261  Economy / Digital goods / Re: THE ULTIMATE UNLIMITED GIFT CARD METHOD | HAVE GREEN TRUST? GET YOUR VOUCH COPY! on: April 26, 2016, 04:59:38 AM
I have received details from OP.
It is not swagbucks/mturk or any method that I've heard of before but has some prerequisites that I do not have. It does not involve chargebacks and seems somewhat legal.

I am not able to test the method as I do not have the requirements for it, I'd recommend that the requirements be posted here so others can see them.
262  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Make easy Steam funds! on: April 26, 2016, 04:48:14 AM
Is 20 a day the limit or can you do more? Does it require a high initial steam balance?

I have TF2 installed, and am willing to take a vouch copy.
I should be able to test out the method and vouch within 12 hours.

263  Economy / Digital goods / Re: THE ULTIMATE UNLIMITED GIFT CARD METHOD | HAVE GREEN TRUST? GET YOUR VOUCH COPY! on: April 26, 2016, 04:46:42 AM
I would be willing to provide a vouch too if it is legal/works.

264  Economy / Gambling / Re: ? about the amount of transactions within a block on: April 26, 2016, 04:42:24 AM
The number of transactions included is decided by the miners. They can choose 0 transactions or as many transactions to fit the block size. They generally choose to maximize the transactions, since it doesn't cost them anything to add more transactions but they get the transaction fee.

This could hypothetically be manipulated by a large mining group, if the bet was substantial enough that they would want to.
Alternatively, one could add many many small transactions with a high transaction fee to fill the block to maximum size or by adding large transactions to prevent the block from becoming bigger.

There's a myriad of ways to affect it, but no way to real predict it. Also, the ways of affecting it are rather costly and likely not worth the cost unless the bet is large.
265  Economy / Gambling / Re: Exposing some techniques ROLLINdice site uses to scam on: April 26, 2016, 04:33:55 AM
So I changed my client seed and all bets with that seed can't be verified simply nothing happens when click on verify.

Proof. if you want to see just check these details to say if it's still provably fair.

server seed:

1461640444-_junba3oFJO6KzpD0d50mYhPj-OUivNJnXfCbXozYbQg7f5PfjCyu3bgZ9J3BMYH-7183-2175900

server seed hash:

ad90461aaa8d7d15385b0e1c86989b5990b3cfb31cd580012776bf82db89867c

client seed:

667SWqgh499NBT777

nonce:
7184

This is for freebitco.in I have deposited money and I'm not talking about free rolls but bets.

I think the verifier was just down at the time?

I tried it just now and it says the roll is 8371.

Let me manually do it to double check:

String1: 7184:1461640444-_junba3oFJO6KzpD0d50mYhPj-OUivNJnXfCbXozYbQg7f5PfjCyu3bgZ9J3BMYH-7183-2175900:7184
String2: 7184:667SWqgh499NBT777:7184

HMAC SHA-512 hash of String1 using String2:
d64d7c7776bee102b7ce54e309dad0ad24973f2276db42a8be470b14f4bcdca9426d7f115d64173 41fe4b05c98b938d81e84aae4634b37efab74e2c4b4586d55

First 8 digits:
d64d7c77

Convert to decimal:
3595402359

Divide by 429496.7295:
8371.19846

Round to nearest whole number:
8371

So, the roll was truly 8371, it's likely that their verifier was temporarily not working.
266  Other / Meta / Re: Create seperate Services sections for Signature Campaigns and Captchas on: April 26, 2016, 04:20:26 AM
According to this list, there are around 7 open signature campaigns and around 10-12 more that aren't accepting new applicants.
20-30 posts is far too small for a new subforum.

Similarly, the same can be said for captchas... there aren't that many people offering captcha services.

Unless we see 100s of companies offering captcha services or asking for signature campaigns, it doesn't make sense to have a seperate subforum just to have it be empty.
267  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] SUPER PRIVATE CSGO MONEY MAKING METHOD. NEW AND NEVER SEEN. [$30] on: April 26, 2016, 03:49:38 AM
Any estimate on how much you claim this method can earn your per day/per week and how much time it takes to use?
You'd definitely need that before even considering buying it..
268  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Bitcoin Lottery on: April 25, 2016, 02:45:13 PM
Not provably fair.

Ideally, you could generate a number based on the hash of the first block that is added to the blockchain after you start the draw. This would mean a delay of only around 10 minutes between starting the draw and choosing a provably fair winner.

