262  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTC Gamble Pro - Artificial Intelligence Gambling System, Roulette and Dice Game on: July 12, 2019, 06:48:54 PM

You are totally right and we know all ththe facts too.

Martingale is the worst progression ever and does not work, there are some better progression yes but they will all fail if you are basing your strategy only in a  progression because not matter how good its it will not overcome the house edge, the only way to so it is increasing your bet selection prediction.

A winning strategy need the following:

Flat bet/progression + bet selection + money management

Let me explaine you what we had done:

We had develope a custom hybrid progresion that use flat bet, positive and negative trend, which means that your balance will increase and decrease in the midle of the session.

For bet selection our algorithm increase the Accuracy of the results enought to overcome house edge.

For money management we had set  200 units as min capital and Stop Loss feature to not let you loss more than 20% of your capital in a bad session.

We had work very hard to provide you with a winning gambling system and i think that 1 week is annough time to evaluate the results, because lets be frank have you ever gamble for 1 week and had continue winning without lossing money for the whole week ?

Isn’t it enought a 1 week TST? Have you ever TST a gamble system that can hold for 1 week ?

To the people not interesting, continue lossing and move on please.

Thanks

I'm not certain how your algorithm is supposed to detect a sufficient bias using a "positive or negative" trend. The next result in a dice game is not dependent on what happened in any of the previous results, unless there is some kind of flaw in the random number generator. (Unlike a card game where the cards are not shuffled, which is dependent on previous results since the same card can't be dealt twice.) With live casino roulette, it is possible to get a reasonable calculation on where the ball will land to overcome bias, while the ball and wheel are in motion and bets are still being allowed. However, It does not appear that your program is capable of detecting such things and making the needed calculation.
Also, I do not think the casual gambler is going to have enough sessions to detect a bias near the middle of a particular session. This appears especially true when it appears that your program requires the user to manually input the results. In order to detect a bias, you would need a large sample size, probably in the billions, and that is being overly generous.

263  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTC Gamble Pro - Artificial Intelligence Gambling System, Roulette and Dice Game on: July 12, 2019, 05:10:22 PM
I know you think you can prove something that would show how your system could win all the time and never bust but the ones here that know mathematics know that it is mathematically impossible and will never believe you over science. I mean it is just so simple, there is house edge hence there is always a chance to bust, nothing more and nothing less, you can't make up stuff that will suddenly turn that house edge into zero or positive for the gambler, there is no way.

You can explain the way you claim it will work, you can explain why you think your "AI" (which is machine learning not AI, AI is literally human like minds, not machine learning) could over come the odds and make money but in the end it will all be for nothing because not a single word you type will be believable for anyone that knows even a bit of math.

I don’t understand all of you that accept the fact thay there is not way to make money in long term gambling.

It’s like if you guys enjoy to give your bitcoin to those bias “provably fair casino”.

If you are good with that, insane... , but if you like to gamble but are tired to loss, then my platform is here to help you get an extra source of income long term.

Look like all of you like to loss and accept this fact.. better stop to gamble IMO

Your claims are rather extraordinary. Therefore, us skeptical gamblers are going to need more proof than just taking your word for it. (Which we are not going to get, since your proof would probably involve valuable secrets you don't want others to copy, if true.)Also, your free trial period is not long enough for a casual gambler to get a large enough sample to verify with a high level of certainty that the results are sound. Somehow, your algorithm has to have the capability to detect some kind of bias in the results of the game, in a reasonable number of trials, and the bias has to be big enough that it can be used to overcome the casino's advantage. If all your algorithm is doing is implementing a convoluted version of a martingale betting strategy, coupled with bankroll management, in the end, it is not going to work.
Perhaps if your program focused on games that were not randomly generated, with the new results independent of the previous results, it would have more credence. Otherwise, the dice have no memory nor does the roulette wheel.
264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Megan Rapinoe given 300/1 odds to win the 2020 presidential election on: July 12, 2019, 01:03:13 PM
Megan Rapineo should better do what she knows how to do best and not meddle in politics affair that does not concern him, I know that she is an adversary of Donald trump, but there are more adversaries she needs to tackle in her own line of carrier than to start tackling Donald trump.

