Well, the two trust comments that he has made so far seem to be accurate. Plus, the people he places in his trust list appear to not be of concern. I think Ddmrddmr has a good head on his shoulders and will do a great job on DT1.

Damn, I dropped like 40 places in the most recognizes category while moving up in most trusted & most merited, whatup with that?  I went up over 100 spots. I think something is going on with the trust ratings ATM. There is no way there are only 500 accounts with positive trust. (0 trust starts at 501.) |

It may have been abuse or it may have been a typo. The 40 merits given did not help the receiver rank up though. I have a couple of occasions were I gave 20 merits by mistake instead of 2. Edit: I stand corrected. But what a stupid way to expend your merit on an alt. It did little to help the alt from what I can see. |

You have to either be naive, dishonest, or both to claim that being on DT does not result on better terms for signature deals, does not allow you to trade on better terms, doesn't provide better/more business opportunities.
Well perhaps in the past being on DT made you more notable. However, it is so diluted now, it does little to distinguish me from any other random user around these parts. |

If you operate under the assumption that OgN has an overly inflated ego, or is delusional in terms of his success (I don't agree this is the case, but hypothetically...), I don't see any reason why anyone would want to harm his reputation -- if this was the case, he would do this to himself. However, OgN criticizing a certain group of powerful people does give an incentive to these people to try to discredit him to allow them to maintain power, and ultimately the income derived from said power.
I didn't realize that OgN should be treated like some saint and be beyond reproach. I thought that spot was reserved for satoshi only. Also, I must be doing it wrong since my stint of being a merit source for over a year and DT for a couple months hasn't earned me 1 satoshi. Hence why I finally broke down and joined a signature campaign and gave up my hat avatar.  |

What we could do is create a token on the HowieCoin blockchain. People may purchase tokens, and if they want to demerit someone, they can burn a token or two or a million and the smart contract will automatically demerit someone. Bitcointalk will be the 1st to give HowieCoins a use case. I think implementing Demeritokens will help the marketcap of HowieCoins soar to the moon and beyond. I will go to shutterstock to assemble a team to get to work on it ASAP. Anyone know of a some good white papers that I can "reference?" |

My topic sounds like a fishing expedition? I have proof I am asking if I blow this person up or not Do you feel that this person is currently putting the community members in peril? If you have proof that a highly trusted member is heavily involved as an account broker, I think the community should know. However, when someone becomes a whistle blower, there is a chance that you will get quite a bit of backlash. Also, if someone is taking steps to conceal that they are trading in accounts, it may be difficult to present proof people will find as credible. If it is a bunch of screenshots, people will dismiss it as being photoshopped, especially if it can be shown that you have a past unresolved misunderstanding with the individual. |