If you wanted something faster, you could create a seed, and make a hash of the seed publicly available. Then you could make whoever has the highest value of hash(seed+transaction hash) win the lottery.

Either way, it is broken in its current format as you can just choose the winner yourself.
269  Economy / Digital goods / Re: want a full member account in exchange of my facebook account on: April 25, 2016, 01:40:58 PM
Don't suggest too much. Full member accounts only costs 0.03 BTC - 0.06 BTC at todays bitcoin price. 0.1 BTC is way too overpriced.

Strange, Full member used to cost that much. Sorry for the misleading info, I guess you should search around for more recent account sellers. (Haven't  been able to find any recently)
270  Economy / Digital goods / Re: want a full member account in exchange of my facebook account on: April 24, 2016, 05:40:16 PM
You can buy a full member account for around 0.1 to 0.3 BTC as far as I know, which is 40$ to 120$.

The only problems with FB are that you'll need to prove that the friends are real here first before getting any serious offers.

As the other person suggested, it is unlikely that the same person who has an account for sale will be interested in buying FB accounts.

Try selling the FB account for 40-120$ worth of BTC first, but I think it is unlikely that you'll get it due to it being hard to prove that your friends are real/engaged with content.
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: April 24, 2016, 05:27:11 PM
Presumably try a gambling hotline or other gambling help.
(EG: http://www.gamblersanonymous.org/ga/hotlines)

Personally not sure what can help, but I think something like a hotine or an association like gamblers anonymous should have information.
272  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any good sports betting BTC sites? on: April 24, 2016, 07:31:35 AM
Most of the major names are trustable enough to not run away with your money. (In fact DirectBet doesn't even hold your money, they send it back as soon as the bet is over)

But, I find that the biggest difference is the odds.
Try using http://www.bitedge.co/
It will tell you which sportsbook has the best odds for any specific bet and let you maximize profits.

EDIT: Note, it doesn't have Directbet, you may need to individually check it. But the problem is that Directbet usually has worse odds on average.
273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Idea for new dice game ? on: April 24, 2016, 07:20:44 AM
How about zero house edge or negative house edge (0% to -1%), many people want it but we don't see any dice do it.
Also, advance auto bet such as multiply when lose X times or pattern such as fibbonaci would attract some people.

I would love to learn more about zero house edge or negative house edge. If the house edge is stated like below doesn't that mean the owner will lose the money or lose a lot of money

i don't think it is going to lead the house to lose. house edge just gives the house slight edge to win more. with 0 house edge if i am not mistaken the win chance of 2x multiplier will be 50% instead of 49.9%-49.5% so the only difference is the 0.1-0.5% change but there is still 50% chance you lose and house takes your money.

The thing is that the house edge is taken every time you bet.
Without a house edge, the house will still stagnate in the long run or will end up with an overall loss with a negative house edge.

The only reason gambling sites can make profits despite having such small house edges of 1% is the law of large numbers, wherein eventually, profit is expected. 0 to negative house edge may be possible as a short term idea but will always fail in the long run.
274  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BitTrust Market will sell your coins for you (BTC to PayPal) on: April 23, 2016, 07:49:23 PM
Ahahaha all the three newbie accounts that posted on this thread were created within two hours of each other.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=830203
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=830182
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=830220

So... three shills probably created by the owner of the website in order to promote the website.

The fact that it uses a .herokuapp.com domain makes it even less trustworthy in my eyes, as it seems that less has been put into developing it. I wouldn't trust it, there are far more trustworthy services out there.
275  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do I make money with $100 USD BTC on: April 23, 2016, 05:04:05 PM
I don't think that there's anything that's easy to invest in or worth it.

You could think of typical stock indices, but you'd get 5-8% interest rate per year... which may be eaten up by transaction fees (BTC to fiat, investing fiat, divesting fiat, fiat to BTC)

If you try altcoins, you need to spend a lot of time to learn when pumps are happening and when dumps are about to happen. Any money invested in altcoins could halve while you sleep. The effort it'll take, and the odds of losing out anyways make it such that it's not worth spending time on it, considering the fact that you have only 100$. You'll earn more simply trying to find work on these forums.
276  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do I make money with $100 USD BTC on: April 23, 2016, 04:44:55 PM
The next 3 months are halving, so they are sure halving could make the price increase. I am also sure of it.