Donald trump is a man of the people and he has really been doing his best, so I don’t know what hate speech Megan has been having around against him to perform better, he has tried, and I have not seen anyone that is qualified to take that seat away from him come 2020, Donald trump will beat any candidate hands down, including Megan Rapineo if she decides to join the race, which I will advise she does, so that she will understand it is not so easy, and not just sit down there and be an adversary to someone who is doing a very good job in the united states of America.
You must remember that Trump never held any political office until becoming president. If Megan wants to "meddle" in politics, it is her right as a US citizen. However, the Democrats already have enough candidates, so she probably wouldn't have much success getting support from that party. Also, most third party/independent candidates don't fare too well. I personally think the 300 to one odds are a suckers bet, however. I think her real chances of winning the election are more like one in a billion.
265  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump Tweets the Word Bitcoin on: July 12, 2019, 12:50:12 PM
Am I the only person here who feels that this tweet is to harm Facebook Libra coin, and it means no harm for bitcoin. Trump could have declared bitcoins illegal and banned their sales in the past, but he didn’t care to do so and now he’s using it to target Facebook coin as he feels it’ll harm his policies. It’ll be interesting to see how Mark reacts to this statement, and do you’ll think Facebook will apply under US Banking Charter to please the President?.
Well, Trump doesn't get around to dissing Libra until the 2nd response tweet. I think if push comes to shove, Mark will apply for a US Banking charter. Also, Trump is trying to imply that Libra coin will be used for criminal activity. With Facebook's record for tracking every single thing it's users do, only an idiot would use Libra for criminal activity. In fact, only an idiot will use Libra for any type of transaction.
266  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump Tweets the Word Bitcoin on: July 12, 2019, 03:10:15 AM
Trump just doesn't get it when it comes to Bitcoin. Plus, if it wasn't for banks willing to lend him lots of that fiat that they conjure out of creating debt, he wouldn't have been able to create his real estate empire. You would think after a couple of the bankruptcies, that the banks would be leery of lending to his business . However, when it comes to fiat, easy come, easy go.
267  Other / Meta / Re: help out some sources and source applications THX in advance. on: July 11, 2019, 07:36:10 PM
So I think with everyone in here that my topic isn't really unreasonable.... and an increase to sources would be healthy right??

Yes, I think increasing the source allocation to those who are using it up, and are distributing it to good posts, should get a bit of an increase. Also, we could use a couple more good merit sources. Even with the increase, I do not suspect account farmers and spammers are going to get too much love.
268  Other / Meta / Re: help out some sources and source applications THX in advance. on: July 11, 2019, 07:30:58 PM

I've added myself to the list too. I'm one spot above bones261, while I know he has a larger source amount. In January, mine was increased from 200 to 400 sMerit. This topic makes me realize once more that's a luxurious position to be in Smiley
At the increase, I expected I'd have to give more than 1 Merit per post to empty it, but I'm still giving just 1 most of the time. I do merit more posts though.
If I'm "slacking" for just a few days, there's a huge amount piling up that feels like my duty to quickly distribute. I've been working hard to get "my own stash" down, it peaked at 560 recently, and is now down to 477.

I often find myself deliberately rationing my sMerits so I have some to award in the coming days.
I do that on my mobile Tongue And I often post my own name from mobile to use Maggiordome to summon myself to Merit a post. I've considered applying my Mobile to be a source too, I think hilariousetc did that too.

Wow, you exhaust your source merit and only give out one at a time? That is a great deal of reading and rewarding! I give out 2 at a time and with the smerit that I earn, I only tend to run out every once in a while. I'm not certain that I am capable of meriting 500+ individual posts per month. You are a true merit cycling legend.
BTW, if theymos is taking into consideration whether to up certain individual's source merit, I personally think that I am in the Goldilocks zone.
269  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: The Lightning Network FAQ on: July 11, 2019, 03:49:15 PM
There are significant distinctions between the two, though. For instance, the Lightning payment can be immediately used in a subsequent transaction without waiting for a block confirmation to occur.

Technically, merchants could accept 0-conf transactions which would be instant in such case but that would expose them to double-spending. Instead of believing users, they can set up a Lightning Network node and trust themselves.

Merchants transact in fiat,
Most immediately convert BTC to fiat upon receipt making sure they don't lose money on btc instability.
Lightning network is even worse as the time locks insure no quick fiat conversion.

Meaning if a Merchant does use LN, they do it thru a 3rd party service that offers almost instant fiat conversion.
Otherwise , a small $1000 variance lower in BTC verse fiat could have a devastating effects on their fiat profit margins.

Merchants want stability in price , odds are Libra become more popular than LN with merchants.

If LN is to make inroads with merchants theirs needs to be price stability added.
Find a way to do that, and you could increase merchant adoption.

