an opportunity to reclaim the funds.

A lesson to learn about this, avoid rushing through transactions, especially when dealing with large amounts.
Always check the network status through mempool.space.
276  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are Technical Indicators useless? on: September 12, 2023, 10:38:36 PM
I tend to agree with all the comments above, in short, the market is unpredictable.
Technical indicators are just tools that you can use in trading and increase your chances of winning but it doesn't mean it gives you a full guarantee of making a profit.  It is not useless, sometimes traders have a better result upon using this.

It would be good if you would mix it up the technical and fundamental indicators because sometimes the price can be predicted based on previous data as you've said.  IMO, indicators can usually generate false signals, which might lead traders to make incorrect trading decisions, and crypto markets are often influenced by news, social media sentiment, and external events, which can override the signals generated by indicators.
277  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it too late to seek a new beginning? on: September 11, 2023, 11:33:15 PM
Please From where do I begin?
As a newbie, I suggest stopping for a while a bounty hunting and spending more time reading rather than posting in the forum or joining Bounty stuff.  The more you gain knowledge which makes it becomes easy for you everything, from having technical skills about Bitcoin and a higher chance to rank up.

Read every pinned thread on each section, that's very informative to us.
Well, good luck with your journey, just always follow the rules and guidelines in the forum and you'll be alright.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A very strange dust attack or an attempted robbery? on: September 11, 2023, 10:57:20 PM
I'm confused about where they get those thousands of addresses for dust attacks.

Technically, I don't know how this works further with them but I think this wasting of time since we know most people will always double-check transactions before sending or transferring to another address.

I remember last year one of my Bitcoin addresses was part of a dust attack but I successfully withdrew it and nothing happened.

By the way OP, thanks for sharing this.
279  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If they have the ability why would they sell? on: September 11, 2023, 10:29:55 PM
Are crypto signal groups for real?
No, they are not, usually most of them get into a scam.
I heard so many negative cases about the crypto signal groups since I was here in the crypto space and I doubt they are the same.

Quote
My common sense is asking me why will they create such group if they know how to be pro traders already? Like why can't they keep this to themselves and keep making their money? Why are they trying to help and getting subscribers in return? Just my own common sense like I've said. What do you have to tell me?
You already answered your question, just because of money.
Think about this, if they can make a good profit in trading why not they can make their own profit without offering that kind of service to others?
Then, it makes sense that kind of group created to scam new trader.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ouch, today someone made a transaction with over $500k fee. on: September 10, 2023, 11:57:51 PM
Unfortunately, if the doubt above was right, miners are not obligated to return the fee from a technical or protocol perspective.
So there's no assurance of being refunded.

IMO, this was what I was thinking of, it might be because of the miners themselves.
Some miners, including mining pools, might create transactions to send cryptocurrency from one of their own addresses to another.  Maybe by attaching a high fee to this transaction, they ensure it's included in the next block they mine, effectively paying themselves a higher fee but that's only my assumption.

Whatever it is, it's a huge amount of fee, looking for an update of it.