The halvening will bring about volatility most likely, but I'm not sure about a price increase.
There may be volatility because miners may decide to stop mining, increasing block times temporarily, causing people to get scared of BTC's lack of stability and leaving.
The effects of the reduced speed of mining won't be felt immediately... it'll take some time.
277  Economy / Lending / Re: I need 4 BTC, I will give it back 8.5 BTC, 30 days. on: April 23, 2016, 04:34:52 PM
A member for whole 6 minutes before asking for $1800.

p.s. why not go outside your house right now and take a picture of -

1) a piece of paper on the windscreen with your bitcointalk username on it.

2) a pic of you sitting in the drivers seat

That is quite irrelevant....

Having a car doesn't entitle him to a 1800$ loan which we have no way to return. Even if he was able to prove he had a hundred million dollars, it would mean nothing, as we would still have no clue whether he'd pay back or not.

Collateral of 5+ BTC would be needed. (likely even 8+ BTC because if the collateral is worth <8.5 BTC he may just decide to forget the collateral instead of paying 8.5 BTC)

1000 gamblers gamble 100$ every day on slotmachine. The house edge is 1%. The total money wagered is 100,000$ every day.

One big mistake everyone makes is here.
Is the total money wagered actually 100k?

When I go to a casino with 100$, if I lose it all instantly, sure, I've gambled only 100$.
What happens if I win some and then gamble it again? Like if I get 5$ on a 1$ slot, and I add the 4 extra dollars to my balance and continue gambling.

Entering a casino with 100$ may mean gambling 1000s or 10s of thousands of dollars.
Take the 1% house edge on the 1000s or 10s of thousands, and you will find out that much more goes to the bank.

Furthermore, slot machines usually have huge house edges, of upto 30%.

Overall, the house wins a lot more than you think they do. House edge is not counted on the amount which you have... but the total amount you bet in your hours of playing. If everyone who entered a casino only made one bet and left, the casino wouldn't earn as much as if they bet over and over and over compounding the house edge.
279  Economy / Gambling / Re: Exposing some techniques ROLLINdice site uses to scam on: April 23, 2016, 03:59:16 PM
To the OP: The lag is a distraction. Read the provably fair, they're either provably fair and the lag changes absolutely nothing. Even if each roll took 20 seconds, if the site is provably fair, it wouldn't matter.

Scamming despite provably fair is possible.

Example: I bet high every time, with the same client seed. The server now knows I bet high and knows my client seed. The server now choose a server seed which would give a low result. It hashes this and displays the server seed hash.

The server does not change anything after I have bet, but by assuming that I don't change from high to low and don't change my client seed, I will lose.

Primedice actually used to have more issues (maybe still does) where even if you change from bet high/low, there's a chance they can still mess with you.

That would make the server extremely vulnerable. Imagine for instance you knew PD did that, all you need to do is keep re-using the same client seed, and then always betting high. Then when you change your server seed, start making giant, low bets and destroy their bankroll. There's no way a casino would expose itself like that.

Or even better, just randomize your client seed like you're supposed to Tongue

Does it? The idea is that a user is not supposed to notice this.

Let's say I make a program that increases the odds of a number below 50 to 75% if you bet high many times in a row.
The user is going to think he's just unlucky, not that the site is trying to mess with him.

The other idea is for a person to manually interrupt. If I see a whale coming in and betting 0.5 BTC on high over and over the operator could change it such that he is more likely to get a losing number.

I'm not necessarily saying that this is practically feasible. But even if it is hypothetically possible, it'd be stupid to let the casino have any chance of being able to impact your chances of winning. Randomize seed after every roll, kids.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the future of online gambling? on: April 23, 2016, 03:47:28 PM
A lot of people may join but the largest players may still stay away. And all it would takes is one inputs.io-esque event for BTC gambling to die out a lot.

Most online casinos can be tracked, their money can be tracked, and if they run away, they can easily be caught and checked. If they claim their money was stolen, the stolen money can be stopped.

On the other hand, like what happened to inputs.io, if a casino claims that their BTC simply got stolen, and has some clause in their terms and conditions protecting them, they can just get off scot-free.
For example, most of the forums says that TF conclusively stole from inputs.io. But it can't ever be really completely proven...

Also, anonymous owners can add an even bigger problem, as there is nobody who can be held responsible for theft.... but I guess most major BTC gambling sites won't use anonymous owners.

TL;DR: All it takes is one big BTC gambling site to run away with all deposits, and BTC gambling is in trouble for a long long long time.