Since Libra will be based on the blockchain, I would hope someone can integrate Libra in LN too. Also, the merchant can accept BTC and then do an atomic swap for Libra, Tether, or whatever "stablecoin" that they prefer.
270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What importance is kyc In gambling section on: July 10, 2019, 02:09:14 AM
Well, if a gambling site requires KYC info, I am probably not going to play. I live in the US and AFAIK, the US does not consider it legal to offer gambling online to its citizens, unless the are abroad. also, in the US, brick and mortar casinos are required to gather KYC info for AML purposes if someone tries to cash out 10000 USD or above, in one day. It has been a while since I last cashed out so much; but I recall them asking for my ID; they recorded the transaction and my identifying information  in a log; and I believe that I had to sign for it.
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What 🛠are the advantages 🔝of playing poker💵 on: July 09, 2019, 10:41:11 PM
Can you share where you can play some free poker tournaments?
I tried playing poker but most of my games are lost, lost games are a lot than winning games. But I learnt before about being patience on poker, and don't be a greedy always.

I also read before here that if you are perfect can control your emotion while playing poker, it's an additional advantage for you, like for bluffing, or like wearing some eyeglasses to hide your eyes from your opponents.

You probably have more experience than me when it comes to playing poker. For some reason, I always felt intimidated by playing against other players. I usually played Blackjack, which is a pretty straight forward game, although I am amazed at how many people don't know the proper strategy. Also, if you play online, you don't have to worry about keeping a poker face. However, I believe that their are programs out there that can track a player's betting habits. So I would gather that a good poker player has to also be able to change up their betting strategies, so their opponents are kept guessing.
272  Economy / Reputation / Re: Re - "FAIR TREATMENT FOR ALL." on: July 09, 2019, 09:43:11 PM

Wait, is it The Pharmacist's gang now? I really need to know who I should report to, now that Lauda has disappeared in mysterious circumstances.
dont be an idiot, you know its lauda's gang which includes morons like whom defending abusive members like the pharmacist.

If you are going to put forth this theory, you need to get some facts straight.
1) Lauda excluded the Pharmacist from her trust list. If Lauda was truly a champion for him, this was an odd way to go about it.
2) Lauda has recently been blacklisted from DT1. (She still is on DT2 though.) With this recent development, the "gang" needs to be reorganized.
273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling vs. "leveraged" trading on: July 09, 2019, 06:25:49 PM
In terms of how easy to takeover yes gambling is far easier than trading, you can just bet all you want and expect luck to permits you no need to calculate and think of anything else, but in terms of chances its much better to take trading if you do have time to research and review more about the market condition for you to take advantages of situations.

Not all forms of gambling are just based on luck. If someone is a sports better, they can just randomly pick teams to win; however the more skilled gambler knows the players and what is going on with the teams to attempt to make a better determination. Also, in the game of Blackjack, some people keep track of the cards that have been dealt by card counting, which does take quite a bit of thinking. However, even in games that are purely chance, some gambler's still do a great deal of thinking because they believe they have a "system" for picking out certain outcomes.

274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🌭 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest - 4th July 2019 🌭 on: July 08, 2019, 08:15:25 PM
Disgusting contest really if you think about it watching adults shove hotdogs and watered down bread buns in their faces for the thrill of victory and fame.
But as since this is the 4th of July tradition for some of you I am glad you were able to enjoy this event and hopefully you yanks made some BITCOIN.

Well, it could have been more disgusting and involved corndogs. I read on the internet that many people outside the US do not understand what the appeal is with the things. I happen to agree. Every time I eat a corndog, I am rather disappointed. I suppose that it would be really dangerous to have an eating contest involving corndogs. That stick could do all kinds of nasty things to someone's throat.
275  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 08, 2019, 07:53:14 PM
AYH by the end of tomorrow please.
It would be nice if the price of BTC got all the way up to 20,000 USD by tomorrow. However, I am almost positive with such a rapid rise, we would have a very deep correction, since many people caught in the December 2017 parabolic rise would love to unload and be done with BTC.
276  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Livecoin.net Scam on: July 08, 2019, 06:42:09 PM
After reading through this thread and seeing livecoin admit to holding the users account "hostage" until he removes all the negative press against them, I've formed the opinion that all users should cease wearing the advertisement for them and the campaign should be closed.

This essentially is no different than the Betcoin issue. The monetary amount is different, but a scam is a scam. Everyone sure had an opinion on that issue and pressured users wearing the sig to remove the signature.

It's ridiculous for the exchange to have such shady ToS knowing full well most users probably do not read them anyways. Basically they have admitted to wrongdoing(even though in their minds they are right), they don't really care about the bitcointalk communities opinion or they wouldn't hold the OPs coins hostage until he removed comments.

Sometimes pressure from this community is what gets things done, and users have a right to voice their opinions or concerns.

Can someone link me to all flags against this exchange, i'll give some support. I would also like to ask community opinion on the campaign continuing?

The only flag that I am aware of is the OP. He gives the link in the first post. However, here is the link, again.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=308

278  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Livecoin.net Scam on: July 06, 2019, 04:16:03 PM
I'm not trying to attack you, I'm trying to understand.

Are you claiming that LiveCoin owes you 0.3BTC because that is what you paid for a coin that later dropped significantly in value? I understand if the wallet got locked and you could not withdraw/deposit MONA but you could have sold it to BTC at that point, no?

I have no idea what MONA is or what it's value has been, but help me  understand please Smiley
The OP is claiming to have bought Mona coins for about 40K sats each. If he was allowed to withdraw his Mona coins, he could sell his Mona coins for 20K sats for a 50% loss.(BTC wise) His only option now, if Livecoin reactivates his account, is to sell them for about 4300 sats each on Livecoin. That is almost a 90% loss.(BTC wise) If Livecoin invoked the option to make all current Mona asset holders take a haircut, the OP will probably still be better off, since withdrawals will be re-enabled, which is likely to have a positive effect on the market price at Livecoin, and if not, he can dump elsewhere.
279  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Livecoin.net Scam on: July 06, 2019, 03:59:19 PM

You're right.
All this looks like blackmailing rather than "scamming OP".

Let's watch in this situation step by step:
OP bought 750 MONA coins one year ago. After 51 % attack on MONA network he became active again (through some period of time) and starts to claim for coins withdrawal . After he got rejected, he went to bestchange.ru and here and starts to blackmail exchange. Livecoin of course doesn't right to, because they blocked him (and most negative feedbacks from forum members because of that fact) and refered to some "user agreement".
Very suspicious situation as for me. Because of such things:
1. OP wants TO WITHDRAW coins. Not to refund them, not to sell or somethings. Mostly, ordinary people don't act in such ways. They want their money back, not "withdraw".

2.  OP writes from a group of people
As long as there are people with the same opinion as yours, we will have exchanges, such as livecoin.
Really, "we"? "WE"? Who is that "We"?

3. Interesting fact about one way to attack different exchanges:

Translation of selected part:
"The point: Cryptocurrency with weak hashrate is chosen (or creates) for such attack. Attack 51 % took place, covertly at first, compromised coins is sends to exchanger and sells for btc (or something valuable). Then scammer withdrawing btc and after that he publiches corrupted chain and compromised coins dissapear from exchanger history. In fact, scammer sold air to exchanger"

One moment: to sell big amount of shitcoins you need at first increase trading volume and adjacent things. That means that some "clean" coins still stored on exchange (they were used for such things) and maybe scammer want them back too. In that case he will use earlier prepared accounts with claims to open withdrawal.

Not excluded that we are witnesses of such scenario.
How on Earth is demanding to withdraw coins that you purchased, "blackmail?" This is like going into a store, purchasing a product, and then the store refuses to let you leave with the product that you just purchased. Is it blackmail if that customer then proceeds to write a scathing review on Yelp? I think not. If Livecoin does not want to allow withdrawals on Mona or Monero because they now have a fractional reserve due to the acts of malicious miners and vulnerability exploiters, then the right course of action is to suspend trading as well, until they can come up with a resolution to the issue. The right course of action is not to continue to allow people to trade the asset and profit off of it indefinitely. Furthermore, since both of these assets are trading much lower on their exchange, it is quite possible that Livecoin is buying the asset for a discount oin their own exchange and then selling the asset on another exchange for a huge profit. Due to Monero being a privacy coin, they could probably get away with this. I certainly hope that Livecoin is not resorting to such measures. However, they need to suspend trading, and come up with another resolution to solve their insolvency issue with both of these assets. Enough time has passed; so it is clear that neither the Mona team or the Monero team is going to cover their losses. It is high time that they explore the other option that they outline in their terms of service. Yes, making their clients take a haircut will piss some clients off; however, I am sure many will understand since in both cases, it does not appear to be an inside job. They can do what bitfinex did when they got hacked. They offered their customers a token, and devoted a small portion of their profits to distribute compensation to their clients who held or bought the token.
280  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Government shouldn't outlaw Private Insurance and Democrats know that on: July 06, 2019, 02:50:26 PM
The current Medicare system has part C, which allows for a participant to have a private insurance company take over their Medicare benefits, (a Medicare advantage plan.) Furthermore, a participant can opt out of part B. ( A participant should have other insurance if they opt for this.) Furthermore, Medicare claims are usually handled by government contractors. (These are private companies.) However, what many of the Democratic candidates are actually pushing resembles this very little. In fact, it appears what they are offering is closer to VA health benefits for all. This program is totally run by the government and like most government run programs is totally inefficient. I'd be all for a "Medicare for all" program if what they offer is actually closer to what Medicare currently offers. However, I am feeling like many democratic candidates are actually pushing for something that I think would be disaster and labeling it "Medicare for all," since Medicare is a popular program, and they are trying to bamboozle their voters.
